Good professor. Provides notes online. Doesn't explain a whole lots, basically runs through her notes during class, which isn't too bad because her notes are very thorough.
Runs through notes in class cutting down time required to study outside of class. Hot and plays WoW, what more could you ask for?
Took summer session with her. Clear notes w/ lots of examples. Rarely used text. Attend ALL classes for iClicker marks & example solutions. Will only help on assignments in person. Must have thorough understanding to excel on midterms (Both multiple choice) & final (MC + long answer). Easily one of the best statistics professors. Highly recommended
Jenna was an awesome prof! I had her for summer session and she created clear and concise notes to follow from with very helpful examples. Every time I went to her for help, she worked through the questions with me and made sure I understood them. Jenna truly wanted the whole class to succeed! Take her class if you can!!
she was AMAZING! she explained things very well, and made it better to understand. she was awesome to be able to get a hold of, and would email back right away. Took this course in the spring/summer term. I highly recommend taking stats with her. She wants everyone to do well in the course!
Jenna is very passionate about stats but I found she was not able to relay the course material in a 'user friendly'way for those not naturally mathematically gifted. Her notes are difficult to readunderstand, she uses a lot of advanced mathematical jargon that seems beyond an entry level course. I met he for more help but still had difficulty.
Jenna loves this course, and she really tries to help her students do well. You need to go to every single class and do hundreds of problems to get an A or A+. Some of her exam questions are straight out of the notes/textbook/labs, but others are really tough.
Amazing teacher. Clear and easy to understand. Wants you to pass
Jenna cares about her students more than any other prof I've ever had. She truly wants to help you understand the course and enjoy stats as much as she does. Take it with her, she's always willing to help
Lovely prof with passion and careness. Hard to say attendance doesn't matter cos this course requires iclicker
She genuinely cares about everyone and is truly passionate about statistics (which makes it much more interesting). She provides extremely clear course note so no textbook is needed. If you put in the work, she provides everything you need to receive your A. Excellent professor if you need to take this course!
Loved her stats class, very clear notes, enjoyable lectures. Replies to emails super fast, and is always helpful. I had heard stats was a hard class, but she made it very straight forward. If you show up, pay attention, and spend a couple hours studying you will be fine!
The main problem is she does mistakes on her notes and never changes them they stay the same as she upload. No doubts she has knowledge but doesn't have the knowledge how to keep her notes or her explanantion organized. If you are taking class from her make sure you attend her class, it's important!!
She is amazing! This course was taken as a required course for my program and honestly having her as a prof put all my worries away as she gives very clear lectures! She gives extra problems for you to practice and if you are not good at math, I highly suggest you try it all out! It all pays off after the final!
BEST PROF EVER! Very friendly and cares more about her job than any prof I've ever had. 100% for this one. I HATE math and she was very approachable and helpful which got me through the semester.
Never had such a caring professor. Jenna is very passionate about stats and her students doing well, she goes above and beyond providing notes and practice questions for students. She encourages students to ask questions and to go to her office hours. Highly recommend taking stats with her!
I took stats with her last semester and she is the best prof EVER! She is very passionate about stats and wants her students to do well in the course. Attending class is important as she gives out iClicker questions and that counts for your grade. If you study hard for quizzes, tests and ask questions, you will ace this course! She will help you.
Best prof ever. So insanely passionate about student and stats that this course is a breeze. Quizzes are simple enough if you do practice problems and she gives in class tips that will help you so much.
Amazing proof! Thoroughly explains notes, topics, questions, and goes through great practice problems in class. Notes are clear and easy to follow, by far the best prof i've had in any course!
I love her so much! Just like everyone else said, she really does care about her students. And she's so adorable. She also makes sure that her students get good grades in her course (unlike other professors). Also she's very spicy 3
Jenna is very reliable on posting course material daily and defiantly wants her students to succeed in her course. Heads up: there was no textbook, just notes she wrote for each unit.
One of my favourite profs so far. She explains things clearly and in ways that are always relatable. The fact that she provided all of the notes meant that we didn't have to buy a textbook, which I appreciated very much.
Best stats prof I've had, and I've had a lot lol
Inspiring Teacher. Makes you like probability. I would take it again. The only problem i faced was with uploaded solution. It had so many typos that i wished she didnt uploaded in the first place. For some one doing the problem first time it always seems that the prof answer is correct and that would waste hours on a single problem.
