As long as your in class sober an A
So easy! His lectures can get boring but he is really nice and his test questions are straightforward.
Great prof, easy to understand.
Very fair and straightforward. His lectures are organized well and go right along with the book.
Kind soul
His lectures go right with the book. He is easy to follow and the tests are decent
His lectures go right with the book. He is easy to follow and the tests are decent
Test aren't too difficult as long as you pay attention in class and take notes.
Dr. Edwardson is a brilliant man who loves economics and the class is really easy just read the book and do the suggested problems from the syllabus. I missed most of the lectures and still made an A.
He is easy (20-25) and gives out good notes. I would definelty read the book. He sometimes talks to himself and is a bit hard to understand his mumbling (but only sometimes). In general though he is a good prof.
Really intelligent and entertaining lectures. I read the book before every test and did fine. I always willing to answer questions after class and really helpful.
Really good prof. Got a B. Pretty cool though. Easy only if you read the book and actually take notes.
This Professor is great. He uses a condensed version of the book that is very easy to read and gives good notes. He has 3 tests and an optional final that are all easy (multiple choice). I highly recommend this professor.
Awesome professor. He's very helpful and funny. His lectures are kind of boring and the tests are slightly difficult, but as long as you take good notes, read the book and do all of the practice problems he assigns you should do very well.
Makes Econ easy
Amazing professor, he explains everything really well and he is really funny. He always puts some jokes into his lecture. Exams are quite easy, even if you don't attend class, if you read the book and study, the exams shouldn't be a problem.
Tests are easy if you study. He often goes over the material he will put on the test the class before. Great prof! I would definitely take another class from him.
Professor Edwardson is pretty good at what he does. He made microeconomics interesting and used real world examples to explain concepts more clearly. His only grades consist of 4 tests and your lowest is dropped at the end of the semester. He teaches straight from the book, I stopped attending class and just read the book and made an A.
Edwardson is just a cool guy all around. You can tell he loves economics and is always applying economics to modern day examples so that we can understand them. tests are a little tough though
Dr. Edwardson is an amazing professor. He teaches with clarity and reading the book isn't very useful. Seriously, just study and review his notes a lot. He's test can be tricky but doable. I didn't do so good on my first test but after I started to study just his notes instead of everything, I started doing better. Highly recommended prof.
Took Professor Edwardson for ECON202 and loved him! All the material on tests come right from the book and his lectures basically recap that! He will work with you on anything you need help with; he cracks jokes too; 3 tests, no homework, no quizzes and he curves for sure. If you like the 3 exam grades, you dont have to take final - he's awesome!
he's the only reason i passed econ. he puts everything into terms that are easily understandable and relatable, giving lots of real world examples to help you understand the concept. tests basically follow his notes from class so you need to go. haven't opened my textbook once and have an A. final is optional and can replace your lowest test grade.
Edwardson is a funny teacher who does a good job teaching the stuff. His explanations in class are clear. Some of the test questions are vague, but he is one of best Econ professors you can get. He has an optional final that replaces your lowest test grade.
Took Professor Edwardson about two years ago and he still to this day is one of my favorite professors! He is so easy to talk to and is always willing to help. He told a joke about ground coffee and it is now one of my favorites to tell friends. Will give you easy real life examples. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!
Moves very fast in lectures so if you miss something its gone.
Dr. Edwardson is a great lecturer! He is truly willing to help his students and clearly lets his students know what is going to be on the test. It is evident that he cares for his students and he is a super sweet and funny guy. If you are taking ECON 202, he is the only choice. Best prof I've had. If you study the notes, you should get an A.
I liked him! He was interested in econ and serious about getting his material across to his students. There were some really difficult parts, but generally if you do your part (attend lecture and study hard) then you will do well. He is open to clarifying things during or after class, and can break down difficult concepts with tangible examples.
Extremely good professor. No required homework but does give optional homework for practice. He lectures really well and make the information easy to understand. Only had 3 exams and the final replaces one of the exam grades.
Favorite professor at A&M
Best professor at a&m. Great guy, and hilarious. TAKE DR. EDWARDSON
Best ECON professor I had in undergrad. Wonderful class that balanced difficulty with content Making an A is attainable for anybody who puts in effort.
