Senor K. is always willing to help you with any questions or confusion you might have. He is very clear and detailed in his explanations and is always positive and encouraging, even when I made mistakes. Really encourages students to use the language and experience the culture.

Wow! If I would have had a prof like Sr. K. at my last college, I would have stuck with Spanish. I had to take it here at IUN as part of my degree program and I was looking forward to it at all, but Sr. K's approach is so encouraging that it makes you want to learn and improve. Excellent prof. and I am taking his S200 course too.

Awesome job, especially for an online class. I was a little worried about taking a language class online but Prof. Kubaszyk did it like no one I have had before. Weekly video announcements, video lectures, and even gave us his cell phone number if we needed to get a hold of him with a question or concern. I highly recommend him.

Excellent class and excellent professor. Sr. K. knows exactly what he is doing and makes it a point to provide clear and concise lectures and answer any and all questions students may have. I will definitely be taking my next Spanish class with him.

Senor K. really cares about whether or not his students understand and progress throughout the course. He repeatedly checks for understanding in class and constantly asks for anyone who does not understand something to let him know so he can help them. I really did not like Spanish at all, especially after I took S100, but it is required for my graduation so I had to take it. A friend recommended Prof. K. and so I took his class and WOW. What a difference it has made. I actually felt inspired to learn the language and he encouraged me and everyone in the class.

After 4 yrs. of high school Spanish, I was already pretty good with the basics and this class covered a lot of what I already knew, BUT, I was not prepared for such an awesome prof. I learned a lot that I did not learn in high school or S100. Sr. K. is excellent at teaching and helping everyone understand the material. I recommend him.

This guy is the real deal. I loved his class and wish I would have had him for the classes prior to 250. Detailed in explanations, creates easy ways for you to remember the rules and concepts, breaks things down so that they are not so overwhelming. Best of all, he cares about whether or not you learn. Highly recommended!

Took this class because it was required for my degree. Prof. K was super good. There is a lot of homework to do online in the My Spanish Lab but there is a definite purpose for it. You need to practice and master the concepts. Prof. K. was available all the time to answer my texts and emails. Extremely involved and helpful prof.

This professor is not only well versed in the subject but also KNOWS HOW TO TEACH. This made all the difference because a lot of profs just lecture and drone on and on, but Sr. K. actually teaches, interacts with the class, checks for understanding constantly, and really cares about whether or not you learn the material. I highly recommend him.

As a native speaker, I have an advantage in most Spanish classes, but what was great about this class was that Prof. K. was able to help me better understand how the language works & why it does what it does in terms of the grammar. On top of that, I learned that despite being a native speaker, I made a lot of errors with my Spanish. Great Prof.

No prof. in an online class has ever helped me as much as Senor K. He allowed us to email, text or call him WHENEVER we had a question/problem with the material or homework. I've taken several online classes & no prof. has ever been as accessible as Sr. K. He also created weekly videos for his students & recorded lectures too. Awesome Prof.!

Made me really care about how I did in his class because he cared about my progress. I really improved my Spanish because Sr. K. was willing to meet with me and help me out with my deficiencies. I was behind ability-wise and was able to make up a lot of ground because he tailored some explanations of confusing grammar points just for me.

Very clear expectations and most importantly, made me feel like even though my Spanish was not the best, I still had the ability to communicate in the language even if I made errors along the way. Now I am a lot more confident in attempting to use my Spanish language skills. I'm not perfect, but I am a lot more confident thanks to Prof. K.

I was just taking the course to fulfill degree requirements but after taking this class with Senor K., I decided to pursue the minor in the language. Senor K. helped me to see that I did have viable skills with the language and that I could use it as a resource in my career.

This was a great class. I did not get a very good grade (C+), but that was my fault because I did not do all the homework that was required. Regardless, the professor is great and classes are interesting and interactive. I feel a lot better about my Spanish now.

If you do not procrastinate and you do what is required you will learn a lot and if you ever need help, Prof. K is there to assist you. Great professor.

My Spanish got better in this course. The professor really forced us to participate. Everyone made mistakes & that was expected & ok because the real focus was on just trying to communicate as much as possible in the language and be understood. I was intimidated at first, but after 30 minutes of realizing mistakes were okay, we were all fine.

I learned a tremendous amount about Spanish from this guy's class, but most important to me is that my reading and listening comprehension improved.

Best Spanish course I have ever taken.

Loved the fact that this prof. was really able to help me improve my Spanish writing skills. This was always a weakness for me, but he worked with me, one on one, online, via Skype and Face Time, and it made a world of difference.

This was the third class I took with this prof. Do I need to say anything else. He is outstanding.

Took this course in the summer so it was accelerated and intense, but Sr. K. still made it doable and a worthwhile learning experience. Super Spanish professor.

This was my first ever online class and first ever language class. This combination can be demanding, or at least it was for me, but professor K was willing to help with any issue I had. He even went as far as to meet with me on campus for almost 2 hours to help with some of the things I was struggling with. Wonderful prof.

I am a native speaker, so this class was easy for me. I should have tested out of it, but that does not mean I did not learn anything. My writing in Spanish was pretty poor and this class helped me to improve that a lot. Prof. K really cares and makes it a point to help you improve from start to end.

Lots of online work that the university makes all Spanish students do so I can't hold that against prof. K. Regardless, he did make it a point to check in with me and the other students regularly to offer his assistance if we had a need for it. Nice to have a teacher that loves to teach.

I found the class pretty easy because I had taken 4 years of Spanish in high school and I have lived in Mexico for a few years. My reading comprehension and writing skills improved though and that was great for me because I will be needing these skills after graduation.

Even though this was an online class, this professor still provided video lectures and video notes for all the students. It was really like being in an on campus class without actually being there. Very good prof.

There is a lot of online homework activities in the My Spanish Lab program, but that is more a dept. requirement than a prof. requirement, and additionally, I expected more homework considering the class does not meet and do work together like an on site class. Loved the prof. He was very encouraging and had excellent video lessons.

I had zero confidence in my Spanish skills when I started this class, but once I got Prof. K. as my instructor, all that changed. A very good language professor especially for being online. Assignments were very clear and on theme. Quizzes and tests matched the assignments very well. He is very caring about his students learning Spanish and always offers additional help if needed. I would definitely recommend him!