Most caring prof I ever had. Takes time everyday, after class, to write a review of each lesson. So even if you miss a few classes you'll be alright. Has tons of practice ques, and she tries her best to explain in a way so everyone can understand. Often takes videos of herself explaining diff ques and also has step by step learning doc for hard chps
She's an alright prof, there wasn't a textbook, so learning the context was basically based off of her assignments. Doing practice exams was helpful. She does iClicker questions at the beginning and in the middle of class so make sure to review the day before and try not to sleep in class.
Such a great prof. Go to class and you'll understand everything. A little standoffish when I asked questions (contrary to what a lot of people here say), but I rarely had any so it doesn't matter. Everything is SO easy to understand when she explains it. I hope to have her as my stats prof for all stats courses in the future.
I've never had a prof who cares more about a subject than Jenna does. She loves statistics and she shows it during the lectures. iClicker marks are pretty much free marks as long as you understand the material. Mid-term and final exam weren't overly difficult as long as you study. Textbook is provided by Jenna. Overall I would recommend her.
She really cares about her students and wants everyone to love stats as much as she does. She goes through the slides so if you miss a class it's not a huge deal, but she is very good at explaining the concepts to make them understandable. The class isn't that hard as long as you do the practice questions she provides. Overall great prof!
She is gentle and really care of her students. During the class she will give you many example relates to the lecture and it help you so much. Studying hard and doing her suggest homework and you will pass with high grade.
Amazing prof. She uses iClickers every class so go to class. Course is hard but she makes it possible to pass. Didn't get the best grade but I wouldn't have passed with a different prof.
Quite literally the best Professor I've ever had! She makes her own custom notes and homework questions - and there are a lot of homework questions. If you review your notes and homework questions often you will be prepared, as her tests can be quite difficult.
Jenna is one of the best profs I have had up to date. She is incredibly helpful and goes the extra mile to see her students succeed. She has plenty of office hours and and offers an extensive amount of resources. She gave very useful tips and hints for tests and exams so be sure to attend class.
THE best prof I've ever had by far! Took this class before her and failed, took it again with Jenna and passed with a B! her explanations are very clear and her notes are amazing! takes her time with the lessons and explains each chapter more than one way for different learning purposes! awesome awesome prof
I really liked her! Shes very nice and genuinely cares about her students. Told us she loved us on the first day of class so thats always nice :)
Really likes dogs which is cool. I found the course had too much work to be done. There was an online statlab portion, quizzes, labs, textbook readings, practice questions, I just couldn't keep up with all of the other courses I was taking. Course was interesting at times, and Jenna was very enthusiastic to teach it. Like I said, lots of work.
Jenna is a the BEST prof i've had in my 3 years i've been in university of manitoba. With the character limitation of this comment, the most important thing to say is that she really truly cares about her students. Stats 1000 with her is what made me WANT to take stats 2000. At the end of the semester, it felt like she was a new friend to everyone
By far my favourite prof at uofm. Her explanations are so clear and very easy to understand. She is also very funny, if you keep up with your work its an easy A.
Jenna in incredible. She cares about her students and makes every effort for them to get a good grade. Best prof at u of m. This is also the easiest class Ive taken.
She is a good prof and cares about student. iClicker is used for questions in class. Spending a lot of time on homework in the Statslab.
Jenna is the best prof I've had at university, and that's coming from an arts student. She cares a lot about her students, posts as much extra material online to help you study, and even makes her own practice question handouts for each unit for question-styles that might appear on exams. Make sure you go to class, she uses iClicker q's a lot.
hands down best prof, teach with passion, the class might be somewhat boring but she tries very hard to make it interesting, plus she is very responsive to emails and appointments I would have a problem in the practice exam and email her and she will respond in within 3 hours
Great Prof. Goes above and beyond to help her students. Her lectures are very clear and she encourages questions if there is something you don't understand. If your going to take stats take it with her!
I've taken close to 40 courses at U of M, Jenna Tichon is the best prof I've ever had. Started the course fearing stats as it has a "hard" reputation. Jenna gives very clear lectures, provides an endless amount of practice material, step by step videos online and dedicates a lot of time to review sessions. Take stats with Prof Tichon!!