As long as you show up for class and take detailed notes, you can get an A in this class. If you are happy with your grade based on the first three tests you don't have to take the final! Would take this course again, it was very interesting and Prof Edwardson is hilarious
He's AMAZING! His class isn't a blow off class, but he definitely explains and teaches it so that you understand it extremely well. He's really sweet and you can tell he's happy to be there. I loved coming to this class!
He is super funny and very easy to follow along during lectures. He doesn't do normal powerpoint slides and really takes his time to allow students time to understand the material.
He is the best professor that I've had here at A&M. Im going to take him again next semester. Easy to understand and a great person!
Great Prof, and very aware that most people are there because they have to. Tests are very straightforward if you review old exams from 4.0 and go , do SI worksheets, and do the optional HW. I missed class ocassionaly and it was no big deal, just review all that material the night before test and you should be okay. I should get an A in the class.
He's an awesome professor and I am so exited to be able to take him again!
He is a great professor, he is super funny and tries his best to make economics interesting by giving good (& memorable) examples in class. There's 3 exams and then an optional cumulative final, his exams can be a little tricky but they are fair. You have to get my Econ Lab to do well, that helps a lot for practice. He is the best prof for econ.
Jeff is pretty great. Beware, his lectures make it seem like the tests will be a breeze. The tests are actually kind of hard. Do the MyEconLab stuff, study hard. It's not an easy A but it is definitely doable if you know how to study. SI sessions are super helpful. Only 3 tests and an optional final, no other grades. So make each one count.
He is a very clear and concise professor. Along with his SI, they offered a lot of outside help, that without, I would not have gotten an A. He was very honest and an overall good teacher. Lectures can get boring though!
If you are in his ECON 202 class, just show up and read the book once, that class was a breeze. His ECON 311 class is more difficult, study hard for that one, read the book multiple times for that class. He is funny and nice. Tests are the only graded thing so focus on them about a week and a half out.
BEST PROFESSOR AT A&M
take this professor, he's very straightforward, gives a very detailed outline of what to study for the exam and only puts content on tests directly from lectures so as long as you are present in class you'll do well
Good professor, really liked his teaching methods.
DO NOT BUY THE ECONLAB ACCESS CODE! It was such a waste of money I did not use it the whole semester & I have been getting A's on my exams. Just read textbook & go to lectures, & GO TO SI's & you will get an A, if you apply yourself. There is only 3 exams and optional final
Awesome prof! Super funny guy and explains with relatable examples. The tests are doable but definitely buy the MyEconLab and read the textbook. 3 tests and an optional non-cumlative final. No homework so study a lot for the exams. Not an easy A but a really cool class.
I really liked Edwardson. He was nice and tests weren't awful. The only grades in the class are tests. There are three with an optional final. Don't even think about extra credit- there is none. I only went to tutoring a few times. You do need to study to do well on his tests.
He is a great teacher with good lectures. He cares about your grades, and makes the class fun to go to. The only grades are tests, but the final replaces your lowest one, so it's not too bad. By far the best teacher I had first semester.
Entire class is 4 grades: 3 tests and a final. Then he takes your best 3 and that's your grade. Which means the final is optional if you averaged an A on your 3 exams. Book is optional, I used it sometimes when I skipped class. But his lectures reflect the test very well. The SIs are also very helpful. If you pay attention and put in work, A.
He lectures the whole class and writes down the important information for you to copy and study. If you attend class you should do well, as he explains the information and questions very well during lecture. There are four exams that have questions solely based on lecture, so highly recommended you attend class.
I love Edwardson!!! So adorable and a very good explainer. The grade is only the average of 3 test scores and an optional final can replace a grade, but that is how this class is difficult. Go to SI and the SI Test Reviews and you should do fine.
Awesome Prof! He will give you everything you need to know in his lectures. If you do the practice problems and study for the tests, it should be an easy A.
