Do you want to pass??? Not a problem!
Gives interesting examples and clear explainations.
funny guy ^^
Aging and development course not recommended

Okay....there's the bell so lets get started! Great teacher, very enthusiastic!
The best psyc teacher. funny, clear, well organized lectures
keeps it alive, hard to do with boring subject
awesome teacher, but unclear on some stuff. STUDY MATERIAL DAILY
Gives good funny! smart, witty, has a heart and it still beats!!
Hard notetaking, but easy exams
Excellent teacher, gives good examples, attempts to joke (not so successful!) Only complaint: can be very biased about some material. Exams are easy if you've read the material, and attended class. Exams are all MC, and non-accumulative....easy final!

He makes jokes that aren't funny then thinks we don't have a sense of humor when no one laughs. Sympathy laughs are good, they make him like you better!
Man this guy talks forever!! the sad thing is that his jokes are not funny !! His tests are soo damn hard and they kill your brains out! Overall..he is a nice guy...
At least he tries to joke!!! Better than most psych profs! Tests are easy as long as you study, no problem.
ok let me get this straight with everyone! first of all..this guy is really nice and he is very funny...the only problem that i see here his tests...they are too damn hard. otherwise..his class is fun fun funtastic! now stop whining!!!
A great teacher. Gets out of his way to make students understand the subject. Very enthusiastic and funny. Cracks corny jokes. Tests are not hard if you attend class. One bad thing, he uses every minute of the classtime, so g/l running to ur next class!
AWESOME teacher! Loved his class, did better than expected. Tests are fair, not too hard, or easy. Makes class interesting, definitely study h/o on studies he conducted. Would recommend his class to anyone. Gives new perspective on old ppl.
not good
awesome guy.very interesting.
He's a very funny guy...makes the classes pretty etertaining. midterms are a bit tough, but they get easier once you are used to his exam style. Final was really easy, but kinda touch on paper assignment.

He's such a fun guy! Great teacher, funny, nice, and easy to talk to. His tests are a bit tough, but if you put an effort and study it's not that bad. He uses all of the class time, and never cancels the classes.
easy tests, makes lectures fun
He is a great teacher with a good sense of humour... awesome lectures which really teach you things and are full of things you didn't already know from reading the book... definitely worth the time and the money... Thanks Jeff
He is one of the bad teache i ahv ever had. he is such an idiot teacher i have ever seen.I feel so sorry for him.he is educated ,but he doesnt know how to speak politely with students.
he's a great teacher. he makes the classes really interesting, and gives lots of examples to get students to understand. Must study for tests to do well.
Jeff is a hilarious teacher, who uses great examples to make his points. Really enthusiastic about psychology, tests are fair just study use the text and cd rom. Assignment was easy, 3 test A is doable with some effort.
He is a hilarious prof and has a very interesting class. If u study u should do well on the exams. Everything is straight out of the text book.
great
very funny and easy to follow.
-sometimes interesting and sometimes boring. If he gets off topic in class, just raise your hand and tell him or tell him after class. He sometimes uses vulgar language which may offend his students. It offended me a lot. -tests are very tough!
I've just seen some bad reviews for him, and I can reccomend for students that if they are interested in this course, he is a great teacher. If you are not serious and don't study, don't blame him and wish that he drops dead from leukemia. He is awesome!
i dont know if hes easy but if u have ever had him, can u be straight forward? is he easy or hard? can u do well with a text or do u need to study notes from class?
i dunno about you, but id rather get an A in some other teachers clas than get amused and get a C in his class...this guy is just way too tough for the first year psychology!i wouldnt recommend it to ppl who want to boost up their GPA as well as learn psy
hard teacher, yet he makes it easy to learn from his notes. watch out for suprise quizzes, midterms are kinda tough, but mostly from text..study in class notes!
Good and interesting teaching methods. Mid-terms are kinda tough but all mc.
