Great teacher, I am not that great at math like most people, but he was funny and cool and he made things easy to understand. I managed to pull off a high B in his class. He made this class fun to come to and was not that hard, he only teaches 0301.

Mr. Davis is very straight about everything he says. He expects you to do your work but will answer all questions. He reviewed us for our tests and gave questions on the test just like what he reviewed. I recommend him because if you do what he says you can make an A.

As long as you pay attention to steps on calculator that are given in class, and attend review for tests, it is impossible to not make an A in the class. He doesn't babysit, no roll, he bases the class on what you learned, not your attendance.

he is very easy he has a new way of teaching you get picked into group and do all kind of group work. you can earn points that will go on your test there are to 20pts that you can earn by doing homeworks and quizz he is a good teacher i highly recommed him.

I took Davis last semester and failed. I had to take him again to fit my schedule. He is totally different this semester. He designed a new way to do things with groups and it really helps. I wish the cry babies on this sight would shut up and do their work. Then they would get good grades too.

Easy teacher if you do the homework and ask questions. Took him for Liberal Arts Math and he paced the class nice and slow to spread everything out and not overwhelm the students. Dont take bother taking him though if you arent responsible enough to do the work, he wont take pitty on you.

i got a B, but i earned it. the ones that dont pass are the ones that dont show up, or sleep. you dont anything for free in this class. he will help you if he knows that you're putting in the effort to help yourself. if you're lazy, you wont pass this class

I took him Fall'04 and got the group idea by our class and now implements it.He may seem mean but he isn't. If u show up to class, do the Homework(not graded) u will do well in the class. lots of people drop cause they lazy, don't study therefore teach criticizes. my class had 30, went down to 10!

He's a very clear teacher who clears things out last semester my other professor wasn't as clear as him.

I'm in Davis' Summer I 2005 .He's a PHENOMENAL teacher, explains everything step by step, prefaces what will be taught, gives test from prev semester to study & has the fairest grading ever, adds pts to test for h/w, adds # of correct quiz pts to test, won't count wrong answers, only right ones 4 xtra credit. Class designed for student success.

He can be funny and sometimes he can come off a little hostile. He missed a bit of class this semester b/c he had eye surgery. He gives homework but it's for the chapter and not due until the test. Pretty easy class if you pay attention, take notes, ask questions on everything you have problems with, and come to class. Study!! :)

he may be fast and it may be complicated, but he is very thorough and if you pay attention he gives you the best ways to handle the work. his teaching method works for me!!!!

Jeffrey Davis has a gift for making lifeless textbook concepts easy and practical to understand. He is an old-school teacher and may seem a little hard, but that's just the way he is. Pay attention to what he says and you should do fine with the exams.

He was one of the best teachers I've had in math, he gave extra credit for doing your homework assignment and if he saw that you were trying and not goofing off he did everything he could to help you. He also gave a practice test.

DAVIS IS AWESOME. Although he is kind of intimidating (he always looks mad), he is a good teacher and as long as you do your homework (which is required), you will pass. Plus Davis gives LOTS of easy extra credit! He is a tough love kind of teacher, but he Makes it a point to work with every person...even if he sometimes makes you feel stupid.

Mr. Davis is a good teacher he wants you to ask questions. He will not explain material you should already know. He does not spend enough time on the material to make sure the students understand it. He gives reviews which let you know exactly what will be on the tests except he changes the numbers. He could smile a little more.

The class was good, alot better than I expected. Sometimes get off the subject and go on to higher math problems- but those were never on test. Review sheet is exactly what is on test. I used the previous version of the text book required, and all the information was the same, just different pages. All in all, he is a good teacher.

Awesome teacher!!! Easy A. Make sure you know the material on the review prior to the test and you'll pass. He makes the material easy to understand and gives shortcuts to solving problems. If you can't handle a stern teacher, he's not for you. He knows how to teach to all levels of students and does it well!!!

Great teacher. writes notes on bored reviews are just like the test just different numbers. do problems 4 review on bored adds pts to lab. He is willing to answer any questions. hw not due but good practice. i would take him again if possible, no doubt.

