I have never liked psychology, but this professor got me interested in psychology. She is knowledgeable, honest and caring. Easy A if u attend all the classes and do your tests. Also, she is nice to look at. :)

this was the only class i looked forward to, take her you will learn and have fun at the same time, its very laid back, you dont need a book just your brain, its not hard either, easy A if you apply yourself.

One of my favorite teachers, she's a very nice, cheerful person. She has a review class before every test and goes over almost everything that will be on the test, so as long as you show up and take good notes it's hard to fail. Their isn't much homework and her lectures are fun and interesting.

She is wonderful... her notes are on ecampus... she is very nice has a scense of humor... Her reviews is exactly what will be on the test!!!

i love this class!! i learn so much in her class!!! the notes are straight off ecampus!! but i rather just taking like an ipad and write notes there, but she doesnt like any type of electronic device when in that class. so NO laptop can be there!!! she will ask you to come to the front and use it! but overall shes a great teacher!! :]

She takes random attendance for extra credit throughout the semester. Her lecture notes are on ecampus and she is a very animated and nice teacher! I used the book just to clarify her notes but everything on the test was on her notes plus what she says in lecture about the videos we watch in class!

She reviews over the test material before the test. And its exactly what's on the test. Her paper is hard, but she walks you through it. She gives you a lot of extra credit. Attendance is not mandatory. She always smiles! and gives no homework...as i remember. And she treats us randomly with food!

No book...just powerpoints. Tests are easy! She goes over the review! Treats the class! very charming and happy. The class was soo fun and easy that I made over the total points I could get in that class.No homework or quizzes. She's straight forward and teaches by letting us students discuss really interesting topics.

I completed this class online during a flex term and I was completely overwhelmed at first. I spent a lot of time reading. She offers 10 points of extra credit. As long as you follow her expectations and complete everything on time then you will be fine. I ended up with a 97.25!! I would definitely take her again for another psych class.

Professor Jones was super nice and sweet and always wore nice outfits. Occasionally she wears baseball caps, which is unusual for woman folk from my generation, but she is a kind soul.

I took Lifespan Psych with her over Summer 2 and absolutely loved it! She's hilarious and she knows how to teach in a way you understand and can definitely connect with her students. Take her, you won't regret it and I promise you you'll love her class! She's just so amazing, I don't think words can describe what a fabulous professor she really is.

Jeni is the best! Handles every tough topic with grace. You can't help but be put in a good mood when you are around her. Her review days are great, and she gives a ridiculous amount of extra credit. I had 10-15 extra credit points for every test. Don't buy the textbook though. You won't use it at all. Little to no homework besides extra credit.

LOVED HAVING HER AS A TEACHER! If you want a class that doesn't require a book, then she is perfect. If given the opportunity I would take her again. Class has a few tests that she gives a good review to, as well as a couple article summations and journal assignments. All of which she gives clear directions to, and answers any questions. take her.

She is so sweet and hilarious. Class was very easy and straightforward. Not many assignments at all and very fair grading on exams -- will give partial credit on short answer. Jenny keeps class interesting and is very easygoing and fun. And you do not need book never opened it!

Just finished her summer 2 class for Psychology and hands down an awesome teacher! She is fast and reliable to emails and replies within 24 hours. She is very clear cut on what is said on her syllabus, if you follow that criteria you are hands down guaranteed an A(and do well on the online tests). The class is really easy in my opinion.

Dr. Jones has a broad knowledge of psychology, and it shows in all the classes she teaches. We had 3 tests and 2 short essays and that was it. She offers SO MUCH extra credit that if you get a bad grade it's probably your own fault. She's not a tough grader and she's fun in class. Just study the powerpoints and the tests won't be difficult.

If you get anything less than an A its all on your shoulders. Professor was a hilarious teacher and some what dingy. She says the book is mandatory but please dont buy it everything you need is in the slides.

