Best lab instructor EVER! She is probably the nicest science teacher at KSU. I took her for saturday lab, and I would do it again, even at 8 AM! Very easy grader, so if you show up, do the lab, and actually try, you WILL make an A! I look back fondly on this class since I'm taking upper levels now. Without a doubt the best lab I've ever had.
Probably the most easy and laid back 1211 lab instructor at KSU. Not a tough grader at all, and is SO helpful. I wish she taught lecture, because she's that awesome! Her pre-lab lectures are very concise, and at times are more informative than the actual lectures I heard in class. Put in the work (not much) and you WILL make an A!!!!!
I had her for lab, but I heard she's teaching lecture! You guys are SO lucky. She was such a great lab instructor. Very easy grader, and you could tell she was happy to be there and help you out. She was pretty funny, and made Saturday lab a pleasure to attend. I can't recommend her enough. Take her!!!!!
She is a really good teacher. She is very helpful and basically dumbs things down if you do not understand something. She also gives extra credit for each test you take and it helps a lot.
She reads straight off the powerpoint every class, crazy amounts of masteringchem, requires you to summarize every section of every chapter before the test (20+ pages of notes), kind of seems like she would rather be anywhere else but class. 4 tests, any can be replaced by final. She is a good professor & very nice, just requires a lot of work.
Professor Kelley is one of my most favorite professors, she is super sweet! Her class is very easy, she demonstrates how to do every lab before class begins, and she gives you the formulas for each problem. There are quizzes for every lab that you have to keep track of though.
Miss. Jennifer is the best lab teacher ever! If you are blessed enough to get a spot in her lab or chemistry lab, TAKE IT! She has office hours if you don't understand the assignment. Lab reports are due before class starts, and returning it a week late only ducts 10% points. Only a final, 14 easy Pre-lab quiz, and lowest score is dropped.
Not only is Professor Kelley great at explaining concepts, but she is also very kind. She takes you step by step through labs and concepts pertaining to them and it really makes chem so much easier to understand. She is also available outside of class for help during her office hours. As long as you do the work, there's no way you could fail.
Kelley is the BEST general chem lab professor by a long shot. I actually enjoyed coming to my 8pm Wednesday Night Lab. Very laid back- Easy A!!!
Shes a very nice teacher! thoroughly explains the lab before you start and doesn't mind if you have questions she will answer them without feeling inconvenienced. She is also kind of funny and has a relaxed teaching style. Always willing to help during her office hours and makes an 8pm class so much more worth it. Take her you wont regret it!
Professor Kelley is the best professor I had this semester. She is a genuinely caring person and wants the best for her students. Professor Kelley is very laid back and makes students comfortable when asking questions. She also gives extra credit for every test. Do the work and you would pass her class. She also replies emails promptly.
I had Mrs. Kelley for 1211 lab and she was so amazing. I honestly learned more in her class than I did in lecture. She's so awesome I'm taking her again next semester. She's willing to help students, very patient, and has a sense of humor.
She's nice, but her tests are impossible and she doesnn't explain the concepts that are on the tests. Everybody does awful. Do not take this professor. The homework takes 3 days to finish. Incredible work load.
I had Mrs. Kelley for my second time in Chem 2 Lecture. She is amazing! She is always willing to help students and is super patient. She will help you until you understand. She posts all of her notes online, there's 4 tests, a final, and she drops a test. She gives extra credit randomly in class too. I can honestly say I enjoyed Chemistry.
Professor Kelley was a great lab instructor. She's really easy going but know what she's talking about. During lab if you have any issues, she will help. She tends to give most of the calculations for the labs on the board during lab. She's also a really chill grader.
Professor Kelly is the best! You should take her if you can and she helps you. She is very caring and gives a lot of extra credit for showing up for the lectures. She loves Chemistry and cracks silly jokes. Take her if possible!
I had Kelley for 1211 & 1212. She is an amazing professor and you can do well in her class. There is a ton of extra credit and mastering HW. The tests are crazy easy and she tells you what is on them. But bc the tests are so easy, I was blindsided by the ACS final both semesters. But you should definitely take her, you'll be glad you did.
She was definitely the best lab professor I've had. Her grading is pretty easy and straightforward, and she is very willing to help you with the labs. When I missed classes due to family issues, she was very understanding and helped me make up the grades. She saved me. Absolutely take her if you can get into her class.
