Great professor! Stay on his good side otherwise he does not warm up at all. Basically only ask questions when they're well thought through and pay attention. He's well informed and will give you the best semester experience ever. He's brilliant. I took International Law, Intl. Organization, Intl. Political Economy, and then finally was in Model UN

Brilliant professor. Lectures are not hard to follow and attendance is strongly encouraged since he doesn't post anything on blackboard. I was told by professors that I could not finish with a Political Science degree without Morton. I listened and it is the best advice that I have taken in my entire undergraduate career. Take every class that he offers. You will be grateful and have learned much more than anywhere else. Be on time, let him lecture, take notes, and make flashcards.

Great, clear-cut lectures. Guy talks for the whole time. No chance to ask any questions unless you really know what you need. Very cold and direct but knowledgable with a hint of humor. You learn a lot because this guy has lived it but you don't get a chance to debate or discuss. Show up to lectures or you will die. Attendance is a part of grade.

I loved this class so much! Dr. Morton has a very dry sense of humor and the first exam may be daunting at first, but once you get into the note-taking groove, its all good. Exams usually cover a lot of material, but calmly reviewing a little each week and study groups will help tremendously. An amazing class for expanding your horizons!

Very clear about grading criteria, only three exams and attendance. His lectures are intense but very captivating; be ready to take notes. The only way to do well on tests is to make note cards and form study groups, but the testing material is extremely straightforward. You will learn more from this class than any other class you've ever taken.
