I suck at math, but Mr. Sartor's feedback helps me understand my test mistakes. I appreciate how attendance isn't mandatory and yet he is always there and available to help students. Pretty funny professor. I would say while attendance is nonmandatory (except for test days), attend class anyway. It is worth the extra help if you're struggling.
doesnt require attendance, and gives out many options of extra credit. genuinely a fair class, get a dropped test grade and 4 dropped homework grades.
loves students and LOVES to give extra help. he really loves to see students succeed. if you skip class its hard to catch up if you aren't a self learner, but attendance isn't mandatory. hes straight to the point, and exams come from homework.
really easy teacher for math and even though class isnt required he highly suggests coming so he can offer extra help.
I hated math in high school, but took calculus from Mr Sartor first semester freshman year and it was my favorite class. If you come to class, do the homework, and find friends to study with, you'll do well. Mr Sartor is very accessible after class and his tutoring was never so busy that you couldn't find someone to help you.
Professor Sartor will help you if you need it and is usually pretty nice to students.
Prof. Sartor is a solid math professor. His lectures can occasionally be pretty boring, but I'd chalk that up to the subject matter. I found class was worth going to, and if I needed help outside of class Sartor was very accessible. He gives lots of info about the tests, which are exactly like the homework.
He makes Calculus very easy to understand and does a good job at clarifying many math basics that would typically confuse students. The tests are just like the homework and he always goes over all the types of questions that could be on the test. As long as you go to class and do the homework there is no reason not to do well in this class.
If you're taking calculus for the first time, Sartor is great at making it beginner friendly. Class is either new material or him doing examples directly from the homework, either way he always posts it online. His work is detailed and clear. He doesn't have an accent at all, unlike other professors, and he has some dry dad humor if you enjoy that.
LOVEEE Jeff. He is a great professor with lots of dad jokes. Youll be fine, as long as you attend class + do the homework. 10/10 recommend
Mr. Sartor was hands down the best professor I've had so far at the University. He gives great feedback on homework, is clear as he can be on what material will be covered on the tests and cares a lot about his students and their grades. I despise math but having him as a professor made it enjoyable. I'm sad I won't have him as a professor again.
Professor Sartor has been my favorite math professor since I've been here. His lectures can be slow, but he does a very good job going through the material and making sure you understand it. He wants his students to succeed and he's funny and easy to follow. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he makes you want to come to class and participate.
best math teacher ever. although his teaching technique was different than the way i had learned in the past he was very helpful in explaining. the tests are exactly like the homework and study guides. study those and youll get an A. also give like 5-10% curve on tests with a drop tests.
He was a great communicator in teaching and guiding you with the materials. Made a perfect score on one of the exams! Definitely could have made a 100 in the course if I did each review before the exam to completion (up to 60+ questions). Homework is due twice a week, but follows lecture and notes spot-on. You will not struggle in the course!
I took math 100 for my summer class and it was so easy. It is all online, 2 assignments a day, but if you do 12 hours before it is due you get extra credit. I am terrible at math and the class was decently easy for me to get an a.
He was the best ever. I had him for 110 and he made it so easy. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities to where your average is at least a 90+, at one point I had a 105. Drops the lowest test score and lowest 4 homework grades. He is very funny and witty and genuinely wants his students to succeed. He's really understanding if you miss work.
Professor Sartor is so caring and understanding. He always makes lectures very engaging and humourous with his funny jokes. I learned a lot in his class and I really appreciate his dedication to making his class unlike every other math class. Great class and professor! :) Highly recommend.
I actually enjoyed going to his class. He stops and answers questions that people ask which is really helpful. He throws in little jokes and makes math fun. Also if you complete the homework at least a day before it's due, you get extra credit.
My favorite teacher ever!! Plenty of opportunities for extra credit, such as getting extra credit for every homework completed a day early. He jokes around and makes the class fun, and engages with the class. He is very understanding and caring.
Dr. Sartor is a really nice, and caring professor. He's really passionate about his job and cares about his students (he even bought us candy). The setup of the class makes it so you learn from videos and not from him which sucks, but he is really kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Tests are very short so make sure you know all the material well.
Loved this class! He's very funny and easy to reach! You get extra points for doing homework 24 hours before the due date, and get 4 drop homework and a drop test grade. His tests are exactly like the reviews and he's very clear about what you do and do not need to know. He's extremely helpful, so attend tutoring if you're struggling!!
