This is a wonder teacher. couldn't ask for a better phys 1301 teacher she's very fair

I don't know what that other person was talking about, she was great. I took her over the winter mini section and I thought I would have a hard time with the course since it was only three weeks, but I didn't. Love her powerpoints and the games right before the test really help.

Loved this professor. She is very fair and gives you every opporunity to get a good grade in her class. She has tons of bonus and if you pay attention and take good notes you will do just fine on the exams. She also has a review right before each test and she always brought us pizza or subway for the review. Very nice professor. You will love her!

I had her in the Fall of 2006 and she was very kind to me. I had to miss some classes due to surgery and she caught me up after classes. She was very fair and super nice. Game days were the best because she brought pizza for the class and gave us a great review before each test. I am now taking her for PSYC 2314 and so far it's great

I am taking her right now for Intro to Psyc and I do like her. The first two test I got an A on, but her third test was a little harder. If you take her make sure you really study for that third test. This professor gives bonus opporunities all of the time. You are a fool if you do not take advantage of the bonus.

I just recently took her class & loved it. I feel that I learned everything I needed to learn & she does an awesome job by prepping you for your tests & final exam. Couldn't ask for more!

Summer school (Mini Session) + Psychology = CRAZY! I thought it would be a crazy four weeks of Psychology 2314 and I would go crazy trying to do this class, but Ms. Dunn was a great professor! As long as you do the work she gives you, there will not be a problem passing the class. If you want a good grade then you need to take her!

I had heard some good and bad things about this professor so I wasn't sure about taking her, but I am so glad that I did. None of the bad things were true and she was the best. I loved going to her class and I learned a lot from her. She only teaches a few classes each semester so get her if you can. My class was full from day one.

She is a really cool teacher, she is very young so she is easy to understand. As long as you study you will pass her tests. At the beginning we used to get a quiz about every week. I recommend this class to people who want to learn and have fun.

I didn't take her class at HCC, I had her at San Jac Central this past semester. If you want a good grade in Psyc, you should take this teacher. Explains everything in a way you understand it, plus she is funny. Loved the class! Bring your book to every class cuz you never know when you might need it.

I disagree with the comment below. I have learned a lot from her class so far and EVERYONE that I talked to prior to taking her class had nothing but positive things to say about the professor and the class. I would highly suggest taking her class if you need to take psychology. Test comes from notes, don't need book.

I just got finished taking her for Summer School. Before entering the class I did not really care about the subject, but found it to be very interesting. Did not really use the book that much, took notes from her power points and studied them, did very well on her exams. She is extremely nice and the class is fun. I would recommend taking her!

Currently taking this professor. Great class, test come directly from her lectures and power points. There is a project in the class, just follow the instructions and you will do great. The class is fun and I learned a lot!

Easy Class. Nice professor. Most of what you learn is common sense and not all that interesting. This wouldn't be the class to take if you were really interested in the field of psychology. I'd only take it if you need it for nursing.

This is an easy class. Take notes while in class. The test can be open book if the class decides on that. The questions on the test are exactly what's in your notes. She is very helpful and easy to understand. I highly recommend her. She is also fairly young, so she's very cool :>

I can honestly say the class was very interesting and I did learn some things that I didn't know. The professor was extremely helpful and gave people plenty of extra credit and points to receive a decent grade. She also tells stories to go along with her powerpoint slides. Great class and instructor, took summer course and it really moved. Used PP notes and she gives plenty of time to copy. She points out important items that will be on test. Just show up and follow instructions and you will get a good grade. She made the class really interesting. Very laid back.

I have really enjoyed this class and her as a professor. Take GOOD notes you will need them for the test. All tests are open book/notes but you still need to study to pass them. Prepare well for the project and follow the directions for it. She will also help you any way she can. Highly recommend her class.

She is very straightforward about what we need to know and what she wants. You literally need to be there every day because your notes are vital for your exams. I missed class one day and didn't get the notes and got a low grade on the test. Overall, good class.

classes are hybrid. since you only meet once a week, attendance is important.exams are open note, but you still need to study. I enjoyed her class, will be taking her for Lifespan. Class us hybrid, only meet once a week in evening. All exams are open booknotes. Only 1.5 hrs for 70 questions, so take good notes. project is easy if you do as instructed, follow all guidelines and get extra credit. she is funny and energetic, easy to understand and friendly.

I took her intro to psyc and well as life span development . I really wish she taught more classes. Excellent teacher and very humorous.

Took the hybrid Introduction to Psych class for Summer I semester, and the majority of the course work was online. We only met four times out of five weeks due to weather issues and teacher cancellation. I would only suggest this Hybrid course for those who are diligent. There is lots of course work that students must stay on top of for success.

Professor Dunn is great! She does outline everything that you need to do at the beginning of the semester to pass the course. As long as you attend class and turn in all of your assignments you will pass. Do no be late, you will miss important information.

took her hybrid class and really loved it. All exams were online and you could find it on google. Do her assignments and she just grades it as you do it, not how you do it. I did not answer right for assignments' questions but I still got good grade. One research paper but it is easy. I did 4 page essay and she did not expect me to write that long.

