very informative

Dr. Liang is really funny and interesting. He's very inforamtive, and has a tendancy to up a mind to beyond the normal talking or thinking subjects. His test are 100 question long, but you'll get used to it by the third one.

he is great. the subject that he teaches is interesting. attendance is important in his class but the class is not boring.

dr. jeff is hot, funny, and knows what hes talking about. if you expect to breeze through this class....don't take it...its not a freebie and you'll have to work hard! he takes this class very seriously and expects his students to do the same. super strict on attendance but i learned a lot!

He is a GREAT professor! Very interesting class! Liang provides great examples with stories of his personal life as well as with cases he has worked on. Very in the know! I recommend U take him. This class provides useful information U can apply to your life. I plan on taking his other classes.

He is a pretty good teacher but like stated he is very unfair about tardiness a minute late you are considered absent. This is very unfair to some basically the ones coming from work. He messed up alot of students grades when I took his class due to his one minute late policy you can pass all test do good in class tardy you fail come on get real.

Awsome teacher!! The class is an easy A, all you talk about is sex, most of its common knowledge. The only thing is hes a little strict with absences.

If you think this class is an easy A you are wrong. It is not extremly hard to make an A, but you must go to class every day, take notes and read the book. He is a good teacher, and his classes are very interactive. He is quite strict about being tardy, so if you have trouble getting to class on time do not take his class. Overall, Good class!

He is a very nice, understanding guy. His classes are quite enjoyable, but don't let that fool you. His is a tough grader, and I felt his class was hard; I had to drop. Although, if you enjoy a challenging, nice, and understanding teacher his is a top pick. He is very smart and he knows his stuff.

Cool guy. Tests are difficult, but he does curve the tests. Just study. you will need the book. Papers are easy. Just turn them in ontime. His quizes are at the beginning of class, if you're late, then you cant make it up. The quizes are True and False questions. And guess what....the answers are ALWAYS TRUE!!!

I was expecting a boring but easy course it wasn't. This was my best class ever even though it was lots of work.

GO TO CLASS. If you go to class and pay attention you will pass because a third of the test is the stuff that come directly out of his mouth so listen up. You will need to read the book but i would not say that you have to do a lot of studing to get a good grade.

Human sexuality was one of the best classes I have taken yet! He always had interesting stories to relate the information that needed to be learned. You do have to study a bit in order to achieve an A, but if you show up for classes, not much studying is required. I highly recommend this class!

I had him for both SYG2361 & SYG2430 and I got a 'B' in both classes. He is very easy. You have to write two papers and they are also very easy. The tests are so simple and he is very good and explaining things. The class before the next test, he always gives a very good review. I reccommend taking his classes.

ok, i'll admit...the tests are pretty hard...even if you study. but this guy is so cool. his class is interesting, he's got a great sense of humor, and the information is valuable. if i could take the class again, i would, i'd just study a lot harder.

Dr. Liang is a great teacher. he keeps class interesting for everyone and has a ton of great stories about almost everything. His teaching style is unique and well thought out. He will answer all and any of your questions, even the obscure ones. Great class for those looking for a class they can stay awake in!

You must attend class to pass because a lot of what he says is on the test and not in the book. Also he is a great teacher in helping answer questions. The class is very much discussion and asking questions you want answered. The class is very interesting. A lot of writing is required but not really all that hard.

I found Dr. Liang's classes to be a little over the top from time to time. He gave a lot of good information and kept the class laughing. However, a lot of the stories that he told are very dark and twisted and i never felt that they were needed to understand the class topic but were a way to shock the students. I would not take his class again.

I thought that this course was going to be boring, but Dr. Liang proved me wrong. I enjoyed the course and everything offered, mainly the stories. Attendance is madatory, but you get extra points. We didn't use the book often but, it may be useful depending on you.Highly recommended for sociology.

i enjoyed the class & i thought the class was ez. test were from lecture & book, he gave us extra points. if u knew ur name u got a 70 on the quizzes, final was mostly from previous test and he gives you the old test to study. the paper was the hardest but i did ok.

my fav class, learned so much about relationshps, his storieis are great. the only class i went to reg. my boyfriend and i talked about every class. best teacher so far.

