Great teacher always willing to help!
Had so much fun. She brings in great examples of skulls and stuff.
Very willing to help, great professor!
The coolest teacher on campus!
Hottest teacher in college that I have ever had. preety cool too and she grades fairly easy. unlike some teachers she wants you to get an A. Just study a little and get the extra credit and you should get at least a B.
Course isn't easy, and she makes you work for your grade, but wow what a teacher! You will know everything simply from her ability to explain the subject. Great Teacher.
She makes anthro very interesting and interactive! She is more than willing to sit at a desk with you and answer any questions. A great teacher!!
Best instructor at Sierra. Very helpful, tests are straight from lectures. Shes very attractive as well. Take her courses!!!
Jennifer is a great teacher and truly wants everyone to pass. She's not out to kill you like some instructors. Take her course and learn tons!
She's great! She tells you exactly what to study, puts all info and all notes on-line for you and gives more extra credit than any teacher I've evr had. She's cute and not the slightest bit intimidating- but she has certainly mastered her subject.
Jennifer is a fantastic instructor. She is very clear, and always willing to answer questions. She has a wonderful personality that makes learning fun, and puts students at ease. She is very easy to talk to, and isn't the least bit intimidating.
VERY HELPFULL TEACHER AND HOT
Easy, informative, and hot. What's not to like?
One of my fave! She lets you know what to study for on tests. Just do your work and extra credit and you can get good grade. I learned a lot and still think about anthro in my everyday life!
she is very helpful teacher. she knows her subject a lot. the class is interesting and fun!! also she is very pretty!!!
I have taken 2 classes with Jennifer she is a great teacher she makes Antro fun and interesting. She writes everything down on the board and posts the notes on the internet. You never catch anyone looking at the clock everyone because everyone is involved in the discussions. She is very pretty.
She is vey nice and approachable, really wants her students to learn. She is willing to spend time with you until you understand. She made "Anthro All Day" doable. If you need a lab science and are not a science major then I recommend the class.
Professor molina you are the best. Thanks for everything. Sandra Sandoval
This class was cake and i would recommend it to anyone. Molina makes study guides for all her tests and no comprehensive final!

She makes you want to learn!!! She's awesome!! She inspired me to be an anthropology major!!
I learned a lot in this class. Her delivery made it very interesting.

Great teacher and willing to help students learn. A lot of homework for the OL class but well worth it.
I love Jennifer!!! Its been 3 years since I took her class, but she still remembered me when I visited! This is how much she takes the time to know each and every student that shes teaching. And this is what she does, teach. I still reccomend her to anyone I know in the JC system. Even if they dont go to sierra. Jennifer is worth it!!!
Loved this class. She's very informative and the classes are fun to go to. I took this in conjuction with Anthro Lab the same semester and it worked out really well. A+ teacher, one of my favorites.
great instructor. fun and interesting classes
Professor Molina had very interesting lectures with a lot of class discussions. There was quite a bit of reading, but interesting material.
jennifer is awesome!
Very difficult class, might be because it was a net class but nontheless very difficult.
She is so helpful, fun, and understanding. An awesome teacher and I look forward to taking more classes with her!
She is so nice. She gives out a lot of information, but if you pay attention its easy to follow.
Very Difficult class. Way too much material. Impossible to keep up if you don't know anything about anthro. What a horrible subject. Seemed like a super advanced class. I dropped & got the H.E. double hockey sticks out.
Very nice and very helpful. Fun class. We got to dig up a fake skeleton.
Very Good Teacher! Everything that she tests you on is in her lectures in class- which is very easy to follow and very clear! Highly reccomended..and very nice teacher:)
She was awesome, very passionate about subject & really knowledgeable!!! Easy assignments & interesting lectures, tests not too hard if you study her review sheet & read articles. She goes over everything that will be on the tests, really helpful & puts great lecture notes & handouts on blackboard. I'm going to take her for another class!
After completeting a semester of physical anthropology online, I can say I recommend it. The homework is often a short reading assignment, and posting 2 short responses on a bulletin board. Tests are very fair and reflect very accurately the information from the lectures (and rarely any suprises). Recommended.
I enjoyed her online anthro class. She was informative, helpful, and clear. If you needed help, she was there. She posted pre-exam questions and allowed us to interact and help eachother. Exams were easy to follow so long as you read the material. She never put anything on the exams that we never discussed. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone.
very sweet teacher. very clear. studt for tests and you will be okay. the homework is very simple.
wow...she is such an amazing professor! What a great class.
