Very interesting class. Teacher knows a lot about what she teaches. She is very helpful and gives many examples. Takes plenty of time to answer any questions.

Knapp really knows what she talks about and communicates ideas well. Her tests reminded me of high school multiple choice exams--very easy! The book is extremely helpful, and you'll remember many things taught from that book (Karen Hoffman's). Lecture isn't mandatory but is helpful. The book helped me score 95s+ on her tests.

Knapp was a really good teacher. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a night class, but she only kept us the full three hours for the first few weeks, then we started to get out after about 2-2.5 hours. She DOES NOT allow you to write on the exam, which was something I didn't like. Overall, I highly recommend Jennifer Knapp.

She is very good at keeping you interested throughout the entire lecture. If you take one of her night classes, she will not keep you the entire three hours most of the time. Provides note outlines that you just fill in a little bit of info on. Tests are multiple choice and not too difficult if you study the notes. Book is not used that often.

Once I learned how to study for Mrs. Knapp's class (after test 1) I aced all of her test(based off chap. terms)You are required to write the def. of all the words in each chapter, for a HW grade, so you definitely need the book (grade booster)She lectures based on the info in the book, and they are quite interesting. Highly recommended instructor. There are 4 Exams & a comprehensive Final Exam (OPEN NOTES) Tests are taken after every 6 Modules along with online Quizzes that are open booknotes for Each Module & 2 written Essays. Extra Credit can also be obtained. Attendance is vital. An outline is given to help study & tests are quite easy.

Took the class once a week for 3 hours and it was not bad. Shes interesting and keeps you awake. Has writing assignment at the end of every class, so you have to go. I was letout early almost every time. Gives great examples. I went to class without doing the long hw, just highlighted the answers in my book. Be prepared to be called on for answers!

The course this professor gave was easy to pass if you read the assigned readings and show up to class all the time. Some extra credit was offered, so I took as much as I could get. The professor has a list of questions that must be filled out before class and answered in class. She takes turns calling on different people to answer.

Although we only had class once a week and it was at night , we enjoyed going. You do the homework which is the guideline for the next lecture and it was always funny and fun to hear her banter and listen to our stories. I wish more professors were like her.

Ms. Knapp is an amazing professor! I'd register for her class now if you haven't! She's funny and her lectures are always interesting and she always has a story to relate. She makes an outline of each chapter for you to print, bring to class and fill it out as she lectures. Her exams will come straight from that. Her test are 4 chapters per exam.

Ms. Knapp is a gem. She's got a great sense of humor (which is great for human sexuality) and has homework sheets you fill in before every class that help you to participate during class. Tests aren't too hard, so if you put in effort, you'll do great. Best night class ever.

Dr. Knapp was really cool! Not many people showed up to class, but she took the time to learn our names of those who did show up. Exams were on proctoru and you needed to purchase the online textbook to do quizzes on revel, which both sucked. Her teaching style is interesting, but it wasn't horrible.

Professor Knapp is great! She provides an outline for the chapter before every lecture and lets you use a free online textbook to fill them out. A quick review of these outlines and showing up to every class should make this class an easy A. The only thing that bothered me is that she lets pointless conversations be entertained during lectures.

She allows a lot of time for asking questions but she mostly just has you read the textbook (she provides it for free if im remembering right) and then she reads off the assignments in class. Take Knapp for PSYC2005. Very easy A if you complete assignments on time and follow directions. Gives lots of bonus opportunities. No reason why you shouldn't make an A+ in this class.

Her lectures aren't mandatory, but they really help with understanding the reading material. She makes outlines for the readings and you fill them. The outlines are what guide her lectures so you can do them at home and be fine. She absolutely will cold call you if you go to class, so know where you're supposed to in your notes.

Her class is very informative. She is relatable and likes to throw in stories that relate to the subject material. The one thing I would caution you for is that tests make up a large percentage of the grade, so you want to make sure you do good on those. Overall, a good class.

I loved Professor Knapp. Her course was clear cut and her lectures were all I really needed. She explains things well and has the opportunity for extra credit. Quizzes and tests were online except for the final. She was super nice and easy to reach out to.

She likes for her students to interact with her during class and is great at giving examples to help you understand things. All tests are straightforward and she tells you what to expect. She provides an outline for every lecture which is helpful but sometimes wordy. For some chapters I had to rewrite the notes to better understand them.

I took this as a 6-9pm class so lectures were lengthy. Do the weekly assignment + quiz and go to class for the learning catalytics quizzes (participation). That only makes up 20% of your grade. Exams are averaged and worth 80%. REVIEW ASSIGNMENTS AND MAKE FLASHCARDS when studying and you should be set. Lectures are pretty entertaining. Very chill.

Jennifer Knapp made lectures very fun! She gave us an outline to do every week and along with an online quiz. Participation does matter. The only issue I had with her class was learning catalytics. If you missed a question during class you would receive half credit for that question. Attendance should not be based on accuracy.

Prof Knapp was great. Never actually met her but everything was online and she clearly set out what you needed to do which was perfect. All of her assignments were quick and easy and her class was actually pretty informative. She responded pretty fast and seemed nice if I ever had to email her.

i took this class online so i never met her but its a very easy class. 1 assignment per week and theyre not difficult at all. at max theyll take 2 hours and its mostly just reflection of yourself based on different readings from psychology websites. grading is always done on time and shes easy to contact with questions if necessary.

I loved this class. Dr Knapp made the lectures interesting & didn't just read word from word from PowerPoints. The only con is that no electronic devices are allowed. Students are required to print the outlines & bring them to class in order to take notes. She offers 2 extra cred. points on your overall final grade. The test comes from the outline.

