This teacher gives a quiz every week, I enjoyed this teacher, he was nice, you just have to get on his good side. Quiz is everything on notes. His writing is bad though

I don't know what everyone is talking about that Lee is hard. All you have to do is take notes, read the chapter, and do a little bit of review. It's a college level class with college level work. He's also a spaz which makes the class interesting.

This Professor knows about psychology a lot.And you can learn from him a lot.He is a little harder than other teachers.But you learn a lot if you like psychology.

He is a professinal teacher.He knows psychology very well.You must study harder with this teacher than other psychology teachers.

This teacher is over the whole psychology dept. so you get someone that is very knowledgeable, he's prepared, funny, a little anal but overall a good teacher. I'd recommend him.

A no-nonsense prof who takes no guff! Somewhat anal. Expects you to be a mature individual in class and if you're not, he'll sure let you know about your "disruptive behavior"; he might ask you to leave. Lectures, quizzes, & exams all straight forward. Do the work and you'll get an "A"!!!

Get the Study Guide! It makes a difference. READ THE CHAPTERS! Quizzes are 20 multiple chioce questions, 15 minutes. The psychology tests are cool. He can be strict and tough. You really have to study. Need an 86% instead of 90%+ average for an A. Drops the lowest quiz score.

I loved him! I had him for multiple psych classes, and I learned a lot from him! His lectures are clear, and tests are straight forward as long as you read the book. He has a passion for psych that is contagious...at least for me. Some people don't like him, and i don't get it, i think he was funny,not a jerk.

great prof., great class, i don't know why other people don't like him. he is very enthusiastic, energetic, he really wants to help you understand, he's hilarious. he sometimes can cut people off when it seems they're wasting class time, don't take it personally. a challenging class; can do well if you just READ and pay attention!

Very good teacher. VERY knowlegable. Can be tough at times but there is no better for pure information. Hes gives it to you straight and up front. Picks on people in class to prove certain points. Some people take it personal, dont. Everybody there loved me..I was the only one better at playing head games then he was =p Never got under my skin. Do this, you will get an A. Guaranteed!

This guy is awesome. He tries to play with your mind, but if your strong your good. He is a prick at times, but he always proves a point. If he thinks your a joke he cuts you off as he should. His tests are not hard, just read the book. He's pretty funny and always willing to clear things out HE'S A GREAT PROFESSOR! definately UNIVERSITY material!!

Just read the book. Hes weird and he does have a bit of an attitude problem. Hes just old get over it. Go to class every time read the book. I guarantee you you'll get an A for sure. BUt you have to read and understand each chapter to do it.

I took this class a while back but I remember him being a pretty good prof. He has strict regulations and attitude towards students but his lectures were interesting. The tests are easy as long as you pay attention, take notes and do the reading. I think he's ok overall.

prof lee effing rox! he's been my fav so far. u just have to pay attention in class, take notes from lectures and read the chapter. he grades really leniant on the term papers too. he's funny, energetic and cool. yeah..at first he seems like an ahole but after a while he's pretty cool.

Lee is a an amazing professor. He smokes like a chimney, but this is the only class I've ever taken where the professor will walk out of class in the middle of lecture and everyone remains silent. He expects a lot from his students, but if you do the reading, attend classes, and write the 7 page term paper you CAN NOT fail this class. Beware: he hazes students for the first few weeks to weed out people; I got the impression that he likes small classes. If you stick it out, it's worth it. Also: turn off your cell phones!

Amazing. Just get to know him before you judge. He comes off as a hard ass at first but just keep your mind open and try not to be too sensitive. I want to take all of his classes and would totally recommend his classes to everyone.

He's an engaging, caring prof who simply requires that his students are interactive, think about what they say, are respectful, and study the material. He is hilarious and quick to put you in your place, but he means no harm... he does it to everyone equally :)He's just not into treating students like babies. He's my favorite prof at WLAC so far.

this is a great class but it is tough. this teacher can be your strongest advocate or someone who can make you crazy, but it is up to you to choose which way that relationship will go. i would totally recommend the class and professor Lee.

He is awesome. The people who don't like him are too sensitive, and not willing to do work in a class. He isn't as mean as he seems, he only gets mad when you disrupt class with talking or cell phone ect. and he has every right to. this is college people......you should know better.

Very smart teacher! loves what he does, dont be smart azz becasue he will put you in the spot! he can be rude, but his lectures are very interesting and has a lot of probing points! tests can be hard so make sure you take good notes. remember to keep your phone off or he will kick you out of class... easy class if you stay on his good side

Dr. Lee is a GREAT Professor. You will walk away with an education once you finish this class. HOWEVER, if you want an EASY "A", Then THIS IS NOT THE CLASS FOR U. Reading is a MUST!! There is a quiz every wk @ the beginning of class, then he lectures. There's a regular 100 # final. The Midterm is a 7-10 page essay about "YOU".

he is tough but fair. will let you miss some quizzes if a reasonable excuse is accompanied for missing.

Lee is Fantastic!