He is a GREAT prof!! He is very interested in the subject matter and it shows, his lectures are easy to follow, esp. if your 1st year. I got A's in both of his classes. Just study his notes and text, and you'll be fine. Jeff Rocks!
Easy course but very high grade cut off points. B+ is within the 80-84 range his tests are super easy but he gives quizzes which can lower your mark.
Easy exams. Pop quizs bring marks down unless you constantly study.
TOOK THE COURSE 4 YEARS AGO,THE BEST MARK I EVER GOT IN PSYCH. JUST MEMORIZE HIS NOTES AND THE TEXTS, AND YOU WILL DO FINE. HE REALLY RESPECTS HIS STUDENTS, AND LISTENS TO THEIR QUESTIONS. GOOD PROF,SHOULD BE TEACHING AT UBC, WHERE HE CAN DO MORE RESEARCH
Awesome teacher!
I really liked this class. His tests are not easy and his pop quizzes are brutal but the trade-off is worth it because he knows how to teach a class. Informative, funny and helpful.
Interesting lectures. Very picky about assignment. Repeats same jokes every semester. likes cartoons. Drives a motorcycle. Cool Teacher! beware of pop quizes. read the book!! also: not all info is in the book. take/study notes.
midterms and finals are quite easy, but assignments and pop-quizes are pretty darn hard. lecture is very clear and fun. doesn't give out too many notes but when he does you'd better take it or cry during his pop-quiz.
Uses outlandish examples. Tries to be funny instead of teaching. Some quizzes are off topic.
He doesnt do pop quizes anymore!
what an entertainer =) funny, and not afraid to embarass himself (youll stay awake) good notes, tests arent bad at all. he makes class fun, highly recommended!
jeff is such a funny guy. i had his 3 years ago and i still remember his lame/hillarious jokes. he has a passion for teaching and knows his stuff. he makes school seem less stressful because he's very casual. his tests are easy, his notes are good. highly recommended
jeff webster is pretty funny during his lectures, his midterms are okay all multiple choice, just read the book and his notes and you should do fine
Great prof, very funny guy. He makes his lectures very easy to listen to n he talks at the right pace so you can take down notes very easily. Didnt care for this psyc field in the beginning but he's got me intrigued. Exams are not very hard if you spend equal amount of time studying his notes n text
bad prof. not politically correct.

hes a good teacher only two assignments and mc tests if you go over the material you should be able to get atleast a b on exams. jokes are kinda lame.
Jeffery Dean is an awesome teacher!! Love his casual thursdays with the marathon shirts. Makes his classes interesting and his exams are very fair as long as you put the time into it. Always willing to help you understand stuff and makes time for his students.
Nothing special
Very informative. Just do the usual: attend class, take notes, listen attentively, study... Occasionally he will crack some jokes. I think the big thing here is attend class. I missed a class or two which sucked cause the information wasn't in a textbook, it was in the lecture itself, and we needed it for big projects.
WORST TEACHER EVER!! MAKES PYSCH MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT REALLY IS AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR HELP HE MAKES YOU FEEL STUPID. DONT TAKE HIM!!
Very enjoyable. It's simple: go to class, participate, do a moderate amount of studying and you will at least achieve a 'b'. He is entertaining, and even his 'lame' jokes are funny, because he's having fun and he knows they're lame. To those people who say otherwise, I have never heard a prejudice word out of his mouth.
Althought Jeff has interesting lectures most of the time, his unit tests are pretty intense. CRAZY INTENSE!
his lectures are not bad...he tells alot of jokes dat r not funny and tries 2 hard 2 be funny... his tests and assignments are crazily hard...soo i reccomend not taking him
As much as i like his lectures, he's tests are freaken hard! he always says that "There are no excuses that you wont get 100% on this assignment" and at the end half of the class fails it...besides that he's lectures are pretty good and also the final is not accumulative...so he is OK...need to study hard or else you ll fail for sure!
boring lectures and super hard tests
Lectures are very interesting, he is a funny, funny guy.In regards to his exams, they are hella hard. Make sure you really know methods and terminology and you should get a 'b'. He makes note taking a breeze. I wouldn't suggest missing any of his classes otherwise you will miss something very important!!!!! Assignments are relatively easy :)
bad prof. this mt is hard as hell. class notes = useless you are better off studying by yourself with text book + study guide. stay away from him!