Fantastic teacher! Not an easy class by any means. I worked my ass off for my A, but it was wicked interesting. His lectures are great. You HAVE to study, really listen to his reviews and study them for the tests. He is a rough grader on the papers, you have to really cover all the info on the rubric for an A, but its def possible.

class was very interesting but i agree with the others when they say he doesn't seem to want his students to pass. attendance is mandatory..quizzes or an essay on most days- they are easy though. lots of notes and doesn't put them on blackboard

Great teacher, great class! Most importantly attend class because he gives lots of pop quizzes. Also moves through notes a bit fast but is happy to answer questions if needed. Tests can be difficult, study notes and the text! The only stimulating class I've had at TCC. I would highly recommend it!

Very knowlegable about what he is teaching. Tells stories about real life cases to make the class fun and interested. A friend of mind took it with me and we had a good time in his class every day. Attendance is mandatory because he has 3 question pop quizzes every once in a while but there easy all true/false.TAKE HIM! easy if u go to class :)

I thought this class was going to be one of the most interesting classes, until I actually took it. Liang teaches the most boring class ever. All we do is take notes. We always have a pop quiz and essay. Students are struggling to take notes because he speeds through them. We have little to no discussion in the class. HORRIBLE TEACHER....HARD CLASS

Liang rocks! Very hard class, but quite informative - if you want to learn. Light hearted & fair weather students beware! He expects you to work as hard as he does, and he's a hard worker. Overall, an awesome class; don't EXPECT to get an "A" as only 5% will earn one. Good luck!

Interesting guy. Makes the class much more exciting with his personal stories, because a lot of the information could easily put you to sleep. Come to class. It's a big part of your grade and he gives TONS of pop quizzes.

Funny guy. he goes through the nothes quickly but it's based on the textbook. he will email you his notes though!

I took the web class, got a B. it was ez cuz u do practice quizzes then take the quiz. there were also flash cards and practice test. Essays was the hardest cuz you had to mention vocabulary and some of the theries. main thig is to keep up with the dates

He is a great professor. Test were bascially the definitions of the chapters and he gives quizzes and writing assignments that were so easy. The way he teached was so fun and very interesting, he makes you want to come to class. I got an A so this is an easy A teacehr. Take him great guy.

Horrible teacher, doesn't care about his students at all his online class is a teach yourself class. if you are even a minute late in a submission you get a zero even if that means you fail the class. has a midterm over the first ten chapters and a final over the last ten no study guide. Completely heartless a Careerist not an educator.

I do not agree with people that says he is a poor teacher b/c actually my class really enjoyed being in his class [not speaking for everyone]. He teaches right off his powerpoints so I did not really need the book. But overall I wouldn't mind taking his class again.

just finished online class thought it was ok.. got a b. 4 test from book I got c on all test. 4 essays... watch the video as long as you write 3 vocab words and talk about a theory or 2 you get an A. no other homework no attendance!!!

Attendance is MANDATORY!! He gives pop quizzes and essays constantly but they are all really easy. The exams are 100 questions and if you come the day before the exam he tells you what you need to study right off of the exam. His notes he gives in class match directly with the book and its a very easy class. He makes class very interesting and fun!

Awesome teacher! Funny and makes class fun. Gives easy pop quizzes and very small in class essays, so come to class. Exams are 100 q but altogether only count 25% of your grade. Basically come to class and u will pass this course. We even got to go on a field trip in this class!

this is the only class that I attended everyday. His lectures were very good and he explains things with great examples. he gives you all of his notes and outlines for all the book chapters but you still have to buy the book. he gives a good review of all his test and the quizs and essays help your grade.

at first i was very excited about this class. In the beginning i payed attention and all but by the middle of class i found myself very bored. He's alright. If you like 100 question long multiple choice tests take him. I HATED his tests. He never responds to emails and he's rude if you try to talk to him after class.

he's laidback. he puts the ppt's on blackboard. he does an EXTREMELY helpful review the class before the test. has random 3 question quizzes & small 2 sentence essays. 3 tests & a final. i read the ch's for test 1 & made a 91... i stopped reading for test 2 & 3 and made 80's... so read & pay attention during the review! overall interesting class.