PLEASE TAKE HER! You would not regret it! She helps you step by step with Chem labs, she is very understanding and caring and helps break the material down for students to understand. She also gives you the answers to the lab and solves your problems if you cannot do it yourself. She is a real gem! I would take her until I graduate lol
Ms. Kelley is a genuine person. She is a fair grader. She required us to read the chapters and submit summaries for 10% of our grade, which was actually helpful. I would take her again, for sure. Attendance isn't mandatory, but she offers extra credit in class, so I recommend going.
Jennifer Kelley is an extremely understanding person and does her best to accommodate for her students. She gives many opportunities for extra credit and does a great job at preparing you for the test. I would definitely take her again for 1212
TAKE HER! She was the best teacher I've had at kennesaw so far. She gives you plenty of opportunities for extra credit on exams and final. She helps you understand the material as well. Attendance isn't necessary but she gives out random extra credit at the end of class sometimes so I would go just to be sure I get all the points I can!
Really great professor! She is very helpful and helps you out when you need it. I would highly recommend taking her, even if you're not strong in chemistry!
Easy A. She's really laid back and cares a great deal about her students. She understands that some in the class have to take it as a gen ed, so she doesn't make it unnecessarily difficult.
Found it hard. Too much work for a this class
Professor Kelley is so wonderful! She likes her class to be fun, so she tries hard to make it that way. She gets people to come in to our class and talk to us and always gives class time for assignments. A real gem!!!!!!
She made the seminar class a breeze. The workload was not much. Maybe one or two assignments a week. Gives plenty of time to do work. Reviews for quizzes. Overall , amazing.
Just show up do the lab write something down and she will give you an A. If you have questions email her and she will email you in a timely manner. She is super nice and caring and doesnt take off for stupid things. Just do the work and quiz and you will get an A
Take for lab, she is really easy and helpful. Keeps the lab lectures short and only says the information you need to know.
Easy class if you put in the work. Chapter summaries over each chapter so youll need the book. Mastering Chemistry hw over each chapter. All tests are multiple choice with around 20 questions, just make sure you go t class because the material is hard. She does go fast in her lectures, but gives random extra credit if youre in class.
great prof! I took her M/W/F lecture-but attendance was not mandatory. You are required to do a chapter summary and mastering chemistry HW for each chap (DO THEM) There are 5 tests total- she offers 5 extra credit points for each test for coming to class (you just dont know what day she will give it) Gives study guides for tests- makes them easy!
Very nice, very smart, and very caring. She makes herself easily accessible outside of class multiple times a week if you need help with the lab reports. The class is still a lot of hard work (being a chemistry class) but she'll help you succeed if you seek her out. I would DEFINITELY take her again.
Prof. Kelley is the most amazing gen chem professor at KSU. She explains things really well and relates them to real world material. Hwrk on mastering chem. Practice tests has several questions which end up on the actual test. Very loving and caring. Pushed a homework deadline because it fell on one of the classmates B-Day. Lots of extra credit.
The class might have been better taken during a full semester, but DON'T take it over the summer. Seriously had nights that I stayed up until 2am preparing for tests and still only got C's. Her reviews before tests are the list of key terms, concepts, and formulas from the book. You might as well stay at home and take it online.
Super unorganized and she gets corrected ALOT. I don't see where all of her great reviews are coming from. She has a really obscure grading system and she makes the class more difficult than it needs to be. This class could be interesting but Professor Kelley teaches with "death by powerpoint" and you can't trust anything she says.
Very funny lady and this is easily the best teacher to take for first year seminar.
It's KSU 1101 so it's going to be boring. Professor Kelley made it enjoyable and an easy A. Do the projects and pick good group members
I love her. This class is definitely not easy and you will have to study. But she makes class fun and is a great teacher. 5 bonus points per test, lots and lots of HW (really helpful tho), great practice tests. Drops lowest test. I did great on tests bc I studied hard & went to class, but not everyone did so well. Not an easy A but a good choice.
The best professor I've ever had. She is the nicest lady ever and is always in such a good mood! She tells jokes to make the class less stressful! Not a lot of work and very easy to pass!
Professor Kelley is the best Chemistry professor at KSU. She does an amazing job teaching the material and you will not regret taking her. She offers bonus points and lots of help if needed.
Professor Kelley is a wonderful lab professor! She thoroughly explains each lab and helps when needed. This lab requires a lot of work and effort, but Professor Kelley is always there to help and work with you through lab reports. I personally thought that the lab final was the hardest exam I have ever taken. You've just gotta study hard for it.