I think that Professor Lee is very knowledgeable in the field of Psychology. At times, his comments can offend and hurt his students feelings. He is a kind person at times and a jerk at others. If you can tune out his branch of sarcasm and humor, you'll be just fine.

Great instructor. He's better than most professors I had at UC campuses. It's going to be some work but it's well worth it and you will learn and be interested in the material with this professor.

Great class! You must take notes and READ THE BOOK!!! (if you want a good grade) He is a professional and I gained a lot more knowledge by taking his class. Professor Lee is somewhat anal so having high self-esteem is a plus because he will try to intimidate you. He will also ask you to leave for the day if your phone rings in class! Good luck!!!

Lee's crazy...Jesus the guy's the coolest loon I know. Very passionate, eccentric, focused, and easy to relate with. He's easily my favorite professor during my first semester.I think he's got the perfect personality for a psych prof. Work hard, stay focused,and you're likely to begin to feel the same twitchy joy he seems to carry with him all day.

Awesome prof! Yeah, you're gonna work hard for your grade, but you're going to learn alot along the way. If you interrupt, are disruptive, don't seem to know the material... beware. He will treat you with the amt of respect you are showing to learning (i.e. NONE). If you are there to learn, prep, show some insight and initiative, you'll do great

The greatest teacher you will ever get in Psychology! Take his class and you will see the world differently! Need to read and study to earn your grade! But isnt thats what we are supposed to do as a student??? :) I highly recommend him, I got B but so worth it! He answers your questions and cares that you learn! Great teacher!

LEE is one of the most LEGIT teachers i have ever had. I have had him twice and got A's in both of his classes. many students dont like him because he is very fair...you get what you deserve. Read the book, and u will Ace the Class. Weekly quizzes come straight out the book. work hard and you'll pass

Rude as hell, but he knows his stuff

Professor Lee is great. He is not rude at all, he's just tired of people asking questions that are in his syllabus. He corrects if you're wrong. He's not a robot. Takes work to get an A. Read your book, follow his instructions. He's very helpful and cares about students and the class. Don't be rude, do your work and you will enjoy the class.

Proff Lee is Awsome, he makes the class intersting and really takes no BS from the students (which is important)if you read the book and show up you will do great. He is funny and fair I loved this classs. Wish I could take you again!

Professor Lee is one of the best teachers at West L.A He was extremely helpful, very fair, and, contrary to what others might say, very easy to talk to. All teachers should be like him. I would so love to take his class again. I learned so much thanx to him. He is an awesome teacher. If you want to take psych1 take it with Lee.!

Just do what he says and you will not have a problem. You do not know if he will get mad or be nice ( in the end though he is a pretty nice dude)- keeps you on your toes. Some what hard quizzes & easy papers to write. Interesting teacher though I would take him again.

Lee is super cool. Take him. Write 1 maybe 2 papers. He loves this stuff and makes it fun.

His personality might be a bit intimidating initially but if you stick with him, you'll see that he's really cool and pretty funny. His teaching style is a bit odd but effective. He's also very smart and knows/loves psychology and all other things science. Not hard but certainly not easy but I loved every bit of it. Take him if youre a psych major!

VERY interesting professor. U will never be bored in his class. He could be an actor if he wanted, but he's probably against the whole movie business (he has an opinion on EVERYTHING lol). anyways his sylabus is very simple and straightforward, quizes on a new chapter every week and half and 2 papers. He is passionate about Psychology, do not have you'r cell phone ring in class you will be excused for the day. He does not like for anyone to ask questions during his lecture. Test are weekly can be confusing, if you attend each class take great notes you will do well and the mid term is a 5 page essay big part of his grading. Cheers

Good teacher, ruthlessly honest and fair to others. You get what you put in, and this class is as good an example of that as any should be.

His syllabus make clear what he expects from students. He answers questions as long as they are related to the subject and not stupid. His quizzes can be tricky but students need to learn how to think logically as well as understand the chapter studied. He often analyzes his students, fyi.Can seem unapproachable due to his sarcasm but he is cool.

He gives clear and concise instructions regarding assignments. He is very strict with his rules, so be sure not to violate any of them or be prepared to get embarrassed. There are weekly quizzes and two writing assignments. Also a few personality tests and other personal test are given to help students understand/know themselves better.

Understand what your reading, tests are situational means he uses scenarios of concepts, so read carefully book/test questions! He is fair and you get what you put in. Classroom can be fun but mostly structured, no yelling out answers, loud talking etc.which I appreciate but can be a bit stifling. Summer class is brutal. Follow rules good luck 2 u

Prof Lee does not have patience for high schoolers, so if you have a child-like attitude, you'll hate him. He does not allow talking, but gladly welcomes questions. You need to be smart to know when to ask. ON Psych 1 you'll write two papers and do 4 personality tests, which are fun, for you'll learn about yourself. He's nice but he's very blunt.

This is probably one of my favorite teachers I have ever had. He is very passionate about psychology and that shows through his lectures. Very open to questions and helping if it is needed. I recommend that the rather immature students stray away from his class, otherwise he will shut you down.