I missed most of the deadlines in the online class and F-bombed. I'm in the class now... the test are still hard but he gives you lots of extra quizzes and essays, gives you all his notes BB, the review for the test are very helpful. no makeups for anything. he makes the lectures interesting and some funny. you got to attend class. got a B

I would not advise anyone to take this class online. I believe that the online class misses a lot that is probably discussed in the actual class. The assignments and the essays are easy but the tests are hard, there is so much info to remember and for me, it was hard to remember everything needed in order to pass the tests.

I took this class on line; I believe that he is a good teacher but taking the class online you have very little interaction with him. I wish I had taken the class on campus instead because although I learned a lot, I probably would have learned more. Not a class to take online.

I got a B, liked class for several reasons 1 did not have to do discussion board BS which I hate.2 all work was open from start. ebooks you can scan for answers without reading whole book. Test were hard got Cs.Essay samples helped got Bs quizzes help your grade.

Great class, but the tests are extremely challenging. You really need to spend time studying the book and his powerpoints by yourself to even get a B on a test. Most students studied and still got 60s. Otherwise, extremely interesting Professor.

Amazing teacher. Yes you MUST attend class and yes the test are lengthy BUT he gives great examples. He gives extremely easy in class essays and quizzes for everyone to rack up extra points. A teacher you must take. Very happy

Take him for every sociology class you can.

Great teacher, really funny. He wont withdraw you for not coming to class but you wont make good grade because you will miss essays and quizzes that count for most of your grade. If you go to class and read the book you will make a good grade and have a good time.

Make sure you come to class everyday! You will because not only is his class enjoyable (you'll want to come) but he's great eye candy too! If you want to laugh and have a good time and make an easy grade, then TRUST ME this is the class to take!

The class is really fun, but there is a lot of work and you absolutely cannot miss it. There are 20 point quizzes almost every other class.

His might be a good teacher but he sucks on providing accurate information. When you ask him if you are passing his class. He would say, " you are able to miss 60 points and you are fine." He will not go in depth about. Leaving thinking you are passing. Finals is when he would state that you have failed.

I absolutely loved this class and I can easily say Professor Liang is the reason. He made the class very first person. He also works a psychiatrist, so he's always giving personal stories to help you understand the topic better. There are NO test, just weekly pop quizzes which are TF and you get a 70% for putting your name etc. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Overall, as long as you attend this class and do all the quizzes online you should get a good grade. Attendance is a must because of pop quizzes(which are pretty easy). He gives a lot of real life stories which are funny so class is not boring

Dr. Liang was an amazing teacher. Be ready to read a chapter each week, there are easy and understandable, and to do few questions online as quizzes. Also, be ready for some in-class quizzes and short in-class essays at random times. He does not make you feel like giving up on the class. This an enjoyable class, you should definitely take it :)

To be plain and simple, the class is EASY! If you make less than a "B" then you must not have cared at all. He lectures and gives random pop quizzesessays which are super easy. There are absolutely NO TESTS so the only thing that you really have to worry about are the online quizzes which are somewhat difficult.

this online class was easier than my last one. All assignments available at beginning of semester. Extra credit helps grade a lot. final not cumulative. gives examples of for essays which are about online videos... not bad.

Finished the online class early. Going on vacation so having all the assignments available from the beginning was a big help . Test are hard but he gives you bonus points. 2 essays didn't seem hard. Emailed lang couple of times he got back to me quickly even on nights and weekends... didn't really have any other contact.

While I enjoyed his class, his online quizzes are very difficult. His in class quizzes and essays are quite simple though. Those are pop quizzez/essays, and you can't make them up, so you have to be in class to take them, attendance is mandatory. But very interesting lectures, and fun to interact with. Very nice guy, semi hard class though!

All assignements are given at beginning of semester. Would help to always try to be a chapter ahead and DO the MBQ! All tests are online, essays and quizzes are all POP so you HAVE TO attend class. He's not very understanding to emergencies. There are NO MAKE UPS!

