Gives extra credit on basically everything. Is very fair and her personality is enjoyable. She actually made me laugh! Lectures can be boring. Lab was fun. The class itself is difficult so it is what you make of it. I didn't have high expecations for this class as far as being fun before I took it anyway so I can't say I am dissapointed!

Anatomy is a very challenging course. She really wanted us to be successful. She gave us all kinds of ways to help memorize. She was always available and eager to help. Some people would leave lab early or not come to class and then complain that it was her fault they didn't do well. I think she is awesome.

Professor hill is AMAZING!!! If you have to take anatomy take her! Im confused as to how people could not like her. She had a very unique way of teaching and wanted her students to do well. Professor Hill was absolutly amazing! Anatomy is an incredibly hard class, but Professor Hill made it very easy to understand and was always there for extra help. I highly recommend her!

If you are looking for a biology teacher that is not tricky but straight forward she is a great teacher to have. I emailed her the night before a test to ask a question and she responded within a half hour. Take her, do the work and you will do well in her class.

Great prof!!! Test are really fair, tested directly from her notes. Don't really need the book, but useful to have in case you want to look stuff up. Attendance is important towards he end of class because it could help you get a higher grade. Basically they're free points if you show up to class, if not then it'll will be a detriment to your grade

Anatomy is an extremely hard class. Prof. Hill makes it ten times easier than it could be. Loves teaching and always willing to meet with you and explain anything you don't understand. This class requires a ton of studying, but I have really enjoyed her class.

Professor Hill is a wonderful teacher---although sometimes she teaches thinking that we are all bio majors already and should know an abundance of information like she does. Professor Hill is so nice and helpful. She gives outlines for every lab, and tells you exactly what models she will use for which questions on the lab. She asks you questions based on EXACTLY what is written in your lecture notes. If you do your part and study outside of class, you will do great.For a tough class, most kids have great grades!

Professor Hill is highly competent and covers the large amount of core material as lucidly as possible, emphasizing concepts rather than memorization. It is a very hard class but that is as it should be for future medical professionals. She is very helpful.

IF you want to pass do all the work.. the lecture exam are straight from the powerpoint, DONT USE TEXTBOOK.. She is amazing and the lowest grade you can earn is a C so dont take this class with no one else but her she is sweet and down to earth..

Professor Hill was very straight forward and helpful when it came to covering the material. She always is available after class and aims for her students to succeed. This is def. not an easy course so be prepared for some serious study time. But if you put in the effort and listen to Hill, your bound to do well.

Very good professor. Anatomy is a very difficult class but she still teaches it very well. In comparison to the other professors for Anatomy, she is the best. Tests are relatively easy and homework is as well. If you study you will pass without a doubt.

The nature and volume of the material in this class makes it challenging. That said I do not believe anyone could present it better than Professor Hill. This is not a course for a liberal arts specialist. It is for people entering the health care or research field, so be prepared to work hard and learn a lot. Prof. Hill is excellent.

Just finished Dr. Hill's anatomy class. I have only praises for her and her style of teaching. She knows her stuff, presents concepts in a clear manner,very helpful and approachable. She designed the course so that students learn more. Goes out of her way to make students understand the concepts. So lucky to be in her class.Excellent prof! 10/10!

I Loved Hill's style. This is a very hard class and I would not want to take it with a prof other than Hill. She is very helpful, very clear, pleasant and encouraging. She returned assignments quickly and pointed out what why you got things wrong. Lab practicals are very difficult but she is always willing to clarify any questions you may have.

I would highlight more tags to summarize Dr. Hill but it doesn't allow more than 3. Dr. Hill does her job very professionally with a sense of humor. There is a decent amount of work involved throughout a semester. She's super clear and is willing to discuss. Lectures aren't particularly captivating but she knows her stuff and inspires her students.

HIll is a very fair professor. She makes it clear what you need to do well and even offers a small amount of extra credit on the tests. The grade you get reflects the effort you put in. I am very glad that I chose to take anatomy with her and would recommend to anybody else to do the same.

This was my second time taking Anatomy and after my first experience i was very apprehensive. Professor Hill changed that. She made the material seem less intimidating. She gives a lot of homework assignments but they are SO helpful with retaining material and it's a very helpful grade boost. Do everything you can to take BIO 142 with her! :)

I had Professor Hill for Bio Lab 132. She is very clear about what she wants. She is fair and will help you if you need it. I learned more from her class than I did in regular Bio 133. Pretty outgoing and friendly. Would recommend!

