The lectures are posted online after, so class is not mandatory. Lots of chances for extra credit. All assignments are online and need access code so just buy the book. Tries to be funny and shows videos in class (mostly Seinfeld but asks for video input). Homework is easy. Very easy to pass with an A. *No + or - grading.

Hardly used the textbook. Hilarious professor. StudyCube helps a lot with this class, but his lectures are really well done as well. It's a long class, but he makes it much better. TONS of extra credit. Like oh my god. So much. Do all of it and get 100s on every homework and you can coast on the last test.

One of the best professors at UCF. I struggle with all things accounting and slacked off a little half way through and am still going to finish the class with a C. Lots of points available, do the homework and quizzes and you will pass the class! Textbook use only if you need it explained more.

My favorite professor at UCF so far!! He makes the lectures fun and I actually learned. I thought Accounting would be boring but he inspired me to genuinely love it. Extra credit for every exam, homework and participation questions every week and 3 exams, no cumulative. Easy A if you pay attention and do the work. Absolutely loved the class!

Dr. Reinking is an awesome guy. Makes the material easy to understand and wants you to succeed. He is hilarious and makes the letters very entertaining. Lectures aren't really mandatory though. I suggest going to the lectures leading to the first test. If you do well you can skip the rest and just study the book. Worked for me!

Watched the lectures via lecture capture, did all the work online + the ton of extra credit he gives, then studied for the exam for a couple of hours by doing the practice exams on the Connect Website and finished the class with an A. Didn't crack open the book once but you do need the code to access Connect online.

He makes accounting less miserable, and offers a fair amount of extra credit. His exams aren't too bad, and he provides a lot of opportunities to do well. Would highly recommend

This professor is one of my favorites so far. His homework has unlimited attempts and he offers a fair amount of extra credit. Exams are always like the test review and he offers study practice exams online. If you study and do all the work, its an easy class. Highly recommend taking this teacher for financial accounting.

Literally one of my favorite classes. The class was mixed mode so we only met 5 times the whole semester, but the group activities actually helped me! The final was not cumulative, which was nice. Held awesome review sessions before each exam, and his study guides were spot on.

If you want to pass accounting PLEASE TAKE HIM, I don't even know where to start, Mr Reinking is the best at UCF. Tons of Extra credit, I did really bad on all the test but I still pass the class with a B. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK.

I just got done with him for the fall semester for 2018. I took his class mostly online and did go to the 5 mandatory class meetings. He makes accounting enjoyable. I personally used the book and I read from it to help learn the material better. I'm not sure how I would have done without it, but Dr. Reinking is a great teacher. Would recommend

Awesome professor, my first time taking an accounting and ended up with a 97%. He is one who genuinely WANTS you to learn and pass. If you study the video from the study sessions and do practice problems, you will do well. Homework is hardest part of the class imo, took me hours to do but that is just because of the format of the site.

ACG 2021 is a Mixed Mode class where he lectures using videos and practice problems. Five times during the semester you have to come into class to a lab where you apply the material you learned. This is a class that requires you to teach yourself. Book is not required but helpful. He gives exam reviews along with a study guide.

This professor makes great lecture videos and is actually pretty funny. The mixed mode class was not bad because he was such an awesome professor. 10/10

I took this class during a summer semester, and it was by far the best class I've taken at UCF! Professor Reinking is amazing! He will help you understand anything you have any questions about, gives great feedback and tells you where you may need to improve, and he also answers emails extremely fast. I like his teaching style, even though it is heavily online based you can really learn with the tools that are available. To do well in this class its a good idea to have a good concept in accounting.

Like most REAL classes, this professor provides everything that is needed to get an A. It is up to you if you have the discipline to get the easy A. Makes things easy to understand, along with provides good tips when going to office hours. Videos are good enough that textbook is not needed. Homework is easy to find online and exams aren't too bad.

Easy to get an A or B+. Class has only 6 meetings, and you do group work but it was easy and enjoyable. Tests must be taken in testing center but he gives good study guides and test reviews to help you. You have unlimited amount of attempts for HW.

This was my first accounting class, and Prof Reinking did a phenomenal job. The workload wasn't too much, and he always provides optional extra worksheets if you need. He's very engaging with the students and makes this class as painless as possible. He also offers quite a few EC opportunities.

Prof Reinking is an awesome professor. He provides example packs for each chapter that you fill out that align with the homework and the test. Extra credit is also given throughout the course. He responds to emails quickly even on the weekends. I feel like I obtained lots of information from this class that will help understand the larger concepts.

Usually homework once a week that wasn't too bad but it did take a bit of time. I read the book and actually did the homework and I thought it was a pretty easy class. He also has a ton of videos on each chapter. The test was similar to the homework but easier. A little extra credit was given but it really doesn't do much. Final was not cumulative.

It was a simple class and the Professor is very laidback. It was only difficult in the sense that Accounting can be complicated.