Amazing prof! His lectures were easy to follow and followed the book perfectly, so if you miss class all you need to do is read. Other than that, you don't really need to read the book, unless you're struggling. The SI sessions were super helpful too. The final is optional to replace the lowest test grade. 3 tests determine course grade.
Terrible. Everything is based on 4 exams. If you do bad on one exam drop the class. He doesn't care. He is just there to collect a paycheck.
I love this guy. I'm taking him again next semester. He's really funny and laid back. Grade is based on 3 tests but they arnt hard and no curves given. Ok so attendance isn't necessary but his test is straight from the lecture. You don't need the book unless you skip class in that case his lectures pretty much stick to the assigned chapters.
Great professor. Four tests only. No extra credit or curves. Enjoyed the class.
Go to class and study your notes for an easy B! He's a goofy guy but really loves Economics. I didn't find the textbook helpful. His tests were very similar to his class lectures and examples.
Edwardian is awesome. His tests come straight from his notes and questions are very straightforward. He lets you drop your lowest test grade if you take the final so an A is very attainable. He's very entertaining and a great teacher.
Great Prof. Easy to understand, classes are interesting, and an A if you go to class, take notes, study hard, etc. Great teacher to have as a freshman coming in to college.
Dr. Edwdardson is very good about putting things in simpler terms and slowing down when you need him too. His exams are straight forward and gives an optional final to replace your lowest test grade.
One of best profs I've had. Entire semester grade is just 3 exams + an optional final (replaces lowest exam grade). Highly recommend reading the textbook too. After i got a D my first exam i went to his office hours & he went through every one I got wrong w me to help me out - I prepped better for next one, got a high B. And the S.I. helps too !
He is an amazing professor. Lectures were very engaging and funny. His tests were not easy, but the material is interesting and not hard to study. There are 3 tests and a final, but the final is optional and can only help by replaces the lowest test grade. He is the best professor and totally worth it.
Great prof and passionate. Only graded by 4 tests and no final. In order to do well on the tests, it's best to read through the chapters covered on the exam rather than just study class notes. It's not too bad to study bc there are only 3 chs on each exam and we don't even cover the entire chapter. It's also helpful to study previous exams.
Edwardson was over all a fairly good teacher, he's a much better econ 202 teacher than 203 but the class was fairly straight forward. in 203 the class is very lecture heavy as we cover a chapter a day. reading the textbook won't do much for you other than the one question per test he throws in from the book. attend class, take good notes success.
Professor Edwardson is a solid choice for economics. He was definitely an improvement over my ECON 202 class that I had last semester. However, 4.0 and Go is definitely needed to get an A as the practice exams they have help A LOT. There are 4 tests with an optional final which is a bonus too.
edwardson really is a nice guy. however, his lectures aren't really helpful for the exams. go to 4.0 & Go for this class and you will get all of his exams and easily get a B.
Edwardson is very funny, and his lectures are always informative. I enjoyed his class much more than my 202 class, and his tests were very straightforward, as he wanted you to understand the material and never intended to trick students. Loved this class and prof, would recommend to anyone! Final replaces the lowest test, that helped a lot!!!!
Jeff is great! It's an easy class if you take it seriously. Your grade is only made up of the three exams and the optional final can be taken to replace your lowest test grade. The exams can be a little tough so be sure to prepare for them. If you study hard and really understand the material you'll get an A for sure.
Only 3 tests, but an optional final replaces the lowest one. Will not round your grade at all! 89.4% is an A under no circumstances. Do well early on so you don't have to count on taking the final.
Jeff was the man. Money & Banking is a pretty dry topic, but he explains it in a way that makes it easy to understand. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you want to do well, I would go to class. His 4 tests are not hard, and an A is very easily attainable.
I really enjoyed this course. Edwardson makes lectures entertaining and gives you all the information you need to ace the exams. Attendance is not mandatory, but it's the best source of what will be on the exam so be sure to go and take notes. If I had studied more (or at all), I definitely could've made an A.
Class consisted of four graded tests. All the test questions were very straight forward. Class attendance isn't required to pass. He posts what he writes online but I found attending class helped me make better sense of it. 4.0 and Go has his previous test which were SUPER helpful in preparing for my tests. Study the notes and you'll be just fine.
