Dr. Watt will prepare the most for the final and future calculus courses. You'll have lots of quizzes and homework, also about 6 tests, compared about 3 tests in the other sections, but he'll reward you for good attendance, and turning in work (even if it's incorrect). It's a lot to do with effort. His lectures are awesome, but he can be fast.

Great professor. Very good with partial credit on the exam and tests. Great at explaining real-world applications of what we learned.

Professor Watt is one of my favorites. He cares about his students, wants them to succeed, and makes lectures clear and understandable. He is very easy to get ahold of outside class. He does have pop quizzes in lecture, but they are what you learned the lecture before. For exams, do the practice tests he provides because they will help.

He was really great at teaching the subject. Make sure to do the nightly practice problems they usually show up on pop quizzes. He's super helpful in office hours. Tests aren't too bad since most of the problems have been worked in class or were on homework

Dr. Watt's courses meet more often, but it's very worth it. He's an amazing professor that connects math problems to the real world and always has fun stories to tell in class. His lectures are straightforward and easy to understand. Just make sure you show up to class because he randomly takes attendance and you could easily get free points.

Best professor I've had in college so far. He's a thorough lecturer and all of his homework is optional (although all his pop quizzes come from homework). He occasionally tells about an interesting application about the math concept which I appreciate, if you're willing to take a 9am I guarantee your grade will be better with him as your professor.

He is actually good at lecturing and, if you ask questions, he will answer them. My only real issue is he just gets off track too often. In a 75 minute course he will talk about Seinfeld, Jimmy Carter, or Carrier Pigeons for 45 minutes and never make up the content later. All in all fine but I believe there are better teachers to take calc with.

I got 103% in Calc 1 with Prof Le, but in Calc 2 with Prof Watt, I have struggled for 75%. Very hard transition. He does not have printed notes to follow along. There is a quiz every week. He does not provide solutions to HW so you can never check your work to LEARN from it. He is very kind and organized, but this class hurt my GPA and wellbeing

Professor Watt is one of the best math teachers I've had. I had him for calc 1 and calc 2, and he never disappointed. Lectures are very important, and if you do the practice tests, you will do fine on the exams. He is very knowledgeable on what he is teaching and is accessible outside of class. 100% recommend and would take again.

Very passionate prof!! It's not every day that your math prof brings in printed research papers to show you how Taylor Series and hyperbolic cosines are used in real life. I had no idea that the St. Louis arch was designed from using coshx and not -x^2. It helped to remind me of what I'm working towards, and I found it motivating in a way :)

Watt is literally the greatest professor I've had in my two years as an Electrical Engineering student. His lectures were not only extremely clear, but he was able to relate the math we're doing to real life examples. His tests were extremely fair. There were ones I did bad on but I never felt them to be unfair I simply didn't study well enough.

Amazing teacher and fast grader. But quizzes in every class can be annoying. No curve no bonus points and no sample exams either. Tests are usually easier than the questions you see in the homework and quizzes.
