She is really nice and extremely helpful.The first thing she does in class is answer any questions that students have from homework,then she givess her lecture.Gives extra credit and lets students turn homework late and does not grade homework until the midterm ;) comes a little late,that gave me time to do homework.

Jennifer Martinez is awesome. She is a little unorganized, however, her teaching technique has made me love math. She explains well, uses many examples, and is highly interested in wanted the student to pass. She will give every opportunity for the student to pass if failing, only if effort is put in the class. I would take her again.

Online Class, VERY EASY!!! I got an A, and i suck in math, it's easier with her and online. I will keep on taking her or her online class whenever i can. She's also nice.

She is a great teacher. She will explain any problem you ask her to. She'll help you after class if you're still not getting the concept. She gives too many opportunities to turn in homework. Slow on grading tests. Somewhat disorganized, but that can be overlooked because she really wants to help and always approaches you like you can do the math.

I took her Math 110 Internet class this past fall 2005. You just have to go to the lectures, make sure you send your internet homework before the math test. The class was alright. Just make sure you really study for solving equations. Have fun.

she is too nice. her class was very easy i got an A! she is always willingto go out of her way if you dont understand something. and she tries to teach you the easy way of solving things instead of the hard way, she will still teach you the hard way if it applies to the level of the course. take her if you want an A

Professor Martinez was, by far, my favorite math teacher yet. She is the epitome of a clear, helpful math teacher. She gives make-up exams and extra credit for pete's sake! If you go to class and ask her questions, you will pass. I got an A in her class. TAKE HER!

What a wonderful teacher. She was so generous and willing to help. I was so intimidated by Math, but she helped me overcome that. Her class was well organized and not too fast paced. Wish I could take her again. If you want an A you must earn it, but she is a fair grader so it is possible if you work hard. Highly recommend!!!!!

She is a great teacher and a great person outside of teaching. She takes those extra steps to help a student out. There is EXTRA CREDIT here and there, but not that much. If math isn't your thing, then take this class. 75% use of the book, A LOT of help after class and has a good sense of humor. What else can you ask for?

I took the Math 125 online class with Professor Martinez and it was a great experience. There was A LOT of book work to do, followed by computer work, online quizes, & 4 in-class tests. The Course Compass program is awesome. You can watch videos & see examples on how to solve the problems. A great learning tool. Lots of work, but highly recommend!!

She is not horrible, she actually gives point away by giving you a home work quiz same asthe HW.Group assignments are essay and she helps u with it. Exames are mostly like HW problem plus u can ask her anything. extra credit is availble once in two weeks.She kinds of go fast butthere is allt of material,do the HWand understand them then u get A.

Love this teacher. hated math and failed all my life till i got to her class. i came to the lectures even though they were not mandatory and she really helped me. a lot of homework online and from the book but i think thats the only way to practic/learn math (for me anyway). i recomand!

Great teacher & balances points so you can get a solid B if you do the assignments (even when you are a C or lower on tests). Did a hybrid class & went in only when I needed help & for 4 in class tests.

She is overall the best teacher ive had at pierce in the past year. She cares about her students and wants you to learn the material. Anyone who says shes a bad teacher didnt try to learn and probably failed the class. HIGHLY recommend taking her. Is possible try to take the asap program if she is still available to teach it.

She is an awesome teacher! She will absolutely everything and anything so that you get the material and everyone in the class is together. HW quizzes are straight from the homework and she lets you use open book, open notes, and your homework for all quizzes. TAKE HER CLASS! you won't regret it!!

Overall good professor. Class is a whole lot of work seeing as its 2 classes combined in one but just do the hw and all the quizzes and you'll pass. She gives practice tests before every exam which is frankly what helped me ace all my exams. Highly recommended

As crazy as the ASAP program is, Martinez makes it totally doable. She gives a fair amount of homework, but it's your hw quiz and test scores that really count. She gives practice tests and the hw quizzes are open book, so she really does everything she can to help you succeed. As she says, you will be eating, breathing, and dreaming about algebra.

Martinez is awesome she makes it math 125 so easy. She explains the material very well, and she will help you with your grade and make sure you do good in class.

really friendly and gives feedback right away. if she sees you're struggling she'll offer or sometimes extend dates for better understanding. I took this course during the summer so it was fast (3 chapters a week). Theres an on campus final overall very chill course! :D

The class was easy for me because I understand this subject pretty well so it was a breeze. Received a 99% in the class. The final is taken on campus but she gives you an outline of things you need to know. She gives three tries per quiz and one for the chapter test. Pretty simple. The homework takes 12hrs/ch at most so start early in the week.

Taking math online isn't as hard as you would think. You can take assignments, tests, and exams multiple times. Learning at your own pace is also a plus!

Mrs. Martinez is a true sweetheart. I took her Math ASAP. This was not an easy class by any means. However, she was so workable and helpful. If you put in the work (and you have to to pass/get a good grade) she will meet you half way and do everything she can to help you. She gives extra credit. Go to her tutor Edward! I knew taking ASAP Math would not be easy and super time consuming but i absolutely enjoyed this class and learned so much. She's so great when it comes extra credit. She's super understanding and although its 2 math classes in 15 weeks, she made everything super exciting and smooth sailing! Super cool that the books aren't super pricey!