Miss a class=miss info that is not in the book but on the test!!!,his classes are boring cause he spends too much time getting a simple point across, tests are straightfoward, if you like a relaxing slow paste class it is definetly what you would get with Jeff.Watch out for small ass.make sure u understand what he is asking for!
WEBSTER IS THE BEST PROF AT LANGARA. He is funny, passionate and intelligent. His lectures are hilarious, especially the cartoons. Take him!! Obviously people with bad things to say didn't try and are blaming their failure on the wrong person! Come on people this is college, of course you have to go to class and read to earn a good GPA.
only good thing about him is dat all his tests are mc...BUT...tests are very hard....other then dat....he suks...lol....and he tries way tooo hard to be funny...his jokes suks ass
I love this teacher. he has awesomely cheesy jokes, he makes sure everyone understands what he is teaching to ensure that students actually learn something. Yes his exams are hard, but as long as you listen and take notes you will do well! just like any other class, do the work and pass. We Love you Jeff!!!!
i like this funny teacher, but the tests were hard, and the time were not enough for me.i tried my best to do the final test,at last,i feel confident~the best way to follow this course was by read through the whole text--every sentences, then remember it,and using during the exam~take this course,if you are a good reader~that's it.
i auditted in his class. jokes are really funny. he knows what students like and he'll make classes interesting. notes and everything is clear and really helpful
he tries way too hard 2 be funny....and his jokes sucks....his lectures are pretty good....but his tests are DAMN hard!!!...atleast its all mc
He is ok funny. He can explains concept. His midterm is VERY hard. Wait until you get your frist midterm, you wish you study like there is no tomrorow. If you want some course just to pull your GPA, this is not one of them.
I hate his teaching worst psych teacher EVER
one word: awesome!
He tries too hard to be funny, it was ok for the first couple of days but it started to get annoying. He uses PowerPoint presentation in his lectures, which I think prevents people from paying attention to what he's saying, since they only copy the stuff from the screen. Other profs kind of "force" you to listen by writing down the keywords only.
yep his jokes are very repetitive and boring, his teaching style is incosistent sometimes he does pp sometimes overheads or just writes on the board.. makes you watch videos , even though they're not mandatory. BUT WHY WASTE CLASS TIME ON THEM?!?! you can watch them at the lab anyway
a great instructor! recommend!
funny interesting guy, overall, a nice guy. however, his marking scale is high and tough.. you'll still need to read the text, where inclass lecture is not enough for sure.
rather than attending his class. textbooks seem to be more useful than his notes, his tests are base on textbooks instead of his useless notes. most profs' exams are base on their inclass notes, apparently, he's note :@
Extremely hard marker. He keeps saying that his exam will be easy & that everybody should get 100 per cent, and then he takes a sadistic delight in giving you a ?0? if your answer was not exactly what he was expecting. He is actually enjoying writing down on your paper a ?0? instead of, for example, an ?X.? He often makes **** remarks, & looks do
He is inconsiderate, self centered, & has an over inflated ego. He is disrespectful towards his students. If you are an immigrant, he might even satirize your country of origin in a very subtle way. Very stingy marker. Enjoys giving 0 for your effort that may not be quite accurate.
Yes, Jeff is arrogant and/or insecure, corny, loves to tell you how everyone got their APA style wrong, annoying power points, hard marker BUT: when it came down to it he rocks as a teacher. He will take extra time to explain things to you clearly until you get it. Great office hours, marks anally but with lightning speed.
