Very easy class no reason to fail if come to class.

I wish more teachers were like Jeff. He made class so fun and exciting. Very motivational and happy go lucky attitude topped off with a one of a kind personality. I always looked forward to his class.

Very funny guy. Class flew by. Keeps the whole class involved. I heard speech is a little harder with him, but this class was pretty easy. I would recommend him to anyone. The most enjoyable class I've taken at SAC! :)

Everyone should take Interpersonal Communication.Jeff makes the class really apply to everyone's life. He is such a fun and cool teacher! This was the best elective I have taken in college!

Jeff is freaking awesome! not only is he a great teacher. he is a cool guy. get to hang with him cuz of PTK. he is so dedicated, genuinely happy and makes u want to go to class. will bend over backward to help u. the coolest middle aged guy i know.

He is AWESOME! He is one of THE BEST teacher I ever had. Very cool, fun, motivating, nice, and everything good. I always looked forward to going to class; the man should be a standup comic. And of course, he's an EXCELLENT professor. I have not met anyone who doesn't love him.

There need to be more teachers like Jeff Hunt. Even on a bad day, he always had a smile that radiated energy and enthusiasm. Very approachable, very personable, and welcoming of all discussion, no matter how off-topic the class would get (thankfully, it always tied in with the lesson somehow).

Jeff was the funniest teacher I have ever had. He is very into Pop Culture and time flies when you are in his class. If you read the text it's a guaranteed A I read part of it and I got an A. The best part is that he tells you exactly what is going to be on the tests and gives plenty of extra credit opportunities throughout the semester.

KEEPS YA AWAKE! His tests are easy, it's all about memorizing the material and regurgitating it. During the summer, it goes real fast. Be prepared to perform two of the worthies speeches in less than two weeks. PRACTICE those speeches and don't go over time because major points are deducted. Have control of your legs and have good visuals.

Awesome teacher. Works with you if you're shy and helps you get over it. Tests are based on notes, so take good notes and you'll be fine.

He's the best teacher you can ever take!!!

Jeff is a fun teacher who will keep you awake and involved. Plenty of chances for extra credit - Tests are memorization - 3 speeches required. He is fun even though he has a tendency to praise liberalism and hate Bush.

Hunt is a great professor. Don't worry, he helps you alot not to feel nervous. I took him in the summer and he is extremely credible!!! Very humorous guy and respectful. I recommend him.

Took the Prof Spch class. GUY IS HILARIOUS!!! Made some really boring material really interesting. All tests and everything needed comes straight from his notes. DONT go overtime and just do ur work...easy class.

I took Personal Communication and it was a very easy class... it was a speech credit but not nearly as stressful as a full-on speech class. It was very entertaining and interactive... it required minimal studying. He's always 10 minutes late so you probably won't catch a tardy.

I always went over on my topics but he didn't really take that many points off. He is very helpful on the speeches and his notes are literally the tests. He tells you what to study and that is what is on the test. But don't expect to get out of class early because it rarely happens. Overall, he is AWESOME!

I went over on two out of the four speeches and managed a B on those two because I went over. Take notes because that is what the midterm and final material come from...literally. Overall, he was pretty laid back and made it a comfortable course.

Most AMAZING instructor! He is one of the easiest instructors,and all of his work is fun and easy. Very funny guy, and really understanding about everything. Always on point, and organized. He's an exciting person and fills his room with a fun/non-boring feeling. We had NO use of textbooks, and he can really elaborate on his stuff. HIGHLY recommend

Jeff's just a blast; Oral Interp is a hard class for some, but for the majors, he kept it lively and spirited.

All i can say is AWSOME!!! I went to his 0700 summer II class and he was full of energy to keep the class awake. Didnt make us buy the book. Just do the assigned work and you will pass. NO LAZY PEOPLE. Tests...well they are tests, so study but they are not hard. I cant say enough positive things about J. Hunt just wish all my teachers were like him

Jeff is a very animated, engaging man! I took speech 1315 over the summer and i dreaded speaking I would freak out but Jeff helped each of his students GROW as speakers. He made class very fun and interactive,I really recommend Jeff to anyone who would like to gain beneficial skills for communication and he also gives extra credit!

Prof Hunt is great & easy to work with. Took this class online/flex. Watched videos & turned in couple of assignments. Grading was confusing & some students thought he was tougher on some. Group assignment was hard to coordinate team mates showing up to do their part. Fun & very interactive prof. Responds quickly.

The best teacher EVER!!! Let me say this Jeff is an amazing teacher and an amazing man, I am still in his class right now, and when I am in there what I say matters and he is always clear about what he wants. It really sucks that I can only take him once because if I could take him again I would.

Jeff is an amazing professor. He knows his professional speech skills. If you do not getting up in front of a class, take his class. You have to do four speeches, but getting up in front isn't too hard. He makes it comfortable to speak in front of others. I would recommend taking him to others. You do not need a text book for his course!

