mr pedroza is anal about bein in your seat when he takes roll but other than that is a great professor. his lectures are very clear and interesting. he dished out a lot of work but as long as you stay on top of it you'll be fine. lots of extra credit.

He is one of the best instructors I ever had. Makes the class very interesting, funny and extraordinarily amazing. Gives lots of extra credit and is a great Spiderman fan. Exciting class. Made me fall in love with psychology.

I Love Mr. Pedroza's class. He is very passionate and excited to teach. He makes the class very interesting. The only thing that might hurt your grade is your research paper. He is very tough on grading it. In psych 100 i got an f on the paper and still passed the class with a B. He's Great.

The only part of the class that sucks is that he takes attendance every class and takes away points for each class you miss. Otherwise the class is easy. Before each test he gives you a list of things to study (the answers) and as long as you study that you'll be alright.

This class is very easy. I would highly recommend taking Pedroza. He has interesting stories and you learn alot from this class. He practically gives you the answers to the test, all you have to do is spend some time reviewing the material. Overall a great class.

Super nice man with an adorable sense of humor! Do the chapter notes and you'll be totally prepared for the tests. He gives a lot of EASY extra credit opportunities so take advantage of them if you plan on being absent, because he deducts points! There's a 10 page research paper you have to do, but other than that... good, easy, fun-enough class!

He's also very prompt and the minus points he gives for tardy and minor grammatical errors are what makes his class a little challenging. But he makes everyone in class laugh--this keeps sleepy-heads from falling asleep all the time. :P He's one of the best teachers I've had!

Prof. Pedroza is one of the best professors out there! His knowledge in psychology is high; Very helpful; Keeps you awake in class. The exams are pretty self-explanatory. He's not that picky on the research paper as most stated. I actually got an A+ after 2 drafts&it's not even due until mid-November. Do all of the extra credits like I did!

Mr. Pedroza was an awesome teacher. All you have to do is take notes from the book, do the relate papers and he gives you a study guide for the exams. Its pretty easy as long as you study and do the extra credit. Hes also really funny and makes you want to go to class for him. Take him if you want a good teacher and a easy grade if you study.

All you have to do is turn in your weekly class notes, biweekly relate paper (two pages long), and study hard for your exams, which he gives the answers to a few days in advance. There's a lot to memorize, so I would recommend flash cards. Don't miss or be late for class because he will deduct 10 pts. Funny & interesting. Highly recommended. EZ A!

Honestly, Pedroza is AWESOME. I looked forward to coming to class every FRIDAY MORNING (that's right--weekend morning class). There was never a dull moment when he was teaching. Make sure to really read into the terms he tells you to look over before his tests and take lots of notes on his case studies! GOOD LUCK, you will truly enjoy Psych w/ him!

Spidey is the absolute best. Both his intro and abnormal psych classes were super easy and interesting. You have to take weekly notes and attend class for his case studies, which are interesting! You will never be bored in Spideys class since he has a great sense of humor! I highly recommend his psychology classes!

Good professor. He really understands psychology and teaches it well. The book is somewhat necessary for chapter notes. He has a lot of lectures but they are funny and make sure you take notes. He loses a few points with me because he tends to deduct points for any little thing. Ex, if you misspell something or you forget something. Ugh!

Really good professor. I took him in intersession so it was a really fast paced class. You do need the book there's no escape out of that or you basically fail his class with no book. Tough grader if you forget the date on notes or forget to pick them up. Easy A though if you study.

Professor Pedroza is very nice and supportive. He is an excellent therapist. The cases he teaches in class are very good examples of the disorders and are very interesting. He offers a lot of extra credits. He gives you study guidelines for each chapters. It is easy to get an A.

Despite homework, which is just note taking from the textbook. The exams are fun to take. He is a caring and inspirational teacher. Pedroza's lectures are always entertaining. No matter the subject he will captivate your attention with his case studies from his experience working in the clinical field. If you want to do good on all exams, I strongly encourage reading the book, but pay attention more to the vocabulary he gives you when reviewing the chapter. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!

Pedroza is an amazing Professor. He gives you all the questions in advance before exams so you have plenty of time to study. He makes lectures interesting and fun! I had Professor Pedroza for remote instruction during COVID-19. All of our tests were basically open books and we had a couple of days to finish them. The homework was due every Wednesday which was basically summaries of the lectures Professor Pedroza presented. If you just turn in every assignment with minimal effort, it is an easy A or B.

He tried his absolute best to get familiar with canvas and make sure we were getting treated fair compared to how it used to be in person. He is so funny and definitely enjoys his job. He likes participation too.

His class is so amazing. The lectures are very funny and he is a great teacher. give you extra credit if you need . I like his class very much and if I have the opportunity take it this class again I will do it.

I took Psychology 100 during Summer 2021. It is an easy A if you show up and pay attention to his lectures. Homework consisted 2-4 pages of notes, Exams were free response questions, and 1 relate paper. He was a very kind and funny professor.

