If you can get into his class take it. I had friends in the online section and they struggled. Jeff is very in depth and gives tons of examples. He makes the class interesting and encourages class participation. If i had not had him as a teacher i don't think i would have done as well as i did. He is the best Financial accounting teacher at UCF.

The man is a life saver. He actually wants you to pass! 40% of your grade is imposible not to get full credit for unless you are really lazy! He takes the time to engage the class and makes people laugh and he is amazing during office hours! He wants you to learn the material through amazing powerpoints, reviews and his handouts!

Professor Reinking is AWESOME! He is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. He makes the concepts so easy to understand and takes the time to make sure his students understand what he's going over. I wish he taught more accounting classes at UCF!

I was worried about taking this class because everyone says its very difficult but Prof. Reinking makes it very easy. Minimal studying and I got a pretty easy B. Homework is easy, projects are easy, and there is a lot of extra credit. Definitely recommend him over any other prof for ACG2021

Great teacher! Homework is easy as long as you watch the lectures. Test are a bit harder, but are definitely doable. Thought I'd be miserable in this class, but it really was not bad at all.

Every week there is online HW/assignments due that is extremely EASY! ALWAYS STUDY & REVIEW the video lectures & book before exam, TIME CONSUMING but it's really hard to fail this class!

Took class in the streaming section. I love this professor. He is very willing to help you out and makes things very clear. Exams are manageable and he distributes points fairly well between hw, exams, quizzes, etc.. pretty easy A if you put your part in. Take him if you can. =)

Everybody says that accounting is a hell of a class, but Reinking made it very accessible. A large portion of the possible points are guaranteed, as well as extra credit, provided you are not lazy. Study his power points and review sheets for the exam a week or two before, and you are golden. The best Financial Accounting professor--take him.

Although a lot of things in the class you'll never use unless you become an accountant, Reinking definitely explained things easily. Stopped watching the lectures towards the end because it got easier once you know the basics. I read the book before tests and got As and Bs. 25 attempts on homework is awesome.

2nd atmpt. is a charm for me. Great professor, in a nutshell you need the book/ebook if you want to pass. If you do all homework to 100% and all other projects you can do crappy on two of 3 exams and still pass with a decent grade. If it wasn't for that i would have to change my major. Kind of confusing when he lectures, however I read the chapters, went to sarc and the TA help desk and did great. Review lectures are very important and help a lot. Learnsmart helped a lot with the conceptual topics if your having trouble. Also the practice sets in CONNECT were good review before exams

Very clear cut with grading - do all the work and you'll make the grade you deserve. Homework problems which can be done 50 times to get it right, Projects, Quizzes, Participation points, & LS extra credit. Easy A if you do it all but can be very time consuming. Tests resembled LS problems versus PP slides. Good Professor!

This is an extremely time consuming class, but I don't think anyone could have taught it better. He's funny, relates to real-world situations, and is very clear. I would definitely take him again.

Reinking is an amazing professor for financial accounting. I wasn't particularly interested in accounting before taking the course, but Reinking is such a great professor that I really enjoyed this class. There is a homework assignment each week that takes 2-3 hours and a 3-hour lecture. If you go through his study guides for exams you'll do fine.

He makes accounting bearable. Its a class that you definitely have to work for but he explains clearly. Make sure to do all the extra credit, homework, and participation questions. You can pass the class if you work with him. Great teacher!

Reinking explains the content very clearly. This class is not about memorizing content but instead learning concepts. Watch his lectures and you will be fine.

Overall, he was a good professor. He is very straight-forward. The exams are not difficult if you study and know that concepts well (i.e.. the different types of journal entries, vocab, etc.) He always gave study guides and exam sample questions before the exam. Do the LearnSmart extra credit for easy points!

He makes this hard class manageable! Attendance is not required and not necessary to pass (or get an A for that matter). Reading the textbook and going to the review sessions before each test really help you do well in the class. There are weekly homework assignments and participation quizzes which boost your grade. Also offers extra credit.

