She's a good teacher, although you will be into the first 20 minutes & still haven't opened your book, because she gets off the subject easily. Mostly about pollution or cancer or something like that. But other than that, she's a great teacher.

I think that Mrs.Brahier is a very clear instructor. She tries to help EVERYONE in class. I would take her again.

I LOVE this teacher! She's awesome and I was honestly surprised she didn't receive better ratings. You have to do the work and come to class, but she will help you if you have problems. As a student you have to take responsibility if you don't understand something.Would take her again in a minute!

I had Mrs. Brahier last year for statistics. It was not the first time I took the class and I can tell she was Extremely better than my last teacher. She used lots of real life examples and made the class very interesting. She definitely knows her stuff and shares it with anyone who wants to learn.

She's awesome! I took this class in high school and was told it was going to be a lot harder in college, but its a lot easier in college. So far she is a really good teacher and Im making good grades. And I love our random class dicussions that dont really have anything to do with math. Shes crazy, and awesome all at the same time!

She is awesome! For the FIRST time ever I understand math and makes me like it. She teaches step by step and will really work with a student to make sure the understand and have a fighting chance to pass. If you show, take notes and do the homework (which isn't to much) you'll understand and enjoy her! I'd take her again!

This lady is a great teacher. She will help you at any opportunity, and explains what she is doing very well, and shows you applications for what she is teaching. Sometimes though, she will go off on a tangent, and talk about random things. I enjoyed these, but you may not. Good teacher, def. would take again.

This is a great instructor. It has been many, many years since I took any tpye of Math. I got a B+ in the class but be prepared to work especially if you are not great in Math but it does pay off. She is willing to help you in any way. Just ask!

Mrs. Brahier is a very talented instructor. I have been out of school for >20 yrs and both of the classes I took with her helped me greatly and i got an "A" both times. She teaches Coll Prep Alg, Interm Alg, Coll Alg and Statictics. I am enrolled in the Coll Alg class this term and will definetly enroll in Statictics after that.

Firstly it is impossible for anyone to know that everyone understands unless you put people on the spot with specific questions, and to have more home work. This was an excellent class. I was worried sick about taking it in the summer but Brahier was as helpful as she could be. I actually looked forward to going. It was very interesting. Strongly recommend her--by the way, the B I got was definetely earned.

Mrs. Brahier was a great teacher.But as with all teachers, they have their pros & cons. She was very helpful and approachable, which was great. But due to the length of our class (3 times a week, 2 hours), she would get side-tracked & spend 30 min to an hour talking about recycling. Other than that, I liked her. Would I take her again? Prob not.

Knowledgable, but very scatter-brained. She does seem to go off track every now and then, which sometimes interferes with learning. She's cool, but don't get on her bad side! She will rip you (and even the entire class) a new one....she almost made me wanna cry one day. I wouldn't take her again personally but would recommend her for sensitive folk

Everyone told me how hard stats was before I took this class, but taking it with her was a BREEZE. After she spent over half of every class telling stories about real world statistics, she would go over hw and the next section so that anyone could understand it. I am now considering minoring in stats thanks to her. Amazing teacher.

Great! I made an A in statistics with her and I am horrible at math. I actually enjoyed statistics with her because she actually teaches the material in ways related to stuff you already know. She only gives three test and a final, but she teaches you everything you need to know. If I had to take anymore more math classes I would take her again! :)

Brahier is an excellent teacher. She pays attention to the students and just when your brain has had as much math as it can handle, she breaks into a story to get you back--then she starts the math again. She made me want to come to class and I got a B+ and I understand math now. Would take her again.

I took her course for intermediate algebra and completely loved it! I always looked forward to going to class because she makes it so fun. I also spent a lot of time in her office and was always welcomed, she really knows her stuff and is always open to help if you do not understand. I miss her class and recommend it to all!

She's a great instructor. If you do your homework, you will do well. There are no surprises on the her test. Very good about answering question in class. I would take her again. Her only real flaw is she's a liberal. Maybe one day she'll understand politics as well as math.

I took her for both Pre-cal and Cal-1 and can say she is the best teacher I've ever had. She uses the white board and works out problems infant of you, if you have a basic understand of math and want to learn you will make an A. She grades off class attendance, take home test, three in class test and a final. Gives great lectures and good advice.

Dr. Brahier was the best math professor I've ever had. She tediously explained every step for each function. She doesn't require that you do the homework; however, do so at your own peril. Her tests are fair, and each question is similar to those you'll find in your HOMEWORK. :P To think...I could have gotten an A if I had done all my HW. Tsk, tsk.

I took the accelerated summer classes, which gave me a little anxiety but as long as I showed up and did my homework ( which was not graded) I made an easy A. Homework is a necessity if you want to really understand any concepts in mathematics, so do yourself a favor and do it! Her tests are almost exact questions from homework.