Lots of lectures and accounting is not part of my major so it was pretty difficult for me. Reinking does try very hard to make the class engaging and fun and it is. His lecture videos and guided notes make the class so much easier. Make sure to go to his exam reviews for a lot of exam practice questions.

Great prof. HW was extensive and tests were difficult. Honestly I thank this class for showing me how much I hate business. I withdrew from the class and changed my major. But the prof was a great guy really nice and a good teacher I was just really bad at accounting. If your are serious about business/accounting I def recommend. If not good luck..

My first accounting class and he made me understand so much. I highly respect him because how well he teaches. He would have great reviews for every chapter and videos available. Gave every resource needed to be successful. Honestly I wish every professor was as clear and understanding as him! Still definitely a challenging course but attainable A.

Dr. Reinking is by far one of the best professors I have had. It can be a challenging course, but there are plenty of resources offered by Dr. Reinking to learn and exceed in the course. HW each week and worth a lot, so do it. 4 tests, including not a cumulative final. Great professor, cannot say better things about him.

Halfway through the semester, I began to slack off a little and didn't really pull through until the very end. If it weren't for his zoom sessions and finals study guides, I most definitely wouldn't have ended with a B!

There were 4 discussion posts and near-weekly homework assignments. Plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Smoothest experience with a professor/class to date.

His class is made up of 4 exams, chapter homework assignments, discussions, and some materia. If you complete the notes template, attend the optional lectures, and understand the homework, it's basically a guaranteed A. The tests are worded similarly to the study guide. You won't be able to find the answers online. Online, exams were open note.

Prof. Reinking is a great professor, he really seems like he cares about your grade and tries to give you as many chances to do well as a possible. Where I ran into trouble was tests. This is not an in person class despite there being labs in person and the study materials didn't feel like they prepared me for what would be on the exam.

The type of class this is makes it so that the professor can only do so much, as you only meet about 6 times during the semester so there is not very much interaction with him. However, he is very knowledgeable and outlines the course very well. Quite difficult class for lots of people, and definitely do the homework for practice.

He's charismatic, funny, and knows his stuff. His test review sessions prepare you perfectly for the exam and he is good at explaining and laying out the exact expectations for the course and how to succeed. As long as you show up to class and do the homework you will pass.

Oh boy. This class is difficult, but not bad at all. Biweekly learning labs are mandatory, and you need to self teach a little for the exams which are a lot of your grade BUT his exam reviews are really helpful. Study for the exams and you will get a good grade. HW is on connect so textbook is mandatory and helpful. Labs are fun and with a group

For a class with so few meetings, the course content and professor are truly stellar. Dr. Reinking cares for his students, and makes a course which should not be entertaining at least somewhat. The exam reviews were extremely useful and the Labs were good. Be prepared for a very self paced course, however.

This was my first semester at UCF, and Prof. Reinking was easily the best so far. The way he taught was straightforward and simple. Every assignment is made to help you learn and prepare. Professor Reinking is the best professor I've had so far. You have to learn the material online, but he posts videos explaining the content with great examples. Although, there are no official lectures in this class, he has AMAZING video lectures online that go more or less based off of the homework you are working on at the time. Reinking was probably one of the funniest professors I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend taking this over the summer, though. I felt rushed and couldn't get a good grasp of the material quick enough. Some good things were the tons of note packets, videos, & assignments that helped w studying. With enough time, anyone could do well in this class.

I was scared of this class because I didn't know what to use to study in an online class. I ended up looking up Automatic Tutoring (a tutoring company just for accounting at UCF). I did their reviews for each exam (they were offered for free), and they were a life saver!! You can get an A between automatic tutoring and professors' study guides.

This guy is awesome. I wouldn't rely on any other professor to teach accounting because he makes it in a way that is understandable. The class is fast-paced pace, but what helped me was STUDYING (watching his videos is SO helpful), taking notes on the vids, doing the EXTRA CREDIT (all of them), and doing the Connect and Materia practice games.

Great professor. I wouldn't say it's an easy A, but you could totally get one if you desired it. Have to watch videos or read book in order to learn, and if you don't do either you're not gonna get a good grade. Unlimited attempts on the homework, which helps the grade a lot, though they can be time consuming if you don't know what you're doing.

Easy class if you watched the videos and did homeworks on time, literally impossible to not get a 100 on all HW assignments. Professor Reinking is so upbeat he made me not want to die during his 7 a.m. class. Overall, you're going to learn independently in this class through just the book and the homework. The labs were nice study opportunities and basically a free A. The exams are tough but not unfairly so.

As someone who didn't know what to expect for my first semester studying business at UCF, I am sure glad I took Professor Reinking. Very easy to tell how much this guy enjoys teaching and the amount of care he puts into his job. Accounting is still difficult to learn, so don't expect an easy A. Put the work in, and you will learn a lot.