As a dual enrollment student (junior in high school), Chemistry 1211 was very difficult and required a LOT of effort and studying for me, but Professor Kelley was always willing to help. She truly cares about her students and wants them to excel in her class. If you take her class, I would highly recommend taking advantage of her office hours.
She is super nice and always available to help you. I could tell that she wants everyone to do well so she was very understanding of problems.
What a fabulous professor. The class is really interesting and I had a great time under her instruction. Im really pleased how the class ran. Her lectures were fun and exams are challenging. Show effort and you will pass!
Professor Kelly was the best professor I have ever had! She's dedicated to making sure her students are successful & gives extra credit. Lectures can tend to be boring at times, but she will throw in personal stories or an example to make something make sense. She makes difficult topics somewhat easier to understand. Highly suggest taking her class
Professor Kelly is really sweet! I took this course over the summer and it was really difficult. She uses masteringchemistry and uses the textbook. The final is from the ACS book. She does give extra credit for each test.
Easily the best professor Ive had this semester. You will rarely have stay the entire time and she is more than willing to stay to answer any questions that STEM majors have. Sweetest person youll ever met btw!!!!!!
Professor Kelley is great! I took her for chem1211 and chem1212 and got a high A in both. She is very kind and wants her students to succeed. You have to write summaries over weekly readings in the textbook, but overall not that time consuming. Gives random extra credit for coming to class, even though it is not mandatory. TAKE HER FOR CHEM!!!!!!!!
Professor Kelley is very nice and caring. The class is difficult but her tests are relatively easy and she provides practice exams. Overall, she is a solid choice and I would say she is very accessible. There was a lot of mastering hw but it honestly did help comprehension. Something(s) was due every week so manage your time!
Dr. Kelley is very kind and understanding. The course content is difficult however her exams were easy since she provided practice exams reflecting the actual exam. I felt underprepared for the ACS final. I felt like the content was taught at a much more surface level than needed for the final exam. Take her for a basic understanding of the course.
Four tests, weekly summaries and homework, and a final. She gives extra credit opportunities. I won't say an easy A but you definitely can get one as long as you put your effort into it! She explains and helps you! Don't see why you wouldn't take her. I would buy the ACS booklet for the finals ... just be warned, it was kinda difficult.
She was a very good lecturer. She required the book because she made assignments called summaries to help out our grade. You just summarize the chapter we covered that week. Homework is harder than the test. She always gives formula sheets. She gives extra credit for tests. Showing up can be a way to get extra credit. Doing problems in the book too
Best chem teacher at KSU! Never take Janet Shaw! I failed with Shaw and passed easily with Kelley! Her tests are easy from the material she teaches and also the extra credit actually makes a difference on the tests! Homework is a bit tough, but it is mastering chemistry so you have to expect that no matter what.
DR. KELLEY IS THE BEST CHEM TEACHER AT KSU. Repetition is the answer. Practice over and over until you remember the steps so that when the test comes it will be easy. She gives extra credit on random days so COME TO CLASS. She is nice and caring and wants you to pass. Don't take anyone else.
super easy and understanding!
Professor Kelley cares about all of her students. It is a super easy class. I had to take this class because it was apart of my learning community. She understands that you don't willingly want to take this class so she makes the assignments fairly easy.
Professor Kelley is very sweet and caring. You can tell she cares about her students a-lot, and its really appreciated especially considering i took her SCM class. The guest speakers did get boring at some point but the class and assignments are easy.
TAKE PROF KELLEY. I loved her so much and she actually made chemistry enjoyable. She cares so much about her students and helps if you do not understand something. Her review sessions help SO much on tests. She spends a lot of time making sure everyone is comfortable with material. Genuinely one of my favorite professors so far.
Mrs. Kelley was the BEST. She made chem so easy and she truly cares about input from students and making sure you succeed in chemistry. They were reading quizzes, but they weren't hard at all. There is weekly homework, but this is a college course. I would take her for all chemistry's if I was able to. Highly recommend her.
Lectures arent that helpful maybe cause it was an online class. She does offer extra credit. Other than that alright professor but not the best.
She has a reading quiz before the class starts, and then only goes over the material we've just read. No learning ever. Meant for those who struggle with chem. Practice problems are few and far between, with examples done messily. For someone who's strong with chem, this class was a disaster. I stopped attending after a few weeks and taught myself.