Mr. Davis is a no frills teacher, direct, concise, and organized. Math has always been an extreme struggle for me. Mr. Davis lays it all out for you on the board step-by-step. I finally passed math! You can learn a lot with him, but you have to put in the effort, i.e. you have to WORK. I guess that's why it is called classWORK and homeWORK.

i would recommend him if you have thick skin. he comes off a little rude, but don't be scared! he is a good teacher, but he doesn't cut any slack. this class requires a lot of outside work, but so does any math class. (hw not taken for grade)**mr. davis gives awesome reviews for test!!!** and if you can do review, you'll get an A on the test!

all u have to do is just show up on review day and u will get easy A!!! attendance is not mendatory

Mr.Davis is a great teacher! There is no way someone could fail his class, he gives homework problems and test review sheets if you want to get extra credit on test you have to put the problem of board,he gives u points even if its right or wrong,also the review is exactly like the test,just the numbers change, I took him for all my math courses=)!

He's very straight forwad, speaks quicky, no nonsensense type of guy.Rarely goes over tests, but is FAIR.My only real complaint is that the guy's mom dies during the classs and he misses a few classes, my kid acts up the day of the final, I show up late and fail my final.He gives me a D for the class, when I had an A going into the final!NO Slack!

I usually get very low grades, in this class Im getting b's. He is very helpful, easy to understand, helps you to make connections in your head so the work is easier. YOU CAN USE A CALCULATOR!!!! He all but gives you the answers to the test. Take Mr Davis! You wont regret it.

I've taken Davis for two courses and find him to be clear and fair. The people who write the bad reviews couldn't spell cat if you gave them the c and the a. If you hate him so much, just drop and don't ruin it for the rest of us.

Mr. Davis is an excellent teacher. He is always willing to answer a question. He works out problems on the board and is very clear. He assigns homework but he doesn't make you turn it in. Don't expect him to hold your hand. Its on you to do the work if you want to do well on the tests. Gives extra credit opportunity on each test!

If you need a stats, you cannot find an easier teacher than him. He is great. He gives you sample test which is exactly like the test, if you study those you do just fine. Take him you will not regret

EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! straight to the point type of person. doesn't beat around the bush confusing students with different problems. explains what he has to and thats that. gives reviews before test that pretty much mirror the test and the final IS the previous tests taken so KEEP the tests he returns. Mr Davis was the best math teacher I ever had. He got to the point and explained everything very well. I have never gotten an A in math and I passed with flying colors. He is very approachable and is willing to explain if you do not understand.

I love love love this teacher! If you looking for a teacher that will kiss your but, then this is not the teacher for you! He is there to teach and if you take notes, do the homework, and do the reviews you will pass simple as that.

He's good at teaching but is very fast, he will help if u ask but will not slow down for u, i never saw him smile not once, he's strictly business, i dropped his class, his pace was way too fast for me

DONT miss class. He is quick, and doesnt like to repeat himself. His reviews are the exact same as his test which makes the class easier. He is very very smart with man and the class was fairly easy. Go to class, take notes, record the lectures if you can, do the homework. You will make an A. He isn't nice or easy so don't expect him to hold your hand. He gives extra credit for every exam if you do homework on the board. So take advantage of it.

Mr Davis is an awesome teacher. As long as you go to class and do the homework you will do well. He isn't very friendly unless you do what he asks of you. If you come to class and do the work he will go out of the way to make sure you pass. I have taken 0302 3 other times and either failed or dropped. I received an A in this class.

He was the best math teacher I have had in a while. Yeah he might look not so friendly and kind of mean, but I learned a lot and when I took my 0303 with another teacher, it made miss Mr. Davis.. His class was very easy. Just do the Homework and attend to class and most likely you will get an A. He even gives you extra points options. Take him!

The best math teacher ever! Hmwk is optional, gives bonus points, reviews are very clear. He won't be really friendly but he is extremely helpful and very clear on what he expects out of you. Do the reviews and you will get an A!

Although he can be rude at times, he is very helpful and is very thorough. I learned a lot from him and he's pretty good at teaching. He's always there to help you if you ask him. His test are quite simple if you do the test reviews and projects he gives you. Good all in all.

He goes over all the material really quickly, which might not be the best for someone who struggles with math. His reviews are exactly as the test and he goes over them right before each test. There is a lot of homework for 20% of the grade in MyMathLab, which can be done over and over to achieve a 100. Do what he asks and you will pass!

Honestly, I'm awful at math so throughout high school I struggled and I was afraid I was going to fail. But for some reason, the way he teaches just clicks. He's very to the point and doesn't make things confusing. He literally writes out everything he talks about, you just really need to pay attention. Multiple choice test, easy A. Don't skip! :)

He has a very sarcastic attitude but don't take it personal. He's a great professor. He teaches exactly what's on the test and his reviews reflect that. He speaks very quickly so if you have a hard time following get a recorder, take notes, and don't be afraid to ask questions. He teaches us what we need to know without the fluff! Aced every test!