I loved this class. He had a sense of humor that threw me off guard, but he said you have to have a sense of humor for his type of work. He does give pop quizzes and essays, but he doesn't grade them on correctness, only if they are turned it (attendance is KEY). If you pay attention, take notes, and even SKIM the book, the online quizzes are easy!

Dr. Liang is a very awesome professor. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has his own practice so he knows a lot about the subject. The course does have homework but it it easy as long as you read the book.

As long as you show up ON TIME and stay off your phone you will get an A.

Amazing class & amazing teacher! There are 15 weekly quizzes online (can be done all at once), 15 sporadic in-classes quizzes, & 10 in-class "essays", and a 3 part research assignment. The in-class quizzes and essays (which are 3 sentences) are graded on participation. No note-taking required. Only test is the final. Take him!

just finish death & dying web based. Didn't have much contact with lang but he always answered the few questions I had. Course test were hard but essays were easy. lots of extra points @ 150. I don't like dicussion boards so was glad there weren't alot. plan on taking his marriage web class in the summer.

I thought I had a B. i didn't realize that the extra credit points was already in the course which made my grade an A. The test are hard but the practice quizzes help. he gives the first essay in 3 part which makes it easier.

Took this class as an elective not what I expected at all. Great class Online work was the hardest but the class quizzes and essay were very easy. The best part of it was the discussion... very interesting to hear other people talk about relationships, sex, child birth... the child abuse and family violence discussions were intense.

I looked forward to this class. I like the way he teaches the class and got a lot out of the class discussion. There are no test except the final which was easy. The in class work was the easiest so you have to be there and you can't be late. The online quizzes are the hardest. He has a bunch of extra credit so it is easy to pass the class.

You MUST attend class to pass this class but other than that, this class was an easy A. He is hilarious, down to earth and makes this class so interesting. In the online class i took, reading the textbook was all you had to do. Try even a little bit on a few small papers and discussions (online class), and you're ready to get an A in the class. It is a point-based grading system, and there are about 200 points of "cushion" that aren't counted in the class. if you don't pass, you were trying to fail.

Although he's a tough grader, I did enjoy the class. He really forces you to read the material otherwise, you won't pass. Although I complained about him while I was in the class, I felt good knowing that I earned my grade by working hard.

Dr. Liang is really great. The class wasn't really hard, but you definitely have to come to class for the quizzes and essays and do the online quizzes as well. Also, please laugh at his jokes. Sometimes his delivery is a little off, but he actually is funny.

Great class. The teacher is SO interesting. But honestly don't take if you skip class. He gives pop quizzes and essays (they are very easy and always gives you full credit for them no matter if you get the question wrong.) only hard part is the online quizzes. Also only one final at the end! TAKE WITH THIS PROFESSOR. EASY PASS.

Fun elective class. His lectures keep you intrigued. No tests, only a research paper you have to do. Pop quiz almost every other day, must attend class. Only 5 questions. Final exam was mostly written responses and your experience in the class. He was truly honest about everything that was being taught, and had a lot of stories to share.

He is really great. If you show up to class, you WILL get an A. His lectures can be kind of boring, but he has SO many interesting stories to tell which makes up for it. He has plenty of pop quizzes! His essays are really cool too! He just wants to see your response to certain situations. He's knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I recommend

Lots of extra points. didn't have much contact with teacher but he sends email reminders about class work just about every day. breaks down writing assignment which makes it easy to pass. final just on the last unit. topic interesting. class based on points not percentages which helps your grade.

Dr. Liang is a good, knowledgeable professor. He is a tough grader and you really have to read to pass the tests. There isn't a study guide. He gives 200 points so your grade is improved. You have to work for your grade though. I did have to use the book for his class. No makeup or late work.

Dr. Liang knows the subject. He is wealth of knowledge and great stories. I found his class to be interesting and I learned a lot. He is a tough grader and there are lots of quizzes. He lets you know everything up front and if you read the chapters and come to class you will do well. He wont cut you slack if you dont though. Gotta work for it!