Jeff is an awesome prof:take him(instead of Don) for 2320 ifuget the chance.Lectures were very informative+enjoyable. He didn't bombard us w/ assignments & was extremely helpful w/ the res paper. He was very fair w/ marking. if u put in the effort you'll do extremely well(Don't listen to the slackers)He was everything but arrogant, rude & insincere.
Hard Marker! Avoid Like a Plague.
A miserable hard marker.
Pathetic
had to get used to tests, but they're really not that hard. Dont whine just cuz u dont study. I studied one night and got B+. good teacher. gives very clear examples.I appreciate that he tries to make class enjoyable, whether his jokes are hit or miss. He's getting paid to teach, not to entertain. never found him offensive. grow up people
If you are interested in Psychology, Jeff Webster is the man. He is very knowledgeable and has a passion for the subject. He great at teaching as well. He was my favorite Professor this semester.
Points for being a likeable professor, but could be clearer, more organized, and better prepared. Sometimes answers questions with unnecessary circumlocutions. Tests are fair and consistent. Overall I was quite satisfied with the course. Read the textbook!
Gave out a totally confusing assignment then went away for two weeks without returning e-mails until four days before it was due. Overall a good teacher but for the things you think you would get the most help with he is the least helpful. Fair marker.
good prof! tests are fairly easy if you read the textbook. tries to liven up lectures by cracking jokes. some lectures may be dull but overall not bad!
At first doesn't appear to be a good teacher but once you get going in the course he is very helpful and goes into detail to make sure all students understand the concepts. Read the textbook prior to each test. If you don't, don't expect a good mark.
this guy is too cocky, who cares if he wrote a book when he can't teach basic concepts. completely ruined my interest in psychology
Terrible teacher. Hard assignments and tests. He goes in circles around his points and goes far too fast for anyone to absorb any information and then says that his tests are easy. I advise not taking this guy or you risk dumping your GPA and interest in Psych.
He is the worst teacher ever. No need to explain more. Take him if you have extra money in your bank and room in your transcript for an F =(
Webster is a good instructor and it's clear that he likes teaching. His jokes don't always go over, but that's probably owing to the prevailing youth of the class. He is approachable during office hours. If you are an engaged student who reads the text, comes to class, and participates in discussion you will do well in his class.
I don't understand some of these very negative comments. Webster is a decent guy. I think some people take psych thinking it is a bird course, then figure out too late that it isn't, and get pissed off. It's just like any other course. Study the text, and ask him if you have issues. Suck it up.
Please disregard all the reviews that are 'one liners' especially those w/ negative comments. His lectures are very interesting and I appreciate how he tries relate the material to real life situations. Only downside is that you have to copy down notes, but that encourages people to attend class. STUDY the textbook religiously and you will do well.
I don't agree with the negative comments those come from the slack students sitting in the back talking and on their laptops. He's clear and tries to make class interesting. You could skip and just copy someones notes. you have to study from the notes AND book. His last test and assignment is always easy. It depends if YOU'RE interested in psych.
I don't understand all the negative comments :( His 2hr lecture just flies by. very passionate & approachable. He repeats and go over stuff that might confuse students countless times. He oftens says "if you get it, you can leave early" and more then half of the class just leaves. STICK AROUND! really beneficial
I wish he'd stop chewing gum. But he's a good teacher overall.
My favorite teacher & class last semester. His lectures are interesting if you pay attention & participate. I would recommend thoroughly reading over the textbook before tests. Really got me interested in Psychology!
resarch methods class- great prof. tries to make class fun. tells lame jokes :) this class requires a lot of work. especially at the end of the semester with the research project. choose your group members carefully! midterms are very fair. read his notes and textbook and you'll be fine. great prof overall. I recommend taking this course with him.
By far my favourite teacher at Langara. I have had him for 1115, 1215, and 2320. He's hilarious. He makes every concept so much fun to learn and is extremely helpful with any problems you have. Tests are usually most, if not all, multiple choice. If you know your stuff you'll do well. Take his class!
