Great teacher. Will do her best to help you understand problems. Tests are not hard as long as you do the homework.

Best stats teacher ever! Her test come right from her class notes. If you dont understand something she will spend extra time helping you. She will work with you in every way to help you get an A in her class. Class attendence is not mandatory! It really is your mistake if you do not take miss Denson for your stats classes.

Instructor has a professional demeanor. She will provide her online bio along with class notes to print-out for studentsâ?? convenience. Great to have the textbook for absolute details of lesson, but there is no real need to spend $125 or more dollars, just purchase software needed to complete homework assignments. Semester started out very fast-paced; however, by mid-term pace of lectures slowed down, and a comfort to ask questions during the lecture more prominent. Professor Denson is approachable; answers email promptly and keep students informed of dates to remember. She will give reviews before the test if class protest.

I really enjoyed having her as my instructor. She goes above and beyond by having the lecture notes available online for the students to print. I really love when she takes time to show us tips on certain things that can be done with the TI-83/84 calculator, makes life 100% easier. Like any other course, take the time to "STUDY." (I'm current student) Very professional, business-like. Willing to help but wont babysit. Expects you to be mature adult and MAKE AN EFFORT to actually LEARN the material. If you want to actually learn math, she is outstanding. If you want to be babied and spoon fed, find another instructor. VERY attractive, which can be distracting :)

Notes are online and must be printed before each class. Fast pace class but there is a lot to be covered, as any Trig class. She will go over things again if need be. All HW is online due the day before the test, time consuming but benificial! The tests are very similar to the notes and HWs. Challenging class(attend every class)but GREAT professor!

I took the summer hybrid class and I got an A. A lot of the material was taught through her online lectures and then she reviewed with us in class. Watch the videos!!! Class is pretty straight forward and she always responds to emails. TONS of extra credit opportunity! Take her class!

Good teacher. I currently have an A but I have to spend A LOT of time studying. She will help if you after class. Test are 70% of your grade so you have to study if you want a good grade.

Love love love this teacher. She is very clear and detailed in her lessons. This class was about Paradoxes and I loved it! Very interesting and enjoyable. Will take this knowledge with me everywhere I go.

Seriously, Jennifer is a great teacher! I have never learned so much in a math class. She really prepared me for calculus, like I used to be anxious at the word 'algebra' and now I am confident going into calculus. It was more than just lecture, every class one of us would do a mini project , on yesterdays class. It is a tough class, worth it.

Very straight forward. The class attendance is not mendatory but you need to watch the lecture video if you skip. All of the tests are very similar to the homework problems & examples covered in the class.

Professor Jennifer Denson teaches at Hillsborough Community College (Brandon Campus) and is highly intelligent. Her recorded class lectures are extremely helpful when preparing for quizzes. I recommend students take her class, pay attention, and study hard. There is no time for falling behind. Utilize the Math Lab. Make that your second home. :-)

Professor Denson is such a wonderful teacher! She has awesome videos that explain everything you need to know to pass the tests and do the practice problems. She personally calls you to welcome you to the class. Very helpful and always there for you! Definately take this teacher!!

WONDERFUL and CARING teacher!!! I have taken two courses with Mrs. Denson (precalc and trig) and now I am taking statistics. I have never been good at math, until i took Mrs. Denson. Just show an effort and she will do everything she can to help you. SHE WANTS YOU TO PASS!

I took trig in high school and never really got it. Mrs. Denson has a great way of explaining things so that they make sense. For the first time, i really understand math and it is all because of her. I am taking her for precalc in the fall.257

Prof Denson is great! She gives you practice problems and reviews to help you get ready to test. Ask her a question and she answers right away! Even late at night and on weekends. Def. take her!

Ms Denson is so nice and so sweet. She reminds me of Ms Honey from Matilda.

Denson is really friendly and nice. Her lectures are clear and when she goes over the lecture slides, it's very easy to follow. The tests are just like the class examples. Everyone says precalc is hard but it's really not with Denson.

She is a wonderful and kind teacher. If there was ever a question that I needed to be answered she was able to do it in a timely fashion and help me truly understand what the problem was! She is great, loved her!