Jenna was a good prof that seemed to care about her students. Her lectures and notes (which were posted online) were clear with useful examples. The tests and exams were similar to the past test/exams that were posted. I would take a course with Jenna again
In general, Jenna is a good Prof and for the most part provides clear explanations. I did however notice MANY MANY mistakes in the course notes and sample problems provided. This can cause a lot of confusion - especially for someone learning Stats with no prior experience. Minus those issues, she's a good prof and a very nice lady.
Goat. Just make sure that you go to her class for iclickers. The course itself gets harder throughout the term, so do constant work then you should get an A.
In her lectures, she explains the points you need to remember as well as going through practice questions step by step on the slides. Her slides as well as extra practice material were available online. She even had review sessions. My class was at 8:30am, she would even arrive earlier to go over more questions step by step to help students out.
Has great examples to which you can relate and understand different concepts easily
She is the best prod Ive ever had. Shes always ahead and has extra practice work for you. She is very clear when it comes to explaining equations. She has reflections at the end of class and you can ask her questions & things youre unclear about. She makes 2.5 hour class go by fast.
Honestly the best prof at uofm. She really cares and wants her students to do well. It's a hard class and you have to put in the work but she thoroughly explains everything so that its easier for you to understand. Class consists of weekly problems, 2 midterms, and a final.
Jenna is a very good teacher. Her after-class reflections allow for you to ask questions, and she does a good job of addressing them when you get them back. It is clear that she loves teaching and loves her students, which makes her a very pleasant person to learn from. I would definitely take with her again.
Great prof! Take her class if you have the option. Goes above and beyond for students, posting practice material, videos of herself doing the problems, and she did review sessions for the final, too. She loves what she does and cares about her students. I would love to take another class with her.
Jenna Tichon was one of my favourite professors at the University of Manitoba! I would highly recommend taking her for STAT 1000. I found her to be clear in explanations and gave helpful slides which I always printed out and used to follow along in class. I would recommend doing all practice questions and practice exams to be successful.
Jenna is the best prof I've ever had. Absolutely wonderful teacher, very understanding and made me really interested in taking even more stats. It's clear from everything she does that she truly wants to help students succeed. Sometimes she goes on tangents explaining things and it's hard to tell if she'll test on it, but that was my only issue.
Jenna Tichon is honestly one of the best professors I have ever had. Her enthusiasm really showed through during her lectures. She runs iClickers in class and has bi-weekly quizzes in the labs. Overall I didn't find the class to be too difficult. However I found the actual content of the course to be a tad dry, despite being a math-lover.
She is one of the professors that made me fell even more in love with the statistic, particularly the applications of it through 'R'. If you follow the notes and do all the practices, it will all be clear and straightforward to understand. She would even discuss with you for any clarifications or concerns, which is why I respect her as a teacher.
Ms Tichon is one of the best profs I've had. She truly is passionate about the course and has all the materials you need to practice for the quizzes and exams. She is very accessible through email and replies very quick if you have questions. The only way you can do bad in this course is if you don't put in the effort.
I can safely say that Jenna is definitely the best prof I've ever had! It's not that this course is easy, it's that she teaches it so well that it seems easy! Her slides are extremely easy to follow and she records her lectures and posts them online. She's highly available, very lenient, and her assessments are very easy. I highly recommend!!!
Dr. Tichon was amazing! Stat1150 was very interesting and so was learning to use R. Dr. Tichon posts unit Q's that were so helpful I actually forgot that I bought the e-textbook. I never ended up using the textbook because her explanations were so thorough and her lectures were recorded on Echo360. She also posts example midterms and example finals
Dr. Tichon is the best professor I have ever had I really like the fact she records her lectures. I can tell that she is really passionate about Stats and because of this the lectures are made interesting and they are never dry. Also, she really cares for her students she provides a ton of content for practice and gives good feedback!
This class seems easy at first, but gets super hard towards the end. She takes a video of every lecture she makes, which is useful, but she has unit tests almost every week, which I find is not needed for the amount of homework and lectures there are.
Despite not majoring in Statistics, her enthusiasm and intuitive explanations made this class one of may favorites.
The best prof I have ever met in U of M. She is always so caring for her students, recording every lecture so you can review the lectures at any time. Every piece of information regarding the course is able to be found in the materials posted on UM learn so that I even forget I have a textbook!
I liked this class , as she made it very nice and easy class. Don't hesitate taking with her.
