Her quizes and exams are worth alot of points and have few questions so be careful, she's very technical. Use the MATH lab it helps. Can you say, Awesome?! Ms. Coopman is an excellent teacher. She is genuinely interested in her students learning the material. She's really nice and gives enough homework for you to understand the concepts, but not too much. I highly recommend her for any math class.

She has helped me feel so much more confedent with my math skills. Book: used only for HW. Homework is not collected until the day of the test, and only one or two assignments are collected, at random. She passes out a lot of fill in the blank notes; so, notes don't seem to be that much. Class is almost always let out 1 or 1/2 hour early

Coopman is a very nice, down to earth, young, and funny professor. She makes math interesting and understandable. Only collects 1-2 homework assignments at every exam. Ms. Coopman is awesome! She has a great style of teaching that I wish every college professor would follow. Her HW assignments are a great practice to the quizzes and exams and she drops your lowest quiz too. Shes also very helpful if you dont get the material (which is rare). I would def. take her again if I had to take another math class!

I took Ms. Coopman for both Math 115 and 130, and let me just tell you, she is the definition of AWESOMENESS! She was a big part of my college years, so I?m now really going to miss having her as a teacher. She?s definitely my favorite teacher ever! Do all the homework, show up to class and do any kind of extra credit. You will pass with a B for sure!

Study the guides, do the homework, and attend her lectures. She won't fail in teaching her subject to you. Looking back after six years of continuing education and I still am amazed at how good of a teacher Ms. Coopman is and I've had many to compare her to.

Sit in the front do not hesitate to ask questions and see her when you have questions if you don?t speak up she wont know you need help. She is fun and relatable and is willing to help one on one I am not a math person so there you have it!

For Math 115 she was the best. Nice, office hours, loans calculators out, etc. For Math 130 I struggled a lot--she talked fast, wrote fast, and went over everything so quick I could barely write everything down let alone follow. By the time I withdrew I swear it looked like she was erasing variables from the board at her own discretion...

Ms. Coopman is the absolute best teacher that I've ever had. She was very helpful, taught the material exceptionally well, and prepared us for each and every test. This is not an easy class but if you put serious effort into this class, Ms. Coopman will help you succeed.

I was intimidated by the thought of taking Calculus but Jennifer Coopman was VERY helpful, clear, and understanding. She always works through any homework problems you have and takes the time to make sure you understand. She's a fair grader and a very sweet woman. I highly recommend her :]]

This is one of the best Math Instructors at Cypress College hands down! She keeps the lectures simple, and are easy to understand for the most part. Coopman is very considerate and friendly to every student. My Grade for the class was up on Webstar the day after I took the final. A safe bet in you need this class for CSU-GE ;)

Complete all your homework assignments and you will do fine. Homework completion allows for partial credit on tests. Review or study guides are given before tests on review day. Teaches very clearly. Easy to understand.

She is a good teacher, but you have to attend class because she teaches alot of material, if you miss class you will fall behind fast. She explains everything well, and tries making it easy. Ms. Coopman was the best teacher I had at Cypress. As long as you have a decent knowledge of Alg 2, you should be fine in this class. I think the pace is good enough as long as you're doing your homework on a regular basis. Just take notes in class and do the review before the test. I would recommend this class to anyone. Easy A if you do the work.

Typical math class... its hard if you don't pay attention, miss class and don't do the homework. Coopman herself is SUPER sweet, always willing to help and always cheerful. Do ALL of the homework and study guides, go to her office hours if you have questions and you'll get and A, I did!

This is not a class you will do well on by only reading the book, you actually have to attend EVERY class or else you won't understand the material. There's a lot of homework but doing it actually helps you get ready for quizzes tests since the questions are almost identical as the problems in the book. Few xtra credit pts. Tough final.

Honestly, all you have to do is show up because it is a math class. If you ever need help she'll be there to answer any questions. She makes Math 115 easy to understand if you pay attention and lets you ask questions if you need to. She's super sweet. Study the handoutsquizes, pay attention, DO THE HOMEWORK!! and without a doubt you should pass.

Tough class, she's very professional and assigns a lot of homework. Although i hated the homework part it forces you to actually understand the material a lot better and the quizzes and exams get easier. Dont expect to get a good grade if you skip class a lot. awesome professor!

The final was nothing like the 4 previous tests. Just be prepared for that. Takes points off for not putting in the right notation. Really hard grader.

She is nice but can be smug with her nice-ness when needed. She is super tough which is unexpected. Do not think this is an easy grade. Her grading is very critical. Every step she does on the board has to be shown on tests or you'll lose points.. annoying but helped me later on. She responds quickly to emails. She is good about office hours, too.

She breaks down a very difficult subject and makes it easier to learn. Doing the HW is a must. She take academics VERY seriously and stresses that you must earn your grade. I took math 130 after not having a math class in 5 years and passed.

Took this class last emester and it was a nightmare due to the professor and how she taught. However, Professor Coopman makes this class easy to understand with the way she breaks the material down. She helps each student individually and as a class with much time and care. Homework is a must but is easy to do if you follow her class notes.

Great professor. Pretty clear lectures, but a very difficult class. USE THE TUTOR HALL in the LRC. I was there twice a week to keep up with the class. That is the only way I passed! Her Hybrid 115 Class is definitely not easy, but if you're motivated to stay on task ( or even get ahead) it's worth it. DON'T TAKE ANY OTHER PROFESSOR FOR MATH!

So get this--I hate math with a passion. It wasn't until Professor Coopman that I realized math wasn't that bad! . She's clear with lectures and makes you understand the material. However, do homework. Do quizzes. Rinse and repeat. Do them, take the tests, you pass. If you can afford to get As on every test, you can afford to fail the Final.

Im currently talking Coopman for Math115 and let me just say that she cares so much for her students. She holds virtual tutoring through zoom every week, so if you have a question about anything shes there! Her class does have much work to do like quizzes, video notes, and hw to do every week, but trust me when I tell you its so worth it! :)))

This professor was actually one of the best Math professors Ive had. I really like her way of teaching and it helped me understand a lot. Unfortunately, I dropped the class because of a low grade. I blame myself for that, she was a really great professor, Im trying to retake her class next semester. I just need to be more focused

Prof. Coopman is the only math teacher I actually learned from. A lot of ppl says she talks slow, but you can speed her up on YT. She does give a lot of hw but if you time it out right, youll be fine. (She gives abt two weeks for hw/ quizzes). She gives amazing feedback on the hw/ quizzes! Super sweet, would definitely recommend & I hate math.

It's a math class and tbh I'm not a fan of math lol its not for me. But this professor was really good, the way she made her lectures slowed down really helped. Although I didn't understand much but that's bc I'm not a math person lol. Take this class w this professor if you're not a math related major.

Professor Coopman is an amazing professor, I was initially skeptical about taking this class because it was online, however, her lecture videos were very clear and I could rewind and rewatch topics I felt unsure of. I never thought I could get a hundred on a math exam but thanks to Professor Coopman's course and help, I aced more than 2.
