Prof. Broitman is a great teacher. He makes the subject fun and adds humor to a boring subject. Take this class with him! Only three test for the whole semester and three papers. Easy class. Love this guy!

Weekly readings with a 1 page reflection paper. The mid term and final are essay question. He has amazing class discussions. As long as he his sees you participating he is a happy camper. He is very honest and just wants his students to learn.

The Intro course was the easiest college class I've ever taken, the teacher was not harsh toward students, he was clear and decisive as what to do and overall hilarious. There is not much of a workload all you have to do is show up, participate, and he gives you a couple of days to finish the midterm which is done online and is multiple choice.

This professor is by far one of my favorites (which is why I'm actually taking the time to type this). I took his 20th Century Humanities class and it was, by far my favorite. I learned a lot and Prof Broitman really knows how to keep things interesting. I'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

I took professor Broitman in high school and not college but felt compelled to comment on him anyway. Mr. Broitman is not only the best teacher I have ever had in my life, but also one of the most inspirational and amazing people I have ever met. Easy Professor, he knows his stuff, this is by far the easiest college class you will ever take. If you show up and do FOUR total assignments he gives you, you will get an A.

I am attending classes at Seminole State and I knew the distance involved to be able to take a class with Jeb Broitman as the professor. He made the class worth every mile driven and every toll paid. I had to stretch myself on some of the assignments and test, but I am better off . He handled his class with honesty fairness and was diplomatic.

Jed Broitman is freaking awesome! We go over everything! Also he chooses different ways to keep your attention. He loves to share his different interests which are pretty broad, especially as far as music and different types of art. If you would like to go into art or even take Visual Art this also would be a great class to take. Awesome lectures

His first words were that this class is a GPA booster. If you participate and do what little work he assigns, you'll get an A in the course. He made the class fun and it was a good stress reliever from harder classes. The PowerPoints were utterly boring though. It's an intro course, so it's very broad. DO NOT buy the textbook. Never used it once.

it is impossible to fail his intro into humanities class, i am not sure about other classes he teaches but he makes intro into humanities very easy on purpose because he wants us to have that one "free exciting" class as a college experience. This is the most amazing experience I have with a professor ever. I took him for both Intro to Humanities and 20th Century. He is hilarious and helps you with anything you need. In 20th Century you will right reflection essays each week on a passage in the textbook and he grades generously. As long as you do your work it's an easy A for sure.

He emails you back on time, has a great sense of humor (even through an online course) and I actually learned many new materials. He lays out what is due each week and grades well. Professor Broitman is easily the best professor I've had at West Campus. His classes are interesting and I left feeling like I actually learned something useful. He's really understanding and cares about what he does. There aren't firm due dates on reflections and there was only one essay. If you need a Gordon Rule course, take this one for sure.

Mr. Broitman is easily one of my favorite online professors! He was very clear with his expectations. Each week we have 3-4 small assignments. Like watch a movie, do a discussion, listen to a podcast, or express our opinion on a topic. He doesn't have a min word count!!! Also, he actually gives fun and though provoking topics to work on.

Mr. Broitman is a great professor, there is never a day filled with dull lecture. He really makes this class entertaining! We did things such as listening to podcasts, watching movies, rarely reading stories, and as well as go on a field trip. Don't sweat the tests! They are very easy because he goes over what is to be expected on them.

Really easy class. There are weekly (very short) writing assignments and a few online exams. You get more out of the class from being there and listening to him speak than I think you would with another professor. Very interactive class. The tests, however, have a lot of questions that weren't stuff we learned.

Broitman was an awesome proffesor! He assigns 10 short reflections, 1 major paper, and 3 tests! He is very fair when he grades and he interact with you through his feedback. We were required to sign in at the beginning of class a few times out the semester (it's a grade)! He does offer a few extra credit! If I could take him again I would!!

Professor Broitman makes Humanities more interesting. All the tests are online and theres only a couple projects that need to be done for his class and thats it. He doesnt use a textbook and attendance isnt really mandatory. Hes funny and talks about real world issues a lot. Id take him again for another class.

Took his online class. Super easy and fun. The professor does not require a book. You will have to do two big projects and the test are easy and are not timed. I love the fact that he used Kanopy to watch several documentary films and then answer questions. This was a stress-free class and I actually enjoyed it.

Super funny professor! I took him for both 1020 and 2250. There are 3 assignments and 1 discussion per week. The class isn't hard but you will have to read a lot and watch 1 hour long videos (once a week). Highly recommend him.

Literally the best professor out there. The way he delivers information makes it impossible not to learn. There is 5 test questions and they are given to you ahead of time for every test. There are 10 reflections throughout the semester and they are all opinion based so you can never get a bad grade.

