He's very interesting w/ his powerpoints and videos. He's also never reluctant to help students when he's in his office. All you need to is put forth some effort, and you should come out w/ a good grade.

Professor Wilson made Geology interesting and fun! Who would have thought that? The class was very easy, and the labs usually took me less than an hour. You work in groups, but it is slightly difficult to work in a group larger than two people, because there wouldn't be much work for anyone.

He was easy and very understanding when I had an absence and willing to work with me or any student.

Mr. wilson,I appreciate the fact that you do take the time to teach the class and actually care about doing so. The only thing that I think you need to work on is using more visuals that are applicable to the solar system and moon cycles. I messed up pretty bad on that test :/

The classes always seemed rushed and we still had trouble covering all the material.He is a big fan of Mind Maps. Be prepared to prepare and present a group Power Point Project and a term paper.

Dr. Wilson is an awesome teacher! He keeps you interested in the subject and manages to keep your attention. His method of using Mind Maps is really helpful, especially when writing the paper due at the end of the semester.

This class was mostly env. sci. majors and very small. He treated this class like a graduate level class so it was a little hard... I enjoyed this class though I was put in it as a required course to graduate. The teaching methods are what make the class interesting. The Second Life is a tool all professors should use specially those with labs.

This is the first time I really truley enjoyed coming to a science class. He kept it interesting and taught at a level where everyone can understand. If I to rate from a scale of 1-10 he is definite 20!

second life is just not my thing, its cool in how it shows you differnt geological stuff, but getting tired of using computers, it makes one lazy.

Overall i can say that he is an outstanding professor. He keeps things interesting, easy to follow along, throws in humor into the lecture every so often, and is a very understanding person when you have questions or need help. If this class if part of your major or if you just need a science course to take then I recommend him to you.

I did not know that geology was no interesting and how i can apply it to my everyday life. i thought that this was going to be a boring class, but i was wrong it was very educational and interesting. i just feel so bad this professor is not teaching the second part. he uses the newest technology to teach. LOVED IT.

Dr. Wilson was a really cool professor, he made understanding geography very easy and was very helpful for all projects.

So far Dr. Wilson has been the best college "profe" I have had. he took pity of our college wallets and always kept us attentive with his very interesting lectures. I started out believeing that this class was going to be all boring, but he made a world of a difference in what I stereotyped him/his class to be. wish he could give thsecond part too!

Before taking this class, I honestly thought the subject was quite boring. This class opened my eyes and made me want to be an environmentalist. He really knows his stuff and is an amazing professor.

Excellent Teacher! He uses technology to make his classes easier to understand, powerpoints, movies, links, videos, etc. His lab is virtual using "Second Life Program" super cool!. always available to answer or investigate your questions. He motivated me to learn more about the universe and how everything has effects on Earth, thank you "Profe".

Excelent Profe never studied for a quiz and passed but because his lectures are excellent. The one time I missed his lectures I failed with a 20. Never got bored or sleepy even as I sat at the back.

Profe Camino is the best virtual teacher I have ever had. He knows everything about anything, UTB should hire him as an encyclopedia, so that during finals he can give us the answers, and if he doesnt know it he has this notepad he carries around. even better they should connect the UTB system on his brain so it wont go down.. EVER

Very professional instructor. Syllabus followed extremely close, so always know what to expect. Although I had no real interest in this course at the beginning, Dr. Wilson's teaching style makes it interesting and easy to follow. Best professor that I have had so far.

I lot of information but professor make it fun. We use technology in this class, text, videos, google documents and other fun stuff. Is not an easy ?A? but if you attend and read notes is hard to fail it.

I highly recommend taking Dr. Wilson's classes. For those looking to take easy classes, he provides all the notes necessary for lectures and a review for all exams. For those looking into engaging in conversation during lecture, you get plenty of it. I especially like that he incorporates new methods of teaching rather than just reading off a PP.

