The best professor I have ever had in college yet! She makes psychology extremely interesting and fun. She is extremely easy going, funny, and helpful. She makes class exciting to go to and easy to understand and on tests she is very clear. Read your chapter, study your notes and ace the test!

She is the best professor I have ever had. She goes out of her way to help her students. There is a lot of info in this class, but she explains it well with examples and stories. As long as you take notes in class, it's easy. I absolutely love this class and professor!

I love Dr. L. I plan on taking more classes just to have her again. Its obvious she loves what shes teaching and shes very approachable, knowledgeable and down to earth. The way she presents course content is easy to understand, but she challenges you at times. I highly suggest taking any course available with her.

She mixes up her lecturing and learning style, which is very refreshing. She enjoys the material, and she is personable. Stop in and talk to her anytime, she is a good person, and helpful. Her class offers a buffet in teaching.

She is a really good teacher. Her power points are good and easy to learn from and she mixes it up with in-class,group activities for points. she is very willing to help and really wants you to understand and do well. she grades fairly. she really enjoys adolescent and gender psych so that's a good kind of teacher to have for those classes.

Very good professor. She knows what she knows her stuff, and is very helpful. I enojy going to her class because her lectures are interesting, she makes the time goes by fast too. Defiantely recomment taking a psych class with her

very good professor, she makes the class seem so sort and we watch alot of films. she is very open with her own experiences which makes it that much better. however she puts stuff on exams that she has never taught. i would recommend showing up for class because she randomly gives an in class easy assignment and will grade that just for showing up

Great professor! This was my only class that I did not look at the clock. She shares interesting stories with the class and her tests are not too bad as long as you study. I would definitley recommend taking Professor Leszcynski

Shes nice and fun. You will enjoy going to class because its never boring. For exams, just study your notes, no need to buy the book.

One of the best teachers ECSU has to offer. Really knows the material and relates it well. Plenty of personal references. You'll need to study for tests and watch out for stuff she says you need to read that she didn't cover fully in class. Time flies in class though and she's a very caring teacher with great enthusiasm.

Take a class with Dr.L . You have to study for the tests hard, but if you do, you will do good in the class. Easy assignments once or twice a week. Piece of cake. One paper which isnt hard. Final is only three chapters. Take her!!!!!!

Attnedance is taken randomly Offers 20 extra credit points if you completed all 10 activities given randomly in class. Tests aren't hard, just study and will get a B or better. Lectures are through slide shows. Nice teacher, she's very approachable and funny. One paper that might be a challenge if you don't prepare yourself.

My favorite professor at Eastern. I never look at the clock when I'm in her class. She makes the class really interesting, theres 3 tests and a paper and extra credit, I definitley recommend taking one of her classes

Social Psyc - she made the class very interesting. Must read the book/attend class in order to do well on exams b/c they are on the harder side. Did a group project which was fun/a short paper (6pgs). She relates concepts to life situations. Very nice.

Great teacher, she gives fun and interesting slideshow lectures and interesting films too. You can tell she loves what she does. This was the class I would have preferred not to miss, even at 10 AM. One of the best psych profs.

She is one of the most enjoyable professors I've had so far! Lecture is never boring, and she has hilarious stories to tell. Her essays can be tough if you leave them til last minute, but if you actually study for the exams a little you'll do fine!

Great teacher! The papers are self explanatory and if you do it right very easy to get an A. Go to class and take notes because the exam questions come directly from her powerpoints! Class was very interesting and I learned alot.

Lovely woman with a straight forward, easy yet informative, helpful, clear teaching method. Grades fairly and is very clear about what she requires in a paper or test. Very available for extra help. Going to class is a must; tests are based mostly on class lectures and notes rather than the textbook.

Not a psych major, but I loved Gender Psych with her! She explained the material well, and was always available for extra help. Tests are tough, and going to class is a must if you want to do well, but the class itself was always fun and interesting.

Psych of Gender was the best class I have taken EVER. Great professor with great class material. She knows her stuff. She is friendly, helpful, clear, and generous with extra credit opportunities. Must attend class (you can get points at random for it) to do well on exams. Great class, I loved it and I love having her as a professor.

I took childhood and gender with her and both classes were so interesting and she knew exactly what she was talking about. Very nice and made her lectures fun.

The study guides have everything the test has on them, shes the nicest teacher and the absolute best teacher ive ever had hands down. ive taken 5 classes

She's amazing! This is the second course I've taken with her. Her lectures are to the point, there's no ambiguity. She does have random activities that she grades. If you don't show up to class you risk losing 5 points. Her exams are exactly what she gives you to study. The material is pretty easy, you just have to study. Yea, great professor!

I absolutely adore her and would take any class you can with her. I truly enjoy going to her classes and learn so much. Her tests are sort of difficult sometimes, but nothing you can't manage if you pay attention and take notes. Her sense of humor and understanding of college kids really makes it enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend her.

This teacher is amazing! Her lectures are very easy to sit through, and shes constantly available if you need help. You really need to study for her tests, as they are difficult. Everything on the test is taught! I have highly reccomend this teacher!

