She teaches using methods that I have never recognized. They are very helpful and easy to understand. The problems that may have been incomprehensible in the past will be easier to grasp in her class. I highly recommend her. Good luck.

You don't need to use the book if you don't want to and she uses webassign which even though you have to pay for, it is super useful and worth it. She doesn't make you get it or anything though. Also she lets you redo whatever problems you got wrong on a test for half points back.

Prof. Applebee is great! I wish I had the opportunity to take her during a regular semester as opposed to summer session. The class was intense, but Prof. Applebee did her best to make concepts understandable by extending her help virtually 24/7. I definitely recommend her, just dont waste her time by not paying attention/showing effort.

Professor Applebee is a great teacher. She makes sure you have a clear understanding of what you are learning and is there to help you. As long as you pay attention, take notes, and have good attendance you'll pass. She gives you homework on ALEKS only, and gives you enough time to finish assignments. I was a bit intimated with the idea of taking math even though it was math 010, since I had a 6 year gap from H.S. Applebee is an Excellent professor, she really cares for her students. At first I thought the online class was going to be horrible, but after the second week, I was able to cath on and Prof. Applebee helped me with ALL my questions. I got a 93% after finals. You do have to study and teach yourself but its not that bad

my only problem was that I took math 013 in 2008, I used to think that I'd fail the class, but she kept motivating me to do my best! she stayed to teach the materials that I didn't understand in class! I took her for a four week summer course. If you're not great a math, and you're looking to take MAT014 just to get it outta the way, beware those four weeks are going to be intense, especially in middle two weeks. Professor Applebee is probably the best professor to take for any math course. I took this online and it is not much work. You have lectures to read from with a short quiz on each lesson, you can do the quiz as many times as you want to get a 100. Tests are graded the same as homework. She does optional zoom calls if you need help w/ anything.

I am normally bad at math but since the time I took Professor Applebee, my grade in her class hasn't gone below an A-! She is caring, friendly and will work with you as long as you put in the work. The c consists of lectures that have small quizzes, HW, test and final/project. A tip on doing well: keep doing the quizzes until you get a 100 on them.

Yes she gives work like readings homeworks and discussions even her tests are tad but different than reviews and that is because she wants you to succeed by ensuring that you do everything she puts out. Professor Applebee is the best for Stats. I took her for MAT 123 also! She gives only 3 tests and a final which is very easy if you do the review. And there's homework and a discussion board every week. But its not a lot. She's very helpful and replies to emails quickly. I would definitely recommend her!!! DON'T THINK, JUST TAKE HER.

She is one of the best professors at Middlesex, no doubt about it. The grading is clear and you can redo the lecture quizzes as many times as you want. The best professor! She is open about her grading, lectures explain everything that you need to know and gives resources (textbook & calculator) that are free. The tests are open notes and as long as you attend class, take notes and ask questions you will pass. Very organized and great with technology, made the class very seamless and easy.

Best professor for Statistics and any math! I love math, but she breaks it down really easily for students who don't understand it, is open to suggestions if there is a better way to explain it too. I would say to participate as much as possible because she helps you if you can't get it. Records her zoom sessions so if you miss a class your ok.

Great teacher and makes learning math online without zoom meetings easy to follow and understand. She is very accessible via email and will even schedule to meet over zoom if you want.

Homework is online and there are data analysis assignments you have to complete, which look scary at first, but can definitely be done with her step-by-step written instructions and videos. Late passes can also be redeemed to extend your homework's due date which was great. Take her!

She actually puts in effort into her online class to make sure you understand the material. There many videos and step by step tutorials on how to do things, it's just a lot to read and go over so it might be overwhleming if you have other classes. There are i think 5-7 bigger projects that impact your grade A LOT so focus on those.
