Excellent Professor!

Professor Miller is a must take! She is very kind and helpful. There are 3 tests and a final. One of the tests could be replaced with the grade you make on your final. One of tests is online. She gives thorough study guides for all exams. There is an online HW and quiz through WileyPlus for each chapter. She does homework examples in class. No book

Professor Miller is very helpful. She is willing to help you understand the subject. If you have any problems, you can ask her directly. Before the test, she will give you specific study guides. As long as you study and read the book (not required), you will get an A. The best accounting teacher in GPC!

Mrs. Miller is the best! Shes super nice and understanding and tries to make acconting as easy as possible, becasue it is a tough class. The entire semester I thought I was going to fail but because of how she does her grading I got a B. Come to class, do your homework, and do the studyguides and you'll pass the class. Shes the best

Professor Miller is fantastic. I could have done better in her class, but my result was 100% my fault. If you come to class (she loves it when you do hates it when you don't), pay attention, and read a little, You will do very well. She is very open to questions, very easy to contact and willing to help. And she is down to earth and nice!

If you go to every class, you will be successful. She's very sweet and really cares about her students. She knows exactly what she's talking about. Tests are alittle hard but just study and you'll be fine! She posts her own ppts and notes on each chapter & it's very helpful! I am taking her again for ACCT2102. I HIGHLY recommend taking her!

She's a kind person, and is willing to work with those who are willing to put the work into the class. Attendance is a must! Accounting is not an easy subject, she will do her best to help. But a lot of it depends on the time you put into your studying. I highly recommend her!

This is not an easy class, come to class, do the homework , and study for the test. You will be fine. I don't know happen, reach end of semester, her lecture became shorter, and homework questions become 3 instead of 15 for each chapter, and she will do the quiz in class instead of students doing by themselves.

GREAT TEACHER! Mrs. Miller is the type of teacher that can relate to us as students, and she actual cares about all her students. DO NOT miss one day of class, do the homework, her study guides and study, then you will pass her class. SHE is a wonderful teach!!!!

Accounting was VERY hard for me but Mrs. Miller was the best. She helped as much as she could and really cares about her students. Do the wileyplus homework in class with her, EASY..! Also do the chapter test reviews to study for exams, they really helped.

By far one of the best teachers I've ever had! She teaches in a way that makes accounting concepts easier to grasp. I actually LIKE accounting now!! I took Miller for accounting 2, online, and it was a mini-mester. So far, the best accounting teacher ever! Professor Miller is a very respectful person and she gives great feedback. You can tell she thoroughly cares about her students, she explains the material well and will answer every and any question as best she can. You can use an index card cheat sheet for every test. She goes over the homework in class which helps ALOT. Also study for the final because it can be used to replace your lowest test grade

She is super nice. Friendly and willing to help each student! Acct can get challenging but she will guide you through it. Gives extra credit and can take note cards for tests. 3 tests, final and a few pop quizzes in class. Uses online wileyPlus for at home quizzes and tests.

Come to class with your laptop every time, she will do most if not every single problem of your homework with you. Exact same but different numbers. 13Chapers, 13 quizzes. Make sure to study before taking the quizzes. Pop quizzes (she'll hint about them) ,opportunity for xtra credit and study guides helpful do them! She goes over power points too.

Very sweet lady who cares for her students. Try to read the chapter before class and have notes ready because she does move kind of fast but she explains everything so clearly and has patience with everyone. She does most WILEY plus hw in class and her study guides really help for her tests.

She takes up a lot of extracurricular activities in the school and gives extra credit for participating in events. You can definitely see she wants you to succeed but nothing is handed to you. Accounting is hard especially being exposed to it for the first time. Come to class, read, do hw, study and an A is very possible. final replaces lowest test

This class was very straight forward. She had a quiz and hw due each week for a chapter. But we go over most of the hw in class and the quiz is basically a review of that. Her tests are quit similar to the material on the study guide and hw, so study that and you'll do great. She really want you to do well, going to class helps with retaining info!

Ms. Jennifer Miller is a well infromed professor who knows how to help students pass. While the course contains lots of reading and the meterial can be confusing, this professor knows how to make the difficult concepts more simple and easy to comprehend.