She was a very good professor. Questions on Exams and Quizzes were easy to prepare for and were quite predictable because of the worksheets she gave us for practice. Didn't have to work too hard. Class participation is needed because of iClicker questions. Available outside of lectures. Highly Recommended.
I took this course in 2019. and so far in my degree program she is my favorite professor. if you follow her guidelines and do the work sheets she provides, an A+ is a given. homework are not heavy, but you should be diligent. she also do lot of question during the class. so if you follow along with her during the class it self it will help a lot,
Jenna is an absolute angel! I am in my third year and would say without hesitation that she is the best professor I have every had. Funny, super-intelligent, and tries her best to keep the lectures interesting. Assignments are fair, easy, and marked within a reasonable amount of time. If you have the option to take any class with Jenna, DO IT.
Best professor I've ever had. Emails are returned quickly, very patient. Exams are scored quickly, cares about students.
Professor Jenna Tichon goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the content of the course and that you are on the right track for your assignments. One of the best professors I have ever had at the U of M.
Jenna is an excellent professor. Her lectures are clear and concise, and there are no curve balls on her exams. Lots of assignments and projects, but they are not difficult, simply a matter of just putting in the time. She wants you to succeed as she gives out plenty of optional bonus. Overall a great class to become familiar with R.
Best prof you can get, she cares a lot for her students and always tries to help you get good grades. She is nice and easy to talk to. Encourages participation but in a good way, not in the anxiety-inducing way lol. Always gives great feedback on assignments and papers.
Dr. Tichon is really a gem. She cares a lot about her students. She is the BEST PROF i ever had! Strongly recommending you to take courses under her guidance...
Dr. Tichon is the most caring professor I have ever had. She genuinely wants each of her students to do so well and is such a kind human being. This was an awesome stats class, there were a few short papers and projects but the grading criteria was super clear! The math portion wasn't tricky, mostly plug-in formulas. Highly recommend!
The most caring professor I have had so far at the U of M. Always did her best to make the class enjoyable and fair for the students.
The best professor ever. She's is very approachable and caring. Lectures are very detailed and straight forward. She gives bonus marks on almost everything. Highly recommend her. The material itself is not that hard. As long as you attend the lectures and do the recommended problems, you'll do great.
Makes every course and lecture an enjoyable experience. I had Professor Tichon for both STAT1150 and STAT2300 (during COVID) and she always makes the course a good time. Very enthusiastic and loves what she does, is always willing to help during office hours or by e-mail in a reasonable time, and overall a real gem of a human being.
This professor is one of the best professors I've had. She cares a lot about students and is such an easy marker. She shows that she loves her job and replies to emails very fast. Her letter grading is very easy and reasonable. Her lectures are very good and she gives good notes. Midterms, quizzes and exam are easy.
Jenna gives her 110% to students. In turn, if you put just 50% you'll be able to score descent grade. Fast email response, explains well. Lectures are heavy in content about R markdown but anyone can pick up this new language with her help.
She's teaching a new course but everything is so organized and well-thought. Make lectures very insightful, lots of examples. I'm glad that I took her class, best course I have in such a long time. I wish every course and every profs could be this enjoyable.
Anyone who has taken a course with Dr. Tichon leaves singing her praises. She is the best professor I've had while at university. Her classes are enjoyable, she is accessible to help, and is respectful of her students.
I can't say enough about how incredible of a professor Dr. Tichon is. I was genuinely sad when this course was finished and can't wait to have her again next year. She was totally reasonable with assignments and was really honest and comforting with us during the possibility of a strike. She really is the best professor I have ever had!
Hands down the best professor Ive ever had
I stopped coming to classes after a while but as long as you read the slides and also work (quite a lot) on your own, it's an easy A ! The course is well scheduled and the prof is simply awesome.
a very kind, caring prof who works hard to make the course as easy as possible for students. she puts in a lot of time to make her videos which are super helpful! i hope i have her again
tons of free bonus marks, too easy, got boring
Dr. Tichon was a pleasure have as a professor! Very positive, seemed happy to be teaching, great at responding to emails. Lots of small things to hand in like an assignment due before class and reflection questions due after class every week. As long as you read unit slides and do provided practice problems you can get a good grade.
