This class was the worst experience of my life. She was very unclear and disorganized. She marked points off everywhere without any reasoning, then gave us a final project with no rubric. When you go into her office hours she doesn't really seem to know what's happening. It would have been better if we had a book and the class wasn't "flipped".

Lecture examples and homework far simpler than test. Tests are insanely hard. Turned a straightforward class that I was looking forward to into an absolute nightmare. The textbook is the most incomprehensible thing I've ever read and to top it off she skips all over in the book. I would rather buy a decent book than use the free one they had us use

Classes were unorganized and marginally helpful while homework is hard, unhelpful for tests, and turned in on blackboard in a terrible, annoying way. Her course relies on you reading a book that clarifies nothing when it comes to the equations presented. She does not post lecture videos for this semester and instead just uses problems that a chimp could solve as examples. Her exams are made so if you don't understand the problem and have the focus of Jesus himself, you will not finish the exam.

For this class she expects you to read from the book and teach yourself but she provides a small amount of examples that she makes really easy for herself. If her example is not written out on her paper she is unsure if it is correct. The exams are time crunched and based on answers alone and provide no points to work unlike every other teacher.

She is a very kind professor, but I had a very hard time teaching myself since there was NO lecture videos and we were expected to learn from the book. The online exams hardly resembled anything we learned and I feel like there was just not enough resources to fully grasp this class.

Bad professor, teaches the material but not in depth and not good compared to other professor's such as Oleg. Poor exam writing in my opinion, nice professor but you will be teaching yourself a lot.

Jenny's teaching style took a week or so to get used to, but she's good at what she does. Instead of just talking at you, she works through examples and explains concepts during class. There's quizzes each week, but she gives you the answers at the end of class. She also gives a lot of partial credit on exams, so it's pretty hard to fail them

Jenny was an amazing professor to have because she made her teaching style, which is example-heavy and overlooks a lot of conceptual learning, adaptable and easy to understand. She was a fun person to learn from, giving in person examples as well. Id take her again, but Id say you need to attend every day and supplement your learning as well.

Jenny has a different style of teaching. She does not have homework and instead of lectures, we work problems as a class while her and a TA roam the room answering questions. This means that there is very little exam prep built in, and you will need to either get a really good grasp from the few worked problems, or study hard solo. It worked for me

Jenny is a good prof. that genuinely cares about the students. There is no graded HW, but that does NOT mean you don't have to do HW on your own. The people that say that the tests are hard and have unexpected problems are the ones that didn't work through the suggested problems. If you put in the work with Jenny you will be just fine.

Jenny provides more than enough materials to be extremely successful in the course. Attending class, even though it isn't required, is a must. As long as you keep up with provided study materials, the class is much easier. She is super nice and energetic, and always available for help.

Best professor I have ever had. She doesn't give homework, so you need some self-discipline in order to learn the material before the exam. 30% of the grade was free as long as you attended class on Wednesday and took the weekly quizzes that she gave the answers too.

Jenny is a great prof to have, 10/10, if you show up to class and pay attention, she'll make it very easy to get through this class and is more than willing to meet with students after class or do anything to make sure all their questions are answered, also makes it very easy to pay attention as she is always full of energy.

I would rather end my own life than take her class again. Beyond difficult, beyond vague, basically teaches the bare minimum in lecture and has an abundance of errors in not only her lectures but her homework as well. She acts like a child when you go to her lecture and in general a horrible professor

Be aware if you take one of her classes. She's intolerant of anything remotely resembling criticism. She is also less qualified to teach ANY classes than most of the grad students at ISU based solely on her completed coursework. I would not recommend

Hands down the worst Professor I have ever had. Seems nice but is all over the place. I took AERE321 with her and since we were aero when she got busy with everything, she had she would not post lecture notes despite asking for a week only to post after the exam. Asked us what we want on the exam just to put everything we asked not to have on it.

In AerE321 it took 10 people who are top of our class (NASA kids) 8 hours to do 1 homework together. (They timed it ). We had to solve a 12x12 matrix on homework which a computer simulation normally does. On the exam 8x8. The following semester with another professor the max they did was 4x4.

InAERE 321 she told us she made the exam too long and just to do problems 1 and 2 out of 5. So we all spend all our time doing 1 and 2 thinking the rest would not be graded or something. Just to get our exams back and she grades it out of 5. Our class average was like a 20/50. To compensate she would relook at our exams and noone got any points bac
