Really good professor. She is definitely NOT strict. In my opinion, do her test reviews and study pass.

I loved this class. At first I was like, "OH LORD, a 4 hour class ! This is going to be a pain." But it was the opposite of what I expected. She's a great teacher. She breaks things down, so the class can understand. It is important that you stay updated on the news and what is going on in the world. Test reviews are awesome!

She details the work needed. Keep up with the current events in the world and she gives extra credit. The book is needed and used, helps to have it on the studying for the test. She gives reviews, and if you study you'll do good. The first time I failed, now I took her and passed. Best professor at HCC! She actually cares about the students.

Offers extra points, if you don't do them you're dumb. The book and online book is super helpful! She really cares about us and if we do good--- also does transfer letters if you ask! Take her!

I'm currently taking Danielle for GOVT2305 and I LOVE her class!!! She makes the class interesting by bringing in awesome guest speakers and having class discussions. She gives a lot of extra credit assignments, so you would have to try very hard to fail! If you do the work and participate in class you are guaranteed to pass!!

Government is not my fav class. She made it FUN -- yes I said FUN. I wish I had another class in govt to take her again! It is a bit of work but you learn so much and she really cares about you and your doing well in school. She even helped tutor me --- take her!

She will call you out. Come in late or text in class. She took my phone one class. Otherwise she is good--- young and cool --- pretty sure I got the grade I did Bc I was late everyday. So you get the grade you earn fair prof at HCC I would take again. She is super smart too, but doesn't talk down to you.

For a required course it's actually awesome! she has a passion for this job I haven't seen yet at HCC. Danielle is only strict about a few things: texting in class and showing up late. The discussions in class are great, be sure to join in even if you're shy. She loves it. Use the mind tap program with the book and you'll be good!

I took Ms. Bachan for the mini session. By far the most productive class ever. She's very reasonable and understanding. She gives a bunch of extra credit and if you take notes in class, you'll definitely get an A in the class. I would take this class again and recommend the mini session for sure. This was my second time taking her for government, I loved her class--- hilarious and good stories that related to the class. She never cancels class, and uses lots of technology. We did a election in class, while Hillary didn't win in real life she did in our class. She even posted videos on election night. Fun part was she told who she voted for after and caught us off guard. She also calmed our fears of the new pres. Most teachers don't care enough to do that. We don't agree politically but she still rocks! Take her!

Jennifer Danielle Bachan is the head of Houston community college's government department. This was the best online class I have ever taken! There is a subtle amount of work that easily corresponds with the plethora of informative links, articles, and videos (pretty interesting stuff!) provided. The deadlines are designed in such a way that you can basically go at your own pace. She doesn't accept late work but gives you plenty of time.

Took GOVT 2306 online with her in the summer, super easy class. 3 exams (including the final), 4 quizzes and 2 short and easy essays. There were also 3 current event discussion articles but she's an easy grader. The assignments are spread apart and you have plenty of time to do them so she doesn't accept late grades.

Professor Bachan is excellent; her class structure is a bit difficult to understand but not hard. I liked the assignments, the quizzes were simple, and the articles reviews were terrific. Wonderful teacher, did great for an online Goverment class. Posted links to articles based on the topic for that unit and most of the time very interesting videos that either further explained a topic or showed how what we were learning was being used in real life instead of using a textbook. I took this an an online course for 8 weeks and was not stressed at all by the course load or due dates. Only issue I had was that she took a while to grade back the papers/discussions but its excusable because of the nasty winter storm we had and the professor was also affected. She was super nice and there wasn't any heavy work. It was all pretty manageble and her class was interesting and interactive so it was an amazing class. I would take her again and reccomend anyone who needs a government class to take her!

Govt with Professor Bachan was great. The load is not heavy and it is very manageable. Definitely learned good material. She provides feedback to your assignments and is always available via email. I took the online anytime class with worked with my work/life.

10/10 I would retake her. Stay on top of your work and all is clear. Instructions were straightforward and the quizzes were easy.

I took her over winter break and she is amazing. She offers tons of resources, her assignments make you actually want to participate. She is an extremely kind human being and professor and very understanding. She communicates clearly and is very accessible. The assignments are fairly easy and her instructions are clear on exactly what she wants.

Super easy class, work load was very minimal took her for the winter mini. I will suggest everyone to take this class. Very caring professor really liked taking this class. If I need it too I would take her again .

Great professor, comprehensive online class. Her courseload was about 5 online discussions, 12 quizzes, 3 exams, and 3 reflective writings total. Overall, her class was pretty straightforward to understand and very engaging. World recommend to other students!

Prof Bachan is very is clear and concise. Every assignment was met with a good understanding of the material, and if a question needed to be answered the prof welcomed questioning through email. A couple discussions, some tests, and two reflective writings! If you need GOVT cred, then I would waste no time in selecting her as your next prof.

Professor Bachan is an amazing Professor. She has all the assignments open when the course starts, and all the instructions are pretty straightforward. Her assignments are pretty easy and you get a 100 on every discussion as long as you just follow the instructions. I would highly recommend taking her.

I liked the fact that he course was open from the start day to the end, meaning that one could access all your assignments-tests and papers way ahead of time. Depending on your speed you could get all the work done in the shortes time possible. Her grading style was straight forward with clear expectations, she is not grader. Please take her.

Professor Bachan's class was fairly easy and informative. took online anytime 8 week course and it was quite easy and slow paced for a 8 week course. 2 essays , 5quizzes 3 discussions and 3 exams . Even tho it seems like lots of work you pretty much have the full 8 weeks to complete the quizzes & exams. At the end of the class she offers an opportunity for extra credit and late work.Definitely recommend

I loved this class. It was the easiest class for me. I will definitely recommend her and take her again if I need to. The professor was awesome. She answers the eamils in the timely manner. Also, she provides extra credit.

As someone who hates anything to do with government/history and struggles to pay attention, I can say without a doubt this professor can teach! She makes class super interesting and leaves you wanting to learn more. Her assignments are straight forward and for the most part pretty easy. She's lenient on due dates. Your final will be a presentation!

Very easy. She will give 3 paper, I am all over 95/100. There are a lot of online homeworks, but she put due date in the final of semester. Hybrid, no need to come to class.

The class was a online anytime, so attendance wasn't mandatory. Class Syllabus was straight forward, Professor will give updates here and there. The assignments were really easy.2 reflective writing essays & a couple of open book quizzes. Take her class you won't regret it!!!!!

This class is a easy way to get an A+. Only 2 reflective essays that are opinion based and easy. No exams, but lots of homework and quizzes. Class is really easy and professor is good. Take class if you want to succeed!

She was sick most of the course, but the short term was easy. I had no exams and 2 papers. The other work was easy.

If you want to get good grades missing to take her class might be costly for you Don't think twice just take her class and enjoy with full grade. Taken federal govt now will take texas govt class with her. Amazing professor.

Fun, easy class. She sorta of doesn't do well with responding to emails. The class is fun and easy. However, she doesn't respond well to emails.

Easiest class I've ever taken. Hybrid class with all work online. The assignments are all completion grades except for 3 essays you write and even then she's not a hard grader. No exams.

Take class do your homework(online) and get A.
