This guy is seriously a breeze. That is, if you're not the typical moronic Southern student. He goes pretty fast but will repeat anything if you ask him. He's not unreasonable. He's just new to teaching.

Give him a chance, he really wants his students to learn and understand the lectures. He is always around for extra help!

This guy is seriously my favorite teacher in SCSU he goes a little fast but always asks students to tell him if he is. Hes really dedicated and ive even talked to him in his office and was very helpful. Great teacher :)

Webb is a new teacher, and is great for a new teacher, yes he can get confused @ times, but he finds a way to make the whole class understand the material. He is very understanding, and just wants his students to do well

This class started out insanely hard, but, to his credit, he made adjustments once he realized half the class was failing. He made the exams much easier, assigned extra credit, and slowed way down on the material. Recommended.

I didn't learn anything from this class. He barely touched any concepts, and he stressed too much of the history of chemistry.

this was the easiest class. he gave so much extra credit and the tests and problem sessions were not hard. everything on them was covered in class-no surprises.

told how he took comments from last semester, and made adjustments, taught slower, gives extra credit.. explains everything, takes questions, available for extra help. if you do your homework, and read your lab manual like you are supposed to, you wouldn't complain about not knowing what you are doing in lab. better than many veteran teachers. A+

As long as you pay attention and study you will do fine in this class. He is always available for extra help and will stay as long as the student needs to, not to mention how hot he is!! Great class, great prof, would totally recommend him.

Extremly easy class. The chemistry is very basic. I did alot more in high school. Tests are right off the slides and he tells you the important things so there are no surprises. It is a very easy course for a non-science major.

Dr.Webb was an extremely helpful professor who would be in his office hours with me until the late hours in the eveyning. If you are not willing to work hard for your grade then dont take this course! He will not let you fail if you try and get help from him! Dr.Webbs tests are not hard if you study! He was a great teacher take his class!

Dr Webb is a great guy! He is extremely generous and is always available and willing to help, you just have to ask. He, by far, goes above and beyond to help you succeed, but don't be lazy! You have to study!

I took this class during the summer session. Extremely easy lecture as were the exams. Dr. Web was always there to answer any questions. Make sure you go to the review classes.

Not only is he pretty cute. He is funny.. always goes above and beyond to make sure his students get it. He gives no quiz's but his problem sets really help for the exams. If you can take him for lab and lecture. Too bad the morons at Southern are letting him leave....

Prof Webb ROCKS! I was so scared of this class and he made me actually like Organic! He is always willing to help in and out of class and he is very cool about if u don't understand it. He doesn't make u feel dumb...but smart. He is awesome !!

Dr. Webb is one of the nicest guys around. He really wants you to do well, and he is always offering to help outside of class. If you go to class and work hard on the problem sets, there's no reason you can't do well on the tests. He teaches from powerpoints so you arent constantly writing down every word...he makes them available to the class.

Dr. Webb is by far the best Chem professor at Southern! He is passionate about what he teaches and really wants students to do well. How often we forget that there are very few professors who feel it neccessary to truly help outside of class. Dr. Webb's door was ALWAYS open and he was always smiling and ready to help! i'll miss him very much!

I don't know what the previous comment was talking about but Dr. Webb did a wonderful job teaching a very difficult class in a short period of time. (Also I don't know what the comment about picking on a few girls means but Dr. Webb was always respectful and helpful to each and every student he had.

A good professor however he did tend to single out certain students. He relied heavily on power points which were not always the easiest to understand so I could see why someone could have trouble in his class but it was nice that he posted them online.The lab was very easy due to his teaching style however in lecture less so (due to powerpoints)

Dr. Webb is extremely helpful! If you don't understand something he tries really hard for you to get it. Going to him for help will help you the most, if your lost. He is enthusiastic funny. You think chemistry sucks i think he'll make you change your mind or atleast make you laugh about it. Great teacher. Take him.

Excellent professor, I am going back to school so have to take night classes and luckily he is teaching them, he is clear, concise and fair. He will stay as late as it takes until his students understand. I wish he was a full prof here.

He was an amazing teacher. e always tries to help you understand because it bothers him when you don't get it. He is always willing to help with lecture and lab during office hours. He is an awesome guy and I am taking him for CHE 125 next semester. You WILL NOT regret taking this professor.

Took this class as a requirement. Did not expect to do well since Chemistry is not my thing. Ended up really enjoying it. Webb is a great teacher -- amiable, clear, though he does move fast. Lab was a different story -- what a pathetic instructor. Condescending, incompetent, rude, aloof - and lab never matched lecture. Can't blame Webb.

