J. Weav is a beast among men. He's a brilliant professor and you can tell he loves what he's doing. It's not hard to make a great grade and learn some math if you just do the homework and go to class. He tells you what types of problems will be on the exams and is very straightforward. There is only one word that can describe this instructor and that is AWESOME. He tells you exactly how many problems are on the test and what kind of problem each number is a day b4 the test. Homework isnt due till the day after the test. And his notes are awesome. He will break it all the way down for you and will help you at any time u need it.

GREAT TEACHER!! He explains everything great and even if you still don't understand he'll take it from the beginning again until you do understand! The only thing I don't like is that you have to take a departmental final! How do you have an A all year and then get a B because of the final! It's not his fault though!

He tells you exactly whats going to be on the test, he gives you homework problems to do before the next class,which there is only ten problems. Ive learned a lot that I didnt know before taking his class. Youll learn new ways how to work math problems that will go a long way when you are teaching.

Mr. Weaver is very accomplished in his knowledge of mathematics. He is clear, however, if something is obvious to him that is not obvious to you he tends to be obtuse about clarifying exactly what you ask from him. He is clear about what to expect on exams. Know that if you take his class over the summer there is material left out of the subject.

If you're the type to whine about having to show work in a math course, AVOID THIS CLASS. However if you truly want to learn, Mr. Weavers course is for you. He has an incredible passion for teaching that shows each day. He can be sarcastic and his humor is often cringe-worthy, but the man can math.

He is an awesome teacher. I have never been good at math and I did very well. He will help you in any way he can. He has a review class before every test. He loves math and believes it should be done a certain way. You ALWAYS have to show your work and he does a grade upgrade on tests. TAKE HIM!

I highly recommend this teacher if you're taking any remedial math classes or struggling in math like i was. I took Tebault for 094 and failed, and now I'm taking Weaver, and I have the highest grade in my class! He not only clarifies all his lessons, but he's preparing you for math 101. Actually half of the semester, youre learning skills for 101

Mr. Weaver is very clear in his methods and never skips any steps at all, making it easy to understand concepts. I suggest you do the homework before he teaches it. He is a great math teacher. He explains every step very clearly and then some. Only way you won't pass this class is if you don't try at all. Attendance counts as like 10% of the grade so you don't HAVE to go to class but he's sometimes specific of how he wants you to answer things on the test and you'll miss that if you don't go. Hope this helps

I am not a math wiz at all, he is very clear cut and will help you; BUT you have to ask for it. DO NOT be afraid to ask for help, even though he comes off strong he is a great math teacher for those who are struggling i would DEF take him again!!

Terrible humor, but at-least he tries. Must attend and pay very close attention to pass. Plenty of examples and time to ask questions. Horrible at responding to emails in a timely fashion. LOTS of homework. You as a student are never right, what he believes or says is what goes even if the whole class backs you on something.

What a wonderful and caring professor. I honestly wish he taught 101. He made sure the class understood the material. He takes his time with the class. Homework is a must, and there is a lot of it. You definitely have to work for your grade, but he is there for you every step of the way. He cracks jokes often, and has an awesome personality.

This guy is incredible! I never enjoyed doing math as much as when I did it in his class. He's always there if you need him, if something doesn't make sense go to him and he'll help without a doubt. He can be a little rough, but respect him(he deserves it), put forth your full effort, and you'll be in good shape.

He is a very good MATH teacher. I currently have a 100% in his class. Weaver is the best 094 class to pick because he started with taking remedial math when he started college. Everyone I notice who are not doing well are people not turning in work, not raising their hand for help, or simply don't care about passing.

I am horrible at math and I have made an A on all tests and homework in this class. Participation is important and he doesn't mind helping if you can't understand. I'd take him again. He's the best math teacher Ive ever had.

Amazing Professor, teaches everything in full detail. Wants you to learn the concept of the lesson entirely and not just how to get an answer.
