Very by the book as far as respect, but allows for students to take topics in every direction and create a discussion but makes sure it is related to the topic at hand. He will do whatever it takes to help you, he makes class fun and overall he's a great guy. Even if you are terrible at biology, if you put in the effort he will find a way to make you learn it!!!

If you study the information that he gives you then you will pass. Is always willing to help study before a exam. Go to his office for help because he will break all of the information down.

Prof Damiano's class was pretty easy, this is my second time taking BIO- had a dif prof before. Jeff really made things clearer. Although, do not get on his bad side he can be very sarcastic at times. Text book use is useful but all the slides are online. He does read off the slides which can be annoying at times but he does further the info

Jeff is honestly the best professor I have had at Naugatuck. He met with me every time I needed help, he explained thing over and over again to me in different ways until I understoond. It's a hard class and he does a great job at helping you understand the information. I will take him as a professor again if I ever get the chance.

Super nice guy, willing to help you if you're willing to ask for the help. Lectures are done with powerpoint slides that he has you print before class to make additional notes. Tests can be difficult, just study the material given! Class is fun, would definitely take another course with him!

Professor Damiano is incredibly relatable, easy to talk to and down to earth. He's a fair grader and let's you know exactly what will be on the exam. He's funny and makes lectures enjoyable. I took Jeff for both bio105 & A&P1. He is an amazing teacher that truly cares if you pass or not you just need to put the work in. Available if you need extra help. Goes over all material for the exams so you can have a clear review and know exactly what to study. I highly recommend taking him, wish he taught more classes I would take more with him

Don't skip class because you'll miss a bunch of material needed for exams. 5 exams and 1 cumulative final. But with dedication you can easily pass! Even offered an extra credit assignment!

He gives a detailed outline of what is on the exams- I think those who did poorly on his exams did not study at all. He grades exams faster than any professor I have had! He teaches the material while relating it to real life.

One of the best teachers Ive ever had. He will explain things over and over until you get it. The lectures have a ton of information but he makes them interactive. Most of the grades are tests, there were about 5 total + final. The information is pretty hard but as long as you go to class and ask questions youll pass. Wish he taught more classes

By far one of my favorite professors. He helps you along the way and does all he can to makes sure that you pass his class. He reviews for upcoming tests and walks you through exactly what you need to get a solid "A". I would definitely take a class with him again.

Human bio material is extremely hard , so dont get expect to get an Easy A with Jeff , you have really study hard and he reviews for each exam but doesnt give us a review sheet. Wish he gave extra credit opportunities his test are worded hard .

I took his 3 hour lecture then 3 hour exam class once a week. Great teacher, I did miss a few classes and felt a little lost just because there's so much material for once a week. Haven't score lower then an 80 and did not overly study. Great personality and goes over exactly what's on the tests. Loves his essay questions so answer thoroughly.

I had no interest in bio but Jeffs class is inspiring. Hes an amazing professor hes funny, smart and tough but only because he wants you to learn the material. Study for tests. I didn't learn anything in this class. And honestly, you can just randomly participate at times. He doesn't really care as long you get the work done. And don't plagiarize (he's big on that) all the answers are in the online textbook (that you do pay for) along with the online class lab. But if you can take this class you should.

I took professor Damianos bio 115 class 3 semesters ago, followed by a&p1 and 2. I had to come back on here and tell everyone to take this class! He really sets you up to do well in the A&Ps. Most of what he teaches will show up again and I promise he does a better job explaining concepts than most professors.

Just communicate with him!Super thankful for his class. However, he goes off on right-winged political tangents which can be distracting from the actual lecture.

Took Biology over the summer as a prerequisite to A & P I. I felt his lectures were adequate and tests weren't to bad. Labs were interesting.

So knowledgeable about the information and actually cares about his students. You have to go to class or you will fail there is a decent amount of content so its easy to fall behind. There is no reason anyone should fail his class everything he teaches is relevant to exams he won't waste your time. Couldn't recommend him enough he is the best.

Took a shortened summer semester with this professor and he gave a "No BS Guide" of biology. He was quick with topics and well educated in the units he covered. The shortened semester made it harder to learn the units but he provided study guide prep work to know what to study. He made it simple and easy, did not offer extra credit, grade curves.

Professor J.dawg one of the best profess I've had, He literally made classes fun and easy to comprehend and will repeat himself a million times just don't make him lol. I went from doing dog water in his class to actually passing which sys a lot I have a squirrel brain.

I have taken professor Damiano for 2 semesters straight right now. I passed a&p 1 with and A- and it was only because of his teaching. He made coming to a 9:30am class something I actually looked forward too. He tell you exactly what questions he will be asking on exams which makes studing 10x easier. He is also super funny and easy to talk to!

This professor is really good at what he do. He makes you think critically and dig deeper. He do not accept surface levels answers. Overall, I enjoyed this class and would take him again for A&P.
