she's a fun teacher. gives A LOT of extra credit. If you go to class you should be fine. Most of the important topics are covered in class.

She is a really fun and easy teacher if you read the book. Some great movies too!

Probably the easiest Psych professor. Class is a lot of fun, there is no reason to miss, she gives you extra credit sometiems just for showing up! She talks about sex and college topics a lot, and material is easy as long as you read the book!

She is the best teacher I've ever had! I don't think she is the easiest, but her class is very easy to pass if you do your part in reading! No reason to not come to class!! She makes everything really fun!!

This professor was so helpful and understanding! She is a lot of fun. She talks a lot about lots of different cultures and how you think about them. She tries to teach you things about real life and help you learn about other people. It was great!

very nice and helpful, test are simple as long as u read and know the material. gives u lots of chances to do well with extra credits.

She's a great, down-to-earth teacher. I never fell asleep in her class because she talks a lot about sex and stuff that college kids are interested in. The class is easy as long as you read and go to class. I loved it!

She is awesome! Class is always fun! She makes people speak up in a class of 300. She talks about sex and drinking and drugs and all kinds of fun stuff. I always LOVE her shoes and clothing too. Just read the book and the tests will be easy--i got an A+

Class was very fun...she made the lectures very entertaining. Tests were somewhat hard,but as long as you study you can do well. And she is not to bad to look at either!

she tries really hard to make class fun and interesting. i've had other professors who were really boring, but she always tries to make you want to learn--or at least, pay attention! if you go to her office hour she will go over any stuff you didn't get

she's really changed. MUCH EASIER, I dropped before, and now all I did was study class notes (which I don't take very well), and got an A. Didn't really read books. Take her over ANYONE.

I don't know why someone would say she isn't professional. She's an amazing teacher and person, completely down to earth, azingly smart, professional, helpful, pretty and has a great sense of style in clothes and in her way of teaching!

She's an awesome professor. I would reccomend her to everyone. I find it amazing that she has classes with 300+ people and she still makes it fun. Also she makes a concious effort to learn names!! Make sure you study though. If you study in her class you'll do fine. And she's always there to help.

Actually, i think she was a little bit confusing...i would study and get OK grades--however, she was very helpful when i asked for help. she doesn't try to teach the old school way, and makes it relatively interesting.

This prof. is so great.She works so hard to get you to learn.Some people don't try. She gives a practice quiz for every test.She brings in stuff like pop tarts to help you learn.I am a junior and I know now how most profs teach. She is above all of them. Defintitely take her!

Dr. Hirsh is a great professor. She encourages everyone to go to her office hours if they have any questions. She shows us videos to help understand certain parts of the lecture and tries to relate things to her students. You must read and study for her exams because there is a lot of information.

The class was sometimes difficult, but with study guides the exams are usually easy. She watches lots of videos or video clips. Shes always willing to help, but does get upset when grades are low. She has an obsession with hating cigarettes.

The best teacher I've had so far at Mason. She makes class worth while and fun. The tests are somewhat difficult but she offers lots of extra credit to get your grades up. I would highly recommend Dr.Hirch, she's very nice!

If you go to class and pay attention, this class is very easy. Even if you don't do well on the tests, you can get massive EC. I stopped reading the book halfway through the semester,and didn't study for the final two tests, but I still got an A. You could get away with not buying the book.

the class is difficult but she knows what she is talking about, you have 5 exams and get to drop the lowest, you need to know and study really well to do good on the exams. She gives extra credit, like 2 or 4 points for coming on rainy days and for other things which go to the exams and help a lot

Yah! I totally agree! she was a great professor, very clear and used GREAT examples, not to mention her GREAT sense of style! Very willing to help you if you need it and tries to get everyone to contribute so that the class is not boring. I would DEFINITELY recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Hirsch defintely takes what could be very dull subject matter & livens it up. She has a good sense of humor & uses personal stories to make lectures more interesting. She also curses like a sailor, which is so funny!!!

She is really energetic and likes the class to get involved. She makes whats boring into something intresting. BUT her tests are not easy so you have to study but she drops the lowest one. I'd moss deff take her.

Attend all lectures, and they are actually quite enjoyable. She does everything to help people get good grades. Take her!!!!