Dr Hill made me fall in love with Anatomy! Loved, loved, loved this class. Gives lots of homework BUT it is only to benefit you, trust me!! Lectures are kind of boring (which ones aren't), but she is funny so that helps! Study hard, put in 120% of your effort, and you'll get an A! She gives extra credit in all of her tests. I highly recommend.

Love this teacher! I found a really dry subject to be extremely enjoyable. It's not an easy course but her tests are very clear, she is super organized, grading turning around is within the week. Recommend taking pictures of models in lab, I used evernote to store them on my phone. If you are a tactile learner, you need open lab. I got an -A.

Professor Hill is the BEST! She dumbs down the material and makes it easy for you to understand and will help you with any questions you have. Test questions are very direct and she doesn't try to confuse you. Just do the readings and study on your own time and complete the homeworks and you'll get an A like I did!

Hardest class I've ever taken. Classmates who had other professors told of a much easier time. Everything in the chapter was on the tests & final was cumulative. Lab practicals were timed with only a few min at each station. High pressure! Nice person, very helpful in lab, but I would still recommend taking this course with another prof.

Dr. Hill is an amazing and funny professor. She is incredibly clear about what is expected of you and what will be on the tests. It's an overwhelming amount of info (especially over the summer) but she tries to make it less intimidating. Take pictures of labeled models in lab!! If this is your 1st anat class I highly recommend doing the reading/homework/quizzes asap so you can focus on studying before the tests. Dr. Hill is a great professor! She only tests on what she lectures on in class for the unit exams, so make sure you go to lecture. She is an engaging lecturer, and very funny. I was never surprised by a grade in her class, she is very clear on her expectations. I wish she was teaching 145!

She's an excellent professor! She explains things well and helpful in answering questions. Read the chapters, do all the Connect assignments and study on a regular basis. Study what is on her PowerPoints for tests. Bonus questions/points are available for each of her tests.

A&P is a hard class in general but Dr. hill made it as simple as possible. If you know the PowerPoint slides the tests are not a surprise. Lab exams are hard but she tells you exactly what is going to be on them. I wish she taught 145 I would take it with her in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend!

Professor Hill was awesome! There is a ton of information in the human anatomy 144. Her unit exams were right off her powerpoint lectures with no surprises and she offers extra credit. Very straight forward on what you need to know/ what is expected for the practicals. She's kinda goofy but in a good way which makes the lectures/labs go quickly.

Dr. Hill is an amazing professor. I took BIO 144 with her. She is a tough grader but she is very organized and clear about what is going to be on the test. She cuts down a lot of information and makes you know only the important stuff for the test. There are 5 unit exams, 1 dropped 2 lab exams, about 5 quizzes and a final exam.

Tough class great professor. if its not in her notes it will not be on a test. Dont take this class if you arent ready to put in ten hours at least a week outside of class.

Organized, helpful and makes learning interesting. Her grade system is easy to keep track of your progress and she gives awesome notes and handouts to break down the material for you. Be ready to study like a full time job to get a good grade. In the end you will remember a lot of concepts and terminology that is used to help in following courses.

Professor Hill knows the subject and is able to explain the complexities to even someone with no understanding of it. You read, review in lecture the material you've read, read labs before laboratories and work alongside your classmates. It takes a lot of your time, be prepared and study every day! Stay on top of material a bit each day!

She explains topics very well, and tells you exactly what to study for each quiz or test. She was extremely flexible with lectures because they are recorded. If your going to take Anatomy and Physiology 1, Dr. Hill is the best teacher for it, I've been in her class twice now and many students are there because of her well know teaching skills in the field. Shes great at her job and makes A&P easier to learn both in fall/spring semesters and even the summer course.

I took BIO 144 with Professor Dr.Hill during my first semester here at MCC. The class itself is very challenging, as to be expected though. Dr.Hill made it very clear what she was expecting and there is the opportunity for extra credit on the lab exams and in lectures, as well as she's always willing to explain extra during office hours.

Dr Hill has helped me throughout this semester so many times and genuinely wants her students to do well. She gives extra credit on every lecture test and lab exam, if you pay attention in class she sometimes hints to what the question will be. Not a lot of hw but be prepared to study. Emails back fast, always has office hours. Take her class!!

this class is super easy and she makes it very clear what needs to be done. there's a super light workload; just complete the labs and do a pre-lab every week, and you're set! the exams are a little tricky but if you look at the material for 30 minutes you'll do alright. she wants to help you; ask questions!

Homework, quizzes and tests are very straight forward. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the writing assignments but i you give yourself time it really isn't too difficult. There isn't an overwhelming amount of work in this class which is nice when you're taking a handful of other classes. She is very easily accessible if you have any issues.