Professor Knapp is one of my favorite professors I've ever had at LSU. Her lectures are interesting because she is so knowledgeable. Has a clutch bonus opportunity for 2 points added to final grade. Tests are a tad tricky, I made flashcards. I would take her if you're ever given the chance. I will definitely miss her class.

Shes a fun teacher to learn from but her exams aere hard and you needy to actually study more than a day in advance with a quizlet ( i am speaking from personal experience)

I love Ms. Knapp! Her exams are difficult, but as long as you pay attention in class, take as many notes as possible, and don't put off studying, you'll do just fine. And DON'T procrastinate the research paper because it is 10% of your grade. She gave small curves on the exams and drops a few quizzes. I'll definitely take her upper-levels.

Loved this class and thought the material was really interesting, and she makes lectures very entertaining. I usually don't focus well during lectures, but I was able to focus in her class. The only thing is that the notes are soooooo much, and you have to take rly good notes if you want to do well.

Prof Knapp was interesting. I enjoyed the lecture most of the time, but she could often be sort of condescending or even mean. She encouraged us to participate and then sent an email that we were spending too much time talking, so we had to stop participating. I took this online. 1 assignment per week, Very easy assignments. Some take time, but overall very easy. She is a very nice woman and very understanding. She is considerate of your other classes. I looked into taking her for another course, but it was full :( I'd recommend her. She's amazing.

Her lectures are very interesting and make learning fun. There are note outlines that you can print out that make taking notes a lot easier. As long as you study the concepts, you will pass with a high grade. There is basically no homework aside from 10 question chapter quizzes and RLR quizzes. She is a great professor and I highly recommend.

If you need an honors credit take this class. She made psych pretty interesting without making things complicated. The exams were just multiple choice with a few short answers, and she curved each one by a couple points. The research paper was annoying, but she graded it very leniently. Do not put off RLR credits until the end, just do them early.

She takes some warming up to because she has a dry sense of humor. But she is passionate about the course and seems to genuinely care about her students. My biggest issue is that the quizzes are only 10% of the grade, while the tests are 90%. It leaves little room for error on tests.

One of my favorite professors. If you have to miss class its very easy to read the textbook to get the information and her exams are straight forward if you paid attention and did the homework. Lots of test questions come from the homework and theres an opportunity for 2 extra credit points. Def would recommend for an easy low effort A

Prepare for lots of note taking and studying for this class. Lectures were pretty interesting but also boring if that makes sense. Only 2 grades in this class are HW and exams. EXAMS ARE TOOK IN HIMES so make sure you study!!! HW doesn't makeup your grade at all so basically whatever you make on the exams is what you will pass or fail with.

This was my second time taking her. I love her as a professor. She's super understanding and funny. Tests are kinda hard, but if you study, you're all good. I didn't use the textbook all semester and survived by studying quizlets. Def get the book though. Class is kinda hard and tough subjects, but she helps a lot by going more in depth.

absolutely lovely woman and great lecturer. class is hard but that's not a flaw imo. the one point is docked for the kinda ridiculous grading system. with as much work as there is outside the tests, WHY are said tests 75 percent of the grade?? it's unrepresentative. she is also a pretty vague and harsh grader but that's a minor flaw imo.

Be ready to show up to class because that is the only way you're getting the notes. She is really great and creates ways for students to really grasp the concept rather then memorizing facts to spit out and forget.

Professor Knapp is intelligent, funny, approachable, and obviously cares a lot about her students and the material she teaches. She works hard to create a good learning environment. The tests are hard and have multiple short answer questions but if you read the textbook you'll be ok.

Professor Knapp is a good teacher. I took the online course Psych 2005 and every assignment was straight up. She opens up every assignment every Monday, make sure you complete them on time. Overall, very easy course as long as you do the work right and submit them on time.

Professor Knapp is very knowledgeable about psychology and I found her lectures very interesting. The tests were so easy in my opinion. The tests usually have you apply concepts to situations so as long as you study you should do good.

She tends to provide situational examples in lectures that are also useful for exams, so def go to class!

knapp was super nice. had her for both 2080 and 2070. she's lowkey intimidating but she's super chill when you get to know her. gives extra credit and fill in the blank notes. if you fail, it is genuinely your fault because she gives you plenty of ways to succeed. exams were a little tough but they were doable. loved her!

Knapp is incredible. As long as you come to class you will pass. Her outlines have most material for the exam, however some stuff does pop up that wasn't in the outlines. Only downside is she doesn't post slides, so you kinda have to go to class, but if you have a friend to get notes from you'll be fine.

Prof. Knapp is definitely one of the best psych professors on campus. She is passionate about what she teaches and made me way more interested in psychology than before taking this course. Notes are so straightforward for exams too. Just read and understand this notes and be able to apply to psychological situations and you'll be good.

She is a great professor. There is a textbook, but she gives you a free link and you don't have to use it much. She gives funny, memorable examples in her lectures and you can tell she is passionate. Tests are very easy if you study. She also dropped our lowest exam besides the final. Little to no HW besides quizzes on Moodle.

Fun, engaging professor! 4 exams and only 1 of first 3 able to be dropped. Has chapter quizzes and weekly easy discussion posts, no need to respond to any. You do need to get 10 RLR points by the end of the semester, either w/ RLR quizzes or SONA experiments. You absolutely need to go to class for notes, unless a friend in class gives you it.

This class is very engaging and the way she teaches keeps you on your toes. If you're a constant skipper, the app group me will be your best friend for this class. Slides or the documents are usually posted there, and you'll be updated most of the time, but honestly to save time just go to class.

Professor Knapp is a good teacher, she does tend to read off the slides for notes but she then explains all her terms in depth. You do need a good study method for this class cause those exams are heavy on your grade!! And please do those RLR credits, those are a big part of your grade and you only need 10. Other than that it's a good class.