Mrs. Milller is a very nice person! Accounting is generally mundane; the class is not boring BECAUSE of her - it could be so much worse. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students. If you can't learn on your own you will not do well. 1101 is a foreign subject to anyone who doesn't know accounting and you can NOT learn it all in class.

She is the best Accounting professor at Georgia Perimeter. I took her for Accounting 1 after failing my previous Accounting 1 class with a different professor. I ended up receiving an A in her class. I will be taking her for Accounting 2. She is very helpful and answers questions in a way you will understand. She goes over Quizzes/HW so thats an A+

I took her for Accounting 1 & 2 last year but forgot to rate her, I am now at GSU Atlanta campus and just finished my Corporation Finance (FI3300) with an A+ and I remember her telling us one day in class that we would have to take that finance class and it would be tough but not impossible! :)

ACCT is really difficult but Prof. Miller will make it easy for you. Her lectures are from the book and she will squeeze in other stuff that will make you see how accounting works in real life. She gives extra credit, will do anything and explain everything for you till you understand it. She does not just help you pass, she'll help you to excel!

I took professor Miller for both Acct2101 and Acct2102 (honors). She was my favorite teacher. She does an outstanding job of explaining the subject at hand and showing you how to properly calculate the given problems. This class is not a cake walk but if you put in the effort you will succeed. She also allows a note card on tests, which is awesome

Gives clear explanation on the material being taught. Put the Power Points and Wileyplus homeworks side by side. Explain a topic and do the homeworks on wileyplus regarding that topic. You can use your laptop and do the homeworks in class and get 100% in homeworks only if you follow her in class. Memorize the formula and all materials to pass exam

I really enjoyed Professor Miller in ACCT 1. She was the nicest, caring, easy to understand, intelligent, and educated professor I have seen. Her personal experience as an accountant and education gives her all the tools she needs to teach this subject. Accounting I was easy to learn and fun with Professor Miller teaching it. I passed with a "b".

I love her. I took her for Accounting 1 & 2. Her class is so easy & helpful. Please take her! You will pass. I cannot stress this enough. She does a couple extra credits, do them! They will be helpful at the end. Just study for the exams and quizzes. Watch her homework videos, they are very similar to the home-works. You should make a 100 for HW!

I took her both accounting 2101 and 2102 class. Professor Miller is very great. She provides study guide for each quiz and test. Easy to get A if you follow her instruction. Highly recommend her.

Professor Miller is one of the best professors you'll ever have if you go to GSU Perimeter College for her accounting courses. She is so considerate for all of her students and answers all questions that her students send via iCollege email. As long as you keep up with all assignments, you will definitely have no problem passing the course.

Take her course if you're willing to do the homework and do well on exams. If you can't accomplish those, then don't take this course and find a course that you could get an easy A on. Luckily this course does not require you to do heavy reading

She is one of the best teachers in GSU. Although I took the course in summer the workload was not heavy. She was always accessible through email. Amazing lectures and really caring. You will have to do the work to get a grade but its all worth it. Acct is difficult but she makes it seem easy. Highly recommended

Prof Miller is a very good accounting instructor. Her lectures help and she works on part of the homework assignments in class. The quizzes are simple and while her tests are challenging you will be fine if you do the study guide. You will get a good grade if you work for it and there's even a few extra credit opportunities.

Professor Miller is a great professor,I have taken her ACCT 2101 course and passed with B becasue I skipped 3 Homworks. In the middle of the semster she did a review for everything was taken from beging of the semster to the end. Her tests are all from the book and you will easily pass if you take notes and do your homork. Many extra credits.

Mrs.Miller is amazing! She loves her students. Very straightforward with the material. Homework & quizzes at the end of every chapter. She'll go through the homework while lecturing. I did most of my homework in class. She gives a clear study guide and no surprises. A lot of extra credit too! People who failed probably didn't attend class or try.

Professor Miller has good lectures and the homework is partially done in class so make sure to work along with her. There is 1 homework and 1 quiz due at the end of each week. Her tests are a little difficult but she allows one cheat sheet per test. There is extra credit opportunities so take advantage of that, overall I recommend.