I've had Edwardian for 3 classes so far. Econ 202 and 203 were great. Econ 311 was difficult. You have four exams and that is it. He is a nice person, but his lectures can get boring. I struggled in the class a lot but it's probably because this class is definitely a weak subject for me. Also he will not bump your grade, so don't ask.
If you understand economics naturally, you should be able to pass this class. The test's are the only thing factored into your grade, so there are no quizzes or extra credit to bring your grade up. The test's ARE NOT EASY! Read the textbook and you'll probably pass.
Dr. Edwardson is possibly the best economics professor at Texas A&M. He turns the relatively dry subject of money and banking into an absolute joy. The man has a great sense of humor and knowledgeable in the area of study. Although his class isn't the easiest, I could not recommend it more.
Edwardson is overall a great professor. Your grade for this class consisted of 4 tests only, and no final. Go to class, take notes, and you should be golden. To make an A in this class although, I would go to 4.0 and go. Edwardson also slips in some humor in his lectures which made attending class enjoyable. Jeff is the man. 10/10 recommend
Read the book and write an outline before lecture. When the test approaches re-read the book, study the notes, and do the practice problems. With that you should be good. He stays after class for a while, so if you have questions go up and ask him! I did not go to 4.0 and go, but classmates said it was helpful. SI's were okay, I went for practice.
LOVED Dr. Edwardson! One of my favorite profs I've had so far! He's funny & super chill. His tests aren't too terribly hard if you read the textbook & do the practice problems he recommends. Your grade is based on 3 tests & the final is optional. He's awesome!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed Dr. Edwardson's lectures and jokes. Grade is based on 3 tests. Optional final replacing lowest exam grade. Would recommend reading book before lecture... lecture is basically condensed version of book so class was extremely helpful. I recommend SI weekly to nail down concepts. 4.0 has his past exams. More enjoyable than ECON 202 online...
Dr Edwardson is a great prof, very caring guy and has a genuine interest in his field. To get an A in this class I would recommend 4.0 and Go, theyre a pretty big help, tests arent easy but they arent difficult if youre prepared.
Loved this class! His tests weren't the easiest but you need to study your notes from lecture and the book is really helpful. I never went to 4.0 and still made a high A in the class. I recommend studying in advance for the tests and work out all the problems/graphs he talks about and assigns. The final is optional/replaces lowest test grade.
Class attendance isn't mandatory as long as you read the book and join a group chat to obtain the notes. Edwardson is a great professor, and super funny. He gave us four exams and that's it, no curves, no extra credit so if you do poorly on one you are screwed. But as long as you study hard an A isn't out of the question either.
The only things that are graded are the 3 tests and an optional final. Edwardson is the man. Often ends class early, cancelled it on April 20th, curved the class 4 points too. Just take notes over his lectures, and if you're confused on a topic then read about it in the textbook. Tests aren't difficult at all if you understand the content.
The grade for this class is only the average of three exams. That being said, Edwardson only puts what he covers in lecture on the exams. Personally his explanations confused me most of the time. The textbook puts things in much more simple terms & it made my test grade on the last exam shoot up. Optional final replaces lowest test grade at the end
Was very clear in lecture and always made sure you understood the material. Grade determined by 3 tests and final replaces lowest test grade (optional). The textbook is necessary and clears up any confusion. Is rigid with extra credit and curves.
No slideshows outside of class, and gives brief explanations in class. I had to read the book in order to understand concepts and formulas. Didn't realize this until it was too late to drop.
If you put in the effort its really easy to make an A, if you don't put in effort it's also really easy to make a B, has quizlets for all of his tests.
If you put in the work you can get an A in this class. Go to class, read the textbook and do the optional homework. There are only 3 tests and no other grades so make sure to study the material and go to SI. No extra credit but he did end up lowering the cut off for an A. Dr. Edwardson is also a really cool guy and usually lets class out early.
This class was a lot more difficult than I expected it to be going into it. Your grade is determined by the average of 4 tests based off of lectures (which are great!) There is also a book but he only uses it occasionally to show graphs/charts. Be prepared to study a lot for this course to do well, but this class is by no means impossible.