Good class this semester

The class was enjoyable and educational at the same time. He was nice enough to provide a review sheet to prepare for the test which came in very handy. I would recommend him for class but be prepared to print out alot of lecture notes and think outside the box.

Great class, had a good time learning things that would otherwise no be of much interest to me.

This was not a typical lab but a new way to learn which was second life. The good part = it allowed us to see different phenomenons. the bad was that there was some problems staying connected. Some improvements would be to have SL updated to minimized bugging out and add more Sims like tornadoes or earthquakes. Definitely worth taking.

I highly recommend this class. The class had me at the edge of my seat the whole time.

Dr. Wilson's lecture facilitated the learning process for me. Especially, the mind mapping technique because it allowed me to better understand the ideas and concepts. Also, the lecture notes helped me a lot. Since Dr. Wilson sent us the lessons in pdf, I was able to print and bring them to class to take notes and use them as a study guide.

He is a really good professor. Lectures are really fun and interesting. Love the interaction with students through facebook and texting. Very innovating and is NOT ABOUT ROCKS! Though very interesting topics covered. He may go a bit fast in lecture but he is comprehensible.

Outstanding instructor, very knowledeage. What I like th emost is he's ability to bring in new technology to the classroom. However, there was a bit of inconsistancy on test # 3, as we did not cover much of what was on the test, as the professor was out during one of the lessons.

I really enjoyed the class. I would've like for the slides to have been in a different format to print (green Freindly) and include my own notes. I only started printing towards the end of the semester but it really helped writing my own notes on them and reviewing them. :)

I liked the videos which were really helpful, and the concrete examples you did in class because they helped me remeber the concepts. Sending txt messages is another thing i liked because some people are shy to ask questions. Overall, your class is really good there is nothing i would change up to know.

Dr. Wilson made this geology class relatable and interesting. His teaching methods make you think & help u to answer and question ideas & concepts that are new to you. His lectures are fun and bases his tests off these lectures. He presents relatable videos & provides chances for extra credit. Overall I enjoyed his class, he is a cool& funny prof.

I really liked how he had a student cell phone where we could text him with questions during class or out of class, this really encourages people who are shy to speak to ask their questions. I liked how he incorportated videos to his lectures that tied strategically well. Another very eye opening assignment was the CO2 and me.

I like the way he uses videos that make sense with the lecture but that students can relate to. I also appreciate that I can ask him questions about the lecture through text messaging. I also appreciate that if he doesn't know the answer to the question you are asking he will find the answer to your question by his next lecture.

Truly made class an interesting learning experience. This is the first lecture class I have ever taken that I never had to prevent myself from falling asleep in. He spoke in an easy enough manner so that all could understand but he never dumbed anything down. His use of Facebook and texting to stay in touch with the class was a pleasant change.

Really neat class! I like his style of teaching! He doesn't use PowerPoint, but instead uses Prezi (which is super cool!). Did a few Skype talks with people from around the world, definitely interesting to hear from someone first hard to reinforce what we were discussing in class. Would recommend Wilson for anyone needing to take World Geography :)

Professor Wilson's World Geography course is extremely fun and interesting. His lecture revolves around Prezi slides instead of PowerPoint, which is far better in my opinion. The most interesting part of his class, are his Skype interviews. It really gave me a better perspective on countries from people who live there.

Awesome!!! Not too excited at first but as the first class started I really enjoyed it. I didn't miss a single time. He made lectures very interesting always wanting to find out more about each country and being able to skype with people from each country we were covering was cool. Dr. Wilson is probably the best teacher I have ever had. His class is fun and entertaining. I never missed a lecture. The use of Prezi was interesting and video chat through skype was awesome. It gave us the oportunity to hear the facts from people who are native to that particular country!!!

Buy a Chegg account. Don't waste your time with recitation. Show up for I-clicker points. Attendance isn't mandatory but the I-clicker points count (just Google them and download the power points they come from). Pretty much what everyone has said on here.