She is a great teacher. Tests are okay, not easy but not hard. You have to participate in 5 experiments which are not bad at all. Sign up for them early, because they do fill up fast. You can also do 5 more for extra credit points. She explains things clearly and well. It's best to come to class.

five tests, drops lowest. tests are har dbut she tells you exactly whats on them, emails you a few answers, tells you answers before the test, and asks questions like 'whose my boyfriend'. shes hott, cusses a whole lot, is pretty explicit, and gives extra credit assignments. if you dont have a prob with any of that taker her.

She is very easy and a nice person. She curves and gives extra credit. Its not hard doing well in her class. I thought she was terrific at first, But I just got sick and tired of her telling us about personal stuff, stereotypes and nonstop cussing. Some things are no longer funny/interesting after a certain point. She is not THAT hot either-7.5/10.

I have no idea what the last person is saying she only told a FEW personal stories to help us understand the concepts in a real life situation. I wouldn't have done as well w/out examples but I got an A! AWESOME PROFESSOR!Helpful and clear! Oh and she never said anything about extra credit on a piece of paper this semester, you must be mistaken.

All my emails were answered but she has over 200 students so when she couldn't email me back immediately i didn't get mad or anything. She was a pretty cool professor, used cool examples and def tried to relate to us to make it easier. She is hot too.

I didn't find her class as easy as everyone else, but I also didn't do the reading so that's my fault. She was very nice, remembers names and faces, tries to be helpful with examples and extra credit but I did feel as though every test question was a diagnosis... we're not psychologists yet! DO THE READING and go to class, you will learn something.

I don't know why people are hating Dr. Hirsh she's cool down to earth and she makes class really interesting to be in. Like she said she is there to help you. And for 34 yrs. old she is a very pretty lady. SO STOP HATING!!

This class is amazing! She is definitly my favorite professor so far! Taking this class has further interested me to major in psyc. she makes sure that everyone understands the material and makes the class very fun and lively! Also, to the last person, she is VERY willing to talk and is very upbeat! and who cares if she curses! SO DO YOU!

She gives you 5 answers on every single test. you get to drop your lowest exam. she gives you 20 points of extra credit; experimetrix and a prejudice assignment. you don't want to skip her class though, she skips over a WHOLE lot of stuff in the book. i HIGHLY recommend her

Professor Hirsch is a really nice lady, she is one of those teachers where it is impossible to fall asleep in her class. The class is never boring, and she is always making everyone laugh. Even though she covers like 6 modules a day, she is still really cool. You can't fail her class!!

Her enthusiasm for the course makes her an excellent teacher. She always knows what she's talking about and is often enjoyable to listen to. Tests are just difficult enough so that if you've been atleast paying attention in class, or studying on your own (one or the other) you'll do fine. Put effort into your papers and they'll boost your grade.

SHE IS GREAT! I HATE missing that class because i enjoy it so much. Tests are easy if u study just a bit/or atleast take good notes. She has powerpoint which makes it easy. She is also really into what she does and is funny/fun. She is young so she relates to the students well. Only bad this is she is sometimes intimidating. TAKE HER!

I love her class. Her teaching methods are great keeps you involved in the Class. Test are easy and also drops the lowest one. Take this class if you want a good grade.

Awesome!. Read the book (VERY light reading, it was the easiest reading i had for a class yet) & take notes and you'll be PERFECT. just go over them before tests, you're SURE to get an A. Seriously, I hated when i slept in for this class, because Prof. Hirsch really made it fun! She genuinely cares. I wish she was teaching more psych classes :(

It's all up to you what grade you get. You copy down her notes and occassionally read bits of the book and it's cake.

She is a great teacher and I loved her class all the way through. She genuinely cares and I love the fact that she preaches non-smoking. She was always very lively and did her best to make the class fun, expecially when we ate the musk candy.

i'm a forign student,and i bet you'll like her if you have taken her class,she is NICE and she always asks you to ask questions if you had any,she has a lot of patiences.and she will give you five questions before each quizes,i strongly recommand her.

Easy B, class can be pointless sometimes, and didn't read the book, but you do need to study the notes before the tests

she has great ways of making her class ineresting using videos and treats. her exams werent too difficult but werent easy either, I got an A. as she says " u need to read that yellow book for your exams!"