I don't know if Dr. Edwardson was boring or simply the subject of ECON 203, but this class was sometimes hard to sit through. Do the textbook problems and honestly skip the SI and go to 4.0 and go if you don't understand. The only grades you have are 3 test grades and the optional final that can only help your grade, not hurt it.
Edwardson is a solid choice for 203. Your grade is only 3 tests and the final replaces the lowest test grade if you need it. SI is useless. Go to 4.0 if you really want an A. He lets class out early a lot and attendance is not mandatory.
Professor Edwardson is an amusing professor and tries to make lectures entertaining. However, you only get graded on 3 exams and the average makes up your final grade. There is an optional final to replace the lowest grade. The exams are very detailed. Definitely recommend going to tutoring if you take this class.
Edwardson is a pretty decent prof here at tamu. I took Econ 311 and I went to probably half the lectures. 4.0 and go is a must to get a B or higher. I would spend around 6 hours studying past exams and notes and got a B. You have 4 exams and none of them can get dropped. So dont mess up the first exam like me and you can do well.
I love Dr. Edwardson! I took him for 203 and wish I could continue to take classes from him! His tests are not too difficult and he picks a helpful textbook for the class too. The material can be kind of boring but he makes the class interesting. 4 tests and the final replaces your lowest test grade. He's a great guy & one of the best econ profs!
Honestly a fantastic professor. He tells funny stories when he can, and his dorkiness is super endearing, hes basically the professor equivalent of your socially awkward uncle. Tests arent hard if you actually listen. Either copy down his notes or take pictures quickly, because once his slide is gone, its gone for good. Take him!
Absolute stud. Lets you out 15 min early every class. Has informal test review the class day before test. Grade is determined by 3 tests. There is an optional final
Great prof. and makes the content and lectures interesting. Tests are the only thing in your grade. Going to 4.0 and go makes the class a lot easier.
Mid-difficulty level. If you took econ 202 at a&m the first test is pretty much all material from that class. Grade is just the average of 3 tests, so do well on those. 4.0 & go may be worth it to make sure you know what you're doing on the test. Edwardson is a pretty good prof and explains things fairly well.
He was a funny professor. Your grade only comes from the tests. The final is optional and replaces your lowest grade if you decide to take it. His lectures are just like the textbook so you can read that before a test to refresh yourself. Go to 4.0. Over all, he was a great professor
Great prof, very funny lectures, genuinely cares about his students and the material he teaches. Only graded on three tests and an optional final exam. Not a bad class if you do the textbook readings and keep up with going to class.
Dr. Edwardson is an amazing prof, the only thing is that the 4 exams are your only grades. Read the textbook because it has very helpful graphs and tables that further explain concepts he covers in classes. Great lectures overall though, and would highly recommend you take this class.
MY FAVORITE PROF!!!! Okay here's the real tea: Jeff is a hilarious guy who truly cares about all of his students and even took it upon himself to learn all of our names. He's incredibly sweet and makes the best dad jokes. Make sure to read and give yourself plenty of time to study, because he only graded us on 3 tests. Definitely take him!!!
Dr. Edwardson never replied any of my emails. There were only 4 tests and each one of them is worth 25% of your grade. His lecture is super boring and only few people come to his class. Majority of the class attended the 4.0 which costs $40 per section! Do not recommend taking this class if you dont have to.
Edwardson is a great choice for ECON 311. He makes his lectures relevant to your life in some way and the material is extremely interesting. His lectures are not mandatory and he goes over the same material that is in the book. All you have to do to succeed is to make sure you know how the graphs and concepts are affected by changing the situation.
Such a sweet guy who really cares about his students! Always telling jokes and he almost always let us out of class early. His lectures can be a bit boring, but he has good intentions. The tests are really straightforward, he doesn't try to trick his students! So if you study and put in the effort than an A is definitely possible!
Prof Edwardson is a pretty good professor. By its nature, the subject is pretty difficult. He was able to teach it in a way that was easily understandable. Unfortunately, he is a very boring lecturer. He talks really slowly and his class drags on. His class has no homeworks and instead relies on moderately difficult tests with an optional final.