Great professor. No reason to not get an A in this class. Offers extra credit for homework, lectures were fun and engaging, and did test reviews where the questions were the exact type that were on the tests. Very easy to prepare for and do well on tests.
Professor Sartor is the best math teacher I've ever had. He teaches in a way that makes the information easy to understand. I'm horrible at math, but he made this course easy. You get four homework and one test drop so the final isn't mandatory. If you have to take a math class definitely take it with him,
Little to no interaction with the professor. You are basically on your own which sucks if you're not good at math. The homework barely counts towards your grade, so your grade heavily depends on each exam. He did allow us to drop our final exam, which was pretty cool.
This guy is amazing! I took his winter online class and it was SUPER EASY. Im not the best at math but the notes and lectures really helped. Extra credit is always available too if you turn in hw a day early, he also drops ur 3 lowest homework assignments
This class was self taught and self paced, with deadlines to keep students on track. The professor has MANY tutors in class everyday for our use. He has been my math teacher for Math 100 and 110. He likes to talk and get to know students.
Whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper Junior, double, triple whopper Flame-grilled taste with perfect toppers I rule this day At BK, have it your way You rule!
Tight, tighttight YEAH
Crosswalk monologue so inspirational
He seemed out of it every lecture like he wasn't fully there. He followed slides so basically I had to teach myself everything. Lots of tests and homework.
He is a wonderful professor. he makes everything clear and will answer any questions you have regarding homework and preparation for tests. He provides study guides too. He's funny but sometimes he like screams when he is teaching lol. not on purpose though.
If you don't take Jeff Sartor literally what are you doing? Such an easy A!! funny, relatable, and very very helpful when you have questions. Takes his time explaining everything. Makes really bad jokes. A big thing for me was that he taught us how to use the prehistorically approved calculator so we could actually do the work.
take him! his class is so easy, literally if you turn in your homework 24 hours before it's due you get extra credit. i'm a nursing student and this class had been nothing but a breeze. I have a 104%. so simple! he's very funny and explains well. if you have to take a math take him!
take this professor! easiest math class i've ever taken and he still gives so many opportunities to improve your grade. I am finishing with an A+. Absolutely loved Jeff Sartor and could not recommend him enough.
Amazing teacher classes are optional but I recommend going. All reviews are exactly like the tests and he is extremely understanding. I hate math but I would take his class over and over again.
He is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. He teaches so well and you can tell how much he cares about his students. He is very understanding and the reviews are exactly like the test. Attendance is not mandatory. He is funny and just a great teacher. Highly recommend.
I've always had trouble with math and once I took him I thought I could take a higher math. But no seriously he is a great teacher and will help you out if your homework is late and the study guides are just like the test.
helpful when needed, caring and friendly to students, good informative lectures.
His test come straight from the homework he assigns, this class material is easy in general but he makes it easier. 10/10 would take again
Jeff is amazing I hate math but he is one of my favorite professors at UA! Class isn't mandatory but go at least once a week and go to the reviews before the tests. His office hours are very helpful and since a lot of people don't go its usually 1 on 1.
Mr. Sartor is an amazing professor! Attendance is not mandatory and he posted the notes and reviews so I literally never went to class and just did my homework & still got an A. He is very accessible and responds to emails quickly and is very helpful when you need him. Tests were always almost exactly the same as the reviews. Take his class!
He is an amazing professor! He posts all of the notes on blackboard and is very easygoing! If you need an extension on homework, he is willing to give it to you without any points being taken off! His tests are also very similar to the reviews. He also has an amazing sense of humor, he doesn't make you dread going to class. TAKE HIS CLASS!!
Jeff Sartor is so amazing and wants his students to do well. He will help you as much as you need it. 4 tests and he will drop the lowest one at the end of the semester. Homework was easy and I really liked him and he always emails back so fast. Definitely recommend taking him
Mr. Sartor was amazing. This class was super easy as long as you took the time to learn the material. He really cares about each student and wants us to succeed. You get extra credit if you do your homework more than 24 hours before its due. Definitely take this class with him.
Would highly recommend taking this class with him he really cares about his students and explains the material very well he also has great test reviews
Awesome!! Super easy material. Bonus when finishing homework more than one day early. Review directly prepares you for tests.