MRS. DENSON IS AN AWESOME TEACHER AND I AM BEYOND HAPPY I CHOSE HER FOR MY STATISTICS CLASS. I took Pre-Calculus online with Professor Denson. Class was great and Professor Denson was very attentive to get back to you about questions or problems over Email by the next day. Only negative I can see the class has to offer for people who work a 9-5 Mon-Fri job is the school work is due Sat Night by 11 not on Sunday. Final can be taken online.

She is the nicest teacher I've had in a really long time! I'm terrible in math and this class is far from easy but she was very clear, and knew exactly how to explain everything. I had help from a tutor and that also helped a lot. Make sure to take the notes!

TAKE HER. SHE HELPS U THROUGH THE PROBLEMS WITH A PPT. Also she has her own personalized note taking guide that you should buy. No textbook needed. Tests are exactly what she teaches. Shes super sweet.

TAKE HER CLASS!! She was very clear and helpful thought the lectures and her exams include the same problems from her "note pack" that you have to purchase (you don't need a book). Would definitely take her again!

I took math on line (I really don't like math) and her videos were very helpful when doing homework, you have to do all of your homework, unit tests and discussion to accumulate enough points before the exam. Her review is very helpful but you have to put your time into studying it. She is available to students! I would take her again.

Professor Denson was amazing. I took her Intermediate Algebra online class. She shows videos that show you step by step how to do problems. The problems are identical on homework and tests. If you take notes on the problems you will ace her class. Final exam was 40% of the grade. She sends out feedback every week on your progress, great motivator

Professor Denson is wonderful. She has a clear grading criteria and sends you motivational and congratulatory messages on Canvas for encouragement. She wrote her own textbook so it is VERY easy to follow along. She is always willing to help and really cares about her students. Easily one of my favorite professors at HCC.

Professor Denson was a fantastic choice for Elementary Statistics. I took her last semester, Spring 2016, and she really works with you. She's very clear, has great powerpoints, and even though you are required to buy the textbook, you WILL use it, and you will not regret it. Fabulous, and taking again for sure.

Makes sure her students succeed by helping them answer homework questions. She does't move on to another lesson if a student has questions about the subject!

Professor Denson is a very great teacher. This is my second Try at Elementary Stats I failed the first time with a different instructor, and I can strongly say I have learned a lot from her. She is very well prepared for every class and has her schedule organized. Prof Denson is very open to questions, and is always ready to help.

Professor Denson is great and I definitely recommend her. She doesn't bog you down with homework and her Exams are taken online with ProctorU. If you study your review closely, there is no way you could fail her short exams. Her downside is she offers no extra credit. I really think she should give EC to those students who do the optional reviews.

Do your work, and you're fine. Study the practice exam and the actual exam should be easy.

shes so amazing. take her friday class, its so easy. it turned out to be a project based class with only a midterm and a final. there is a project due each week, which is so easy,and no mymathlab homework. the mid and final were very similar to the reviews just know those concepts, she will change numbers and examples but same thing. it was great!!

I just finished this semester with Professor Denson and I swear on everything she is by far THE BEST teacher ever. She answers you quickly, breaks things down and has her own book. I am by far the WORST person in math and I passed her class with a "B". I wish she taught other math classes cause she is amazing!!!! Definitely take her!

She was a great teacher. Makes statistics seem easy. Gives positive reinforcement for good test grades. Though I noticed, for me personally she didn't give feedback when I got a D on one test. Drops lowest test grade. Lots of homework, but it is helpful. Tests only have 10-14 questions. Would recommend you take her.

Prof Denson is a great choice for online Math. Her course is well thought out, and pretty easy on the HW. However, the only annoyance is the reliance on the ProctorU (online proctor) requirement for both exams. She's a solid choice if you don't care about ProctorU.

Professor Denson's online class is amazing, she explains the information in a manner that you can understand. Her assessments are similar to the test, and she motivates you through out the semester. I would certainly take her class in any subject, if I could.

Professor Denson is one of the most organized and focused Professor's I have had. She is very clear about expectations, her lectures are thorough and easy to understand (she videos her lectures for online class). She even has her own course notepack which makes it super easy to follow along. Take her class, you won't regret it!

Ms. Denson is amazing. She is so sweet and caring. I have her for precalc this semseter and she has encouraged me each class. She has videos posted online, so if you miss class you can just watch her video to catch up. She's always there to help. You get to work a lot of examples in class and she will come help you at your desk if you need help.