Taking this class with only the Lecture Captures and I'm passing with an A. He's very clear and does multiple examples of everything. Homework due every week but it isn't too bad. A few other assignments, 3 exams, nothing cumulative. There's extra credit that prepares you for the exams so do that!

I thought financial accounting was going to be the worst class ever but professor Reinking made it easy to me. Makes it clear and does lots of examples. Tests are pretty straightforward. I have never left a review for any of my professors through out my college career but I felt compelled to leave a review for Professor Reinking. I was a bit apprehensive before taking this class but Reinking made financial accounting seem like a piece of cake. He is funny, the exams are relatively easy and he thoroughly explains the concepts.

Reinking is really nice and easy to approach. The homework assignments are not too difficult and you get unlimited tries. The tests are a little hard but if you use the learnsmart tool it is much easier. Try not to fall behind on the lectures because it can be tough to catch up. There is a lot of material to go over in this class.

It's financial accounting so you either get it or you don't. If you get it then Professor Reinking is the easiest professor on Earth. I didn't watch a single video all semester and got an A because he gives you so many opportunities for extra credit (46 points to be exact) and a lot of simple assignments to cushion your grade with.

Wow this class was not easy but prof. Reinking does make it more bearable. HW is due every week through Connect, provides extra credit through learnsmart (great study tool) and a couple surveys. I didn't attend the class just the live stream lecture. Do the work, study (got to test reviews), and you should do fine.

TAKE HIM! Watch his lectures and do the LearnSmart, which is EC, and an A is easy to get. Tests are really similar to LearnSmart. Quite a bit of work involved with the HW, quizzes, and a few other random assignments, but nothing is hard just time consuming. Don't remember using the book at all so it isn't needed.

I loved this class and Professor! Dr. Reinking is very clear in his lectures and regarding his expectations. His tests were the fairest tests I've ever taken- if you know the material, the correct answers are clear. If you pay attention in class and do the homework, you should be just fine. He makes a fairly dry subject interesting and is funny!

I took the online version of this class and watched maybe 15 minutes of lectures all semester. Tbh, if I had scored higher on the participation quizzes (based on lectures) I would've had an A. Anything through learn smart is always simple to understand and easy to learn. Tests are like the learn smart practice exams. I wish I hadn't slacked so much

Took this as lecture capture and as long as I watched all lectures each unit before the test, taking notes and doing the assignments, I never got lower than a B on a test. Everyone complains about this class but don't stress, he's very clear really watch the lectures and you'll know what to do - accounting tutoring lab is also helpful!

Great professor! As long as you watch the lectures or attend class you will pass. He does a great job of explaining the material in the easiest way possible. The material can be difficult but with him teaching it is definitely easy to pass. All the homework has unlimited attempts so it's easy grades. Besides that only 3 exams

He assigns homework on Connect but there is also extra credit assignments attached. The lectures are long but watching them online after class is helpful in that you are able to pause if you need to take break. Exams can be tough but the final isn't cumulative. Textbook was not needed, only the access code for Connect. He was very understanding.

Really awesome professor, would recommend to anyone and everyone. I was scared about accounting but Professor Reinking made it seem easy. Make sure to do the homework (unlimited attempts), easy quizzes and learn smart extra credit. Tests should be solid if you do homework and watch lecture (never got lower than a 92 on any of them).

accounting in general is a very tough subject. but his teaching style was easy to understand and helped to break down the material. If you apply yourself and study this class is passable. I ended up enjoying the work and really getting the concepts with practice. WATCH THE LECTURES!! and the TA review is very helpful before tests!

There's only 3 tests and he makes it very clear what the answer is as long as you know the material, he never put trick questions on there. Plus he is really funny! Wish he taught managerial!

He is awesome! Came in this class super nervous because I heard he was hard but he actually isn't. Read the powerpoints, do all the learn smart and connect HW. He is extremely helpful. Three exams but they aren't too difficult. Definitely watch the TA review before each exam! Helps so much. The book also helps but you can pass without it.

