Lectures are easy to follow but can go long. Best part is he types out the lecture notes for you. He gives out review sheets, and pulls test questions straight from it. Very easy if you show up and pay attention.

This was my second attempt to take the class, I had a bad experience with the first prof I tried to take it with, which made me very wary to try again. However this teacher really made the class enjoyable. He was freindly and helpful and his tests were easy to ace.

During the semester, he always went and had Help Sessions so that way we could go to him for any additional help we needed. He is by far the best teacher at San Joaquin Delta College. Dr.Topping is incredibly easy. He can be a bit bland sometimes but it's a good class! You basically only have to go to class on Mondays, there are very few weeks when it is necessary to go MWF. If you do all the projects (which are really easy), manuscript, and independent project, there's no way you won't pass. The tests are pretty easy, too.

this teacher is great he lectures very little but his work load is so-so he has a lot of help sessions instead of lecture sessions and will help with anything. it is impossible to fail his class. stats (psych2) is confusing but if u do the work u should at least pass.

Dr. Topping divides class into lecture, study sessions, review and quiz day. Students can opt out of all but lectures and quiz. This leaves the classroom empty for those students to ask questions(one-on-one) on h.w. and projects. Easy if you do the work. Last section and/or final optional if you like your grade, you get to drop lowest score.

Awesome teacher,There are 5 units with a worksheet and project for each. THEN, there's a makeup test on units 1-4 (optional) and that score will replace all 1-4 tests' score it is BETTER THAN! C'mon! EASY! Not to mention there's "help sessions" throughout the week to finish your hw and project in class.

I took his psych 2 class to avoid Math 12. Super super easy. He is the sweetest man ever! I had an extremely tough semester...was sick a lot, lost a family member, started a new job. And he was so open and wanted to help me. He even e mailed me a few assignments when I was gone. I managed to get a B but could have gotten an A. It is a good stepping stone to Stats if you're nervous. He is very open and wants us all to pass. Makes stats so black & white it's impossible to fail!

So nice, an actual good teacher, knows how to make sure people understand. Basically you only have to come to class once a week because the others are "help sessions". Doesn't make you buy the book or scantrons. Exams are super easy. Minimal and easy homework. 5 billion chances to make up tests. May not have to take final if you've taken all tests.

Dr Topping is a great prof. He's funny and understanding, his classes are super easy. He really does everything he can to make sure you understand material, so when you don't it he gets frustrated, but that's his only downside. He just doesn't like irresponsible folks! If you can't pass his class, you're probably one of the irresponsible ones.

This class is very easy. I just wish it wasn't so early in the morning. I barely made it to class everyday. You only attend to class twice a week really. The 3rd day is usually just a help session. You don't need the book unless YOU like having one. He goes through book anyway with the study guides. This class is all about surveys, and projects.

Dr. Topping was a very nice, easy teacher. He has many optional "help sessions." The final is also optional if you are satisfied with the grade you received. This class may not be worth it to take if you are transferring to a private school because it's not an upper division class.

Professor Topping is the best instructor at Delta. His class was wonderful, he made a hard topic, Statistics understandable for the people who might struggle with math. He gives great lectures and is always available for help if you do not understand the material being covered. Would highly recommend Psych 2 and was far less scary then statistics.

Super easy class with a super cool professor. He provides a clear study guide for each exam which is what helped me a lot. If you did all exams and projects, you do not need to take the final. The final is more like extra credit, it can not hurt your grade at all.

If there's something you don't understand, there are help sessions that aren't mandatory, but can come in handy. Gives you a week to do worksheet, but can be finished in 10 minutes as long as you paid attention during lectures. Plus, he's very kind and funny!

His class is easy because he is very detailed with his lectures and gives plenty of handouts with examples and/or templates for help. There are lots of help sessions if you need extra help. He's actually fairly easy and laid back. When I took him, the beginning you show up to 2/3 sessions of the week for lecture, then a month into you just show up once a week and the other two days are if you need help. It IS easy to get an A in this class, but if you slack off don't expect it. There's an optional final to raise the grades of tests

This class is relatively easy! Three assignments per unit (chapter): worksheet, project, and exam; a total of 5 units. He passes out lecture notes and a review sheet, and both can be used for exams, along with the worksheet. Goes through everything thoroughly and makes sure everyone understands the content. Easy A!