Ended up being one of my favorite teachers, despite me disliking math. She was super funny and made me look forward to class. If you have a question, don't hesitate to ask, but you MUST pay attention in class and do ALL of the homework she assigns! It's not graded, but trust me, it'll help with your test scores. Learned that the hard way.

She loves to laugh and have conversations with the class. She gives credit for just trying to do a problem on a test. If you do all of your homework and turn it in before a test, she will give you a practice test and go over it with you as much as you need. she will meet with you outside of office hours if need be.

BEST PROFFESSOR AT PSC HANDS DOWN!! I dont understand math at all but she made me understand the very best she could. You will have homework every single day & although it isnt graded, it really helps with the tests. If you never miss a class you get 5 points added to your final grade & she drops your lowest test grade for final grade.

You need to show up to class and do your homework. HW is not graded (at least it wasn't for my class) but I would NOT have received an A without doing her HW. Your grade is ONLY test grades, so study and you will do well. I have NEVER gotten an A in math before Ms. Brahier, I can't recommend her enough. She was amazing.

I hate statistics! I had previously taken stats and dropped it, so coming into this class I was skeptical. Mrs. Brahier is by far one of the best teachers at PSC. Professor Brahier is my favorite teacher at PSC. While I was not good at math and really had a hard time grasping college algebra she was always available for office hours. I spent several hours over the semester getting extra help from her and it paid off with an A. I also had her for Intermediate Algebra as well. I would absolutely take her again

Ms. Brahier jokes around sometimes, but is straight forward with lectures. She gives you all of the information needed and assigns homework. She outlines what will be on the test the class before and allows her students to use a notecard for the test, which is amazing. I highly suggest taking her.

She assigns a lot of hw but does not check/collect it, it's for your benefit to do it though. She's very fast when she teaches but whatever I miss in class, I go to the math lab to review. Brahier is a great teacher. Any students thinking she is vague on grading or doesn't stay on topic are obviously not ready for college. The grading policy is clearly stated on the syllabus and the conversations at the beginning of class are ABOUT STATISTICS in the world. I would definiteley take her again!

Spends the first 15-20 min of class sharing about real-world stats & current events. Made things make way better sense than the book, which is only needed for HW, so save your cash & use the one in the math lab (but bring copies of charts to class). HW is not checked, but skip it & you won't pass. Doesn't use canvas and wants phones out of sight!

I took her for both College Algebra and Elementary Statistics. One of the best teachers I know. She only grades test unless your class fails the first one, which she starts assigning homework which you will need to do if you fail the test. She gives you everything you need to know the day before the test. ASK QUESTIONS. She will answer all of them.

By far one of the best math teachers I've ever had! Math can be confusing, but she makes it make sense. I highly recommend her for anyone who struggles with math. There is a good bit of homework, but you have plenty of time and unlimited attempts. She only gives 4 tests including the final and you have multiple attempts. She's great.

Good teacher! Be prepared to read quite a bit and write a lot of notes, but that's to be expected in Statistics. The homework is relatively easy, with typically 8 to 10 questions. A bit picky about rules for exams, but overall a great teacher. Also, she grades assignments fast. The textbook is a must!

I really enjoyed this class. She explains the why behind the formulas/problems which makes understanding the concepts much easier. She does go off on tangents but it always relates back somehow and usually involves real world application of statistics.She gives partial credit on in class tests and gives in depth test reviews.

Textbook wasn't necessary, but she was using it for lectures. She's very fun and I really enjoyed her class because she always had a daily statistic she talked about. She can get off-topic at times, but it all somehow still relates to stats. Tests are pretty easy and we were allowed to have some notes, but they're not all too necessary.

It's impressive how Mrs. Brahier teaches, even though the calc 1 course was test heavy all of the information she taught came together beautifully by the end of class(and the semester especially)! She's very helpful and lenient when it comes to teaching math, and along with that she packs some humor! I definitely recommend her.

I dont like that tests were weighted 60% of the grade. Makes it hard to recover if you mess up. But I really like how she teaches. Had her for a 9:30 and it was laidback, I never hated going to class. Fast-paced and funny. Felt like I was learning something. Sorta offers extra credit; final grade can replace lowest test grade so thats nice :)

I took this class as a mini term and it wasn't too terribly hard. The homework can be pretty time consuming and although it may have 9 questions, they will have multiple parts. She does allow you to take the test twice however so that does help. Exams are not recorded, but your screen is on a lockdown browser. Overall, a good teacher for stats.

She explains the topics very clearly, although there is a lot of homework necessary to understand the exams. There are four exams and a cumulative final.

Hands-down the best math teacher I've had. She does very well explaining the concepts and how to do the math, as well as showing multiple ways to do it. She engages with the students. There are times she will go on a few minutes of a tangent about politics or something unrelated to math, though that does give a quick mental break.