Class was mainly online, but you just had to go to a room and do your work! Tests messed me up a little, but he's a pretty decent professor
Go to class, do your homework, ask for help if needed. It is easy math and if you do your homework 24 hrs in advance you get 10 bonus points on the homework. No final exam if you do well in the class.
I went into this class worried about my overall grade, as I'm not good at math at all. Professor Sartor really explains the concepts, and gives review guides before every test. The reviews are extremely similar to the tests, and if you don't understand something, he'll explain it in different ways. He's better than other math professors I've had.
Professor Sartor is such a kind guy. He truly wants his students to succeed and will work with you during office hours if needed. If you do the Homework at least 24 hours in advance you get a 10% bonus. Test reviews are posted and if you know the stuff on them you will do just fine. The tests are short and there is a drop test.
Goes over all the material in an extremely easy to understand way. I suck at math and haven't had trouble with it based on how he explains it. He also gets through it quickly and doesn't waste your time. Definitely take him for 112 he's the best. He's also super funny and wants to help so if you have questions make sure to ask!
Mr. Sartor is fantastic. His slides are super helpful and easy to follow. He lays out the test questions and guidelines super clearly. The homework and tests line up perfectly.
The best math professor ever!!!!!!!!!!! He is understanding of your time and tends to end class early every day. You have 4 tests all semester, 1 of which you get to drop. You have classwork every class which is graded, so if you want a good grade, go to class! You get 3 classwork drops and 3 homework drops! I highly reccomend!
His class is really great! I would recommend for you to take his class. He was very clear about dropping hw and tests. He also teaches really good and at a good pace. His exams are also really easy because he is really good at explaining the material. You do not have to show up to class because he uploads all the lectures.
Sartor was awesome! Really nice guy, he is always willing to help and made a point to check in on me every class to make sure I was ok. Extra credit on every HW if you do it 24 hours early, 1 drop test. One of the nicest professors I have had. He also sends out homework help every week to help with the more difficult HW problems.
Jeff Sartor is amazing! Super nice guy and his lectures are easy to follow and straight to the point. If you complete the online homework 24 hours before it is due, you get extra credit. Tests are exactly like the reviews, and you get two attempts per question on tests. Would definitely recommend taking his class!
Jeff Sartor is an amazing professor! He posts all of his notes (blank and filled out) on blackboard and gives extra credit on homework turned in 24 hours in advance. Sartor is super understanding & is reachable outside of the classroom. Gives 2 attempts on every test & drops the lowest test, classwork, and homeworks. Highly recommend!!
He is an amazing math professor. He will post the completed notes after class and he always there to answer questions and to help you out. Definitely recommend!!
By far the best professor I have ever had. I never went to class and ended with a 102. He post all of his notes/lectures and is super understanding.
I absolutely loved Mr. Sartor. The class itself is pretty easy. Majority of the time the reviews for the test are identical to the test itself. If you do the hw and do the review for the test the class is an easy A. he's very sweet and kind he's also very transparent about grading. I wish every math class was like his.
This class was easier and better than 100! Final was not required, tests were easy if you did the study guide and lectures were not mandatory! Great guy, very helpful and enjoyed lecture because he made everything clear and explained every step.
I took this class over the summer and failed it so I had low expectations coming in. I was so wrong Jeff is actually the best ever he makes math so easy, this class is easier than 100 he is super caring and will explain things many times. He cares about his students and he wants them to do well. He is awesome, take him!
He is honestly one of my best professors yet. Attendance isn't mandatory, and he has a playlist of lecture videos, notes and posts them annotated after every class. Very accommodating if you don't understand something. Down for extra credit. Take him!!!
This is the best teacher I have had at this school. He explains everything so clearly and makes sure you understand. If something was too hard he took it off the exam. Every homework you have is easy and if you do it before its due you get extra credit. He was fun to listen to and I honestly can't say enough great things about him!! TAKE HIM!!
He is PERF. He is the best teacher i've ever had, his southern accent is amazing, he is so kind and respectful, and he clearly wants us to understand the material. I would probably take this class again just because he's awesome. I will miss this man so much. I can't recommend him enough.
Jeff is honestly a 10/10. Super funny guy, and makes lectures as easy to understand as possible. definitely have to go to class to get a good grade. Material is tough but he always stays after class and labs if you have any questions
I am not typically good at math but this class has been amazing to take. He extends any homework needed as long as you ask, and if you get it done a day before it is due its a 110%. He is overall such a nice guy and goes out of his way to help you if needed. As long as you actually go to class you should do well.