Dr. Topping's class is very easy, as long as you put in the effort. A lot of the time he will just have "Help Sessions" so you don't even have to show up to class become it becomes more like an office hour. When he does have lectures days, do show up! As long as you pay attention, take notes, and take all the lectures, it's an easy A.

He is a good professor, gives many examples and resources for work sheets and projects. There is 1 work sheet/ project for each unit. You can do projects with a partner. There are many help sessions where you can get extra help. You can use worksheets, lecture notes, and projects during your exam.

Topping is super easy! There are 5 unit exams and a final, which seems like a lot, but if you do well on the 5 unit exams, projects, and worksheets, you don't have to take final. The worksheets and projects are really easy because he offer a lot of help sessions which take place during class so it is easy to get help and understand.

I highly recommend this class! It is super easy. I would consider making this your last class of the day because he has help sessions which are like 3 to 4 days depending, and if you know the material you don't have to go to the help sessions and you can go home. There are 5 units and they're super easy!

Professor Toppings is awesome! He actually makes you want to come to class and learn and even the projects are things that you'd actually enjoy doing. The exams he lets you use your notes on it which helps ALOT. I would definitely recommend this class especially with his help sessions definitely sets you up to pass the class.

Easily one of the best professors at SJDC. I took this class in the summer and it was a breeze. He let us use our notes and "study guides" on the test. The final is optional, if you don't take it, it doesn't harm your grade. It can only help your grade. His life stories are also very interesting and inspirational.

He is a great Professor! The majority of your grade will come from projects & the manuscript so make sure you get those in. About 75% of the time you leave an hour early or dont have to go at all unless you need help. Final is optional.

This was my final class to get my degree-PSYCH 2 Intro To Psych Stats 5065. Professor Topping provided a class that was not complicated, was super fast at grading and so responsive to emails. If only all Professors at Delta were as caring and compassionate, and genuinely cared about their students, I'm sure more students would graduate. Loved him!!

Professor Topping has been my favorite math teacher since I've been at Delta and I used to be that student that HATED math. I had Mr. Topping for psychology 2 for summer 2020, and it has been one of my favorite classes at Delta by far. The workload is NOTHING compared to other classes. Everything is very straightforward and honestly really easy.

He is the absolute BEST professor I have ever had. In his class, you will learn and also pass the class at the same time. There is no book assigned for this class. He gives PDF lectures and a worksheet that must be completed. His class is super easy to pass. In the end, there is a final exam that is optional but if you do it you get a lot of points

The absolute BEST professor to take for Psych 2. Dr. T did an excellent job transitioning to online learning. Things are very well explained and easy to understand. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. T. Lecture notes cover everything. Print them out, highlight, study & you're set. Gives plenty of time for assignments and exams. I've never left a review for any Professor before, but Dr. Topping was by far the EASIEST Professor I could've ever had. You have the same 3 things every 3 weeks which consisted of 1 worksheet due Sunday, 1 project due the following Sunday, and 1 exam the following Sunday. Easiest course I've ever taken for a mathematics requirement! The class consists of 5 units, in which he assigns a week for each section - homework, project, then test. Class consisted of 5 modules (1 worksheet, 1 project, and 1 exam for each). The course was really easy just show up to the lectures. Very time manageable, he responds to messages really quickly, and he offers extra credit that is a huge help if you do badly in the class. This was the only math class that I ever understood how to do. Take his class!

Professor Topping is probably the easiest teacher I've ever had. He has one assignment a week making it super easy to do the work. Each assignment has a "cheat sheet" to help you, and the final for the class was optional.

One of my absolute favorite professors! Clear with his instructions and straight forward.

Every assignment was straightforward and lectures were summarized pretty well. Homework is given once a week, a project would follow the next week, and then a exam a week after a project. There were 5 exams, 4 projects, and 5 homework assignments total. The final was also optional as a bonus and would only raise your grade if you completed it.

I took him for Fall '22 and he was great!!! It was an early morning class but he was still able to make the math make sense, and was never strict about punctuality. He was very helpful whenever there was confusion, and was very easily accessible online for whenever we had questions. He clearly cares for his students.

Professor Topping is super easy going and the class is so easy just show up and try your best. As long as you put even a little effort in you are like guaranteed to pass with at least a C. He doesn't give that much work and lectures are really simple.