This is a hell of a teacher. She is SUPER involved in her classes, and goes way beyond in helping. The sheer amount of time she spends preparing stuff for lectures is amazing, you'll see what I mean when you take her. Pleasing to look at too, makes the lectures pleasant :)
I love Monlina!! She is a wonderful person and teacher. I thought the subject matter was very interesting but i had a lab class and it was not as interesting as the leature class with monlina. She is very helpful!
Online anthro class was great. It wasn't easy due to the sheer amount of reading to be done, but she is very clear on what's going to be on the tests. As long as you do the reading and are active on the discussion board, you will do well in the online class. If you don't do the reading, you're toast. Great response time to email questions too.
In the top two best instructors I've had at Sierra, vieing for 1st place with Rich Eliot. She is so enormously involved in her class it almost makes you feel guilty if you miss any test questions. She is such an awesome teacher that she should be teaching other teachers how to teach.
Awesome teacher! She loves what she's teaching and makes the class interesting for everyone else. I've had her for Intro to Anthro and Forensic Anthro. Both classes were fun and easy. She made a point to bring in guest speakers and made class activities. We watched a goat decompose throughout the course. It may still be out on the running trail.
Jennifer is a gem of the Sierra College faculty. I took my first and second anthro courses with her--and now I've decided to major in Biological Anthropology! Her online lectures always make her come across as jolly and excited about the subject matter. She is really COOL, helpful, knowledgeable, and intelligent, in conclusion.
This online class was great. Jennifer was a great teacher and the tests are way easy(provided you review the lectures)!!!

professor Molina-Stidger is one of the best teachers at sierra college! She is so fun to listen to and as long as you listen to the lectures and turn in your "question of the day's" you should get a good grade. She makes sure you understand everything and the tests are not that hard if you come to class. I loved her class! sing up you wont be sorry
Professor Molina makes it so interesting with those weekly pictures especially the primates and directs you to other websites giving you lots more information about primates and ****sapiens sapiens. She really rocks and brings a lot of enthusiam and knowledge into the subject.
This was the first online class I took and I really enjoyed it. She keeps the class very organized. There is a fair amount of reading to be done, but that should be expected in an online class. Her lectures are excellent and are great study guides for her tests. She made it very interesting. I would highly recommend her for any anthro class.
Given that this was my first on-line class, I was quite skeptical at first. Prof was responded to e-mails in an expedited fashion, and did a great job at explaining and presenting what was to be expected. Prepare yourself for readings, but what else do you expect from an on-line class?
Great teacher! Very clear, helpful, and entertaining. Was able to keep my interest in anthropology, of all subjects. A great example for other like teachers to follow.
Good, solid, well prepared teacher. Recommended.
Extremely good teacher. Going to Class isn't necessary if your reading but, it helps especially because of the hands-on teaching style she does.
Awesome teacher! Really good in explaining things clearly, lot of hands-on in this class, so really useful to go to class. Really nice teacher!
She is a really great teacher and a really nice person. She's extremely helpful and doesn't make the tests very hard. If you attend class and study for the tests, you should get at least a B. I reccommend taking her, great teacher.
Her class isn't very hard and it's really fun! She makes things interesting with lots of hands on stuff. She also knows the subject very well.
Excellent class. I highly recommend this teacher for any subject that she teaches. She is always smiling and she is extremely passionate about her job. She honestly cares and the the class respects her for it. she is also great because she is nonbias on the subject of evolution.if your religious, i highly recommend this class to you.
Great teacher. Her online lectures are very interesting and easy to understand. She provides links to video sources which make understanding the material easier. Wonderful class.
Professor Molina is awesome! This class was fun and challenging. She is so relatable and kept me engaged the whole time. I am actually a little sad that it's over. Keep up on your reading and do the Questions of the Day and you'll have no trouble passing.
Great class! You know exactly what to expect from day one. As long as you have your book and lectures handy during your tests you will do fine. Grades really easy! Minimal effort got me an easy B and knocked out a gen ed requirement!!
I took this online and loved it. The subject matter is extremely interesting and Prof Molina makes sure everything is clear. The tests are pretty in-depth so be sure to do the study guides completely and keep up on the reading!
Great class.Great teacher. Profa Molina let's you know ahead of time what she expects from you. Very clear, consistent, fair grader, punctual,no BS. Easy to get a hold of.Tests are open book, part multi and part short answer.Read your lectures and text you'll do fine!Test is timed so don't expect to just open your book and ace the test.Study!
She is the best teacher I have had to date! She is loves this subject and it shows. The lectures usually take up about 20 min of class and then it is hands on. The tests were REALLY easy! You can miss classes, but there is usually some type of work given out worth 5 points, but if you can afford to miss that, then it's no big.