Edwardson is a great choice for Econ 203. However, you will have to work for it and show up to lectures and study chapters before a test. The tests are not the easiest, but by showing up and putting in work, they can be easy. I got an 80, 93, and 93 on the tests, and an 86 on the optional final which replaced the 80 and giving me an A in the class.
Professor Edwardson is an amazing choice for ECON 203. He a very kind person who is passionate about his class. His lectures go along with the textbook so make sure to either read the chapter before class so you can easily follow his lectures or read it afterwards to help understand the concepts better. Overall he makes the concepts easy to grasp!
literally the sweetest guy. lectures can be boring at times but he let us out almost 30 minutes early every day. graded on 3 exams, with an optional final to replace your lower grade. do the practice problems and study before the exams and you'll be fine.
Professor Edwardson has great lectures that are helpful for the tests. There are only 3 total tests, but there is an optional final that will replace your lowest test grade. The best way to succeed is to show up to class because he does a great job of explaining things. I did not even have to read the book because I showed up to every class.
Just go to lectures and take notes and you should bag an A
Loved this professor, money and banking and Econ 203 were both so much fun. He is a really great lecturer and loves what he does, most importantly he has an amazing sense of humor.
This class consists of 12 quizzes and 2 get dropped. The quizzes are very easy and I averaged a high A on every quiz. Highly recommend this prof.
Posts video lectures, readings, and one quiz over each chapter. 12 total quizzes, but he drops lowest 2, so 10 quizzes worth 10% of total grade each. As long as you stay on top of the due dates he gives, this class is pretty easy. If you enjoy finance or banking then its an interesting and great class to take.
I had Edwardson twice now, he always has a very forgiving curve and he's so sweet. Since this class was all online he did 12 quizzes and dropped the lowest two. The quizzes are usually on quizlet too! He also accepted quizzes late with a deduction. If taking him online be sure to set reminders for quizzes or you may end up missing an easy A.
Professor Edwardson was well organized: he sent out emails each Monday explicitly stating what we were expected to do that week. He is so passionate when teaching and loves to answer questions! He also went the extra mile to bring us some great guest speakers to enhance our learning experience. Made sure to get him again for macro (econ 203)!
I'm convinced that Dr. Edwardson is the nicest person ever. Open book tests, but timed to where you had to know what was going on or you wouldn't make an A. I'm pretty sure I actually ended up with an 87, however, he curved my grade up to an A. He is so sweet and caring and told us every class about how amazing we were and how proud of us he was.
He is super sweet and very easy-going. There were no tests only a weekly quiz. Deadlines were super lenient and you also get the 2 lowest quiz grades dropped at the end of the semester. He posts the lectures and then uses class time to answer questions and do practice problems. Highly recommend!
The grade is 12 quizzes, and he drops the lowest two. The quizzes are really easy if you watch his lecture videos and skim the book. Prof is really nice and his dog is super cute! I recommend taking him at all costs!! If you do the work, it is an easy A! Especially compared to ECON 202, this class is a walk in the park.
The class consisted of 11 quizzes (2 of which he drops). He posted the lectures online and on zoom he would go over practice problems from the textbook. The quizzes were due on Friday but he didn't take any points off as long as you turn it in by Monday. I think the class consisted of only quizzes because of it being online so keep that in mind.
Genuinely such a great and caring professor. We were graded off of 9 quizzes, and most of the content came straight from his lecture videos, with maybe a few questions overall coming from the textbook. Attending his class helps for locking in the content/understanding the content. Gives you everything you need to succeed, highly recommend!!
Such a sweet prof & cares about the success of his students. Only grades we had were 12 quizzes, but he drops the lowest 2. Posts lectures online & uses class time to go over material again & answer questions. Gives you multiple days to take quizzes & is understanding. Textbook wasn't required but can help. Overall, very easy A.