Jeff is a fantastic professor! His class has a structured pacing, you know exactly what to expect. 4, 60-question multiple choice tests for the semester and a few little assignments. Read the text properly and pay attention in class and you'll do great. He's really funny and very helpful too. I'll definitely take another one of his classes.
He is funny, tries to make jokes all the time&i feel bad no one laughs sometimes. Make sure to read the book. Lots of grpwork. Tests are easy mc if you really read the book. There is gonna be a statistic test on 1 exam but it's pretty easy. Take him if you can!
good class. pretty boring but moderately dificult. dont take this for just an easy mark. also expect to spend lots of time on the project. as for the prof... serious ego problems.
highest midterm i got was B. can't say i like his multiple choice questions. getting an A seemed impossible to me. i find his lectures funny and somewhat engaging, although i only need to read the textbook and i'm already hooked. he likes to defy the content order of the textbook & sometimes adds in notes outside of textbook material.
Jeffrey Webster is by far one of the best profs ive ever had at Langara. He is engaging and entertaining when he shares his wisdom towards Psychology. I really recommend taking a class with him! hes the besttttttttttttttttttt... SUPERRRRRRRRRRR NICEEEE! overall funny and awesome!!!!
Friendly, approachable, and funny! Read the textbook! Do practice MC questions. Non-cumulative. Unit exams are all MC. You have to take notes! Pay attention in class because examples and experiment results mentioned are tested on exams! 2 short assignments. Must participate in 2 student research experiments - easy! Great prof!
Have you ever sat through a bad comedy routine? I have never wanted my money back so bad.
Jeff is a pretty good instructor, my first instructor on my first year of school here. He knows a lot about psych and gives examples that relate to us well. B!
Jeff is a good professor. I sort of feel as though he moves a bit too fast sometimes, but always tries to slow down and explain concepts that you may be lost on. I also sort of wish he didn't chew gum in class, but that's just me. Textbook reading is mandatory. Tests are pretty fair in terms of difficulty and content. Overall good work Jeff!
Jeff is a great professor, I really enjoyed his class. Lots of note taking (no printouts). Good examples given in class, makes things clear. His exams are straight from the practice exams that the Psych lab gives out, do them and read every word of the assigned chapters. Exams aren't cumulative and all multiple choice. He's funny if you're older.
Jeff is funny. He is an active speaker and, though he goes quickly, doesn't move on to the next topic before making sure everyone understood. Sit near the front; if you sit near the back you'll get heckled. Exams 75% textbook/25% in-class notes. Non cumulative final. I recommend!
His lecture is funny, but his Mid term are so hard. The mutipule choice question can rather be the info from text or his in class notes. The average mark for the last exam for the whole class was 28 out of 60, and some of the question were not been thought in the lecture or in the text.It is like, you put your whole effort in and the result is bad.
I don't know where to start. Webster is a great guy, and he has good intentions, he obivously cares about what he's teaching but I found him to be my most challenging class in 1115 and 1215, this was due to his exams and although I liked him as a person I didn't like him as an instructor unfortunately.
Jeff is funny, a great speaker, and interesting, but gives incredibly hard exams. I studied for hours and hours and poured everything I had into those exams and ended up doing quite poorly. The class average per midterm was just below 50% and he mocked us for it rather than toning it down (it's a first-year course, for Christ's sake!)
An absolute terrible teacher. He will give you all these notes but not half of that stuff is on the exams. you have to do your own reasearch in the textbook too. His exams are all MC but the questions are meant to confuse you cause they usually dontmake sense. Nice enough guy but I did not enjoy his class at all.
Lectures are straightforward and often times fun and will really get your attention.Jeff posts notes online.Though the exams are hard, the lectures are worth your money.Seat in the first-five rows in front for better understanding.
Jeff is a great teacher!! He's so funny and actually enjoys teaching. Yeah, of course it's gonna be hard... Duh. Think of having a different prof for this subject... Scary... We are very lucky to have a teacher like him.
