Dr. Hollander's tests were not too hard just read the book and you'll do fine on tests. You must show up for class attendance is worth an entire test grade. More than 3 absences and you will not get a good grade. Also, she gives bonus for experimetrix credits. That is more than 15 pts. added to your test grade. It pulled up my average to an A

I loved her class! She gives very interesting lectures with her personal experience. The material is easy to follow because she explains things well. If you go to class, take your notes, and study, there is no reason to do badly. The only assignments are the tests, but the questions are covered in her lectures. She posts the study guides on Moodle

Her lectures are really interesting and she gives study guides which is great but you must read the textbook if you want an A not everything is in the study guide. Read the chapters and do the study guide thoroughly for each exam!

I love Dr. Hollander. She moves around throughout the room as she speaks which helps keep the lecture engaging. She gives a lot of examples and stories related to the content which really helps in making sense of some concepts. Lab is so much easier than 223, and the class content is similar in difficulty, but is explained much better!

I love taking her class. She is a great professor. She makes the class very interesting with her stories and her examples. She gives you study guides for each test, which are helpful. Although, you need to read the textbook too. If you go to class and read the textbook you will get an A

I felt like no matter how many notes I took in class, it didn't matter. The only way for you to pass the class is if you read the textbook. I wouldn't recommend her.

Dr. Hollander is an amazing professor. Her lectures are really enjoyable and I actually looked forward to this class (it was an 8am which says a lot). Her tests are pretty straight forward with whatever is on the study guide she gives out. She says to read the textbook but I rarely did and still passed with a good grade. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!

I took this online & it was very easy. She post a new chapter every week to cover & you have until the following week to respond to the two discussion boards. The test were 30 questions & were timed to 40-50 minutes. She answers any questions you have through email. You will have to read the book for the material but she does post notes sometimes.

Decent professor overall but didn't round up a 89.8 to an A :( Does not realize students are struggling during the coronavirus and still won't help students out when this semester is far from normal.

Her lectures really help put into perspective what you are learning. She gives study guides the day before the test, in my experience sometimes they worked and sometimes they were nothing like the test. Tests are 30 questions. You have revel quizzes for each chapter, and psychology enrichment credits. She offers 4 bonus points as well.

Just dont take her. She doesnt care about her students at all. I tried to communicate with her many times, and she blew me off every time. Also, her tests dont really make sense. I relied heavily on previous knowledge from other psych classes. I can wholeheartedly say I didnt learn a thing in that class. It just isnt worth it.

dont be fooled by the good rating she has on here. Im taking her online and it is the worst psychology class Ive ever taken! she doesnt give any type of notes to let us know what will be on the test all she does is tell us to read a book and then take a test. her tests dont make sense whatsoever even if you read the book from front to back.

WORST COMMUNICATOR EVER!! She puts in the syllabus that the forums that she posts are used for participation points (which I did all of them) and still received a 56/100 on participation. When I asked her about it, she said you should have posted twice on each every week THIS WAS NOT IN THE SYLLABUS!! Everything is inconsistent and does not care

DO NOT TAKE HER! She gives the most inconsistent and confusing tests. The way she words the questions and answers sets students up for failure. DO NOT EXPECT HER TO GIVE FULL PARTICIPATION. I completed all but 4 forums and received a 50/100 in participation points and when I emailed her should would not explain her grading process . TERRIBLE PROF.

Great teacher! There were little readings and videos to watch before you did the discussion posts (on average, 3ish). There are 4 exams that are not proctored (the exams are straightforward if you read up on the material given). You also have homework and 4 surveys. She should not have such a low rating she was an amazing and easy teacher!