Lectures are long, and he sometimes would go super fast, but he kept it interactive and interesting. The homework and extra credit were really helpful to mastering the material, plus they were easy points! He seems to really care about how students do. I've never taken an accounting course before but Professor Reinking made the subject enjoyable for me. The lectures are almost 3 hours long (something he can't do anything about; it's the business dept.) but he lets classes out early most nights. Do ALL the homework and extra credit! He makes the homework failproof so keep trying until you get 100%

As an accounting major, this class was extremely important to me. Dr. Reinking was amazing. Accounting can sometimes be a little backwards, but Dr. Reining makes it very clear. Homework, like the last person said, is fail-proof. Class "check-ins" is what helped me the most!

I took Professor Reinking my Freshman semester. I loved his class because of the way he taught it and I had hard timing because it was one of those once a week 3 hour long classes. He has a way of teaching where he doesn't rush through stuff and repeats everything 5 times to make sure it gets stuck in our heads. Tests and Homework were doable.

As long as you utilize the study material and watch the lectures you should easily be able to get an A or B in this course.

Overall accounting is a hard subject. He understands this and provides lots of extra credit to help boost your grade. In all we had an extra 44 points to earn through extra credit. Make sure you do the extra credit and all of the homework assignments until you get a 100. That's the best way to pad your grade.

Hardly used the textbook. Hilarious professor. StudyCube helps a lot with this class, but his lectures are really well done as well. It's a long class, but he makes it much better. TONS of extra credit. Like oh my god. So much. Do all of it and get 100s on every homework and you can coast on the last test.

Watched the WebCourses PanOpt videos about a 1000 times to pass, however the professor taught the subject in which one can understand and grasp easily. It is match heavy, so it is going to be a tough course no matter what. Great professor though!

This class to be honest is not hard at all as long as you do all the work and take advantage of the extra credits. The lectures are long and attendance is not mandatory. As long as you make sure to watch the lecture the day of then you'll be good to go. My exam average were like 60-65 and with final and extra credit I pass with a B.

You need to work and READ THE BOOK after each chapter theneverything you are confused with will make sense. TRUST ME. I was intimidated by this class but I ended up getting over a 100 in the class. Before tests, do connect practice, connect practice exams, and practice questions in the book. His assignments aren't hard but study well for tests.

The 3 hour class is so difficult to sit through even if it is Lecture Capture but he can't do anything about it. For me i found the tests extremely difficult but the homework and quizzes throughout the semester helps your grade even if you don't do well on the tests. You need the textbook to pass.

Prof. Reinking is so funny and so entertaining. I found his lectures to be much more useful than the textbook so watch those. Homework load is moderate but easy if you watched his lectures. Read the book chapter by chapter and you will be good. If you study the homework and things on the test review before exam, you will be good but make sure to read each chapter from the book and ask questions when necessary. Such a great professor! He really makes an effort to help his students understand the material and make the class interesting. He explains all of the concepts and then goes through examples that are really helpful. You can't use a notecard on exams but it's easy to do well if you watch lectures and pay attention and study a decent amount.

Honestly I suck at all things college. It was not until this semester that I found joy in a subject. Maybe it's because of the way Reinking teaches the course. So engaging. Lectures are clear, exams are straight forward, and homework is max 1hr/week. Work hard during the first section of class, and you will do well on the other sections.

He's clear and direct. It's hard to become confused in his class, hence the fact the he tends to repeat to tougher concepts. I never attended class, I just watched the lecture capture, which worked out fine for me. His review sessions really help prepare you for test. Don't be afraid if things seem too fast at first, they become clear quickly.

However, if you want to succeed in this class, you MUST watch/attend the lectures and you must do the homework! It's not that hard as long as you pay attention and try.

Reinking is the best professor I've had thus far. I took it via Lecture Capture so keep in mind that this probably changes things. He is super funny, very chill, his homework is an easy 100, and he does this review session prior to each test with his TA's that are SUPER helpful. Because of that, the tests are also pretty easy.

I only watched the review lectures before the exams, none of the others. I did not get the textbook. Easy to get an A in the class but you have to put the effort in. The HW would have me crying but that was my fault. Just watch the lectures maybe get the textbook and you will be fine. Extra credit numerous times in class. Exams are tough.