Loved this professor and would definitely take again. Exams are hard but not impossible. Write down all of the notes on the slides and if you miss a day you HAVE to get the notes from someone bc they are not on bb and they will be on the test. Study every single thing you wrote down. 4 small papers due throughout semester, easy to do.

Dr. Leszczynski is one of the best professors at Eastern. I've taken two classes w/ her & I'm taking another one w/ her this semester. Her lectures are informative & easy to sit through. She doesn't post lectures so make sure you go to class. If you miss class the TA will have the notes. The test aren't very hard if you study and journals are easy

I took this class online during winter break. Everything on blackboard was in order and easy to follow. She broke up the lecture videos so they were not too long. The work was fair and not too hard. I would love to have her in a class on campus! Highly recommend for an online course.

to preface, I am a student that absolutely hated psychology going into this course. I did not have a positive outlook however she made me love this subject. She presents information in a way that makes it interesting and relates it to many examples so you can fully understand it. Shes clear about how she will grade and I would absolutely take again

Absolutely love Dr. Leszczynski. I have taken now 4 classes with her and would always be down to take another one. I never liked developmental psychology but she teaches it in such a way that makes it interesting. Love her classes and her! Take a class with her if you can!

Wonderful teacher! Reason why I changed my concentration. You'll lover her lectures and all the fun activities she has in class. MUST take her if you are a psychology major, especially if you are thinking of a career in developmental psychology.

I have taken two courses with this professor and wish I had time to take more. Dr. Leszczynsk is so passionate about her research and her work as a professor. She encourages tons of group discussion and is open to hearing what all of her students have to say about a topic. Highly recommend this amazing professor.

I went into this class not knowing what to expect. Little did I know I was going to consider working with older adults. The passion she has towards the material makes it very interesting and leaves you wanting to learn more. I loved the class discussions, they allowed me to ask questions and hear from my peers.

Professor Leszczynski is amazing. She really cares about what she is teaching and wants you to do well. I took this during the pandemic and it was online so we met online once a week and for the rest it was taking notes on recorded videos which were great. Grades came from exams mostly but she prepares you for them, just study and you should be set

Super easy class with a very nice professor. Not much work at all, just one discussion post a week and an assignment and that is pretty much it.

I've taken 3 classes with her and they are all so easy. Not much work and her lectures are not very loaded. Gives lots of extra credit. Nice professor.

Best professor! Lectures are well organized and easy to take notes from. Minimal/easy work, and four exams during the semester. Exams are NOT difficult to do well on if you study, she doesn't do trick questions and genuinely wants everyone to do well on exams and in class. Lots of extra credit as well! I take Dr. Leszczynski every time I can. Love her lectures, she doesn't rush and gives lots of examples. She lectures through power points but be sure to write down the examples she gives because it will be helpful on her exams. Weekly critical thinking assignments and responses. easy enough.

Loved this class. Weekly discussion posts and 1pg response, 4 exams, 1 paper. She teaches this class really well to make it interesting and engaging. Theres a few class periods where we just play with toys (playdough, blocks, legos, etc). The study guides are super helpful for the exams. She offers extra credit. Textbook isnt required which is nice

Dr. Leszczynski is a wonderful professor- her courses are all structured the same way and instructions are very clear. Students know what to expect every week- the same assignments weekly with the same due dates. The study guides posted consist of all information on exams. Almost all assignments are based off of completion instead of accuracy.

This course was really great as a whole and the professor was super sweet and easy to talk to. The only thing is, you may struggle on exams until you understand her style of questions. (1/2 multiple choice 1/2 short answer) Literally, go to class and request power points before exams and you will do well.

I found this class very interesting, though it was hard for me to do well in it. 4 exams, all a little hard because shes looking for specifics. An exam i studied for two weeks for(20 hours of studying i believe) I got a low 80 on.

This was a great class and she made her lectures very engaging. I was always excited to go to class. The grade is mostly based on four tests though so if you're not good at memorizing, don't go to lectures, or don't study it's going to be hard to do well. There is a paper to boost the grade though! Super kind and caring professor!!

Great professor overall, and I especially appreciate Dr. Leszczynski's professionalism during the election. Never once did she hijack the learning environment to force a political opinion. She sticks with the science and knows we're individuals capable of coming to our own rational and well thought-out conclusions based on the data. 10/10 recommend

Highly reccomend if you need to take PSY101, take it with Dr Leszczynski! Sweetest most caring professor by far. Class is super informative for those wanting to go to grad school/masters. The class provides all the different job oppurtunites with what you can do with a psych degree. Class is 50 min 1 day a week. You can only miss 1 class.

I have had Dr. Leszczynski for several classes and if you go to class you should be able to understand the material. She is open to discussions and gives you time to write down main ideas from slides. Information not on slides is also needed for exams which is why its a good idea to attend classes. She is one of the best!

You can tell she loves teaching and cares about students. The tests are a little difficult (she says no trick questions but I caught a few). She's thoughtful when putting her slides/lectures together though. Discussion posts and short writing assignments every week though