This class was amazing! he was able to connect the material to things students would understand. He only gives 3 tests and goes over everything its on the class before. he NEVER uses the book so dont buy it! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who struggles with chem. Didn't do so well, but I'm in love with this professor. If you can resist drooling over him and just pay attention, you'll do fine. Finals are the easiest of all the tests

Had this professor for Chem 120, 121, and 125 I liked him so much. I never enjoyed Chemistry until I had him. Really helpful and easy to talk to. He's also really funny. Highly recommended.

He is a WONDERFUL professor. He really wants you to succeed. If you're confused ask for help. Tests are directly from the powerpoints. But go to class cuz its hard to learn on own. Made a difficult subject easier :)

I loved Professor Webb! He was very clear and direct. He is willing to help you after class if you need help. I am not very into Chemistry but Professor Webb engaged the class and made it as fun as possible. I would definitely recommend him! :)

Jeff is a really helpful guy. Always answers questions if you have them, even though the lectures are fairly large (100+ people). He also has office hours if you need more help. He can be a little scattered at times and falls behind the syllabus, but all around a teacher I would take again.

Poor Dr. Webb...I feel like he got the overflow of all the instructors who were unable to teach their students properly. Always helpful, always clear and willing to slow it down if need be, regardless if he was your actual instructor or not. He helped our CHE 125 class significantly. He's a brilliant man who genuinely cares about the chem students.

Took this class during the summer. He was so helpful and really took the time to explain everything and make sure that you understand it. He really goes over everything thoroughly and tries to explain it in a way that everyone can understand. I was terrible and ver uninterested before this class. He makes you want to learn and makes the class fun.

Great lecturer, tries to add a little humor to class, also hes interesting to talk to during office hours. Very helpful and clear. He post all the slides and homework questions prior to start of class giving you an upper hand if you go over them before lecture. Lecture great, lab and recitation not. Test cover to a T what he teaches, not difficult.

Dr. Webb is the best! His class is consisted mainly of PowerPoint slides. Only a few quizzes. Super easy and he is really nice and helpful if you ask questions. I would highly recommend him.

Organic Chemistry is not an easy subject by any means, but Dr. Webb made it clear. He was always available to give me the help I needed, and he was clear about what was on the exams. I struggle with Chemistry, yet he made me enjoy the subject. Actually makes Organic easy to understand :)

Dr. Webb is a great professor. No tricks, and not out to get you. The material is not easy but is not impossible. If you skip class it will be hard to catch up. Besides all that he is very funny and like-able. If you go to his office hours he will help you. ESPECIALLY with the difficult labs. TAKE HIM 100%. Doesn't get any better in the Chem Dept

Dr. Webb is an awesome teacher. He is super dedicated to helping you succeed. IF you have any trouble at all he will always be willing to make meeting times available to you in order to help you succeed. He truly cares about the students.

Probably the best prof I ever had. He explains things so clearly and he's hilarious. His class made me enjoy chemistry! There is not enough space here to explain how great he is. I did so well in lecture that my terrible lab grade (had lab w/diff prof who was not good) didnt bring down my A. You are missing out if you don't take him!

Dr. Webb is one of the best professors in Southern. I went into organic chem thinking it would be impossible but Dr. Webb made it very easy to understand. I dreaded the weekly recitation quizzes but in the long run it does help you. If you are struggling, go to his office hours for help. He's super approachable and explains things clearly.

I can't say any bad things about Doctor Webb. He is one of the best! You can really tell that he cares about his studentsand will work with them one on one to make sure they really get it. The class is hard in itself, but you will get through it if you go to tutoring or go to his office hours if you need help. I most likely will end up getting a B.

The class (and especially the final exam) was by no means easy. However, Dr. Webb is a great professor and explained all of the material in a way that one can grasp. If you go to class and study all of the material on the study guides, you will pass. Definitely take him if you have had trouble with chem in the past!!

Dr. Webb will keep class entertaining, but be ready to translate his left-handed writing. He always makes sure the class as a whole understands the material. FYI, he swears A LOT!

Dr. Webb is a fun and very intelligent professor. He simplifies difficult subjects and genuinely wants his students to do well. There is no textbook and attendance is not mandatory, though it is best to show up to each class. His tests have 8-10 questions and he also offers extra credit opportunities.

Very funny and caring guy! Very approachable. Made lecture interesting. Answers questions very well. One of the hardest classes I've taken but Webb gives great lectures to help you out. You must practice on your own! As far as a chemistry professor goes he has to be the best one! I would take again! This is chemistry so be ready to work.