He's a great math professor, I would 110% recommend him. His lectures are the notes and practice problems, they make the homework easy and you get extra credit for completing them 24hours early. Tests are fairly simple as long as you attend most of classes or watch the videos, they have the formulas and you get 2 tries per box on questions.
I loved Professor Sartor! His class was so incredibly easy, very hard to get below an A. You get one drop exam, so you don't even have to take the final. If you do the homework 24 hours early you get bonus points, which really helps your grade. He is an awesome professor and so funny! Take him!
he is awesome at teaching and you get extra credit for doing your homework the day before its due, final is optional if you want a test drop and he is the best
Honestly one of my favorite professors of all time and I had an amazing experience with this class. I did not have a strong math background going into this class, but the way he taught made it easy to succeed. He was super available for extra help and very friendly. He loved our class and though attendance was optional, most people went anyway.
Prof. Sartor was a great instructor. I attended once for syllabus day and did just fine. Do yourself a favor and do the review guide he posts on webassign as it shows exactly what's on the test. Hw is due at 10:59 not 11:59 but do it all 24 hours early and it's impossible to get less than 110%. 3 hw drop grades if you forget. Hard not to get an A.
DO NOT GO TO CLASS!!!! Such an easy math course. He posts shorter, YouTube lectures so you don't need to go to class. No attendance policy. If you do the HW 24 hours before its due you get a 110 on it! If you do well on the other tests, you don't have to take the final. I ended with a 71 in Math 100, but in Math 110 I ended with a 102.
LOVED this teacher, made the material as simple as possible to understand. Going to class really does matter but if you can't he has youtube lectures online so you can learn it yourself.
Mr. Sartor was great. Made math 110 very easy to manage. Get your homework in early for extra credit. Test questions are straight from the homework. He wants you to succeed.
Professor Sartor was amazing! He knew how to incorporate humor into his lectures and was always super kind. His test reviews helped tremendously! Attendance isn't mandatory but going to class will help you better understand the material. He is always willing to help and cares a lot about his students. Highly highly recommend him!
Super Easy!
Super easy class and great professor. He will not let you fail. He is always willing to work with students.
I loved his class so much. Lectures are short and very easy to understand. Tests matched everything we went over in class. As long as you show up and do the homework + test reviews you should be alright. He's also very helpful and happy to go over things with you if needed.
He was a teacher that understood that a low level class isn't gonna be at the top of your priority list. He told us not to come to class if we didn't need to. I would recommend looking over the lecture notes before class and only going if you don't understand the material and going to all of the review classes. You'll do great!!
The best prof. that I have had at UA. I was TERRIBLE at math in high school but Jeff made everything very simple and I got an A in math for the first time since middle school lmao.
He is very kind, never makes you feel dumb for not knowing what you're doing. Always very helpful. You can tell he really cares about his students and our success. Your grade is really just a reflection of how much effort you decide to put into the class. Lecture isn't required but I recommend bc he helps with material.
This class was genuinely my favorite this semester, and I usually don't like math. He taught lots of methods that involved lots of math that is applicable to every day life which I think every math course should have. I didn't have to study before tests, homework is easy and gives many attempts, and there are lots of grade drops. Loved this class!
Attendance is mandatory on the labs, he post the lectures & notes online but show up to class. I did the hw while he talked so i didnt have any after class. He allows 1 drop test (can be the final) and think 1 drop hw & lab. Hes willing to work with you if you need help. he canceled class a couple of time but not often. if you fail its ur fault.
I took this online. The online lectures were very detailed and walked you through every step. If you do all homework and hand it in early, you can earn extra credit. I noticed that this class got easier you go. The "more difficult math" was front-loaded in the first three weeks, and the practical, useful math was towards the end of the semester.
easy teacher and very understanding. Easy math I've ever taken personally.
My favorite professor at UA so far!! He made math 125 a lot easier to understand and I always felt so prepared for the tests. He was always willing to help outside of class and answer any questions!!
Professor Sartor is a great professor. I have a background in AP calculus AB, which helped me in this course, but even my peers who had no background did amazing. The biggest thing I recommend to do for this class is to ACTUALLY do the homework. That's all you need to do to understand this class. If you do the homework, you'll get easy A's on tests.