Jeff is one of the best teacher I have had at Langara. His lecture are funny and you enjoy the two hour class. I recommend to come to all class for notes since he doesn't post them online. The midterms, paper and final are all doable if you listen to all the lectures and he is not a hard marker at all. The stories he tells in class are just great!
Jeff is a great teacher. He is funny, and loves to tell stories/jokes. His tests are very fair, but you MUST read the chapters or use the study guide, as his notes do not cover even half of what is on the test. That being said, very good and easy class. Just make sure to read. I LOVE JEFF
Jeff isn't bad. His jokes are super lame and you wonder how the hell he has a Ph.D, but his tests are easy if you're good at MC and read the textbook. There's one assignment (easy enough). He posted a lot of the notes online, so I didn't bother attend class half the time. Interesting material, but it can get dull listening to him. Not bad at all.
Jeff was a great Teacher. Engaging and enthusiastic. "Dad" senceof humour. Always had a good time in class.
He's very funny and always tries his best to make his lecture funny and engaging! Though his exams are a bit hard, you can actually get a pretty good mark if you study well. Plus, he's very helpful! Don't be shy to ask him questions because he's actually really nice and respectful. 60 m.c., mostly ~50 based on textbook, and ~10 on his lecture.
Excellent Prof! He makes a dry course enjoyable with his sense of humour and down to earth manner. 3 multiple choice exams which are easy if you read the textbook thoroughly. Make sure you have a good group for the term project. Term project relatively easy if you work with like-minded people. I wish I could take another course with Jeff!
Professor Webster was excellent! He made a subject that I thought was going to be dull much more interesting. He really cares about his students and it shows.
Made lectures enjoyable. Fair midterms: mainly M/C and 1 S/A. Attend class, write down notes, read assigned chapters. Find a good group. Group project is always most stressful (and time consuming), but Jeff is very helpful if you ask kindly. It's only a difficult course if you make it to be.
Genuine guy who wants you to do well. Always makes lectures interesting and humorous with quirky examples. Exams were all multiple choice (and a non-cumulative final!).
Jeff is a nice guy. He was a little unorganized but seeing as though he was teaching at a new school for a semester (Kwantlen), it's understandable. Perhaps he should have used a rubric so students would be a little more clear as to his expectations but overall he was a good teacher. His lectures were pretty engaging.
Great prof. For future students: 1. His tests are very focused on the textbook. Study the textbook! 2. Choose your group wisely!! These people will be with you for the whole semester. Start looking for potential group members the first day of classes. 3. A bit scatterbrained. He's funny, makes class enjoyable! Highly recommend.
Jeff's lecture notes and humor can be painfully dated at times. Someone called it dad-humor, but it's getting to be grandad-humor. I liked his in-class exercises which provided good hands-on examples of the concepts being taught. He's most interesting to listen to when he talks about his own research. Tests are mainly MC (MUST read textbk)
Total "Dad" sense of humour, but that broke up some of the dry course material and made me laugh a few times. IMO, easy to follow lectures. Make sure you do the readings. Come to class for videos or ask him or classmates for titleslinks. Covers a lot of broad material in just one semester in plain language, easy to follow.
Honestly, if you study the textbook and his slides, you'll get an A. The semester is broken into 4 exams that are only on two chapters each, and an assignment that's not too difficult. Make notes on the textbook, write out your notes in classlook at the slides, study them, do the study guide, do the practice tests.
He was very clear about his expectations from the students. His exams were always multiple choice 60 questions. Lectures were a blast,I did enjoy his sense of humor!Finals is going to be the last two chapters in the book. I 'm happy that I don't have to study the entire semester of notes. A book plus class notes. Totally achievable!