Dr. Tichon is one of the best professors I think I will ever have! She is kind, passionate about statistics, always eager to help you and an overall great teacher. If you are planning to take this course, I would strongly recommend that you take it with her. She gives you many opportunities to earn extra points. Overall. Dr. Tichon is amazing!
Jenna was so kind and willing to give extra help to students who need it. She was extremely organized and sent out weekly emails entailing what we would be doing. Drops the lowest two marks on certain assignments, would definitely take another course with her.
I'm horrible at math but managed to ace STAT1150, I just watched the video classes and did the required MyStatLab quizzes. Her explanations are so easy to follow and her passion for the subject actually made me want to take more stat courses.
Dr. Tichon is super passionate about her field, which was super inspirational and made it easy to stay engaged. Everything about the course is outlined and organized super clearly so it's really easy to succeed; plus, there are plenty of bonus marks!
Very understanding, and really accessible.
Her lectures are amazing, she truly keeps you engaged.
Absolutely amazing! She wants you to succeed and will do her best to help you if you just reach out. I can not say enough good things about her. If you are nervous about stats, take courses with her. She is amazing!!
Her lectures are to the point. Very easy exams and quizzes and she is very helpful.
Great prof, passionate about statistics. Be aware that there are a lot of little quizzes and assignments, so make sure you keep yourself organized and get stuff in on time.
This professor is so awesome. She gave extra marks for just uploading formula sheet. She always replies your email within 1 day. She give best idea in your interest. She is always so excited to start her lectures. I never seen her pissed off. She makes this difficult course so easy. I will definitely recommend this professor. You will not regret!!
really awesome prof who helps you in everything
There was a lot of assignments in this course towards the end. Jenna is a fantastic professor and so genuine and caring. I found this course difficult but she is very helpful and responds to emails quickly.
Dr. Tichon is a great, and extremely enthusiastic professor who cares about her student's success and genuinely loves what she teaches. She gives lots of practice for midterms and goes above and beyond to ensure students succeed. If you put in the practice, this class should be an easy A/A+.
Dr. Tichon is the best! This course was easy and doesn't go much more in depth than STAT2000. There were many assessments (projects, paper, midterms, etc) which Tichon provided a lot of feedback on. It is clear that she cares about her students and truly wants to see everyone succeed. If you have the chance to take a class with Dr. Tichon, do it!
Dr. Tichon is the best professor I have had in my university career so far. She is extremely caring, makes herself available to her students, and her lectures are always interesting and go above and beyond what you'd expect from a stats course. She is passionate about her profession both as a statistician and a professor. Love this woman!!
If you can, take a class with Dr. Tichon!!! She absolutely cares about her students and her assignments are very straight forward and give you a very good understanding of the material.
10000/10. Very good communication
She is the best prof I have ever had. She really cares for her students and she gives us feedback before we submit our assignments to improve and get better marks. She will give her 100% in teaching and helping you and make sure you understand the topic.
I had a tough time in the class, but she was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had clearly. Couldn't submit an assignment for personal reasons and she lowered the assignment's weight for me. Responded to emails usually within a couple of hours. Extremely caring and passionate about her job, 100% recommend taking stats with her.
Such a good prof. Very caring, wants students to succeed, and posts tons of videos and practice questions on UM learn. She gives easy bonus questions and you can hand in formula sheets for easy marks on midterm exams. On the midterms you also have a group portion where you work with other students which I thought was very nice.
Dr. Tichon really cares about students, is passionate about stats & fanstasic! However, I failed Stat 1150 and had to retake it, so be weary. You CANNOT pass without putting in work. The first units are deceptively easy but the other ones are a lot harder. She is 100% accessible and will explain as many times as you need so ask questions!
Jenna was a really great lecturer, she really cares about her students and genuinely wants them to do well. Try to take her class!
Dr. Tichon is one of the best professors I have ever experienced. She has a very well-structured class, there are many pieces to the puzzle but she presents them in a manageable way. She is very accessible outside of class and is almost too willing to help students whenever they need her. Would recommend her to anyone that asks!
Literally the best professor ever, can't say a single negative thing about her. The lectures were super interesting, she's incredibly kind and happy to help with any issues you may have and prepares you incredibly well for tests & exams.