Taken him this semester, he made the reduced seat format very easy to understand. He had the chapters we should read, videos pertaining to certain topics in the chapter, then the homework in order so we know what to do first. The in class part was tedious but it helped you understand the material more. Exam reviews also helped.

3 exams + homework + in-class sessions. Extra credit was offered by answering questions via online textbook. Personally did not need textbook for understanding the material, as the video lectures were more than enough, but others might have some difficulty without it. Groups are assigned for in-class sessions and an assignment is given for each one

He is very fair, very informative, and provides plenty of online resources. Some are non credit, some are extra credit, but the bottom line is you can use whichever ones you like to study however you prefer. On his graded assignments, most allow for multiple attempts so that you can learn from your mistakes, correct them, and score higher.

Make sure you watch his lectures and take thorough notes. It'll save you the text book amount since the book is confusing anyways. A lot of people in this class struggle but Professor Reinking does a good job in making sure you understand the material. In class assignments get more difficult as the semester progresses.

Professor Reinking teaches the fundamentals of accounting in a REAL course. He has created videos to teach you the information. His assignments aren't hard if you watched the videos or read the book. His style of teaching is a bit passive due to the multi-modal style, however, there is a great number of extra credit opportunities.

Although it is a difficult class, it is clear he cares about his students and gives you plenty of material to study from. Creates study guide videos before every exam which are extremely helpful. Make sure you do every homework assignment, they add up. Overall, 10/10 professor though.

Fairly easy. I only studied for a few hours before each test and got in the high B to mid C range. He seems to care a lot about students and explains concepts well. He gives plenty of study aids to help explain concepts. Real nice guy.

Dr Reinking was great! This was my first ever accounting class and I ended up with a 103%! Read the pages he lists, watch the lectures, and do the practice homework, you will do well. He gives plenty of extra credit. Also the homework you get unlimited tries.

This class is a guarantee pass as long as you just try a little. He curves the class and offers extra credit. The exams are very easy basic questions and a perfect score is attainable. The ALL sessions are always full points since the TA's check it through every step and at the end. He is one of the most caring, genuine teachers I've had at UCF

He's such a nice professor! Makes accounting very easy to understand and applicable to business. Review his exam reviews and you'll be fine on the test. The ALLs are participation credit but help make sure you grasp the content. The homework isn't hard but review it because it helps on exams and there's a check work option.

Love the King. Very informative and easy to follow video lectures, small bits of humor thrown in at the right time. Helps you stay on track and it seems like he really cares about you and wants to see you do well even in a classroom that's filled to the brim.

I am leaving this review about a year after taking Dr. Reinking's class and I wish UCF could duplicate him and have him teach all my accounting classes. His class gave me a great foundation for future classes. I took advantage of all resources provided and not only felt prepared for his exams but also felt I truly understood the material.

I can confidently say Reinking is the best professor Ive ever had. I would always choose his class. You have to invest your time in any ACG, but Reinking sets you up to succeed. I recommend learning vocab first, using the textbook while doing hw, then going through his pre-exam lecture videos & extra credit. Use other resources if struggling.

Jeff was a very nice Financial Accounting Professor. There are only about 4 exams and theres lots of homework opportunities for a better grade. I took this class online over the summer so it was a little more sped up than usual but a great introduction to my accounting major. Jeff was very nice and he rounded up my grade when I was at an 88%.

Great teacher and organizes the course very well. Offers a lot of extra credit. Study for the exams, and get As on the other assignments and you should end up with an A in the course.

Professor Reinking was seriously the most informative, helpful, and caring professor I have ever had at UCF! He gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit for every chapter and gives good study guides for all of the exams. He really cares about every student and wants every student to pass.

Class is difficult but doable. Unlike most classes, I would recommend really getting comfortable with the textbook readings and its practice problems. They stressed this at the beginning of the semester, and I found out later in the semester that it helps a lot on exams. There is extra credit that boosts your grade up like 2-3 points at a time!