One of my favorite classes. enjoyed his terapy stories which helped me decide major in psychology. the class is easy lots of extra credit. he has people help with writing assignments, just make sure you follow the directions. The online quizzes are the hardest but you do them on your own... he suggested quizlet and it does help.

Dr. Liang is a funny, nice and knowledgeable teacher, he makes the class engaging and fun, I enjoy hearing about his therapy stories. He responds quickly to messages about assignments and generally very clear with the information. The essays, online and class quizzes are generally pretty easy, nothing too overwhelming. Would take him again!

Class was much easier than I expected. Paper was broken down into 3 parts which made it easy. No test and the final was easy to pass. PLEASE TAKE THIS CLASS. Dr. Liang is amazing very funny and very easy to talk to. While the class is kinda difficult the lectures cover everything and its not really a lecture more just a conversation. For online chapter quizzes just copy and paste questions into google. Again please take this class it will change your life.

Toughest grader I have encountered at TCC so far when it comes to papers. Online class set up is easy to follow and he alerts you every day about what is coming up. Read the material!!! You will not do well if you rely on his study guides. He has 250 extra points, thankfully. Very nice guy, but definitely no pushover.

Best class. I've never taken a class that talked about relationships at least not like this class. My roommate and I talked about every class. She's taking it next semester. Just go to class and you'll pass. You won't regret it.

Professor Liang give very interesting lectures. He has a lot of professional experience. He loves teaching and it shows in the amount of effort he puts into his class. It is an easy A and you might even look forward to going to class.

Lots of extra credit which helps grade. Lectures were interesting and group assignments were fun. In class quizzes and essays were very easy. Quizlet helped me pass the online quizzes which are the hardest. THERE ARE NO TEST! Overall the final was very easy and only had 1 major essay.

No surprises but you have to keep up with the quizzes. 200+ extra points. Test only covers 3 chapters. Final only covers last 3 chapters. He sends out a lot notices and reminders.

Professor Lang one of my favorite teachers. He has worked in practice and has the knowledge to explain the material. There are a lot of extra points. All the classwork was easy just don't be late to class because you'll miss a quiz.

Professor Liang is an amazing guy and professor, he's funny and the curriculum is interesting but there are some parts of Human Sexuality that are the most interesting like Male Anatomy but he tries to keep it alive. Lecture heavy but not a bore. I actually want to take any other class he is teaching because he's that good! Strict grader for OCQs

Loved his class, wish i would've found him earlier during my time at tcc. He's funny, and the class isn't as awkward as one would think.

He uses an extension that records you while you are testing, and only allows you take the quizzes once.

Show up early to class and do all the homework. There are TONS of quizzes but no tests. He works you hard but it's definitely worth it as the lectures are hilarious and engaging.

Professor Liang has clear expectations theres a lot of in class quizzes and essays that you can not make up easy points. Hardest part of the class was the out of class quizzes but if you listen during lecture and purchase the book you should be fine. Hes very funny so that was a bonus.

To pass his class, studying is a must. This is not an easy class; however, it is worth it if you push through. Put your best foot forward and you'll do great. As for the professor, If you earned a bad grade it's because you didn't read the syllabus/plan well,his expectations are clear.

A very funny and interesting professor. Make sure to show up to class or you simply will not succeed. Always has very interesting stories to add onto the lecture, and he has a very dry but witty sense of humor. Truly, I show up to class just to hear his stories. The work will be tough at times, but if you stick to it and stay motivated, you'll pass

I would recommend this professor 10x if I could. There is no way you cant pass his Human Sexuality class. You go at your own pace and are able to retake quizzes and tests so long as the date hasnt passed. Also, no Honorlock on tests. You dont even need it because the material is so easy to learn and REALLY INTERESTING. GO FOR HIMMM

Its easy to get an A and there are unlimited attempts and on all quizzes and exams. No make up work is allowed. I never bought the book and I got a C. 9/10 overall

All you need is 700 points to pass his course and you can stop working at that point if you want, which means youll have a C. No makeup is allowed. Definitely recommend 10/10.

I passed his class with an A+ within 3 days. He grades based off of points, not percentages, so after you get the amount of points you want, you don't have to do anymore assignments. Best teacher ever! Very easy!