Great guy. Super funny and even makes the asynch classes feel like theyre in person. You can tell he really cares to make things a bit more enjoyable. For it being a hard class, hes a great prof and explains things well. Your lowest exam grade is dropped. Gave extra credit opportunities which added 20 points to my final exam average.

if you go to class and take notes you'll be fine. he's a really straightforward guy and he's not here to trick you, but the class is really intense so if you don't put in the work you will not do well.

orgo is a hard class in general so the material is tough but webb makes it easier to understand and tries his best to be accessible outside of class to provide extra help. loved him had him for che 120 and che 125 the class was easy because of him!! if you can- take webb!!

Dr. Webb is straightforward and doesn't try to trick students. However, be aware that he expects a solid understanding of chemistry coming into the class. He moves quickly and it's very easy to feel overwhelmed. His tests and quizzes are fair, he gives partial credit, and he has office hours. He's also super funny and keeps things lighthearted!

Loved Dr. Webb - made nursing chemistry simple! He does move quickly through lectures, however, he will always answer and complete practice problems as requested. Pulls through and is constantly transparent. Grades consist of 3 exams - best 2 of 3 (40%), recitation - 9 quizzes, 1 dropped (10%), lab (25%), and a final exam (25%). Please take him!

Loved Dr. Webb and glad I chose to take his course. The PowerPoints were a bit vague however he tells you exactly what to expect on exams and allots review time specifically for exam-geared questions. He seems to genuinely want to see his students succeed in his course and cares about our understanding.

Take this professor. Explains things so clearly that you don't get from lecture, and is extremely generous with grading/due dates. You have to go because it's a lab but if you're late he doesn't rag on you. Extremely chill and funny, helpful, forgiving, all around amazing professor. 11/10 and would def take again, great guy.

I met him when studying in the chem hallway by his office - he stopped to interrupt and help, Webb loves to teach. I then had the pleasure of him being my rec prof. where he takes time to explain and grade fairly. I feel encouraged to ask for clarity bc of his kindness. Extremely likable and smart. Wish I had him for 120. Highly recommend for chem!

Professor Webb really cares about his students, and wants them to succeed. tests are worth a lot of your grade so make sure you know the material, but his office hours are amazing, make sure you go if you do not understand something. he also offers extra credit that is worth 10 points.

Profesor Web is by far one of the best STEM professors I've ever had, he truly cares about you as a person and sets you up for success. He has amazing office hours that a lot of people go to because he actually helps you understand everything. I've recommended him to all my friends that are taking this class next semester. Great professor who genuinely cares about his students and their success in his class. It is truly a difficult course but as long as you attend lectures and go to his office hours you will be fine. This class was by far one of the least stressful prerequisites for nursing. Dr. Webb is an amazing professor and puts a lot of time and effort for his students. You still need to put in a lot of work for this class, but Dr. Webb really makes each topic make sense! Always ask him questions if you're confused on topics because he will always help!

I've taken Professor Webb for multiple classes now and he's an amazing professor. Even though the material he teaches is very hard he's there to help with anything you need. Go to his office hours , hes very kind and takes the time to teach you anything you need, also tells you whats gonna be on exams. Offers A LOT of extra credit and CURVES grades

Took Webb's summer class. 4 weeks = ACCELERATED. Lab: PREP your ntbk BEFORE lab. the more u know, the faster u get out. FOCUS on lectures before lab. he tells u the formulas!! take a pic of the board so less worries on notes. lecture: 2-3 chapters and exams every week (5 total, dropping lowest one). LISTEN bc some slides are not on exams.

Best professor ever! If you want to pass chem take him. He teach super well, he takes thing slow if he see class doen't understand it. He will stop if you have a question. 10 extra credit assignment, drop lower exam of the first 3 exam. No homework, so just focus on studying for exams. Recitation quizzes super easy! Good study guides too!!!

absolutely fantastic teacher

Dr. Webb is a nice guy and is very funny; and while this class was not super engaging for me, he made it very easy to pass through many extra credit opportunities, clear grading criteria, and simple assignments. We had a fairly comprehensive orgo section for this course and I scored well on the exam without studying. He is a great teacher.

He was a good professor. I do not believe my grade was because of him. It was my own doing, he was always available, caring, always thoughtful. Gave extra credit to help us out, and liked to curve grades if needed. Very honest and straight to the point. Enjoyed his lectures, always let us out 10 min early. Has wife and kids so very thoughtful.

Great guy, very funny and likes to make jokes and is always open and willing to help. He really wants everybody to pass and do well. Hes a great professor and provides the resources needed to be successful in his class. Hes very kind and probably one of the best chemistry professors you could end up with. Attend class, study, and you will be fine.