I made an 94 but that is because I taught myself. She recites the textbook, sometimes reading straight out of it. That is all she does. She offers no additional enhancement to what we read in our books. She is a very lazy grader and any manual grades from JANUARY ARE BEING PUT IN APRIL. Extra credit tho. And quizzes @ beginning of every class
Reading quiz at the beginning of every class. She doesn't really teach during lectures. I stopped attending classes in March and just taught myself. Smartworks is mainly what made the class unbearable. Smartworks grades weren't synching with d2l so I didn't know what my grade was until April. She didn't want to put grades in until this month.
Professor Kelley is really sweet . You're going to have to work for your grade in this class because chem is NOT easy. However, she is always willing to answer questions and help you out if you need it. She offers extra credit. We had daily reading quizzes which were an easy 100% and open note.
Do NOT take her. Her lectures are boring and confusing at best. She never puts grades on time. Her tests are just awful, and she is never consistent on anything - expect quizzes and tests being moved or cancelled at the last second. Smartwork5 is pure garbage for homework, and she uses Lockdown Browser for everything. Avoid her class at all costs.
I would never take this class again and am unsure how her rating is so high. I will give the benefit of the doubt that maybe its because everything is online. She seems like a nice lady but her lectures left me clueless most of the time. Reading quiz before every class. very slow with grading , ridiculous test. basically taught myself Just BAD!
Be ready to teach yourself
Dr. Kelley didn't prepare students properly for her exams and additionally it takes her a very long time to answer questions. She responses to questions very badly by not answering the question completely or giving an answer that is blatantly obvious and not what I am asking. I passed with an A because of AP experience and youtube videos. PREPARE!
Prof Kelley is the best chemistry professor at KSU. If you want to pass, take her. Other professors have exams where you have to draw molecules and reactions, but she doesn't. Go to class and you'll do great. She makes everything as easy as possible for us while meeting KSU requirements. Take her!
This class was my 13th reason. The class itself shouldnt have been that hard but she made things complicated because she didnt put grades in until the last minute and didnt give clear instructions. There was also almost no consistency with the tests. Most of the class felt very unprepared for the final. She also barely answers her emails.
Did the lab over the summer. We used Labflow & bought a kit. She wasn't that accessible outside of class, but that's probably becuz she wanted to enjoy her summer like everyone else. You need to be an independent student to succeed in this class. She drops the lowest lab and quiz score. She's very to the point, but sometimes a bit scatterbrained.
I took this class over the summer and it was so rigorous. I learned more on YouTube than from Kelly. She is very caring as a person, but she cannot teach. Do NOT take her if you want an A in this class.
This was a summer class, so I had only 3 tests, 5 or so quizzes and a final. She teaches using her own notes she makes and assigns homework with smartwork. every thing is MC and everything that appears in them is covered either by her lecture and the hw. tests and final are lockdown but not quizzes
she didnt answer questions clearly nor appeared organized. She was very nice and ready to work with you if there were issues and if she decided to respond. For me, the lab was ahead of the lecture materials so it was very difficult and she was not good at giving directions. there were issues w labflows grading and she did not always resolve them
10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. stay clear of her for all classes. she is the most unorganized teacher I've ever met. Many students received the wrong final grade because she was too lazy to submit all grades before the finalization period, so many received zeros on very big assignments. administrators have yet to fix this issue for several classes
Very hard to get hold of if you need help or need to talk. Loads up severe amounts of homework when the class requires enough time to study as it is. Tests are weighted very heavily and homework does not accurately represent lectures or notes. Lectures are broad and not always helpful.
This is the worst professor I have ever had a class with in my 3 years at kennesaw state. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER. There is no attendance required but she is the least professional and least communicative preofessor I have had. Will make up assignments after drop add that are English class worthy in length for notes.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF. Unless you want to struggle, I highly encourage not taking her. She does a very poor job teaching the material, she cancels class a lot, and changes the due dates and what you have to get done weekly. She's impossible to get a hold of or hear back from. She makes you take notes thats like a English essay. wouldn't take again
Nope, keep searching. Definitely something you don't want to experience.
What ever you do avoid this women like the plague. She has changed how her class works 3 times in one semester. She complies about getting "mean" emails "criticizing" the over work load she has given us. She changed from quizzes to guide notes. Then finally after our 2nd exam switched to 250 summaries of each section in the text book.
Avoid this class, long grading times and heavy work loads. Assignments are completely unorganized and smart work is less than ideal. She changes her mind about certain weekly assignments and will either just randomly stop assigning them or just make them 20 times harder.