YOU GUYS. This is such a great professor. I now finished my AA and this was my favorite class, even being online. He gives such good feedback. I have learned so much from this class. He has four assignments unlock every week but they are very easy. He doesn't take late work. Group discussion with 2 replies. His assignment are different and fun. Two quizzes but was confused about where to find the content. 2 projects as finals. If you don't miss any work and put the effort into your replies you will receive an A.

This professor is such a kind and charismatic person. I hate school, but I always looked forward to his class. The classwork he assigns is actually interesting and can be completed quickly. He isn't a strict grader which is great since he assigns about 4 assignments per week.

I always wanted to take History of Motion pictures and I had a few friends saying how much of an awesome professor he is and they are not wrong. I love Professor Broitman in my history of motion pictures class. this sem. He clearly cares about his students and for the most part the homework is easy. You get 3-5 assignments per week but you're just watching a movie and writing 2 paragraphs about it. Easy but you need to make sure you set time aside, watching 3-5 films a week takes up time.

3-4 extremely easy assignments a week that are mainly opinion based as well as 2 simple, short projects and a couple canvas tests that you can use his powerpoints to answer. If you have poor time management, take History of Motion Pictures a semester where you don't have a heavy class load. You can do it, it just gets tiring. About 3-4 movies/assignments a week, including a discussion and a normal assignment format.

Professor Broitman is an interesting professor(in the best way). Typically the workload is 2-4 assignments a week where you watch documentaries, listen to podcasts, or listen to music and write answers to questions he asks. Dr. Broitman grades very quickly and there are only a few tests that can be easily passed through reviewing the material. Most assignments are based off of videos or podcasts. Feedback is great and encourages deeper learning of the subject. The class doesn't take much of your time despite the many assignments.

Overall a good class. Each week consisted of 3-4 assignments that were either discussions or free response. It seemed as if as long as you wrote something sounding as you understood the assignment, you would get full credit, so Im not sure he truly read through the work, which was helpful if you didn't quite understand.

I wish he was my professor for every course. The semester is coming to an end and I am going to miss him for sure. He made everything so fun and so easy. Professor Broitman is an absolutely amazing professor, even on an online course (which is not common in my opinion). He really found ways to interact with us and would send out general messages telling us to let him know if we had any questions. Easiest A you will get in a semester. All you have to do is show up, participate in the convos, and have an open mind to learn about different topics. You will find what you want to take as your Hum Institutional class for the next semester. He gives tests that you do on your own at home, meaning there's no reason to not have a 100.

Take him! Some of the films aren't for everyone but the assignments are mainly opinion based and he is not a harsh grader whatsoever. He is so chill and laid back. He is really easy to please. He doesn't offer too much extra credit, but his class is easy to complete. Open note exams, if you put any effort into the homework he gives it 100, there are 2 projects. They are super easy though, and the lowest grade was a 90 (on the project). No attendance grade, but try to be there for his amazing personality.

I took Intro to Humanities as a dual enrollment online class and it was a great first college course. Professor Broitman is understanding and communicates well. There were only a handful of assignments due every week and as long as you completed them you would get a good grade. He also gives feedback on every assignment. Would take again.

This guy is amazing! He does assign A LOT assignments, but they're very easy and provides you with videos or reading prompts to answer the questions. He is also a master of feedback; he responds to all submitted assignments with deeper insight on the subject. Great prof 100/10 recommend taking him for any humanities course he teaches.

The most prominent thing about him is his sense of humor and how low his standards are in grading. There are about 3-4 assignments per week due Friday. They can be podcasts, videos, discussions, or analyses. Really simple tasks and most questions are open-ended. 2 projects, they're easy and fun to do. Don't procrastinate and you get an A.

Great dude with a great sense of humour. I would take him again if I still had humanities credits to take. He's that good! He usually has 1 (2 max) assignments a week on canvas and its almost always asking for your opinion on something. No right or wrong answers. We had 2 projects which were both very easy. I cannot stress this enough, take this class. Easy A. As long as you turn something in. All of the "tests" are on canvas and are open note. He makes class fun.

This is class is very easy, I really recommend this class if you want to get the credit out of the way. I really enjoyed his class and will take him again. The only way to fail is if you don't submit anything, this class is very simple and straightforward. There are three projects, but they're not hard. Just don't procrastinate on them.

He's a chill grader. As long as you breathe and submit your assignments on time you'll pass. 2 regular writing assignments and a discussion due every week. You'll have 2 projects to do (very simple) and 1 major quiz.

This class is very boring! There are 2 assignments and 1 discussion due each week. Each discussion you need to wrote 2 paragraphs and respond to 2 people. There is no exams in this course just assignments, discussions and 1 or 2 quizzes. Some assignments requires you to be outside taking pictures of different things. Be ready to read and write!