Professor Hunt cares about his work, video records his lectures for his online "scholars", he gives excellent feedback, he has a great sense of humor. Follow instructions, put your best foot forward, show up and do the work, you'll easily pass his class. I'd definitely work with Professor Hunt again. I've overcome my fear of public speaking.

Jeff (he prefers first name) was an AMAZING professor. He is understanding and truly cares for his students. He sets great expectations with what to expect, is clear in his communications and grading, and is very fair.

Enjoyed his class and while the class was online you still had to meet up a few times during the semester to give your speeches. He gave wonderful feedback and his lectures were great because he used topics that were relevant and used humor to keep the lecture upbeat. I would definitely take him again.

Let me tell you something folks, easy easy, easy A+ . Only like less than 5 hours of your time a week, it help me focus more time in my calc3, differntial equations, university physics in one semester, it feels like I've never taken class. lol. Jeff is a phenomenal proffesor.

Jeff was a great professor and very approachable. He made speech less intimidating. He was very understanding of personal lives and conflicts that came up. I feel like he was very fair in grading and I actually learned a bit more about professional communication!

Lectures are videos on Canvas, great to respond to emails, really outgoing personality. One problem is that he OPENLY critiques your presentation in front of everyone in the class. If you are comfortable with constructive criticism in a surrounding like that, then it should be no problem. If not, don't take the class.

I have to say speech has been my fear my whole life basically. I dont even like doing the dumb ice breakers that some professors make you do at the first day of school. But man Jeff has really made me feel open to this. I mean Im not a pro. But I have to say hes taken a lot of the fear of public speaking away from me. Take him hes AWESOME!

Awesome professor! He gives very good feedback and is very personable. All lectures are online, just make sure you do the few assignments and discussions.

Jeff was a good teacher straight to the point, Online assignments were very easy. There was three mandatory show ups in class to present. As long as you try when presenting and do the work you will pass.

I took his online class which required only meting 3 times in campus, he is a great professor. He gives feedback in front of all the class but he tell you what you need to work on a lil more. He is funny also.

Mr. Hunt is someone who deeply respected in his field. He does give homework, but not "a lot". He's definitely accessible outside class so feel free to contact him. Participation does matter since you'll be in his class three times (3 presentations) There was a group project. He's hilarious and definitely caring. Oh, and extra credit is a must!

Jeff was great! I took this class for second part of summer. He is really funny and you can tell he loves what he does. You do have a group project and three online speeches to do. Not bad if you can get in a group that communicates well. I would take him again in a heartbeat!

Jeff was fantastic!!!! The class was hilarious and interactive! The speeches and assignments were all fairly easy. Even if you are not a public speaker it really is painless. Just don't miss class, you need to be there to get the steps for each speech.

Took his class for Maymester and really enjoyed it! His video lectures are very educational as well as funny. He definitely makes this class fun. As long as you take notes and do your speeches you can make an easy A! For this class we had to do 3 recorded speeches. Overall, really awesome teacher! You definitely wont regret taking this class.

Jeff is amazing! Do your work, and you'll pass. He gives you excellent feedback to improve your skills as a public speaker. I thought I would have a difficult time as I'm shy, but I truly enjoyed his class and thoroughly feel like I can go out and speak to a crowd with no issue.

Jeff is a really nice guy. I took him for a 5 week online summer course, but I'm sure he'd be great in person. He is a generous grader; he focuses much more on what you did right and not what you failed at. He provides feedback with every topic proposal, outline and speech. I would recommend him to anyone.

Professor Hunt gives easily understandable lectures in a personable manner, & is very understanding of technical difficulties of conducting class assignments over Zoom. I just finished this class for Business Communication & there were only online Zoom meetups so I'm curious how another online student got the idea students had to meet in person.

Took Jeff for BUSCOM and it was great! Such a fun class and he makes it very personable. I kept raving about how much I loved this class to my friends and how great of a professor Jeff is. We had to do 3 video presentations and he definitely focuses on where you can improve rather than what you did wrong. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Professor Hunt was a delight! So much so that I'm writing this review a semester after taking him. I'm not the best at public speaking but taking this class made me feel more confident and comfortable. Great feedback and fun assignments! Highly recommend.

Jeff is an awesome professor!! I took his Public Speaking online flex course which is why I gave the level of difficulty a 4. There are 4 speeches that are assigned and 3 of them need an audience of 5 people either in person or on zoom. A full outline of your speeches need to be turned in before your speech and they take time to do. Very doable!

There are three speeches that are to be given including a group persuasive speech. He's fair and funny and real easy to talk to. Use a lot of hand gestures and look at the camera when you are speaking and you'll make an A.