Unorganized. Changes workload and assignments at the last minute. She is frequently late. Does not prepare you for exams. Assumes everyone is cheating. Example week: 7 summaries, totaling 1750 words (minimum) on top of smart works homework. No consideration for work outside of her class. Her class has negatively impacted all of my classes.
Please dont fall for the rating. It says 4.3 out of 5 but I promise to god its not. This is the most unorganized class I have ever taken. Assigns the most useless homework, IE, the textbook has sections like 7.4,7.5 etc, each one of those sections you have to write a 250 word summary. She is awful at grading and responding to emails. Save yourself
Avoid this class! She is so unorganized her lectures are run on sentences. Do not listen to the overall rating on here. PLEASE
She is very disorganized and likes to often get off topic. It is almost impossible to reach her outside of class because she refuses to respond to emails. She assigned so many reading and writing assignments in a chemistry class. Her lectures are confusing and she does not really teach only goes over examples. DO. NOT. TAKE. HER.
She is extremely disorganized and scatterbrained. Waited until the end of the semester to grade anything. Unclear grading criteria, and her late submission policies are inconsistent at best. D2L is a nightmare to navigate, and her syllabus is entirely unhelpful.
She had awful organization skills. She was never clear about assignments and what she expected. Frequently late to class. Takes a long time to respond through email, if at all. Sometimes it would seem that she was making it our fault when we were confused about an assignment or missed a deadline (due to her never being clear on due dates, etc.).
This class made me hate chemistry. Although professor Kelley is very nice, her lectures make zero sense. Her exams are nothing like the practice exams. She assigns SO much homework. There was one week where we had 17 assignments due. She uses Smartwork, which is easy, but you learn nothing from it. She also never responds to emails.
Professor Kelley was a great professor. All the due dates are written on d2l, though it can be challenging to know where all the assignments belong. Just check the due dates frequently, she also reminds you of them in class. Come to class and do your work you'll be just fine.
She's really nice, but was often unprepared, and kept changing what homework we had to do during the semester, making it harder for us to do and for her to grade. Her lectures were long and boring, and for both the lecture and the lab I took her for, she graded most of the assignments the day before final grades were due. Nice but frustrating.
SCM 2000 is an easy A. This class is very straightforward when it comes to grading scale, workload, etc. Most of the work deals with a semester-long group project, but it is very easy. Although the material itself may be boring, Professor Kelley is a very nice and understanding professor. As long as you do the work, you are guaranteed an A.
Mrs. Kelley was a great scm teacher. She always answered questions in a timely manner, and did her best to make the lectures not as boring, given the material that's required. This class has lots of group projects, and she is a pretty lenient grader. She was also funny and kind, and seemed to enjoy teaching us.
I enjoyed Professor Kelley, however, her lectures mostly consisted of her going over the pages in the book. I did not find the lectures to be helpful. Instead I studied with outside resources (youtube), and still got an A. She is very nice, but will typically go off topic in class.
Really good teacher, she doesn't seem annoyed when you ask questions and don't quite understand the material. I was really able to pass just by being there for lectures. Just homework every Sunday and then tests and that's it, and as long as you have a solid understanding of the material you'll pass the tests.
Professor Kelley has amazing lectures, meaning you should prioritize attendance. Textbook reading is super good but not mandatory to get an A. She leaves plenty of time after class to talk and thoroughly reviews all questions and tests with you. Test questions are made based on her outlines posted in syllabuses.
Don't take her for chem 1. The lecture notes don't make sense. She just solves problems on a sheet of paper and only shows that on the monitor. Doesn't give any extra credit. The class average was a failing grade on my first test and she did not curve the grade. There are better professor that you can get for Chem 1.
TAKE HER! I loved this professor, the tests for me were super easy. I ended the semester with a 104, but I am good with math and chemistry. Her lectures mainly consisted of math problems, READ THE TEXTBOOK and do the homework. As long as you put in the work to study and read. Also you don't get a card for equations so yo9u have to memorize a lot.
This class in general is very easy. Almost all work was in a group and we kept the same people all semester. A lot of busy work that didn't seem to learn anything from. She was sweet and cared for everyone, but was strict about not giving extra time unless it was excused. Work was easy enough to get done on time.
This is my second time taking Professor Kelley and she truly is a great professor. Chemistry is hard but she makes her lab easier by explaining topics well and answering any and all questions. My only complaint is that you CANNOT miss a lab because there is no makeup labs, it is an automatic zero.