I took Dr. Jones' online psych class - not self paced. Textbook required for onling access code. Exam and chapter readings due every other day for 8 weeks. 4 discussion boards. Syllabus lays out all due dates and grading criteria. She offers extra credit opportunities. I enjoyed her class and would definitely recommend her as an instructor.

I took her online, follow the syllabus to a T and you'll do fine. Homework is every other day and it is time consuming, tests are from the homework and the text book you do have to read a lot, but do the work, participate in discussion boards, and turn your paper in on time and you'll get an A. All grades are updated right away except one paper.

Ms. Jones is very lenient when it comes to assignments and things like that. She will make sure you don't fail. I started off with a D- and ended the class with an A. The work is doable but you do have work hard for your grade and make sure you understand the material. Very easy A! 10/10 would recommend!

I can't say enough good things about her! She really makes lectures feel like you're just having a conversation with a friend. You do need to study for exams, but she goes over everything that will be on them the class before. Exams are in class. Get ready for a potluck at the end of the semester!

I actually enjoyed this class. There is a lot of work however it is manageable if you work off the syllabus. I took the fast track course and managed to not miss any assignments. Great experience with this professor but pay attention to the deadlines as my class was not self pace.

Dr. Jones in amazing! Her lectures are always interesting and she will make you laugh SO HARD. Lots of videos. Instructions for short papers and free response exams are very clear. She offers tons of extra credit too! However, she has strong opinions and sometimes tries to push them on students. Also, don't be late to class! Overall, pretty fun :)

It was extremely easy if you read the chapters and take notes. There is 16 chapters and 16 quizzes for each chapter with 10 questions! There's four discussion boards and no papers/essay. I would suggest using a planner for due dates because it is a lot of homework/chapters to read and each have due dates!

Took for 2316, 2319 +2306. Solid choice. Basically the same class every time -different book/prompts. One LearnSmart ass. and 10 Q. quiz per chap. - these are self-paced. 4 disc. boards w/ 2 responses each that come quarterly. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS for them and you'll have no problems. Reachable and kind but uninvolved. Basically teaching yourself.

Her syllabus makes her seem kind of abrasive but if you email her she is usually very nice, at least in my experience. As long as you keep up with the suggested schedule you will be fine in the class. Learnsmart activities are annoying but are helpful with retention.

Prof. Jones gave really good topics in the discussion boards. I took this class online but I felt the warmth from her criteria, especially the ones about happiness that will forever stick to me. I am taking her second class as an elective because her first class that much fun. Self-paced too so bring your discipline and you will pass.

Took her 8 week Social Psych course online, felt skeptical but didn't regret it in the end. All in all, good experience. All the work available from the start, and due at the end of the semester. 16 chapters, assignments, and quizzes, all of which are straight forward and do-able. Easy A, just do your work.

Professor Jones is a 10/10 in terms of being friendly and passionate about teaching. One of the most interesting and knowledgeable classes you'd take at DCCCD. Work depends on a few assignments mostly, 3 exams, and some Journal summaries. Do not miss any assignment because you will not get a good grade. The class however was amazing. Take it!

I took Jones for psychology. she is passionate about her course. She told a lot of interesting stories about her down home country roots and how she grew up in a holler and learned psychology by reading word books not on no YouTube. She's a hoot when she gets agoin on about this thing and another.

She gives a review with everything you need to know a day before the exam and there's plenty of extra credit just in case. There is only 5 grades for the entire semester.

Self paced class, assignments can take up to an hour to complete but very easy as long as you're able to keep track with doing your assignments. I would 100% take again easiest A.

Professor Jones is one of the best teachers out there! Class is step up for you to understand all the material. There are 20 exams, but they are after chapter reading you take a 10 question exam on that chapter! This class is a guaranteed A+ if you read the material and do the discussions.

I took her 8 week course. I felt that she gave a lot of "busy" work. You will complete an assessment for each chapter within the course book and quizzes, 4 discussions and a final paper was due at the end of the course however, the format was not an essay format it was more of a report but it's pretty easy.