He's honestly so great, a very sociable and caring person. He is very understanding of the situations of students. There is one paper due, but it is pretty simple. The &quot;homework&quot; he had us do was take notes. The exams are 10 questions, but they are written responses, about half a page each. Nothing too bad if you pay attention in class &amp; do work.

Professor Pedroza is a great choice! The homework consists of 2 pages of notes every chapter &amp; there are 2 papers: a one-page autobiography &amp; a 4 page relate paper. The exams are 40 questions multiple choice &amp; 5 questions for case studies he speaks about in class so make sure to take detailed notes on them, you'll need to write half a page.

Professor Pedroza keeps a positive and genuine attitude toward students, is passionate about psychology, and gives memorable lectures. Homework consists of 2-page notes on weekly chapter readings and 1 essay on how course terms relate to your life. Plus, he lists expected topics for upcoming exams. Unless you are disruptive in class, you will pass.

He was literally one of my favorite professors I have taken. He is so hilarious during the lectures. The homework was so easy it is just 2 pages of notes each week &amp; test were easy (40 Q + 3-4 written Q) he also tells stories (case studies) that will be in the test so pay attention. you will do 1 paper which is super easy &amp; gives EC. take notes during his case study lectures! every detail helps ur exam essay. gives u the questions for exams, so studying for them doesnt feel overwhelming. textbook is online! one paper and one EC paper. (u could pass if u attend most classes, dont use ur phone, get C or more on exams, and do one paper) EC @ the end is drawing + defining terms

His class consisted of just note taking from the textbook for each chapter, four exams for every four chapters, an extra credit paper, a relate paper, and an autobiography. IMPORTANT: Take notes when he talks about his case studies!!! The exams will be easy if you study the questions he gives you.

Mr. Pedroza is great teacher! I love his enthusiasm. He cracks jokes and makes class so much fun! His gradings is very fair and his lectures are very clear and helps out. He prepares you for the exams by letting you know what to expect in the exams so it makes it less stressful! You only study on what he tells you what youll see on your exams!

Many ways to get extra credit. He will give feedback on your exam answers before they're even submitted. Lectures can be boring but he is pretty funny sometimes.

AMAZING! If I could take this course over and over again I would. A couple papers, notes every week, he basically tells you what to study for when there is an exam. PAY ATTENTION in class. Easy A if you work hard for your grade! He truly cares about his students.

I honestly don't think I will ever have a professor like Pedroza he was so funny and nice. You can tell he honestly wants his students to do well. You're only graded on notes and exams, so you have to do all the notes and do pretty decent on the exams to get a good grade. Again, he is a really good professor and it's a very easy class

Professor Spidey rocks!! This is a very easy class as long as you attend every lecture. 4 exams, 1 paper, and notes about the chapters are to be passed once a week. His stories related to chapters are very interesting and funny. I totally recommend :D

Professor Pedroza A.K.A Spidey is hands down the best professor I have had at SAC. His lectures were always amazing and entertaining. I had him at 6:50 AM and he never failed to keep the classroom entertained with his lectures/stories. His class consists of 4 exams, which are super easy because he tells you what to study. If only I could write more

I never got around to grading him, I took his class in 2022 and it was one of the best classes ever. He tells you exactly what will be on the test and he's very accommodating. I took PSYC 100 and 250 and I wish he taught more because all his lectures were so interesting and fun. He is one of the best professors on campus and one of the best ever!

He is a great professor and the learning environment fun & intriguing. Online book free for you to access & as long as you read through the textbook & write notes (he stamps them every class & counts all the stamps on exam day) you are passing your homework. He states clearly in his study guide what will be on the exam & he sticks to it.

This professor inspired me to continue my education. His lectures were very interesting and he always made it on a topic that would interest the students. As long as you read the book and pay attention to his PowerPoint presentations, you should pass the class with no problem. He is able to relate with his students so well.

Absolutely the best PSYC100 professor ever, he's the only teacher who knows how to get people engaged in the lectures. He is so considerate with grading and knows how to communicate with you! Homework is just your notes and tests are just mainly studying on your own time and he explains what's going to be on the tests.

It is the type of class you can be excited about. I had his 6:55AM class and still it was worth it. He makes lectures fun and interesting with lots of interesting stories.

I took his class for the summer semester and worried I'd drop because of it being Monday through Thursday and I had gotten used to going to class twice a week but his lectures were so fun and easy to follow I ended up going to every class excited for each lecture! He follows his grading guidelines pretty strictly so make sure you follow them.

Professor Pedroza is amazing! I took his class in the Winter Intercession 2023, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. I'm just writing this review because one of his inspirational quotes came to mind and helped me out through this semester in college. He's not just a good teacher but a great person as well!

He's so funny, he has tons of hilarious stories and experiences of his time working and studying psychology that he implements into his lectures and lessons, that make learning and remembering the content soo much easier and enjoyable. Only thing is that there's weekly notetaking taking which isn't too bad

I love him. He's such a great proffesor and person and he gives out extra credit which is definitely a plus. You won't regret taking him trust!