Jenna is the best instructor i've ever had oml. She's the only reason I'm considering taking another stats course
Dr. Tichon may be one of the best professors I have had. Her passion for Statistics is contagious and she truly does care for every single one of her students, providing endless feedback and even offering to review students' assignments before they submit them. She also summarizes each class and provides a list of tasks for homework.
very good at teaching and interesting lectures.
THE BEST PROF. I attended all classes but even without her classes, her notes are so clear that you can easily pass. She even gave us extra practice questions because our class was 1 time a week. She is caring and explains super well. Pick her if you can!! If people don't get a good grade, it is just that they were not in lectures or attentive.
Dr. Tichon has been the greatest instructor I have had at the University of Manitoba. Her enthusiasm and passion for Statistics is truly contagious and it makes the course really enjoyable. Beware of two midterms, each having a group portion, though the group grade can't drag your grade down, only up. Highly recommend! Final exam was fair too.
She's a good professor. she explains everything clearly.
She is so caring and one of the best profs i have had .It worth it she is good
Dr. Tichon is the type of prof that makes you feel like you won the lottery. She treats her job like she makes a million dollars a year because of how much she cares for her students and wants everyone to succeed. Passionate and makes the material super easy to understand. She is one of the rare gems of good profs at the u of m. Arguably, the best.
Jenna is so passionate and sweet. She responds very fast to emails and will gladly explain any questions. Her quizzes and tests are pretty fair I would say and she provides many practice questions. Definitely take her course if you can.
very enthusiastic about statistics! has great lectures, emphasizes on understanding concepts, and has very thorough notes. she's very active with her students, lets them know her office hours as well as weekly objectives/due dates. she provides many resources and practice questions which has really helped in a computing-heavy course.
Jennna "The Goat" Tichon does an amazing job of teaching STAT 1150, anyone who I talk to who has taken one of her classes loves her. She is very enthusiastic about statistics and is good at making a traditionally boring subject active and engaging. Would 100% recommend taking one (or more) of her courses!
Good professor!
Gives students loads and loads of practice material to use for midterm/final, as long as you do what is asked it is very easy to get a good grade. Jenna is very enthusiastic and always a pleasure to take her class.
This is my first stat course and I genuinely enjoy Professor Tichon's lecture. She was enthusiastic and passionate when she taught. She provided many practice questions, sample exams, and lecture videos on the portal. Exams are similar to sample exams as long as you do all the practice you will be good. Highly recommend!
Very organized and clear communicator. Take this course if you need a stats course
I loved my stats class with her. She loves stats and it shows. Her office hours are so helpful and she is very easy to understand. She is a great prof and lectures are made simple. Would totally take another stats class because of her!
One of the best profs you will find at U of M
Jenna is a very fair grader and most assignments and tests are very straightforward with lots of examples to study with.
If you get this prof for any of the stat courses like me for STAT3000/4000, you're going to have a great semester. She is very enthusiastic about her students, lectures are great, interactive, and easy to understand. Fair assignments, projects, and exams. The course level doesn't matter its an easy A/A+, if you follow what she says.
Makes statistics somewhat entertaining. Cares about students, sends a weekly email to keep everyone on track, and offers ample office hours. Provides many practice questions before exams. Additionally exams are straightforward and fair. Great teacher!
When you attend Tichon's lecture, you can tell from the start that she genuinly loves her job and teaching statistics. Tichon teaches really well and thoroughly explains every topic. She gives you practice exams, and if you do them, you are guaranteed to pass without a doubt. Would take her for every statistcis class if I could.
Tichon is an enthusiastic stats prof who makes the subject engaging. Her thorough lectures, practice materials, and helpful office hours have been invaluable. unstuckstudy is a great study aid too.
The course is easy and she is so nice accommodating for the exam canceled due to uni closure even tho she didnt have to.
Dr. Tichon is an amazing lecturer who genuinely cares about her students doing well. If you go to lecture and actually pay attention to what she says, you will have a great time in this class. She is fantastic!
This is my third course with Jenna and she's a really great prof, best in the department in my opinion. She provides previous exams which are really great tools to study, and the assignments and exams are super fair and very similar to practice problems that she provides.
She really knows how to make students energetic, and she's so nice.
Real talk- I love Dr.Tichon. I really appreciate how much she cares about the class, the course, and just statistics itself. I love how genuinely excited to teach she is- it's refreshing after having profs in the past who treat teaching like an obstacle in the way of their research. I also appreciate how she breaks down concepts and material 100%.
