She is a great teacher who incorporates a lot of funny stories into her teaching. Jennifer is also very good at responding to emails and is very helpful inside and outside of class!

She is extremely nice and helpful. She knows psychology well and teaches clearly. The essays are tough but she helps you to be successful on them. I enjoyed learning from her and I would recommend her to others.

OMG! Professor Jones hands down is the best teacher at GCU. She is amazing, there is no way that you can fail her class unless you are praying to God for a failing grade. She is beyond helpful and she really focuses on teaching her students about their field of study. She allows students to do mock counseling sessions and proves great feed back.

Professor Jones, was my favorite professor my freshman year, she made psychology super fun and interesting, even though it was my 7am class it wasn't hard to wake up and go to it because it was fun and I actually looked forward to what we were learning that day, she is not a hard grader she just expects effort to be put forth.

The class is super fun and you are likely to get a good grade if you put the effort in. Take notes of the chapters for the quizzes and you'll get an A. There is extra credit on the quizzes, so if you miss one or two you will probably still do well. She tell you exactly what she expects from the assignments and is always there to help if you ask.

She is an amazing teacher who really explains all the concept and uses examples that are better to understand. She is always there to help and will send out reminders of when assignments are due.

I really enjoyed this class. She was funny, engaging, and very personable, with real-life applications often coming from her experience. She was helpful w/ feedback, and graded relatively easily. She also often did homework assignments in class, making them easy. Her attendance was based on sporadic in class work, so skipping class was a gamble.

Dr. Jones is the best Psychology professor ever. She will teach you everything you need to know to pass her class. She is very caring and kind. Ms. Jones is the most chill and approachable professor I've had so far. It's super easy to make an A in her class. There are no tests. She tells you exactly what to write in your notes, and you'll use them on quizzes that you'll have every other week. Overall an excellent professor with tons of stories and personal comparison to her lectures. Showing up to the class early is partially rewarding as well, as she'll put on "Just For Gags" or "The Baby Bachelor/Bachelorette" to simply enjoy the time before class besides awkward silence. The assignments she gives as well are easy as well.

I couldn't ask for a better professor. She gives us open-note tests and lots of feedback on our assignments. Her grading is not difficult at all, often times she is lenient on the tests she gives out. She makes class fun and amazing. Personally, she makes me forget about the boring classes I went to before hers. Trust me, you will want to have her.

The quizzes cover a lot of material at once but if you go in with the IA's for a study session you'll do just fine. Handwritten notes allowed on quizzes and you don't HAVE to read the textbook but it's helpful. Lectures are interesting and she tries to make them interactive.

I really LOVED Professor Jones. She is such a transparent person and can truly connect to each and everyone of her students. I wish they would cut down on class size so that one on one could be applied, but she is open to after hours. I learned so much and it has made me think about changing majors becasue of her teaching.

Very fun class. I enjoyed coming to this class in the mornings. She likes to show funny videos before class to juts get us all laughing. Dr Jones was great! I had her my very first semester at GCU and she is exactly what you would picture when you think fun psych teacher! She literally made pans of brownies for the entire 100 person lecture hall at the end of the semester. She is so sweet and makes the class fun, and very easy grader.

I had used remind to text her about a homework assignment at 2:30 am and she responded within a few minutes, like who does that?

Professor Jones was amazing. She is so caring and willing to help all her students whenever needed. I had to miss almost a month of classes and she was super understanding and worked with me. The assignments are pretty straightforward; there were only two papers the whole semester. Quizzes were open notes and she often offers extra credit on them.

This professor teaches so well and really cares about her students. I was out for 2 weeks sick and she helped me gain my participation points back. I went to class probably 50% out of the semester and still ended with an A

trust me you want to take this professor over anyone else. shes such a good person, & genuinely cares about her students & makes herself reachable. youre allowed handwritten notes on quizzes & she walks around and helps you get the right answer if youre stuck. all her lectures use personal experience/stories that helped content stick in my head.

Professor Jones was by far one of my favorite professors. She genuinely cares about students and wants them to succeed in her class. She also uses personal stories to make psychology super interesting and engages students a lot. Definitely take her class, it was one of the classes I actually looked forward too.

Dr. Jones is a fantastic professor. She really cares about student success and will go the extra mile to make sure you understand the content in class. Dr. Jones goes through and modifies assignments to ensure student success, and establishes clear grading criteria. She is incredibly caring and absolutely brilliant.

She was amazing! by far the best professor i have had. Her lectures are very entertaining and her work is super easy and clear. She does a lot of group work, and uses inquizitive for homework. She cares about the success of her students and makes it easy for everyone to get an A. Very understanding and caring. Would love to have her again.

She involves her life stories into the lectures that bring the topic to life. As well as involving the class to hands on activities and group works. You hardly ever work alone on assignments. But if you do she gives good feedback on your work.

She was super entertaining and fun to have. I always felt engaged and prepared for class. I never felt behind.