Dr. Miller is one of the best professors in the business department that I had while a student at Georgia Perimeter College. She is very kind and sweet, and is willing to always reach out to help struggling students succeed. First and last exam on lockdown browser, a cheat sheet was allowed. Very thoughtful professor. She gives lots of extra credit and curves exams. One quiz and homework per week. Homeworks are time-consuming. Quizzes are simple. Overall, I would recommend

She provided a lot of extra credit for the tests. Homework can be very time-consuming but those are very manageable. Tests are 50%, the final exam is 25%, quizzes are 5%, and homework is 20% of your total grade. She allows one page of handwritten note for every test, which is very helpful. I recommend taking her in person rather than online.

1. She provides extra credit on all tests except test 3. 2. The tests are pretty hard because you run out of time. Also questions on tests are hard as well (the wording) 3. The only thing that saved me from a B was the final. The final was only 55 questions with 2 hours. I had plenty of time left. And dropped replaced lowest test grade.

She is the BEST, she always gave extra credit for every test and let us use cheat sheets. You don't really have to go to class cuz her lectures are on icollege, but in class she would go over home work problems or go more into depth on a subject. HIGH KEY RECOMMEND HER CLASS. I was slacking a bit so don't let my grade reflect her teaching.

Professor Miller is one of the best professors that I ever had. I took both ACC 2101 and 2102 with her. The way she teaches is very easy to understand. She also provides many extra credit opportunities for students to improve their grades. I highly recommend taking her class.

I took Professor Miller's Accounting 2101 and now 2102, she cares about her students and is super nice. Lectures can get a bit boring, but she tries to make it less boring by practicing on the homework problems. You do have to study a lot, it will reflect on your exam scores. Besides the studying part I would take her class again.

Professor Miller is great. However, I don't recommend taking accounting online and especially during the summer. Accounting is not easy so it is better to take it in-person during the regular semester.

Personality wise she's very calming with her teaching.Big portion of the assignments are on the textbook you have to pay for but so worth it.She always provides help whether being hw,quizes, and before tests.She prepares you for accounting and you will for sure pass her class if you pay attention and attend her lectures.Loved her shes very helpful.

The high reviews are because she's an awesome professor who taught an otherwise difficult class exceptionally well, not because its easy. BUT, she drops the lowest exam and replaces it with your final. Her quizzes are easy to score 100 on, she gives extra credit for the exam and she hosts live sessions to go over the homework. Highly recommend!

Professor Miller did an amazing job teaching class online. However, ACCT2102 is extremely difficult and this class requires A TON of reading and understanding outside of the assigned work. Luckily, she is very accessible and uploads a lot of videos on how to assess the assignments she provides for you. My recommendation: take accounting IN PERSON.

Best of class... True real life experience in the accounting industry that makes her lectures resonate and more easily retainable. I highly recommend taking her accounting courses.

Nice professor, but definitely not an easy class. Course materials are heavy, but she gives chapter reviews for every test. The first 2 tests are nothing but like the review, 60 average for my class. Luckily the final test is the same with review. Please learn the definition, there will be fewer calculations in her class. Have to work to earn A.

The class wasn't too hard, but you NEED to put in effort. I was mega lost at first, so I relied on the Wileyplus textbook, WileyPlus practice, and the videos she uploads. Honestly, I didn't go to class much, but still did well. Learn the formulas and study consistently. The pro? A double sided worksheet is allowed! & 3 extra credit opportunities!!!

Condensed PowerPoints that she crafted to make it easy to complete difficult HW problems, study guides, optional practice tests. I cannot emphasize any more how amazing she is. She truly loves her job which makes it enjoyable to learn acct which is usually an uneasy subject for some people. She is so amazing, I wish Alpharetta had someone like her

2101 Honors - Her class was great. Grading - 30% (12 Chapter Quizzes, 12 HW, 3 Unit Projects), 50% - (3 tests w/ lockdown), 20% - Final (replaces lowest test). Review concepts for the test are given, and 1 page of handwritten notes is allowed for the tests. Ample office hours, and extra credit for attending business webinars she coordinates.