The entire class is just group projects, so if you don't like that you won't like the class. It's the same group all semester, which is nice, but it's still group work. Forces participation and requires no or minimal technology sometimes, which can get annoying. All grades were pretty much participation as long as you do the work.
This class is very group project-heavy. I wish we were able to choose our groups but instead, she uses a random generator to form them. She is pretty strict with the attendance and make-up policy. Honestly, this class was useless because she would lecture us about random topics such as procrastination. Overall, she is nice and pretty chill.
The entire class was basically a group project with random lectures thrown in. The groups were also randomized and if you were placed with some bad group mates you couldn't do much about it. She's nice but has a strict attendance and deadline policy.
PLEASE do not take this teacher. I took her because of her score on RMP. Prof Kelley is extremely disorganized, has no slides, and mostly talks from her memory. She expects people to read the entire chapter before coming to class, and just really just skims over topics. Also her way of excused absence is pitiful and imo disrespectful
Prof Kelley is a bit insane and squirrelly, but she provides us with notes packets that really help to understand the concepts. She's a good teacher, and really helped me understand the concepts. You'll definitely need to read some of the textbook and do a good amount of studying for the exams, but that can be said about almost any stem class
Professor Kelley is a great professor who truly cares about the success of her students. The class is very work-heavy and attendance is MANDATORY. No makeup labs or anything dropped. Come prepared & with all work done, no late work. Overall god prof.
She is a really good professor. She encourage you to ask her questions if you are struggling with the work. She hates giving bad grades.
AWFUL bro gave us a rubric for citations in which her examples did not include quotes and when I followed it she threatened to report me for plagiarism after I explained to her I followed her rubric. She also yaps too much and cares way too much about attendance; will mark u absent if u forgot to sign her sheet even though she seen u in the class.
Super nice but doesn't explain criteria very well. Rubrics are nice though but I forget they exist. She repeats stuff a lot so no excuse for not knowing what's going on. Just wish the assignments were a little spread out because they get confusing.
Professor Kelley always reminded us of the assignments due but wouldn't fully explain them. Majority of the class was confused half of the time. Most lectures were unnecessary but she does have to teach the content. Overall, easy class, but so many assignments are due at the same time. She chooses groups which can be a win or lose situation.
To be honest, I had to dig through her D2L emails to remember her name. Took her for SCM and skipped her class half of the time because it was pointless to go. Spent lots of time talking about random things. Unclear on expectations and always behind on grades. Semester long group project from week one, so good luck.
She was okay. She talked a lot during the course and she is a stickler about phones and laptops. The class itself was easy, but be prepared for group projects and presenting. She does do mandatory attendance. I will say that she was easy to talk to and did change my group when I requested to be moved. She was fine, not the worst but not the best.
Professor Kelley's lectures can be a bit disorganized, but the notes packets she provides are really helpful. While the textbook is useful, you can get by with just focusing on the lectures and doing the homework. Unstuck ai was a lifesaver for test prep!
Hated lecture, but she helped clarify a lot of the content in lab. You can tell she genuinely cares about students learning.
she is very chaotic in my opinion. There were so many big projects back to back and it was overwhelming. We had assigned groups that we had to work with for almost every project. This is not a hard class but I feel she is just not clear when giving instruction. You will be expected to attend every class and present in front of the class.
She is so sweet. She is one of the most understanding professors I ever had. Yes, you do have to come to class. Yes, there are projects you have to do, but these projects helped me.
This class was not hard at all, I never needed to get help outside of class, so I can't speak for how she is in that regard. I thought she was so funny, and everything we needed to do in the class was very clear. You are put in a group and are with those people for the semester if I remember correctly, and there are lots of group assignments.
Lab was one of my favorite classes. Attendance was required, but she let us miss one class, and it would not count. You could miss a lab assignment, and she would drop it. I would 100% take her again any day of the week.
Mrs. Kelley is a very kind person, although the LOVES to talk. Like, that woman yaps and yaps and yaps. She is a little chaotic, and she's not clear with instructions sometimes, but she is happy to help if you are confused. I thought her class was fun and I definitely recommend.
Class is much longer than necessary since she often gets sidetracked while talking. Simple assignments and easy group projects but she's not the best with understanding how AI tracking tools work. She had everyone redo an entire paper in class when some groups had a small percentage of AI found in their work (due to citations).