She is so great. I highly recomend taking her! I took her for ASAP 115 & 125 together. It was not easy but she made it so much easier for me to understand the material. Gives extra credit opportunities! I passed with an A. If your not dedicated to take this class and study on a daily basis i don't recommend taking both classes at the same time.

Great teacher took the online class it was hard and there is tons of Homework but she gives you 3 quiz attempts . 4 tests and lots of discussions to help boost your grade. MET is 40% of your grade so make sure you prepare for it ! I passed with a C and was happy with it !

I took her for math 115 online. We had a quiz for every chapter but we could retake it up to 3 times. There is so much homework as well. Math is my worst subject but now I understand it so much better. I passed with an A. Definitely recommend.

Professor Martinez is sweet and caring. Her lectures are heavy; don't be afraid, she will answer all of your questions, or have you meet with her during her office hours. She wants all of her students to succeed. She also has lectures online to help you, but does not replace her class lectures. She also gives you opportunities for extra credit.

I took her class online. You have to pay for access to MyMathLab and the online textbook. There is homework and a quiz every week along with discussions and projects. The on campus final is worth 40% of your grade and you MUST get a 50% or above or you automatically fail the class. Study and do your homework and you will pass.

Her class is pretty straight forward. She has quizzes almost every week, but the questions are usually easy questions from the book. Her tests are not difficult as long as you finish and understand homework problems.

Martinez really helps everyone. like everyone. If you fail an exam she gives you extra points like 5 or 10 just to show up to the tutoring center and get help, and get sign by any ASAP Tutuor. Alot of Homework. Textbook is required. I taken her 5 Exams, which if you one fail. SHE will remove two. Also open notebook quiz (From the textbook).

i was kinda scared to take an online class especially math because it has never been my strongest subject but professor martinez was honestly the best. her online videos/lectures made it so much easier to grasp the lessons super glad i took her class. Definitely gonna take her math 125 class

Professor Martinez is the best math teacher. Her teaching style is amazing, I aced every quiz, test, and even the final. Her weekly quiz is the exact question from the book, and she gives you a study guide for each test and the test questions are very very similar to the books. Daily homework is online. Pay attention and study and you will pass.

Professor Martinez does not teach well during physical class. Some students interrupt her during lecture, ask questions that derails the class, and taught straight from the book. The course was transferred online; she posted lecture videos, and she did great. She continued to teach straight from the book but she explained on the material.

She is super nice and is really playful. Definitely an easy A. You do use the book for in-class quizzes but they are open notes. TBH I missed a lot towards the end and still got an A but you lose like 2 extra credit opportunities.

The one thing I didn't really like about the class were the true and false questions that were planted at the beginning of each exam. There are weekly quizzes and homeworks, tests are from homework problems. Its a subject that you got to put time into learning. Easiest teacher I have ever had in my life!

Very laid back professor, she is very sweet and considerate. Class was fairly easy but lots of online homework and the exams are like the homework and activities she gives during class. Makes you watch and take notes on videos of each chapter which was not helpful so be prepared to learn on your own.

Math is one of my worse subjects, but Professor Martinez made sure I understood and answered all my questions. Very caring teacher and very kind. 10/10 would take another math course with them.

Professor Martinez is the best. I gave birth to my first baby mid-semester & still passed with an A. She accepts late work but you just get points taken off. Just do the video notes and copy the video, simple! You have homework 4 nights a week with a max of 12 questions. And if you needed help, just ask her during class and she explains well.

As a guy coming back to school that failed math throughout high school and my first round of college, Professor Martinez made the class enjoyable to the point where I was able to learn. Tests and homework load are fine. Professor Martinez was always available to help students with difficulties, 10/10 would take again.

great professor, and teaches really well. the homework is automatically graded with the program she uses so it was really difficult, you have to get everything right to get full marks. But for the worksheets and quizzes, she is a lot more lenient as long as you try you will do well.

She is incredibly sweet, but she gets carried away (distracted) with her calculator, or just anything in general, which is a pro and a con. She can spend 1 hour to type 1+1, or 1 hour trying to answer a student's question. She does not get straight to the point, and uses lots of filler language. If you like to read long books, you'll love her.

I loved prof martinez, she made learning enjoyable and her tests were not overly difficult. she cares deeply that everyone understands a topic, and will keep going until she is sure. she also takes sickness very seriously, which is very refreshing- she sent a student home in the middle of class bc she had a cold. 10/10, recommend her to anyone

Professor Martinez is a very caring professor and will try her best to make sure everyone understands the topic. a lot of lecture vids/notes, hw, some activities in class, but most of the time spent in class was her going over the topics and homework questions. exams are basically like the homework. very kind with grading and extra cred.

Very kind and caring professor, will take extra time to accommodate you to teach, always wants you to understand the curriculum. Overall a great professor. The only thing though is that she is not really tech savvy so there are buffers and lagging of class time. Sometimes is a little late to class.
