Absolutely THE greatest teacher I have had at this university. He is so clear with his objectives, has all the notes online, does not require attendance but yet I still wanted to go to class everyday. TAKE JEFF, he is a FANTASTIC psych teacher, plus he's young and new so his class is really fun!

Good teacher. Lectures can get boring. He is really good about helping though and gives good study material. to do well go to every class and READ the book. STUDY for the tests and you will get an A. He is really nice and young so he relates to students well. I would definitely recommend his class!

Really awesome professor! His lectures can be kinda boring but he tries really hard to make them interesting. If you go to class, pay attention and read the book you will do well. Tests are super easy if you study. No big papers. And he offers alot of Extra Credit! Take Jeff!!!

He makes psychology interesting, and engages students in small activities that help you learn the subject matter. Not much for homework, very laid back environment. I wish every class was like this one!

Professor Goodman is a really good teacher. He takes the time to explain things clearly. If you go to class he will go over everything that will be on the test. It is a pretty easy class too. There is like 4 tests and a final, and 4 papers that are worth a small percentage of grade. I recommend Goodman to anyone!

Goodman is a great teacher...i was never interested in psychology until i had him. i enjoyed this class so much i am actualy switching my major to psych. take goodman for a psych teacher he's fabulous

Pretty easy class. Attendance is optional, he gives you extra credit opportunities, and the exams are bad. He's a really nice guy and was very helpful.

Professor Goodman is a great psych prof. It was his first semester teaching at EC and he did great! Lectures are fun just read the chapters and study for the tests and you will get an A. He wants his students to succeed and like psych. Take his class!

My major is psych, and I absolutely LOVE Dr. Goodman. Not only is he extremely funny and personable, he is knowledgable and is ALWAYS willing to help his students out. He allows students to submit papers via e-mail and will review them prior to the due date. I would recommend him to ANYONE! GREAT CLASS, GREAT PROFESSOR!!

I love Goodman! He is really funny and he is younger so he is easier to relate to. He helps you a ton on tests by basically subtly giving you the answer if you're confused about the question. He is almost always there in his office to help you and he responds to e-mails pronto. Take him if you can, he's great!!!

Amazing professor! I loved this class, he made it so enjoyable with revelant stories about his life experiences. The two papers for the course are easy 1-2 page papers and the tests are a cinch if you study the notes. Overall one of my best classes I've taken on campus.

I took this class for winterim just to get more GE credits. I had a mild interest in Psychology from high school. I was on the edge of my seat this whole class. I loved it. I now want to change my major to Psychology.

Goodman is such a great and fun professor, who truly cares about his students and what he teaches.Even if you aren't that into SPD topics he makes it interesting and relates it so well to the real world. Never blindsides you on exams which aren't hard at all because the material is taught thoroughly and very well. Definitely worthwhile to take!!

I took his Stereotypes, Prejucide and Discrimination class. GREAT CLASS and best professor ever. Makes class super interesting with funny stories, jokes, and interesting videos. Very interactive class conductive to learning. Fair grader, although he takes a while to grade. Show up every day, pay attention, and you will do great.

Dr. Goodman is great. He is very clear with both his expectations and the way he lectures. He kept the class engaged my cracking jokes and asking the class for comments regularly. He is one of the busiest profs I know but still got exams graded within a week. Papers took longer, but he also gave us extra time to work on them which I felt was fair!

Goodman has been my favorite professor so far. He makes lectures interesting and engaging, and truly knows how to explain everything in a way that makes it is hard not to like psych. He gives awesome study guides that go over essentially everything that will be on the tests (which are quite easy). If you are interested in psych, take 100 with him.

I was a chemistry major when I started this class but Dr. Goodman truly inspired me and re-ignited my passion for psychology so much that I changed my major! Class was fun and informative. Homework and tests are fair. He keeps you engaged & interested! The course outline is clear and concise. He leaves no questions unanswered and is happy to help!

Goodman's enthusiasm for his subject is palpable. He has a hilarious deadpan humor and is young enough that you will enjoy looking at him along with hearing what he has to say. He has so many interesting stories and by the end of the class, you'll most likely be happy you took it. It's just a good college course to take.

Great professor! As is to be expected from a 400-level seminar, there are daily readings and quizzes, 2 short papers, and one large paper. Class environment is very relaxed and open. Dr. Goodman provides insight and keeps the class on topic, but it is primarily up to the students to shape the discussions. Overall, an enjoyable course!

In Psych 100, your grade comes from 4 exams, lab time and very few homework assignments and class participation. The exams are challenging and require a lot of studying. In class lectures are fun and entertaining. The tests are a combination of in-class notes and examples from the text.

One of the most genuine professors at UWEC. Goodman is approachable and knowledgable about all aspects within psychology. The topics we discuss are eye opening and highly interesting.
