Extremely interesting class. Also, the teacher is very funny. I never ONCE used my book and got an A in the class. Just take good notes during the lecture and study the artwork. If you need a humanity credit, take this class!!! He also has exam review days, which are a big help.

Jeff Morehead is one of the most advanced instructors I have encountered during my three year attendance at the college. He makes a seemingly minor subject become tantalizingly fascinating. I loved this teacher! The class is super simple and its really hard to fail unless you just don't do anything. The tests are basically given to you and you mostly just have to memorize stuff. Take this class its such a easy A and don't buy the book!

I really enjoyed his art appreciation class. The tests are the easiest you'll ever take. Memorize the works and dates, it's an easy A. The class was more interesting that I expected. We only opened the book twice for the online responses so I would say just to look at someone else's when you need it rather than buying.

Prof. Morehead is as easy as it comes. He doesn't post his lectures, so you do have to attend class to get the info, but all of his tests come directly from his PP's. He requires two art projects, but he grades on originality rather than ability.

I definitely recommend taking him for Art App. He gives you all the notes, and he pretty much goes over the entire test before the test day. His class is so easy, and he is such a laid back teacher. What makes him ever better is that he has such a passion for art, and it really just makes you happy. Very easy class. Just study some and show effort.

This guy was born to be a teacher. He is passionate about Art and Art History. Even at 8 am MWF he's always in an approachable mood, and treats students with respect. Professor Morehead is the BEST !!! He lectures off his powerpoints and tells you exactly what will on the exam . People complain about his dates but I think it is important to have dates so students learn in what time period each piece of work came from other wise it really wouldnt be Art appreciation . Very easy class. He's not a hard grader. Quizzes are very easy and lectures are short. Take notes because that's literally your study guide for quizzes and tests. The final exam is easy.

He is a great professor for Art, and understands that most people in ART 1100 are not art majors. He lectures off PowerPoints and notes are NOT posted online. 1 project at the end- make a work of art and describe it. Very nice person-always available in his office. Prof. Morehead was really fun. If you like art, you'll love the class. Study guides are just a list of the exact terms and means to memorize for the tests. Tests are supper easy!!! Only other work is writing one review of a piece of art per week. This class was probably my favorite. The easiest class I've taken in college. It's very relaxed.

Wicked spastic (in a good way), funny, and overall very passionate. Loves to answer questions and when he does he does so as if he were a mentor; i.e. carefully considers every word and explains it in a way that shows the importance of art, even if you couldn't care less about VanGogh or Dali, You will develop a passion for art.

Very lecture heavy, but he is extremely interesting. Entire grade is based on five tests and a paper, so it's easy, but be sure not to screw up. He allows three skips and then starts taking off half a grade letter, so show up. But you need to show up to pass anyway. Take good notes. Lots of date memorization is annoying though

Professor Morehead is one of those that you would love to sit down, have a beer, and talk about art history. He is a outgoing and hilarious Professor because he loves to share stories with particular topics we are discussing in class and it's fascinating. I would recommend anyone to take his class because he is an all around enjoyable person.

All the classes are notes for the test, really. He goes into cool detail about a lot of the art pieces. There's 4 tests(not including the final), 9 easy papers to submit, and a group project. This is a great class for visual learners, but you must pay attention and take notes to pass the tests. Must be present to learn! I took the hybrid class which included two essay posts per week. He looks for your opinion, word minimum (400), and use of vocabulary words from the lecture. FREE online textbook!

He's a great professor. I took this course as a requirement but he makes art so interesting. Make flashcards for the tests and you should be completely fine. A few tests, two group activities and a project at the end. Easy class if you go in, take notes, and study with flashcards, you should get an A.

This has been my most favorite class! Just make flashcards or a Quizlet and remember the name of the painting, and the artist who painted it. that's it, easy A!

Dr. Morehead is an incredible professor. He cares about art and makes learning about it fun. As someone who is not an art major, I was worried I would find this course boring, but I enjoyed every minute. Very good teacher! He only took attendance to learn our names. Had little jokes in between his lectures. Rarely ever had to take notes. All of his tests are multiple choice. There was a final project that was just to make any piece of art and write a short essay on it. Very easy. All you have to do is pay attention.

Morehead gives really in-depth lectures but makes them digestible for the classroom. Attendance is important because his lectures have information that you'll be tested on that won't be put in the study guide later on. The grading was based on 4 tests and a project, so make sure to meet deadlines since he doesn't provide extra credit.

I took ART 3500 which is visual literacy and it was a fun class. He had good lectures and the assignments were pretty light other than the projects but those were not bad either.

Took Art3500 and LOVED it. Quizzes and homeworks were easy. The 2 presentations made me nervous but they were pretty simple. Do the work thoroughly and you should be fine. Took Morehead for both intro art history classes, as well as visual lit. Can't say that I've met a more chill professor! The PowerPoints he gives are informative and he always has more to add to them. For your big projects, he'll always have positive feedback to give about them. Was a pure pleasure!