This professor i took with only 9-10 weeks so TWK. There were 4 assignments almost every week 1-2 was 5 instead. 2 projects, easy, assignments are easy. This class was very easy to keep a A+ never had to stress whatsoever. STOP LOOKING THIS IS THE TEACHER TO TAKE END OF STORY. Im so glad i found this professor all the others were extra on rmp.

Jed not only rocks, but he's hilarious. As a cinephile, this was the easiest class of my college career so far. You're literally graded on stating your opinions on films. Easy! There were 2-3 films assigned a week, your classic discussion post here and there, and the final exam was so easy. Take this class if you love film, or wanting an easy class

this was the funniest professor ive ever taken! his work is very easy, disc posts, writing assignments, only 1 major quiz, and a little project at the end. he is a very easy grader but please do yourself a favor and do not cheat, he can tell. just speak normally... like you should :)

This class is an easy A, just speak your mind and give a lengthy response and you'll get a 100 on every assignment. There are only two big projects throughout the semester and they are time-consuming but you can easily get an A. The final is just talking about your favorite topic in class. He is super friendly and easygoing!

Very knowledgeable and gives amazing feedback! Easy A! The professor is so funny! This class was very enjoyable! I'm so glad I chose him as my professor! The homework assignments are a little time-consuming but manageable!

I took Film History over the summer and this class was my motivation for the semester, the assignments are clear/organized and routine. About 3 assignments per week, one being a discussion post and 2 were films/film related videos. Professor was always helpful when I emailed him with questions, I would recommend!

Professor Broitman's passion for this course and his open interpretations of this art form has helped me immensely. His lectures give the perfect amount of information and entertainment, I never feel bored in this course and yet I've learned a lot. Watch a movie every week and write a couple paragraphs on it... super easy and super fun!

MY FAVORITE CLASS!! It was so easy, you actually need to try to fail this class because it was so easy. I loved it so much, It was overall about perspective and just your overall thoughts. So if you think of using AI, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? because it is just your thoughts. Professor Broitman was hilarious and very nice. I wish I could retake this.

Professor Broitman makes this easy humanities class fun and engaging. Assignments are straightforward, with a mix of discussion posts, projects, and quizzes. Using Unstuckstudy and the free textbook can really help with study prep for this class.

Professor Broitman is a good professor and a chill person in general. He is very lenient with the grading with a very light work load. Around 3 assignments per week with 2 projects throughout the semester. Overall I recommend this professor, just be ready to present a ton of your own thoughts and ideas.

Three assignments a week, some of them you have to watch long videos but the actual assignments are super easy. It's clear he loves what he does, because his feedback is very detailed and thorough (just like explaining his own thoughts). Topics are interesting and make you think pretty deepy. Easy class. Take him if you can.

3 assignments a week; usually a video, a discussion, and something else. There's a podcast project and then a cultural project - both of which are really easy. 3 exams. It's pretty much all your opinion, there is literally no need for AI. He gives relevant feedback. Quick to grade and reply. Pretty down-to-earth.

He literally took the whole class to Walmart for our last day!!

Very low workload and lenient grading. He shows how the humanities are valuable in your own life using engaging activities and discussions rather than boring lectures. Truly cares for his students and is always willing to go more in-depth about anything he goes over in class.

He's a funny dude and lectures are always interactive! As longs as you do the work you're going to pass-easy A. But beware he curses a lot though! :)

Documentary heavy, and he requires you to interact with the real world for the assignments. Docu reflections were just asking you what you thought and how you could connect it to the present. Overall, my favorite class and professor of all time. Very silly and made sure to provide insight to your reflections after grading.

This was an easy class; as long as you see the videos and complete the assignments, you will pass. If you are not good with watching a 1-hour-long video or big passages, this class is not for you. I recommend this class if you genuinely want to learn about the Humanities, It made me realize things about the world that I never noticed.

Most of the assignments are a completion grade, as long as you get the work done and show some sort of effort, he gives a good grade. Though he is in the middle of changing his coursework so may be different to those taking him another semester.

This is probably the best and easiest teacher I have ever had in Valencia!!! He makes his assignments super clear, and the grades are completion, so I had an A+ the entire semester. As long as you do your work, you will do great. He is also hilarious and finds a way to make his assignments not boring while still teaching new things. Take him!!

Interesting how this class started out... (ifykyk) but he "reconstructed" his online course and no complains. Easiest class you'll ever take, do your assignment and boom 100!!! He has PERSONALITY and is actually FUNNY unlike ALOT of professors at Valencia. The guy has 1 bad review and 144 good ones, stop reading and go register for his class!!! :D

Actually cares about your interest in learning.