I am not a fan of speeches and not good with technology. This Maymester class had 3 speeches, recorded in front of 3 people and required to be uploaded to youtube. His way of teaching is very easy to understand. He is funny & very down-to-earth. The assignments are very detailed.

Great professor, he gives great feedback and actually engages into what your speech is over. Gives alternatives for students who aren't able to gather audience members and is willing to work with you.

This class was so great Prof Hunt was super hands on and super interactive with his students. Gave great detailed feedback - HIGHLY recommend taking his courses.

Mr Jeff is an amazing teacher and is very clear with his lectures, you will have 4 big speeches and those are what your grade is made of! Definitely recommend him! He is a quick responder and always answers questions!

He is an awesome professor. He gives a lot of homework due to his class is a flex 2 so it was a short class. He does assign group projects which in my opinion it was difficult but he helps his students out with any question they have.

Mr. Jeff is very nice and communicative, but I don't think I would take his 5 week course again if given the opportunity. The very end is loaded with a lot of assignments, and speeches in general make me very nervous, so I didn't feel like I got enough time to prepare beforehand. In a regular paced class, I think this course would be perfect.

Great Professor, procrastinators beware.He is fair and understanding and he gives great feedback if you email him. As long as you inform him that your gonna be late on a homework assignment he'll understand but don't expect full credit. Quizzes/Midterm and finals are easy, lecture notes are the key.

Jeff was awesome! Everyone always hates public speaking but the online class was really fun! Group projects and a few speeches and you're done. He really cares and wants you to succeed. He will so everything he can to make sure ou pass and leave a smarter scholar. Take him if you wanna have a fun class.

Professor Hunt was great this semester! I took speech online due to scheduling issues, and had to take the full semester class to help with my other classes, schedule around them. The class was easy. 3 big speeches you have to do, 2 of them are group projects. Just follow the stuff on the lectures he puts in CANVAS and you're good to go.

I usually don't write these reviews, but I had to for this professor. The class is pretty easy, even though I took it over the summer and it was 5 weeks long instead of the usual 8 weeks. There weren't that many assignments, and he gives really good feedback that helps you improve on your speeches. He's funny too which makes the class more engaging

Amazing and encouraging professor. Make sure to read the rubric when completing assignments. I took his course during the summer, 5 weeks. Most of the work I turned in, he would leave comments to help me do better on my next speech. 2 speeches w/out audience. 1 speech with audience (3 audience of your choosing),1 mock interview and 1 group speech.

Professor Hunt was awesome! I took this class online as a summer course it was fast-paced but it was laid out very well! I would take his class again. He has lecture videos for all his modules. There was 1 major group project which was easy, and two tests. He is very fun and nice I recommend him to anyone looking for a good speech professor.

Prof Hunt was one of the best prof I have ever had. He was very easy to get a hold of. I took this as a winter class and it was a lot of work but worth it. Prof Hunt was very on top of grading and had canvas set up in a great way. Take Prof Hunt if you can!

Loved this prof. I took him on zoom and it was surprisingly fun and easy for a speech class, he was super nice too def take him if you have the option.

I wish that had taken him in-person and for a full semester, because I really enjoyed his class. He was funny, encouraging, understanding, and a fair grader. Recording your speeches kinda sucked, but the assignments were not hard. I'm disappointed that I took it online, however I definitely would recommend this professor and class to anyone.

I thought he was great! However, we had to do a few too many group assignments that could have very well been done individually. I also think that his feedback shouldn't be given while on zoom in front of other people. He never said anything bad about anyone it was just a little harsh and embarrassing for my group members.

If you need to take Speech 1315, take this professor! Not only is he hilarious and understanding but he truly cares about his students succeeding in his course. The speech assignments, for an online course, were extremely easy and actually fun to do. I very much enjoyed his class and learned a lot about becoming a better public speaker.

Actually a phenomenal teacher. Very disarming, and actually goes out of his way to help you and provide really good feedback. I am diagnosed with autism and I was scared to take this course in person. After seeing his humor and passion in all his videos he made for the course so you wouldnt have to read, I would say he stands out. 10/10 Teacher!

Professor Hunt is truly passionate about what he does. He gives great feedback on all assignments and wants you to succeed. I learned a lot about this class and I am thankful I was able to take it online. He provides all the information you need and a lot of resources. I highly recommend this professor!

I took an 8week flex course and it was awesome there is only two speech recordings you have to present for your big assignments and the third one is on zoom he will brake you up in groups and have an assignment the next day about what you learned. He cares about participation, if you do the work there is no way you wont pass this class.

You can tell he really cared about us learning the material to help us grow in the future. He is NOT condescending, he will call you out on mistakes but gives great feedback on how you personally can become a better speaker. I wish I took this as a flex course. Personally, it kind of felt like the 16 week course had a lot of filler assignments.