Professor Hirsch is the coolest professor ever. All the haters out there just need to come to class or read the book. You don't even need to do both, just pick one! tons of extra credit. Professor Hirsch actually cares about being a good teacher. She wants students to enjoy her class and she makes an extra effort to make it a class worth going to.

Jennifer is like a comedian up on stage. She is funny, controversial, & loud at times. I liked how she presented her material very clearly & in easy to understand terms. Her tests were pretty easy if you study & she's hip with the crowd. Depending on what time you get her, you might have her for a long or short period. Hirsch for president!

This teacher is AWESOME!! Extremely interesting & Fun. She helps you out alot for exams and tells you what to study. If you can't pass this class with a B or higher you have issues!! Go to class its actually worth it- some classes she bring food too!! :-) She's definitely one of my favorite teachers!!

Great teacher, good sense of humor. She defenitely knows what she is talking about. The class is very interesting, and if you come to class, you will defenitely pass with no problem. Don't think that her tests are a piece of cake, they are multiple choice, but if you didn't come to class, you will not pass because it's all on class discussions.

Excellent teacher. Not only does she relate to the young students, because she's young also, but she really knows psychology up ans down. Plus, she makes the class so much fun, even though on most days you have to stay 3 hours w/her, but she is funny and she doesn't like smoking cause she talks about it a lot. If you want an A, go to class/notes.

The very first day she called me out..cuz of my pen color! haha She is a wonderful teacher and knows how to holds the attention of a large class. She tried her best to learn everyone's name which is great! She helps out every way possible and gives practice quizzes which is on the tests. I love the class and def reccomend her!

to get a A+ in this class. Bring a laptop to class and type all her notes. She goes throught the slides quickly. Just study the notes before the day of the exam and should do fine. no need for the book but it's pretty interesting. Plus, she's very innovative and keeps your attention.

She was great at lecturing and kept the interest of her students. Might be a little boring if you took it in highschool...it's def all a review of highschool. Does interesting experiments in class, and provide movies to explain material.She tells you exactly what if on the tests and lets you miss one test and have it dropped. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hirsch is awesome. go to her office and ask for the notes. she'll give u a cd with all the notes on it by chapters. and just email those chapters to yourself (it take a lot of space.. 50+mb). You can get notes before she even presents them in class! Just remember to show up for the test. So easy. btw smoking body.

This class is a waste of time in terms of learning new things -- it's all trivial and common knowledge. It's easy, though and satisfies the requirement. Show up to every class and take notes, 30% of test questions are not from the book, but from the lectures. I wasn't a big fan of the way the prof communicates with students, but she is helpful.

Dr. Hirsch is seriously AMAZING. TAKE HER!! Even if you don't have to take psyc, take her as an elective! She is fun, smart, witty, makes class interesting, helpful, cares about her students and beautiful. Probably one of the VERY best professors Mason has to offer! I cannot say it enough, TAKE HER! You have to put effort in class, but I got an A!

She's funny and able to maintain interest from the entire class. There's a lot of material to learn for each exam, but it's manageable. Thoroughly enjoyed the class.

Funniest person I've ever met! The class is about 200 people and hardly anyone ever skips because she is so funny and interesting to listen to! You do need to read the book to get alot of the detailed information behind everything, esp. for tests, but take notes and read ahead and the classes are awesome!

Dr. Hirsch is great! Her class was exciting and attendance is mandatory (she doesn't take role, but she does experiments and watches movies in class that are always on the test). Only have to take 3 out of 4 exams. 50 MC....piece of cake as long as you go to class & read what she doesn't cover in class. I learned a lot!

Her classes were not easy...but she is easy on the eyes. I didn't miss a class or extended study session. Brains, beauty, and a psychologist who make you sweaty and right bad checks. She's awesome.

She's great. There's a good number of her exam questions that involve things she did in class, so try to come or ask a friend what you guys did when you were gone. Extra credit available, and I think she curves at the end..

She has 3 tests and they are open book and notes. She also has you right a 10 page paper at the end of the semester. You do not have to make a presentation. The final paper is also made in groups. So choose wisely. I like her teaching style. She has a good sense of humor and she loves participation.