The power points were just a summary of the chapters so I just studied those and used google. Got an A in the class. All of my grades were done in a timely manner

Online class, need to be aware of due dates because she doesn't accept late work (none of my professors did in the Fall). I did my work as soon as she opened the folder and thought it was all pretty easy. Answered my questions pretty quickly. I had feedback on the items I got wrong on assignments except exams, just make an appointment to see them

I'm in her 8 week course now and haven't had one problem. Very organized, you know when everything is due, and I find the class interesting. She lets you move ahead if you want. This is the end of the 4th week and I'm about to take my final and turn in my project, which means I will be done at least 3 weeks early. I would recommend her to anyone

I liked the fact that we had some face-to-face classes with her so if I didn't understand something she could show me exactly where I went wrong. Real simple: exams 20% each (3), assignments 25%, and project 15%. Took 8 week online course and normal amount of work when considering you are taking the class in half the time you are supposed to (16 weeks). Got an A in the course and I actually finished it in 4 1/2 weeks because she lets you work ahead! Enjoyed the class

I thought the class was very organized especially when I compare it to other online classes I have had before. I just followed the class schedule and if I had a question then I emailed her. Took her for intro 2301 in the fall and 2314 in the spring (1st 8 weeks). Loved both of her classes. Grades were always up to date, email response time was reasonable, instructions were clearly stated. I used my book, got As on the exams (they were pretty easy if you read through the power points). I was kind of a stalker and emailed her with every small question I had, which she always answered. Very understanding and patient with me being a crazy student. I did NOT read every chapter, just did a summarized them. Got 2 A's and 1 B on the exams. One of the most organized classes I have had. Loved raising the virtual child.

Just finished her online class. Got an A, handful assignments per module, 3 exams, and 1 paper/project. thought it was a good class, i just followed the instructions and all was good. i could of finished the class early, but i was taking five classes and couldn't.

I received a B in her class, but it was my fault. I didn't do the virtual child and my paper could of been better. If I would of done those things, I would of gotten an A in the class. her personality is a lot like mine so i liked her. she made the topics very interesting and relatable. the group work helped me understand better and it's a free 100 every time you get into groups. i studied the notes and the sections she told us to read in the book and did great on the 3 exams

She is very nice and caring. She responds to your emails so fast. But, If you have a life, children, husband, work dont take this class. Her assignments are extra!!! so much work and I hated the long crossword puzzles. Quizlet help a little but most answers are in the book. She gives very low points earned on assignments and the work is alot!

Liked her so much Im taking her again for the second psychology, lifespan, this summer. I was in a 16 week course and finished everything in the first 5 weeks (except the final). Just finished the final today. Got an A.

I had no complaints in this class. When I sent her an email, I got a quick response. She kept us updated through the announcements. I bought the book, but didn't really use it. The PowerPoints were enough for me to get an A in the class. I really enjoyed the writing assignment.

I was going to receive a B in the class because I didnt do a few assignments, my fault. But she ended up dropping the lowest 2 assignment grades and offered bonus points 2 times. With that, I ended up with the A I needed. I didnt use the book, just the powerpoints she provided. Multiple choice exams. Highly recommend

In her streaming course this semester. All I can say is wonderful and so very helpful. Shes available before and after class, I always had questions. A few classes were optional Q/A sessions, with were great. Exams are online with plenty of time to complete. Overall great experience. Will take her for PSYC 2314.

Had a streaming course, will help with assignments during the stream, attendance not required, but it helped me understand concepts better, test are online and not done during the streaming class, will be taking her in fall for PSYC 2314 in streaming

Professor Dunn is the best! I literally am so glad I took her class shes so easy going and her lecture are fun but long depending on your schedule. If you need to take a class with psych TAKE HER. you have one project thats introduced to you at the beginning of class but due at the end of the sem. Shes great!

Professor Dunn teaches her best in this subject. If you attend class regularly and participate when asked to you receive a 100 on your in class work grade. She drops the lowest quiz grade and makes sure you do your best in her class and answers all questions with thorough explanation so you understand.

Had her for a hybrid class. She wanted us to read the chapter before class, would explain the harder topics, and we would work in groups on our assignments...which as long as we logged in to class and participated, we got a 100 for that assignment. I personally enjoyed the setup of the class. Will be taking her again for 2314.

I took her for a Saturday class. We met online through WebEx from 8-9:30am. I loved that I could sit in bed and do the class. We had group work which if we participated that Saturday, we got a 100. As long as you follow instructions, turn work in before due date you are golden. The group work helped me understand the concepts which was bonus.

She is one of the best professors I have had at HCC. She makes it clear at the beginning accept Late assignments; she gives you PLENTY of time. Her lectures are so enjoyable and she is way too Funny for her own good, missing them on any day would not feel right. Also, she is not a harsh grader at all. As long as you follow those instructions, 100.

I took two classes during the summer, which was overwhelming for me at first, this class was easier than my other one. Professor Dunn is well organized, and she does give you time to finish her assignments. You do have a final essay and PowerPoint which is not even bad. I definitely would recommend her to anyone taking psychology.

Professor Dunn's PSYC2301 class is a breeze! She's super organized and funny, making the lectures enjoyable. Assignments are manageable, and she's a lenient grader. The textbook isn't required, and Unstuck AI was a big help for my study prep.

Professor Dunn made the class enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and articulates all subject matter easily. All the homework is due online and she tells where you find notes and answers in the online textbook provided.