Had this online for Spring semester and I absolutely loved Dr. Topping! It is easy, he give you the week to complete the assignments and has study guides, tell you the sections to look at to prepare for exams. His lectures are pretty straightforward, make sure to watch the video uploads, they will help a lot not the hw assignments and projects.

I loved having professor Topping as a stats teacher, his class in my opinion was very easy to maneuver due to his great planning and class structure. He has his whole semester planned out and is very responsive to any questions one may have, Even during the weekend! You can see how helpful he is with his students and his priority is your success.

Dr. Toppling is exceptional! He makes this class very easy and understandable. He provides lots of great lectures, study guides, etc. for the work assignments, projects, and tests. I felt very confident in taking the tests. I waited to take this math class last but it was one of my easier classes because of the way Dr. Toppling teaches it.

Dr. Topping was my favorite professor this semester! He is awesome and makes the class super easy to pass! The modules are filled with lecture notes and handouts to help you. He explains how to solve problems in a detailed, yet understandable way. Topping also responds very fast to emails, including on weekends. Take his class, you won't regret it!

lovely professor, easy work as long as you take the time to read the lessons and do practice work, work isn't so difficult6 if you understand. would take again nice guy, clear grading and gives additional feedback if needed.

PLEASE PLEASE take Professor Topping! He was amazing. One worksheet/exam or project due a week. He is very helpful and cares about you passing his class. He made my life extremely easy because I had time to focus on other classes besides his. I would HIGHLY recommend you take his Psych 2 course, you won't regret it.

One of the easiest courses I have ever taken. Dr. Topping explains concepts very well and effectively. He offers extra hours if students have difficulty understanding. He is very strict on deadlines and does not accept late work. However the weekly assignments are extremely quick and easy to complete.

Dr. Topping is amazing professor, he really cares that his students pass and comprehend the material. He has his class and curriculum set to where it's not overwhelming and everything is straight forward. He is also very helpful if you ever need help or come across questions he responds very quick. I have never been good in Math and I got an A.

Incredible professor. He explains every step of the class very clearly and provides easy-to-understand reading material. It was my first time taking statistics, and I learned a lot and got an A, you just have to read everything and watch the lectures, and you will do great in his class.

He's cool, there's nothing wrong with him as a professor..but…he doesn't know how to use the Canvas App!!! It's very confusing everything on there is only for HIS understanding, which is so annoying. He doesn't use the assignment tab so you will never know what's work,how many assignments or when they're due so frustrating. He needs to change this.

Highly recommend Professor Topping. Weekly assignments consisting of multiple choice questions, and you can use the notes for everything, even tests. Optional final, but added benefits if you choose to take it. Doesn't use the Assignments tab on Canvas, so you don't know if something is due, but just read the announcements and you'll be fine.

Professor topping was a awesome professor his grading system is made so no one fails his class and his lectures are helpful along with giving you help days for you to attend if you need the extra help

Very easy-going teacher but instead of the regular 11:59 pm Sunday schedule, worksheets are due Friday by noon anything between 12:01-4:00pm is docked 50% and anything after 4pm is a 0. Projects are due Saturday by noon with same grading criteria and exams are due Sunday by noon with same grading criteria. You do not have until Sunday at 11:59pm.

Excellent laid back professor. He has his online class designed to pass. He communicates often and timely through canvas email. The equations are not hard just tedious, but explained very clearly and in detail. This class was chosen as my math requirement, and math is my worst subject. But I really enjoyed the class.

I took online class and never seen him in person but he is the most caring professor. He help wrote me recommended letter more than one time. He was the only professor that email me back during the time l apply for scholarship, other professor they either ignore or refuse to help

He is the best professor I ever had at Delta. we had quizzes but it is very easy. The final exam is optional too.

He is a very nice and understanding professor. If you need help with the assignments, he will help you.

Great teacher would definitely recommend

I never thought I would enjoy a statistics class, but Dr. T changed that. His lectures are clear, well-organized, and paced so students don't feel overwhelmed. The projects were fun and helped concepts click. I learned a lot and gained a real appreciation for how statistics apply to everyday life. Huge bonus: zero textbook cost. Highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend taking Professor Topping if you need to take Psych2 assignments were super easy and clear to understand. Dr.Topping replies fast if you have any question and is always available to help! Best class ever I would definitely taking another course with him if I need too.