Ms. Denson's IDS class is all about paradoxes and it's really interesting. So far we've studied paradoxes in politics, religion, physics, medical sciences, astrology, economics. I'm really enjoying this class. It's fun and the assignments are really easy. It's all online and there's nothing you have to buy. Everything's online and free.

I took Ms. Denson for precalc and for trig. I really enjoyed her class. She has powerpoints posted in MyHCC and youtube videos that really helped me. I'm going to take her for Calc II next. She's already answered my emails about her calc II class.

I had Ms. Denson over winter break for a 14 day class. The class was on paradoxes. It started out REALLY FUN! Then one day class was cancelled. The very next class, Ms. Denson said her sister had died that night. I am so grateful she kept teaching even though you could see her heart was broken. She wanted all of us to be able to graduate on time.

She is an excellent teacher! I love how she video tapes each lecture, it has helped a ton! She is very nice and makes the course very easy to understand! I have already recommended her to friends. I hope she decided to teach calculus! :)

I'm taking statistics online. Ms. Denson is wonderful! Anytime I have a question, she's there for me. Quizzes are 3 attempts each and unlimited time. I'm really doing well because of Ms. Denson and how much she cares about me getting my credits for graduation.

Professor Denson discovered me. I felt like I didn't really know what I wanted to do or major in. She saw something special in me and helped me figure out where I was going. She's amazing! Because of her, I know exactly what I want to do after transferring to USF.

If you took AP Stats in high school, it's pretty much the same material. She explains things well in her videos, drops, the lowest test grade, but for the online class you do have to have self-discipline

The class is well structured. I love watching the lecture videos and following along with the lecture notes, it helps me understand the materials a lot more especially with all the examples to give me a clearer picture of the whys and hows.

Awesome instructor! She splits up the exams into six different units, which mades the exams much less stressful. There was more than enough time to finish each exam, and I never had to worry about receiving an abysmal exam grade simply because I ran out of time.

My journey in calculus has been pretty fun because of Professor Denson. She is awesome because she was always there to help me. She's got great notes and videos, plus she was always ready to help after class, in her office or by email if I had a question.

The thing I liked most about Professor Denson's class was that she uses a lot of examples from real life. I learned a lot more than just math in her class. Plus I was able to use some of the examples in my other classes. I wrote my english paper on one of her examples about STD rates in Hillsborough county and ended up with an A on the paper.

Great professor. Always there to help others. She was there to help me through a tough situation outside of school. She still expected me to complete my assignments, but she was a strong and stable support during that tough time. Will recommend her to others.

My semester with professor Denson was marked by some pretty astounding breakthroughs for me in understanding calculus. I always struggled with chain rule in Calc I, but I finally understood it after spending a few minutes with her after class in calc2. She's got a way of explaining things that made sense to me. Professor Denson is a fantastic professor, this was my second time taking this course and she helped me understand the concepts that I struggled with. I cannot stress this enough to DO THE HOMEWORK! It is exactly what is on the tests and exams, you get unlimited attempts so it can boost your grade in the class.

She explains everything so well, very good at her job especially for a class as tough as Statistics. Perfect professor if you aren't familiar with Statistics. For the first time in my college career, I never had a professor that cancels class more than twice. Professor Denson always cancelled class and sometimes would get a sub that made it more confusing. She is an amazing professor that truly cares for her students, but always canceled class. I leaned by HW. DO THE HW that actually helps alot.

This professor is wonderful and I really liked her method of teaching. For someone who is unfamiliar with statistics, she made the lectures really easy to understand and all her practice examples were applicable to every assignment. She provides more than enough time on exams and gives you many attempts on each homework. Totally recommend her!

Shes a great professor, her lectures are a bit lack luster but homework is optional on Knewton and the only grades are tests and reviews. She makes it easy to understand. The only thing is that the tests barely had any questions so you fail if you miss 1 or 2. And shes absent a lot.

Such an easy class. I actually enjoyed the assignments.

I am slow with math but I got an A- in this class! Few assignments, quizzes, and what's the best, she has practisc test before the actual test! She drops the lowest score. If you do your assignments on time then getting an A is a piece of a cake! She has lecture videos which are very helpful! I would love to take her class again in the future!

Do your work and you will pass. Don't overthink the assignments, literally follow the instructions and you will be golden.