I'm not going to lie, I went to the first Zoom lecture of the semester, and when he said only join the Zoom if you have questions in the future, I never went to another one. But the class is very easy, graded by 12 quizzes and he drops the lowest 2 or 3. From what I've heard, he is a very sweet guy who cares about his kids but I never talked to him
Prof Edwardson is absolutely amazing. His lectures were not attendance mandatory, but they were super helpful and you can tell he cares a lot about the class and your success in it. There were no tests, only quizzes and he drops your lowest two scores. This class taught me a lot and made me interested in a subject I used to hate.
Prof Edwardson was such a kind professor! He was very helpful and does his best to make sure every student is understanding the concepts. His note lectures/ videos were very well made and useful for the quizzes given. I would definitely recommend him as your ECON 203 teacher
There are just three exams (Fall 2021). He does explain things well, although his lectures can be monotonous. The class is complex but with a little bit of work you can get that B. Getting an A with him is ambitious.
I took the honors section and I feel like it was way harder than it should've been. Your course grade was based on 2 exams and your final, so if you do bad on one it is extremely hard to bring your course grade up. There wasn't any extra credit offered and the "TA" we had was non existent. We only saw him on exam days.
The class is a lot easier to get an A in then prior semesters but you have to work for it. The class only has 3 tests and no extra credit. If you put in the work to study the material and ask questions if you are confused than you can easily make an A. Super nice and one of my favorite profs ever.
Professor Edwardson is a great professor. He is very thorough and answers the classes questions well. He does not provide many practice problems but he teaches the material very well. He also does not try to trick you on the test and tells you specifically what to study for it.
Edwardson is a great professor and knows Economics very well. Tests can be rough but econ has always been a tough subject for me to grasp. Unfortunately he only had 3 exams and no extra credit but he counts your highest test score twice. He was generous enough to curve me from a mid D to a C! Great guy, just wish we had more to be graded on.
The three exams are the only grades in the class. Lectures were videos from previous semesters and class time was used for questions. Very little practice problems given for the exam, and the exams are more complicated than the practice problems. He teaches right out of the textbook though. Having a study group is very useful.
The class was not very time-consuming until test week since there was no homework, but it was very hard to study for the tests with limited practice problems. Be sure to understand the few practice problems given like the back of your hand. He did grade leniently and give a curve.
Absolutely love him, hes really knowledgeable and sweet. He was extremely accommodating when it came to covid and he always posted his lectures. The subject isnt easy but isnt hard. Definitely study the easy notes flash cards and chapter reviews.
I've had prof. edwardson for 3 courses at A&M and his style is the same. Lectures and exams only. You can use the book as supplemental information, but focus mainly on his lecture points. He provides extra practice problems via email and quickly responds to questions. He also offers 2 dates to take each exam b/c covid. 3 exams and best counts twice
study the easy note cards those help.
Best economics professor at A&M. Absolutely take him for money and banking. It's a very interesting class and isn't hard.
The only grades for this class is three 3, and if you aren't happy with your grade the final is optional but it is accumulative. test are easy and he holds a review sesh and goes over every question that is on the exam. Goo teacher but you have to do good on the test because they are the only grades. Take him!
Edwardson's lectures are fairly boring and only partially helpful. I found that the textbook often did a much better job of explaining. Grade consists of 3 moderately difficult exams and an optional final that replaces your lowest test grade, so make sure to study the concepts and formulas. Test averages in the class were around 80-85.
Jeffrey edwardson is the GOAT. I wish I could have taken him for 311.
Such a good explainer and really presents the content in a way that you can understand. Only grades are the exams but they are very easy if you study the material before hand. He even has a review day with everything that will be on the exam. Best prof ever.
Professor Edwardson is such a kind professor. His exams were easy and there weren't any trick questions on them. Everything was straightforward. His lectures moved pretty fast, but if you read the textbook before going to class you'll be good to go.
This class was my first C in college. Class consisted of 4 exams with the best 3 being your grade averaged. Essentially 3 exams worth 33.33. This made it difficult if you are not a good test taker. That was legit it. Go to class if you want take notes take the exam.
He was gracious enough to allow me to take the final, after I overslept. I haven't met another professor that would offer the same. Great fella!
LATE review: I took this class in like 2019. Absolutely loved this class and this professor.