There's also extra credit which takes about 10-30 minutes and serves as a review for that chapter. & I was borderline A/B and was able to get an A because of it. Good Luck!

Dr. Reinking is a great professor that is a professor you want especially if you are an accounting major. Involved with the school of accounting and can send you in the right direction. Straight forward exams that you should be fine for if you take notes. Exam are open book if the class is taken online.

Professor Reinking is honestly really great. He makes his videos entreating and has a guided note sheets that go along with the videos. I never read the textbooks and still passed but make sure that you understand the first three chapters, they are very important.

He gives you these "example paks" for his lecture so you don't have to take your own notes, just follow along his lecture and write down what is needed. His homework is easy, just time consuming, and he offers extra credit for the exams. You'll get A if you take notes and do hw.

He does study guide meetings and videos for every exam and is very clear about what you'll be tested on. SOOO many extra credit opportunities too. He made accounting fun.

He makes ACG so simple and gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. One of my biggest concerns for this class was the group activities, but honestly, they were so helpful and made it easier to understand the material. For the tests, as long as you study the study guide you'll score high. I'm really not that smart and ended with a 97 lol.

Professor Reinking really puts energy into his teachings and gives plenty of helpful resources for you to succeed. This is my first accounting class so I am pretty new to learning the basics of accounting and this professor inspires you to want to learn more. Glad I was able to take this class with this professor.

He made me actually enjoy accounting which is a sentence I thought I would never say. Obviously, apply yourself but even studying the bare minimum will get you a b at least. The most important thing I would say is to make sure you understand the first unit and everything else will come easily bc it's all related. Trust me!

Best "REAL" class I have taken. 3 exams, 1 final, and some (very small amounts) extra credit. Weekly homework but guaranteed full credit if completed correct/unlimited attempts. Recorded lessons are helpful. If you want an A, watch the recorded review session. Includes everything on the test. He cares about your grade and wants you to do well.

Prof Reinking is awesome! So helpful, great recorded lectures/reviews, and super nice. He offers a lot of extra credit but you will have to work hard since this is a "REAL" class so you only go in to basically do 6 worksheets. As long as you take the time and apply yourself, you can get an A (failed the first test and he sent a note with advice!)

Just watch the lectures. Never opened the textbook once. Such a great teacher and could easily finish with an A

I loved Dr. Reinking so much. I genuinely learned a ton about Accounting and enjoyed it at times. Ended up with a rewarding B. The lecture videos are GAME changing. 3 regular exams and 1 final all similar. HW is easy 100 if you try. Extra credit is so helpful. REAL classes were fantastic. Accounting major? This is the class w/ professor YOU want.

Dr Reinking is a great professor for a challenging class. Graded on homework, in-class projects and tests. Tests were hard and taken at the testing center on a computer. Homework was online. Mandatory attendance; worked on assignments on a team during lecture. Class met 6 times the whole semester. Tutoring center available. Recommend in Spring/Fall

Overall, a solid class and amazing professor! I changed my major to accounting because of Reinking :) Make sure you apply yourself though and do not procrastinate. I used the textbook for the challenging chapters. Take this class!

Great professor. Super nice guy and his recorded lectures are really clear and helpful. Exams are easy as long as you watch the lectures and do the homework. I wish I could take him for Managerial Accounting.

I absolutely loved his class. It's very clear he cares about his students & their success. His lectures are great, always gave feedback, his course is very organized, & offered exam reviews before each exam. He is definitely the best professor I've ever had. He's also very funny! My only complaint is I wish he also taught managerial accounting (:

Great professor!!!! One thing that I really took note of during my time taking this class was the fact that he actually takes an interest in his students' success. The content of his tests don't stray from the material in his video lectures and assignments (so if you study you'll do well). Best class I've taken at UCF by far.

The class is easy if you take notes and watch his videos. He offers note packets where you fill in the blanks as you watch his video lectures. He offered extra credit and a lot of practice questions. His videos were straightforward and easy to understand. There are 4 exams including the final that make up most of your grade.