Hands down my favorite professor at UA! He explained everything so simply and was super accessible outside of class if you needed extra help. Deadlines for homework were very clear and the homework was exactly like the tests were. It was the easiest math class I have ever taken. Would 100% recommend him!!!
Great professor that cares. Grades very fair and always offers help.
Jeff Sartor is THE prof to take for Cal 1. He will actually teach you the material in a way you can understand AND prepare you very well for the test. He is a kind person and very reasonable (he will give you partial credit on missed questions) GO TO THE MATH TUTORING LAB from the beginning and you will get an A. Lots of extra credit/extra drops.
AMAZING professor!! He sometimes overexplains certain things, but I'd much rather him overexplain than underexplain. Ask questions! He answers questions in such a helpful way. His office hours are amazing. He is the most helpful professor I've had, I cannot recommend him enough. Take his class!!!
Professor Sartor might be my favorite since attending UA. Attendance isn't mandatory, but after every lecture, he gives time to work on homework and gives extra credit with attendance. He posts lectures and demonstrates different problems. He definitely over-explains, but he makes sure whatever you're not sure about, he helps you understand.
AMAZING! Cal1, take this one! Extra 5% credit for everything, tests aswell. Attended all his lectures because I felt bad that many students didn't. In lectures he might overexplain, but makes sure that everyone understands. Tests are just like study guides so if you make sure you understand everything on study guide, tests will be piece of cake.
Took this course ONLINE this past semester. Super easy. He provides notes, lecture videos, and you complete the homeworks and tests through Cengage. Doesn't require a proctor or Lockdown browser for tests and homeworks. If you like your grade at the end of the semester, prior to the exam, you won't have to take the exam. Overall super easy.
As a person who really struggled with Calc 1 in high school, I was dreading this class, but Prof Sartor explained everything so clearly and made sure everyone understood. He was always very quick to respond to emails, which was very helpful if I got stuck on something. He also makes an effort to make sure everyone passes. Take him!!!
If you ever needed someone to explain math to you like you were 5 years old, this is the class for you!! He is super nice and patient and makes sure you understand everything! I hope I can take him for all of my math classes. 10/10 recommend. Also, lectures only on M&W and Fridays are for assignments and you can leave as soon as you're done :)
My favorite professor I've had at Alabama, and I despise math. Super accessible, cares a lot about each student, works hard to help you if you show that you want to get a good grade. He also takes the time to learn your name and know who you are. Cannot recommend him enough.
Very caring, wants you to pass, tests reviews, if you know every question on the review (not the one on webassign) then you should do good on tests, good communicator, and doesnt record lectures but he does post his notes (Writes pretty good notes). Definitely my favorite! I also took him for pre-calculus and loved him in that course as well.
Professor Sartor was amazing! He is very caring and easy to reach if you need any help or have any technical issues. He explains the content well and pulls his in-class questions from the homework.
Dr. Sartor is such a sweetheart! he is so happy to teach and help students and does everything he can to make sure his students are successful. you dont have to go to the lecture but it def helps a lot, he gives extra information to the students that go to class (he calls us his regulars). best math teacher at UA i loved him!
He is seriously the best! Super accessible outside of class and responds to emails very quickly. The tests are exactly like the reviews. He makes lectures super funny and entertaining.
he was amazing take this man!!!
He's great! Class is easy and he does literally everything in his power to help his students get good grades!
He was kind and clearly knowledgeable, and it was obvious they wanted students to do well. However, their explanations were often unclear or too fast-paced, which made it hard to fully grasp the material. With clearer instruction or more detailed examples, the class would have been much easier to follow.
He is a very good professor and makes class engaging. He gives lots of extra credit on tests and each question on the test you get two tries. Class is only mandatory when you have a lab or test. Easiest class I have taken at bama.
He is a great teacher, and only labs are mandatory. He responds to emails fast and is a very kind professor. Definitely recommend his class!
Best math teacher ever! He explains everything clearly, shows what problems will and won't be on the test, and gives answers if you attend class. Extra credit for early homework! You'll need to study, but his explanations make math much easier to understand.
Great professor for Math 110! Very accessible outside of class. Attendance is only mandatory for labs on Thursday/Friday, any of the lecture days weren't mandatory but I do advise you to go cause it will make the class easier for you! Very helpful with any questions and very understanding! I would really recommend taking this course with him!