One of the few professors who makes good explanation videos will keep offering extra-credit assignments which was great. Also, you have unlimited tries for his assignments and in the class assignments, the TA's check your classwork so you will always get a 100% if you finish on time. His second exam was really hard, but if u will do fine.

Professor Jeff is the best! His lectures are amazing. He does detailed videos about every content given in the course. As long as you watch all of the videos and take notes, you should be able to get an A easily. Also, he gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit throughout the semester.

The first 2 tests are insanely easy, use these to boost your grades. 3rd test is insanely hard and has so much material on it. The final doesn't include anything from the 3rd test on it and is fairy easy. Don't slack at the start of the year and screw your grade over. 3% total extra credit is offered throughout this course and some other bonuses.

ACG 2021 with Reinking has been literally amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better professor for my first-ever Accounting class. He is so funny and makes his online lecture videos super entertaining. He is extremely kind and super approachable. This class was honestly a breeze as long as you pay attention. He provides several forms of resources via videos, a textbook, and assingments. The content is paced pretty well and he does great at explaining things when asked. It's in the REAL format, which isn't that bad since the (lovely) TAs check that your work is correct before you can leave.

This class was manageable with the provided resources like online videos and study guides. I also used Accuity Tutoring, which helped me secure a high A to boost my GPA (offered free for 2021). Watch the Exam Review, take the mock exam, and study the review questions (both Accuity and Professor provided ones)—follow this plan, and you'll do great!

Considering how much of a mess the Business department is, Reinking is a blessing in disguise. His lecture videos are very detailed and understandable, he offers lots of recourses to receive help, and he genuinely cares for his students. Highly recommend. He TEACHES. Pay attention to his videos, take notes, take HW seriously. You'll succeed.

Lots of work and content. However, Reinking makes it easy to understand and study. His videos and homework are easy to understand. Just make sure you are studying heavily for exams. This is one of the more difficult accounting classes. It gets easier after Financial accounting.

as a business minor this was my first business class i had to take. he is very passionate about accounting and makes sure everyone knows whats happening. class is like every 2-3 weeks and you just complete an assignment with a group. tests weren't that hard if you studied everything.

Class is pretty easy and the teacher gives lots of material for students to practice ahead of the exams. Also gives 2 overall reviews ahead of exams. As long as you do the work on time, this class is not hard. The extra credit is also nice. Great teacher who loves the subject and is genuinely excited to teach it to students.

Class is fairly simple. Around 6 class meetings spread out between the semester (ALL's). Very nice guy and he is very passionate. Split into 3 blocks, starting with the basics of accounting moving onto more advanced principles. Tests are weighted around 40%, but are very doable with the study materials he provides. Overall, I recommend this course.

This class is in the ALL format so you barely get to see him face-to-face but he is a great professor. His lecture videos are how you do most of your learning and he does a great job of explaining each topic and showing how the processes work. The class is not very difficult and he still provides lots of extra credit if you need it.Take this class.

Jeff is one of the greatest professors in the CoBA. The exams are exactly what is on the study guide. This class made me passionate about accounting which is crazy coming from a Marketing major. The stuff you learn is gonna be applicable for the rest of your working life if you go down the business route.

Lots of Extra Credit, so do it. Exams are really easy with my lowest being an 85. Watch the exam review twice and make throw in the Study guide and you will get a 80+ on Exams. The in class labs are guaranteed 100%. Great Professor as I actually learned something. No reason not to get a B minimum in this class. Put in work and you will get an A.

As long as you're willing to set aside the needed time to study the material, do the homework, and study for the tests, there's not many reasons why you shouldn't pass the class. For the 6 week accelerated class, about 10 hours a week worked right for me. Do the extra credits!

Dr. Reinking is a fantastic professor who cares about the success of his students. He gives out multiple extra credits to ensure you have every possible chance to raise your grades. Overall, a fantastic teacher that you won't find much in your academic career.

This professor gives you everything you need to pass the class. Many extra credit opportunities, and test reviews that tell you exactly what will be on the test. In-class labs were easy and ta's are helpful. I highly recommend this professor!!

Professor Reinking is wonderful. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He's truly here for the people. The class itself I found to be slightly difficult because of the amount of information so prepare to study. But he's so sweet and has infinite amounts of resources for you to access. Goated prof who cares about his students and provides plenty resources to study and pass exams. I failed the course because accounting is not for me but I still respect Reinking very much because he put in lots of effort to make the class informative.

I was one of his best students: 97%. I say this b/c I had zero interest in accounting prior. Jeff is the greatest professor I've ever had; the man convinced me to switch majors. He is on your side. Excels at explaining the material, and he truly loves what he does. If you try & don't do well in his class, you're simply not meant for accounting.

Fav professor so far here. Class is just like any business ALL course. His reviews were just like the test, extra helpful to watch his lecture videos bc he points out exam tips! His TAs are very kind and helpful, so classwork was flexible (though this depends on table you get). Overall, love his enthusiasm and genuine interesting in teaching