Really good professor overall

Dr. Jones lectures every class and there are group projects every once in a while. We do have a text every Monday but it should only be around 15-30 mins because it's on 1 chapter in the textbook each time. She is pretty chill but being in class is very necessary or else you might loose all your participation points for that topic.

Professor Jones was the best Professor I had this semester. Her class was extremely easy and she worked hard to make sure all of her students had the opportunity to thrive. She made assignments easier and was extremely clear on her grading a feedback. Professor Jones cares about her students in and out of the class.

She is an overall great professor that talks about her own personal experiences to connect to what she is teaching. Most of the time you do not even realize she is lecturing and feels like youre just listening to a story. The few group projects were worth a huge amount of points, so make sure you show up and put effort into them.

Dr. Jones is an amazing professor. She truly cares about her students and their well-being which is reflected in how she lectures. She and the IAs would always give good feedback on assignments. All assignments are done in class, and there is a lot of group work. But overall she is a great lecturer and an enjoyable class to be in.

Professor Jones was an absolute angel. I looked forward to her lectures, because she always made everything so fascinating. She truly cares about her students and will give you 100% of her attention if you are in need of help. Occasional group projects, but they were only in class assignments, so it wasn't a big deal.

AMAZING! She lectures with passion/excitement! I looked forward to class. She & the IA were helpful with academics/campus policy/expectations. Nearly guaranteed 100 on all quizzes through the textbook taken outside of class! Some group work. Most of the large assignments were adapted to in-class. You will not find yourself studying for this class.

Dr. Jones was amazing! I loved going to her class and I learned so much because she connected her lectures back to personal experiences which made them memorable. She was kind and passionate about her students so I would highly recommend!

She is nice. Lectures are always interesting and engaging. We do have a lot of group work and assignments however, at least once a week. They take a lot of time to complete and do, so there is a lot of homework. Be sure you find a good group of people to work with, they will stay the same the whole semester. Otherwise enjoyed this class a lot.

Dr. Jones was amazing for PSYCH102. Her quizzes are open note, and the group projects were fairly easy. Make sure to go to class because she doesn't tell you when she's grading participation and one day is the whole 20 points for that topic. Her lectures are amazing and uses personal example to help you understand the material. take her!

Incredible class. Lectures were always very engaging. The professor has an amazing grasp of psychology and sees her students as people. Very down to earth and wise, she has amazing nuggets of knowledge and will genuinely help you both with her class and in college life. Kind at heart.

Prof. Jones is down-to-earth and makes lectures engaging. While there's a lot of group work, unstuck study was super helpful for study prep. Her personal anecdotes are interesting, but can sometimes veer off-topic. Overall, a solid class if you stay on top of the work.

Jones is quite rigid with her assignments and attendance, but if you are a good student and apply yourself her class is great! She does do random story-times but they do connect back to the topic. Her class is not one you can skip but I like her style of teaching, she often shows videos to explain concepts which was nice than 90 minutes of lecture.

Though there were many group projects, they were in place of the long papers we were supposed to do for the course, which was nice. The class was very engaging, and Dr. Jones will help or talk to you if needed. She cares about her students and their success.

Dr. Jones is a great professor and shows a lot of expertise of her knowledge. She can get a little sidetracked at times during classes but she always manages to get back to the original topic. There are quite a few group projects, but they aren't terribly difficult. Her lectures are fun and the textbook is actually interesting.

Dr. Jones is a great professor! She is knowledgeable and her course is not extremely difficult. It is quiz based instead of exams which is really nice. And she makes her lectures easy to understand.

She's very knowledgeable and has a lot of life experience with different cases. If you ever need to step out she's very understanding, and she genuinely loves the subject and her students. I would 100% take another class with her if possible

Runs the whole time. She is knowledgable of her field. Relatively chill. Expect group projects in class. Plus side is there's barely any hw outside of class. Particiaption SUCKs the way she does it. Professor Jones was overall very enjoyable, and she cares deeply about her students. She is also a. VERY easy grader. If you take good notes for quizzes, show up, and do your work, it's almost impossible to not get an A. The only thing to be wary of is that her class is very group-project heavy. Overall, would 100% take her again.

She is very open and caring. The class wasn't hard as long as you show up and work with those around you. Participation is based on random days so it's good to go to all classes.

Take Professor Jones if you can! She's funny, kind, and easy to follow. Lots of group projects, but you have a say in who you're with, generally. Participation is over a random day on each Topic, so you have to show up in case that's the day she picks to grade. She plays matchmaker, so if you're trying for that ring by spring, could be useful.

The professor was very engaging and a great teacher. She is clear and has very applicable stories, which make the class more fun. Definitely a sweet person and she involves everyone.

Dr. Jones is such an amazing teacher. She is super easy to get a hold of outside of class and is really amazing at making you feel heard and seen. She makes the lecture super entertaining and is also trying to get the class involved. I would recommended her to anyone who wasn't sure who to take.
