I've been attending humber for 4 years now, and Jeff Short has been the best teacher in the program so far. A true asset to the world of academia (now if only i knew something about academia)

I enjoy going to Mr.Short's classees, he makes the material very ineresting and easy to learning; in short he does not complicate things. I have his class in the evening till six and usually students would want to go home, instead I look forward to wait on getting into the class. Mr.Short is a great teacher

Not crazy about the textbook. Way too much information in it and it is not the most interesting read. Love my professor! He teaches in a clear, concise and interesting manner. His classes are very interactive and he organizes interesting activities.

Good teaching method, but the class start at 8 is too early for some students, therefore they cannot complete the quiz that held at the beginning of class

Jeff is the best prof I you could imagine! He makes the complicated easy, and makes you feel like you can do anything. Lots of fun exercises to help you learn and really understand. He's a teaching artist! Very very cuuute with bluest eyes I've ever seen. Super nice and funny, although I don't think he knows it. Best prof!!!

I really enjoyed his class this semester. Psychology is not one of my favourite subjects but he incorporated alot of fun and relevant activities that motivated me and encouraged my interest in the subject. Mr.Short is a real good professor. He takes interest in the students and their learning. His Teaching method is very helpful and fun. It does not matter what an individual's preferred way of learning, his method will make it easy for most, if not all individuals to learn successfully.

Boring course. Useless, unfairly graded project in the end. Jeff's a good teacher, but the material was dry.

The course is absolutely helpful. The learning journal we had at the end of the course gives us a chance to perfectly explain and elaborate how we believe that Org-B is helpful in our lives and how we learned from it. Org-B is no doubt, helpful(in my case at least) and the prof just made it even better by givin realistic example & activities.

I really enjoyed that class. HRM (Human Resource Management) is not an interesting subjet, but he made it very interesting. I never get bored. The way he helps students to practice for the test were great.Always came up with real examples. He did group works everyday,it was fun. He is a good person and a good teacher. This teacher is one of my favourite over my four year program. His teaching methods would be helpful to all types of learning. He is helpful and will also advise you on what you need to improve in order to improve in his class. This is a teacher whom if you fail his class that's on you. In short, he makes learning easy, and fun.

Very passionate teacher, teaching methods are very interactive which made me feel sometimes we were in grade 3 do 'activities' to make learning fun when in a 4th year degree course - this was at times both a positive and negative.

He makes an extra effort to ensure students success. He is always prepared for class (excercises and games). My effort in his class is above avg because of his committment to us and our success. For a boring class Jeff tries to make it interested & fun for the students with activities like pancake making, and puzzle building competitions. He provides handouts that summarizes the chapters. The only difficult part is memorizing all the definitions/information for the tests. Excellent teacher.

Hes a nice teacher who cares about students that care about studies. Try to sit in the front and dont come off as a slacker and youll do fine. Kids who actually pay attention in class easily get 90+. DO NOT come off as a slacker else youll be on his sh*t list and wont do well.

Was a good teacher who did provide feedback whenever needed, but even he admits the course could be taught in 2-3 classes, so it just seemed like he had to drag things out for the whole semester.

GREAT TEACHER! this is my second time taking the class and im doing ALOT better compared to the first time taking it. He's an easy marker, tests are kind of tough, but he's willing to give bonus marks on assignments if he sees that you tried hard

Mr. Short is pretty good, it was my first time taking this course and I would take him again, very understanding and excellent help. He made me look at things from a different perspective, and gives one on one help when you ask for it!!

His effective teaching method helps us well-prepare for the upcoming classes and tests. Every lesson was very interesting and exciting through his approaching way; therefore, everyone was engaged.

This was the hardest course so far. I never worked so hard but I learned more in this course than the previous three years combined. Jeff set high standards and did a lot to help anyone willing to work to succeed. If you really want to learn about business, you will love this course. If you want an easy credit this is absolutely not for you.

Jeff has really helpful online materials to help prepare. He gives notes so you can focus on talking about cases instead of notes. No actual lectures so absolutely need to prepare. It's all cases and you learn a lot more than in most classes

He is a very experienced teacher, is always open to discuss or clarify something with you and this course is structured so that if you show up to class you can pull an easy 80. There is a group project, get to know people early and try to find those you'll want to work with. Lots of info supplied online/via handouts, not much textbook use imo

This course helped me to understand my strengths and to focus on career goals. I feel a lot more prepared to find a great job when I graduate. Assignments are hard but useful and you get feedback on several drafts before it is due so it's easy to get a good mark.

Jeff is exceptional a great professor, he enjoys teaching, and as such I learnt very well in his class.

Jeff really enjoys teaching and wants to see you pass the course with flying colours. He makes it really simple and straightforward to get a 90 or 100 in the course, just do the work, show up and study the materials he give you. It's pretty much what you can expect when having an examination

He's a dope prof, he's also the program co-ordinator. Theres a bunch of quizzes and other stuff due every week though, thats a pain. But overall, great prof.

He takes 20 - 25 minutes in teaching and assigns some group tasks to do for the rest of the class. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A FUN TIME TAKE JEFF SHORT.

Great teacher and this is my second time taking him. I would definitely recommend taking him at least once in your years at Humber. Pretty easy if you do the weekly quizzes that are there to help you and read the two page summaries, that's it. Compared to all my other classes this one was great and easy.

Professor Jeff Short is a teacher who gives you feedback in everything that you do in his class in order to excel your grades.

I have completed my first semester and Jeff is the best among other professors who have taught to me.

The course was really fun and a good reminder of what we learned in earlier semesters. Jeff was a great coach and every week was a workshop. We learned a lot as a management team in the simulation. There are assignments every week worth marks so attendance is required.

the course uses a business simulation and teams work together to make decisions each week to compete. professor jeff meets with groups to answer questions and gives advice. at end of class he advance the simulation and see our results and rank. a fun class but professor is too strict about being on time and home work

Professor Short's BMGT152 class is a great experience. The business simulation keeps things engaging, and his feedback during group meetings is super helpful. While attendance is strict, using Unstuck study alongside the course materials made studying a breeze and helped me ace the class.
