If you are taking english A Ms. Annick is definitely the teacher to take! She is super sweet and is very understanding! She goes step by step on everything so it's easy and not confusing. Passed her class with the highest grade and if your grade is very high you don't have to take the final exam.

She was a really good teacher. I feel like now I am fully prepared for English 1a. What really helped that she taught me is about the quotation sandwiches and the outlines that we did in class really helped me. At the end of the semester if you have an A in the course, you will not have to take the final. Really nice teacher and I recommend her.

Professor Annick is an amazing teacher. I took her for Fall semester, and i can honestly say that she will prepare you for English 1A. I just got my paper back from English 1A and got a B. The rest of the people saying " Don't take the class" might be the people who probably did not attend class every day. She is crystal clear, and willing to help!

She is an amazing teacher! She is very clear to what she wants, and if you do not follow it she will tell you. She is willing to help, and is willing to dissect your paper with you. If you have an A by the end of the semester she will tell you to not come for the final, which is a in class essay. Highly recommend her!!

She is a wonderful teacher. She's incredibly nice and very helpful. She always gave me great feedback and helped me make my essays stronger. There's 5 essays, 1 Midterm, and 1 Final Exam. In this class there are no surprises. She goes by the syllabus. She's funny and very energetic. Love her!

Jennifer Annick is very a helpful, inspiring, and creative teacher. The assignments are very simple and test are never a surprise. I would highly recommend taking this teacher for English A and B. Stay focus and you will pass.

I took her in the fall of 2012 and I have to admit that I was worried about taking her class mainly because I was not sure how my writing an essay skills were since I did not place real high, but Annick made the class real easy, she was available during office hours and she really cares about her students success, overall she is a good profofessor

Sweetest teacher ever! You can tell she really cares about her students and wants them to do well. Although you will have around 4 papers that are back to back, she gives you time to complete them. If you have an A in the class you don't have to take the essay portion of the final!

Ms. Annick is absolutely lovely! She is very kind and funny, she really cares about her students. A lot is covered in every class, and if you skip one you will fall behind. Make sure you read the book so you understand whats happening in the class!

Theres always something due in that class And dont dare skip class youll regret it. I Had to stay overnight in the hospital and I had emailed her and she told me that it would be okay and that it wont effect my grade And the next class I show up and she tells me that I wont be getting any credit for my paper Dropped by grade from an B to a D

Most sophisticated person ive ever met, she really wants every one of her students to pass. However, you MUST read 1 book, &quot;The Emotional Life of Your Brain&quot; also she published her own book with a bunch of texts she put together, always stay on top of your work that she assigns. You really need to put effort into this class or you will not pass.

Professor Annick is one of the best English professors! Super helpful and easy to talk to. Her packets and outlines are extremely useful and her essays (both in-class and take home) are straight forward!

She is absolutely amazing! She gives amazing feedback and is always ready to help you! Her assignments will never feel like a chore. I may be biased, but I was always a week ahead of the reading assignments because I truly loved the content. I definitely recommend her as a professor.

Professor Annick is one of the best professor I've had this year. She is very understanding. She provides really good and specific feed back on assignments. That being said, she does give out a lot of homework but the assignments are quite easy.

I absolutely loved taking Professor Annick's English 1C class this year. She did a wonderful job of connecting the real world to class material, and gave detailed feedback on nearly every assignment we completed. Honestly after reading all the negative comments I can say from experience she was great. I loved her class. She is tough grader but gives excellent feedback. She does everything step by step. Yes you have to work for it but she is great. She is very helpful, and I definitely recommend her.

I took her class during fall 2020 and it went exceptionally well! On Canvas, she would post a video that gave a brief rundown of what the assignments for the week would be, plus during office hours she took her time evaluating papers and giving feedback. There are 2 essays and a research paper, easy quizzes, and you do have to read the books.

This professor was overall amazing and clear with her instructions and module. I wish I could have taken her class again in English1C. She provides you with everything. Extra credit, clear feedback, and optional zoom meetings. She is the exact professor you will want to have as she truly cares for her students. Easy A if you at least try, I promise

She provides a weekly video in each module where she gives a breakdown of what we will work on throughout the week. She is very clear in what she expects in each assignment and gives helpful feedback in each assignment. She assigns about 4 essays throughout the semester as well as a research paper. Overall, she really cares about her students.

A positive about this class is the big research paper is not due on finals week which puts you in a position to write a better paper. Her tough grading of first drafts was a learning curve but once I knew the reasoning I appreciated it. One thing I can definitely say is always ask for help. She will help you if you ask. Very helpful and supportive

She's a great and very nice professor with her class being built around 4 papers, two based on class material at home, one in class, and one based on the in-class text. If you have a strong background in English you may do well as she gives great feedback on your papers but if you don't it may be much harder to get a higher grade.

Took Fall '22. GREAT professor, definitely helped improve my writing. Very nice and easy to talk to, gives clear instructions, she wants you to do well. There IS a good amount of reading you have to do on your own time. You write 3 essays throughout the semester, so plenty of time to ask for feedback. If you stay up to date it's an easy A.

Professor Annick is very caring! She encourages you to push forward and sends you a check in email when you miss a couple of assignments which is very sweet. Her modules do include a lot of writing and reading, you do have to purchase/rent a book for her final writing assignment. She's overall a great caring professor! 10/10 would take her again!

Professor Annick is a great teacher; her lessons were challenging but she gave the right materials to help you succeed. She's very thorough and makes it clear on what is needed for each assignment. I enjoyed her class and hopes to be able to get in her English 1c class in fall semester.

I enjoyed my time taking her class, although there were some things I didn't quite understand at the beginning, she has always made it completely clear for me afterwards. She made it relatively easy for us to form our papers with the steps she provided. Just make sure always to read the steps she gives, because that's what I sometimes forget.

Professor Jennifer Annick - I took her English class online for the summer semester. It moves quickly but if you stay on top of the classwork and read the feedback she provides - you will do great! She answers questions asap and always ends the week's course load with a positive, encouraging message. I'd definitely recommend.

I love professor Annick, she is one of the most sweetest professor I have ever met she helps how to do a MLA format, and how to work cite the sources that I would in my assignment. If you are having struggles with an assignment she responds to the comment that you will leave her and she will give a book assignment which it helps recommend taking it

She was definitely intimidating at first but was very reasonable with her grading and her policies.

Good experience with English 1A with Ms. Annick. She cared for her students which is not very common. I liked her feedback. She helped me improve my writing skills. Would take her class again.

She does have four papers to do, but she makes them really easy to complete by using her outlines! She is also very helpful with any questions you have and there is barely any homework, def recommend!