Only take this class w/ Prof. Lee if you have no other choice. Attendance is a must although quizzes & final are based on the textbook, no matter what info he gives in class. One paper, easy if you do the research & follow his specific guidelines. Talking is big no in his class. Beware of asking questions as he will most likely make you regret it.

The course material on the various mental health disorders is very interesting. There is a lot of reading. The "quizams" are not too difficult but you must read the material. Professor Lee is still rude but his heart is in the right place.

I took this class during the summer and I am glad I did.Im a psych major and even though he can be a bit blunt,if you study and pay attention, u shouldn't have a problem.IF U DONT READ DONT EXPECT TO PASS THE CLASS.Many students come in thinking they'll pass w/o reading and then blame it on the teacher. I recommend him and would take him again.

Super sarcastic humor and no nonsense attitude are the reason people think he's rude but he's the most adequate prof I've ever had. I've taken him for four classes and got B's and one A(never opened a book, which he'd hate me for if he knew). He's the reason I switched my major to Psych. Don't take him if you hate dogs or awesome rock music.

Great professor! Comes off a little sarcastic at first but definitely has the students' best interest at heart! Reading the textbooks are a MUST! Definitely doesn't allow talking and knows how to keep the class under control. Clear expectations. One of the best professors I've ever had.

He tells you exactly what he expects from you at the beginning of the semester. Lectures are extremely interesting, but you MUST read the book to pass the quizzes. The semester has 9 quizzes and only two essays. He's no nonsense. No talking in class, no phones. But will always try to explain if you have legitimate questions. I loved this class.

The quizzes are based on the book. He let's you know if he adds anything else. There's no talking to your peers inside the classroom, period. He can be snarky but don't be afraid to ask questions. There are 2 papers that are quite easy because they're about you! Follow his guidelines and you'll be fine. Don't take if you can't control yourself.

Best professor I've had so far!! He's funny and he is very clear about his expectations. You will definitely need the book for the quizzes!!!! Do not hesitate to ask for help, he is more than willing to answer questions if he knows you're trying!!!!

Excellent professor!! Although some students can't take his sense of humor, he is truly a wonderful educator and is passionate about the subject. He connects topics to real life situations, making the material relatable to the student. Take this class if you are serious about school. Definitely worth the experience!

Professor Lee was hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. The way he presents ideas and material is second to none. He is engaging and extremely interesting. He is sarcastic, but personally I found it hilarious. As long as you act as a student should, you'll be fine. Very disappointed he's not teaching any other courses I need.

You learn a lot about yourself by taking this class. He is VERY clear on what he expects from you. Very specific on what he wants you to write for your papers. They weren't tough because you just had to write about yourself. DO NOT talk or use your phone during class. Quizzes were pretty easy if you studied. I wish I could take him again

You gotta read, why is that even a question? Can be a bit acerbic at times, but pretty friendly overall. Older guy. His lectures are more of a companion to the book than the other way around. I guess people aren't used to that, which answers my first question. Two papers and they're about YOU. Start early, he accepts papers as soon as they're done.

He is hilarious, witty, and all around super interesting. I was even considering changing my major to Psychology to take him again. People say he can be a smart mouth and rude, but I can see he has a soft spot for students and truly wants them to understand the material. His class requires reading, but his lectures are the goldmine.

One of my favorite professors! I had him for both Psych 101 and 41. People don't like that he's sarcastic and won't hesitate to call you out, but I think he's fair. His lectures can get a little off topic, so you should be sure to read the chapter before class. There's almost always a 20 question quiz every week, and a term paper. No homework.

I had a great time in his Psychology 1 class my first semester at WLACC. Play by the rules and you will do fine. KEEP UP WITH THE READING. Most of the quiz/test questions are from lectures as well as the text book. I really enjoyed his course and he's a no B.S. kind of guy. Have questions ready for him, he's always willing to help his students.

He seems tough at the start, but loosens up as the semester goes on. Lectures are fantastic and he's very knowledgeable about the subject. Quizzes are challenging if you don't thoroughly read the chapter, but papers are easy. Can be a bit sarcastic at times, but clearly cares a lot about student success. Give him a chance! This is seriously an amazing professor. True, he sometimes has a dry sense of humor and he demands respect. However, his lectures are never boring. Very knowledgeable. Make sure you take notes during lectures and read the chapter. His class really isn't that difficult, you just need to actually put in some effort. Wish he taught more psych courses!

Great professor! Funny and interesting lectures. I saw people complaining about professor Lee but that's because they lack discipline. I'm sorry but how can you attend college and can't keep quiet during the lecture or can't turn off your cell?! Anyway, if you read the book and write two decent essays , you'll score an A.

Don't take his humor personal. I say this class is easy if you read the chapters closely. If you talk to him privately after class, contrary to popular belief, he is caring and will help you out. His class is easy to grasp. Do not recommend though if you have a heavy schedule or poor time management. Alas, hes a serious professor with passion.