Took this class as a GPA boaster.. bad idea. There are 3 midterms and a final two chapters each. You would think that his isn't bad but his lecture notes are scattered and not complete so you need to read, learn and study the chapters by yourself to pass the tests. Tests are straight from the textbook and include 3-4 qs on in class videos.
This teacher is very clear in lectures. He follows the textbook closely but because of his experience he knows how to present the material in a way that makes it very easy to understand.
Be careful With Dr Jeff! His handouts are extremely unclear, do not cover things from the book and contains context off the book, and he will exam them all. He is a very tough marker, expects us to know every detail. Not very patient at explaining things. Always try to be funny and end up telling not-that-funny jokes and fail to get to the points.
A fantastic teacher, I highly recommend taking his classes
Jeff is a very kind person and research methods seemed like a hard subject to teach, i think he did a good job at teaching the material and i would take him again. BUT he's all over the place with the MASSIVE semester-long group project you have to do. He would tell the class one thing and then change his mind later on and wasn't especially clear.
Jeff has the best dad jokes of any professor I've ever had. He doesn't take himself too seriously, which was great at first but also gave the wrong impression. As we got into the semester, we realized that although he is a jokester, he is a hard grader. The group project was long and difficult and the exams are very confusing.
He is the reason I fell in love with psychology and have decided to make it my major. I recommend taking any class he teaches (I've already taken two)
The class is not useful at all I don't feellike I learned anything.
Jeff is a very nice professor. He often give silly jokes to make the lecture engaging and sometimes connect the concepts to real life situations. There will be three midterms and one final. The exams involves 60 MC questions. In my personal opinion, read the book and read his PPTS in order to pass these exams.
His question are multiple choice, I felt lost in his course he does not tell you about the mid or final you have to remember. Worst professor I have ever taken course with. I usually do not like to write a negative feedback but I couldn't!!! the course grading was unfair too.
You really have to read the textbook if you want to do well on exams. He only touches on a few major points in the chapters assigned. Other than that, his lectures are really engaging.
Ugh, okay. Jeff is a nice guy, he really is. But he goes off topic a LOT with personal stories that I honestly didn't find relevant to the material and it made it nearly impossible to focus during his lectures. That being said, there were a few students that did find him funny and engaging, so might just be me. Tests are all MC and easy. Studypass
He's a super prof. I have taken 4 classes with him and I really like his lectures. All his notes are on powerpoint but he sometimes shows videos not in the powerpoints that appear on the test. He makes lectures interesting though so I recommend going to his lectures. His classes are the reason I switched to Psyc as my major.
Great prof, just wish he kept all his slides up so students can redownload if they lose them somehow. His anecdotes are all real gems.
Jeff has very engaging lectures and is open to help you learn during his office hours if you feel like you are behind. The content in this class is dry at times but Jeff manages to put everything into a perspective that is not only informative but also interesting.
He's very nice but he shouldn't be in the field of teaching. He doesn't know how to teach! I just showed up in his lecture for five times and dropped it. His handout contains lots of contents off the textbook. Even,he didn't tell us what to read for exams. Just bring a pillow and prepare for Zzzzz.. Avoid his class if u can! ! !
I really enjoy class with Jeff Webster. He is very easy going and makes learning the material fun. I swear the only class that my prof makes me laugh.
Jeff can be hit or miss, he is very passionate about what he does and it certainly shows in his lectures, he is highly knowledgable, and his tangents are generally interesting, however he has a tendency to over-explain concepts, has absolutely horrid dad jokes (The. Worst. I've. Ever. Heard.) and will pick on whoever sits in the front row.
One group project. Everyone gets the same mark. Paper is worth 20%, poster is 8%. Three exams (2 midterms + 1 final) each worth 24%. All noncumulative. All of them are textbook heavy, but come to class because he includes some things that aren't in the textbook. Not a bad guy, but kinda scattered. But he'll answer your questions, nice guy.
Dr. Webster is a solid choice, his lectures are a interesting, and he will use videos and examples he used in class on tests. Really easy going prof who cares about his students!