He does lab attendance for extra points and the study guides are also for extra credit. He will help you if you do not understand. In order to understand, you need to go to lecture. His lectures really help. I am not good at math whatsoever but his class was definitely the easiest math class I have ever taken.
Never done well in math until this class. Extra credit questions on every exam and he drops lots of homework grades as well as an exam grade. Amazing at explaining and teaches you how to use the calculator required. He uploads slides before and after class. You get unlimited attempts at the HW and a lot of questions on the exams were the exact same
Easy class and a really funny and quirky guy. I would take his class again.
You don't have to go to class to pass, just make sure you study well for the tests. No need to stress about lab because there are people in there to help you! Mr. Sartor is a nice guy, very quirky and funny!
This class was outstanding. I have been out of the classroom for 30 years. This class breaks each section down to the most elementary level. If you keep up and turn your homework in early, you will excel. The tests are timed, and I timed out of the first one. Highly recommend this professor and class
I LOVE PROFESSOR SARTOR!!! He is such an amazing professor and he made everything make sense. I did not even need to study for tests because he taught so well during lecture. Not only is he an amazing professor, he is such a helpful and wonderful person. He knew all of his students by name and made the effort to help us all individually. Great guy!
I absolutely LOVE Dr.Sartor. If you show up to class you will 100% pass! His lectures teach you extremely well and he is always there to help. He does such an amazing job ! I would 100% take his class again.
He is an amazing teacher. I went to lecture twice a week and then lab once a week. You do have to go to the lecture to understand everything, but attendance is not mandatory. He cares a lot.
Goated professor
Professor Sartor is a great guy! I absolutely suck at math and he might just be the first professor to show me otherwise. He is always willing to help and he can be pretty funny during his lectures. Attendance is not mandatory unless we are in the math lab, then attendance is taken.
Show up and pay attention to lectures and then the exams/labs were easy. Attendance isn't taken for lecture days (2 days/week) but is taken for labs/exams (1 day/week)
Good professor
It is impossible to fail or even get a C in this class unless you do nothing. The content itself is really simple if you go to his lectures because he explains well, but I also never had a hard time teaching myself because it was simple. labs once a week and the only time where attendance is checked. This class is great and never stressed me out!!
Absolute best teacher I had, test reviews were similar to test, many dropped assignments, is very helpful when you don't understand, also just a very kind man overall. Would take this class over and over again!
Dr. Sartor is seriously the best. I waited a year to take him and I am so glad I did. I think I am the WORST at math but he makes it so easy to learn, so I got over a 100. You get two attempts on questions on tests. You do not have to take the final if you are happy with your grade. You do not have to come to class, but he offers a lot of tips.
Such a great teacher. Had him for online math 110. Answered emails usually same day, even if it was later in the afternoon. If i didnt understand something from the test, he sent a very thorough email explaining the question. He's great and would take him again!
Great math professor! Very clear explanations and keeps the class organized. Not super personal, but always professional, helpful, and willing to answer questions. Made the material easier to understand, and I appreciated their teaching style. Would definitely recommend.
LOVED him!! He was amazing definitely take him
This was an online course, and even though he uploads the notes on Blackboard through the PowerPoint, it would be helpful if he made a YouTube tutorial on how to work out the problems and work through them. If you do the review, it will help you pass the test. It's fairly similar to the test. The review is your guiding light.
Goat, great teacher, easy tests
Professor Sartor is great! You will love him so much. I didn't talk to him much, but he had a great personality and is very understanding.
I took his class this past semester and he is for sure one of the best teachers on this campus if not the best. He cares about his students and wants you to make a good grade. He is always willing to help. Class is not mandatory except when you have labs but his class is enjoyable and would deff recommend.
His class was easy but so useful! It was the only math I haven't struggled in. He is so nice and is very clear about the information. Would 100% recommend this class.
Genuinely a great teacher and wants you to succeed. I'm not good at math but I did very well in this class.
Lectures do not have mandatory attendance but ALL labs do. You get a drop test which is super helpful and Professor Sartor is really nice and understanding. Just keep up with due dates and go to tutoring offered Monday-Thursday in MSB 3000 if you're having trouble they are SO helpful. I went frequently and ended up getting a 90 in the class.
Jeff Sartor is one of the best professors for math that you can take on campus, any day. Class was easy to deal with, notes were very clearly explained throughout and I learned a lot more than I would've thought I would. Exams are easy if you know what you're doing and studying and extra credit was ALWAYS offered on any of them.