Professor Reinking is genuinely one of the best professor's I've had at UCF. I wish his class had in-person lectures, but the videos do the job mostly. WATCH THE VIDEOS! He's approachable and don't stress if the class is hard at first. Take some time to really learn it, especially in the beginning.

Reinking was awesome. I'm not someone very good at math and this class was understandable but also very interesting. He is very engaged and passionate about what he does. He is always available with help and offers extra credit and flexible opportunities. His layout for the class works very well so just follow it and you'll be fine!

Professor Reinking has some of the best lecture videos I have viewed thus far, as he is very engaging and adequately prepares you for the exams, although I still recommend taking notes out of the textbook and utilizing the lecture videos as review. The extra credit is also a nice touch, amounting to a little over 3% (and is actually useful review).

Prof. Reinking is the best professor I have ever had. Class meets 5 times per semester, all of the other information is learned in Webcourses through videos with Prof. Reinking and others. Very knowledgeable man, who wants you to succeed. I passed with a 96%. The structure of the class is meant for students to succeed. Take lots of notes!

Dr. Reinking is an amazing professor. He cares for his students and wants to see them succeed in the course. He not only gives unlimited attempts on the homework, but also makes his exams very similar to the study guides. In addition, he offers extra credit! I would 100% take this class again as Dr. Reinking is incredibly kind, caring, and funny.

Great professor. Class is mainly watching video lectures, doing the homework, doing the in-class assignments, and the four exams. Has great study guides and some extra credit. You can tell he loves teaching. Exams can be tough but as long as you study well and watch the review videos you can do well.

The best professor Ive ever had at UCF. Such a knowledgable and nice guy. Gives so many study materials and does in person reviews before every test that he records and posts. Absolutely the best professor I've had so far. His lectures are excellent, and he knows what he is discussing (unlike some of the other REAL format professors). The group projects are reasonable, my group never ran out of time to work on them. The exams are challenging, but he provides plenty of resources to prepare for them.

Class itself requires time put in, and to care about the topic. It builds off of itself throughout the sem. Jeff made lectures fun, and upbeat to keep students engaged. Encouraged questions and wants all his students to succeed. Lays out the work perfectly to understand all of the work, and more. Offers a make-up assign. if missed a lecture.

Reinking is an incredibly engaging and awesome professor to take. I was completely unsure if accounting was the right degree for me, but his class made the content easy to learn. His TAs are extremely helpful and he offers extra credit opportunities. The REAL format is the only bad thing, but that is not his fault but rather CBA's fault.

love this guy, super organized. you could go the whole course without even opening the textbook, his videos provide everything you need. lots of homework, but i brute-forced a couple of the assignments fairly easily because they have follow-along videos per question. exams are a cake, provides extra credit, many assignments get dropped. TAKE HIM!

This professor and this class could only be better if the classes were in person instead of the learning being done online. His videos are well explained and easy to digest. To do well take notes, go to tutoring and you can get an A. Great professor all around, attentive and fair.

I loved this class. He handled the hybrid format perfectly. His lecture videos were so helpful and engaging. The homework perfectly prepared me and wasn't tedious. I opened the book very rarely only for minor clarifications. He has excellent study guides for tests, and he was willing to provide any additional help. I loved his joy and humor.

Very energetic professor. The REAL format at UCF sucks, but his videos are still very interactive. He teaches only ACG2021 I heard which sucks because I would take another class of his if I could. This class was formatted extremely well. Dr. Reinking's lecture videos were very informational and correlated directly to the homework and the exams. He's also just an overall great professor, very passionate toward teaching and enthusiastic.

Watch the videos, do the worksheets, and do the homework. Take advantage of all the test materials he gives you and you'll pass. I took it in the summer and got an A. And I'm not a math/ finance person. He makes it really easy to pass if you put the time in.

I've never understood accounting and I've retaken it 2 times. With this professor I've had a steady 99% the entire semester! Fantastic videos, great TA's, and even has extra credit available that's super easy to complete. If I could take him for all my accounting classes I would. Highly recommend!
