he is the greatest teacher ever!! and very funny!!

I don't know what the last person was smoking but anyway. Professor lax's class was extremely easy. He jokes a lot and keeps you interested in what he is teaching. Recommened to all!

Great proffessor, very funny, and if you try at least a little you will have an A, if i wouldn't tranfer to Baruch i would defenetly take him again.

i am not sure about him yet, since i just started this class. However, i honestly think that he should be doing something else rather than teaching at KCC... he's smarter than that...if i was him i would have my own law firm in Manhattan( which i will in the future)... Anyways, he's cool and smart- what else u want from a teacher?

If I could i'd put Lax #1 on funniest prof. page. Its been 3 weeks and i already got "married", "killed" my husband and got "prosecuted"...well, it's a rule u either die or kill in this class... :-) then, u really remember the law... IT'S ALL GOOD...

Prof lax is a cool guy, but lets face it he jokes too much in class, hardly gives notes, he trying too hard in order for people to like him, if you care about your grade, then obviously he is not the right guy.

Ridiculously awesome. He's entertaining in a way that makes you actually learn the subject. I really don't understand how anyone could fail his class.

He is real cool, down to earth. His method of teaching is realistic and comprehensible to students. Most importantly he makes the subject seem that much more interesting.

Hes a very good teacher professional, and funny too. Just take notes and study for his tests and you'll do fine. No nextbook needed unless you would like to read extra.

His class was the most interesting ones of all my fall semester classes. He is a cool and funny professor and I learn a lot with him. He makes the class really interesting but his test are really tricky. If you go to class and study will pass.

Excelent professor

He is....let's say one of a kind:)...sometimes you will hate him and sometimes not- but his class is hard. You need to take a lot of notes, his questions in the exams are based on a lot of the examples he gives in class. You do need a rough skin because if you ask a question or say something wrong, he will make fun of you and crack endless jokes!

He is amazing, love his class and he is so great that i even took Law13 with him. One of the best professor at kcc. His test are hard but if u take good notes u will do great. He is funny. do not try to argue with him cause he will pick on u during all semester. But overall EXCELLENT wish there are more professors like him

His tests are hilarious and you will literally be crying from laughter reading his tests. I think he is the best...take is you will never regret it!! :))

Good professor, a bit hard and you need good notes, but you will learn a lot. Overall he's a professor on a level of senior colleges and i do recommend him, unless you dont like to write a lot of notes. Btw he gives approximately an 18 point curve =)

Senior college level professor. Requires a lot, but it makes sense. You have to attend his classes because its very hard to catch up what you missed. Overall, he is a smart and helpful if you pay attention.

He is the most hilarious professor ever! I expected much less for this class. You will see the difference between a professor with passion in teaching students n those without after taking Lax. You will learn more than the course materials. But you need to keep up and pay attention in the class. Don't cut class and study hard.

Lax is HILARIOUS. If you've always wanted a non-boring comical professor with a great sense of humor he's your guy. Plus he's very insightful and makes good analogies. Hus class isn't that hard if you pay attention.

This class was absolutely excellent. There were 2 tests and then the final. Each test was 50 questions ALL TRUE OR FALSE. You may think that's easy, but some of the questions were a little tricky. We literally never opened the textbook and never got HW. I got mid 70s on both midterms, but I got a 96 on the final so he gave me an A- Great professor.

Took his class last semester (Fall2014) Excellent professor for those who love to talk. Interacts with his students in class alot. Slightly curves his exam grades (gives 3-6 extra pts ) All exams are TrueFalse. No hw or reading assigned, just take his print out and copy notes he gives during class. Review those and you will pass 100% .

Professor Lax is mad cool. Tells jokes throughout lecture to keep you awake. He also uses his students in examples to help you remember scenarios. Tests are completely true or false. Sounds tougher than it is because he gives major curves. He gives out a packet for notes, no textbook.

The tests are true or false. I took this as a winter course and if it were any other class I would never want to make the trek from Queens to BK in the snow. He even let us start earlier and finish earlier. Best teacher at KB I had and was thankfully my last teacher there too. Plus theres no textbook he lets you print out this super helpful booklet

Lax was an amazing professor. He's the business chair so during my time with him he missed a few classes but was sure to curve our tests to make it fair. He uses real life examples and is definitely charismatic. I wish I could take him for every course! It's all lecture. NO writing on the board. Gives you a handout with all the course info you need

He gave us the outline which was extremely helpful, not many professors in colleges do that. The outline is literally everything u need to know from test 1 to final. In the outline, he organized & summarize important terms u need to know for all tests. All true/false questions which r basically common sense questions. Prof is super nice & funny