Jennifer is the best teacher at Sierra. She genuinely cares about her students and makes class enjoyable!! I can't wait to have another class with her! The class itself is pretty easy just do the reading and participate in the group learning and you'll do fine! Tests are group tests as well.
she is really nice and always willing to work with her students. u honestly do not use the textbook that much. her exams are a little long but are not that hard. make sure you go to the study sessions because they really help
Really a great Professor.
I have never enjoyed a class as much as Jennifer's. Her lectures are so interesting and they never get boring. Tests are very straight forward and she gives quite a bit of extra credit. Make sure you do the question of the days though, they really help!
Awesome Instructor! She is very caring and helpful about helping students in her class and she wants everyone to succeed. Alot of reading and short written assignments. Read the materials and you should be able to pass the course.
Very Sweet and helpful instructor. She has her students read a lot and do some response papers towards the reading. Her tests aren't difficult, but can be a little hard and some multiple choice and a few essay questions. She gives some extra credi for students that are struggling, so I highly recommend this instructor for anybody.
I just started taking her class and i love her! Teaching and giving back to the world is her PASSION and she wears it on her sleeve. What I really love is NING in her class. It is one of the many things that exemplifies her desire for her students to succeed. Go to this class! Always fun and so entertaining!!!
She is a great professor! You can tell she loves what she does and she really helps you understand what you're learning. For exams, she has review sessions that are very helpful. This is my second class with her and if I could I'd take more.
She is just a beautiful person inside and out. You couldn't possibly ask for a more rewarding experience or investment on your time. I learned so much, had TONS of fun, and worked really hard. Best professor you'll ever have hands down.
Wooow not easy but not hard if you want to get an A you can and you will learn, i took it online and i still loved it
Took her intro to Physical Anthro Class Fast Track OL, and it was awesome!!! She is a really nice person, passionate about the subject, clear about her expectations, and has a reasonable course load. It you read and do the work you will get an A. She makes the subject interesting and understandable even for those who aren't into science!
I took online class over the summer and even though it was only 8 weeks, she has it set up so you can get thru the material and still comprehend it. She explains how the class works, her expectations and also when everything is due up front and if you follow her easy to follow outline on what to do it's a fairly easy A. But not for slackers.. :)
This was a condensed course which I took online. I thought it would be grueling but Mrs. Molina-Stidger made it fun and interesting with her energetic personality and relating the subject matter to her students. I would definitely take one of her classes again!
You definitely have to pay attention to the material as you go through it but she is very fair and willing to help. She gives you two of the essay questions before the test so you can find the answer before the test. She's always willing to help and would take another one of her classes again!
I never use this website but came here just to tell you what an AMAZING teacher Prof. Molina-Stidger is... I've been to 3 colleges and -I am not exaggerating- she is the best professor I've ever had. Clear, concise, really passionate about Anthropology, makes learning FUN!!!! She cares about our experience in her classroom. Just a wonderful person
Jennifer is a great professor. Class is never boring. She always engages the class and provides clear examples. Tests arent to difficult if you do the readings! You can tell she loves what she teaches and knows her stuff!! Will take her class again!
She is the most awesome teacher I have ever had!!! Extremely nice and helpful!! This class was 90% hands on even the tests!! I really enjoyed her class.
One of the best teacher's I've EVER had, and so enthusiastic about what she teaches. If you have more of an interest then the average student she will go above and beyond to help you (lending personal books, letters of rec, etc.). Completely engaging and approachable. It's hard not to gush about her. Take a class with her before you leave Sierra!
Must say I had the privilege to be able to take one of her classes, first time. She is an exceptional teacher, have learned a lot from her this year. Her class is by the book. She is always willing to go over the syllabus & material to give her class a clear understanding. She's an amazing teacher.
Jennifer is an amazing woman all ways around!!! She is a beautiful person inside and out! Anthropology is a fascinating subject! She makes it even more fun with her passion that she has! Take her!! Online or in class!
Absolutley the best professor I have ever had. Class was great and it was an online class but she made it so interesting. It wasn't a class you waited until the last minute to do your readings and assignments. She actually made it so interesting you couldn't wait for the next assignments to be posted.
Professor Molina is so enthusiastic about her class, it is contagious! Very straightforward. Blog post every week; exams are multiple choice & short answer. Great class, great teacher!
Online condensed:Control Freak. Test designed for her control, not student success. Testing questions had to be done in order;essay portion was 7min per questions.Testing material mostly irrelevant; Reading on syllabus wrong midway corrected. Terms used lecture/books not defined, assumed; a lot of on your own research, vague in descriptions.
It's a summer class, duh!that's why it's condensed!!Are you kidding! Prof. Molina is the best Anthro Prof. in Sierra. Study guides before exams and she responds to email q's right away. Study guides will help you on exams. No surprise quest. and no tricky quest. If you read and study what's listed on the syllabus, you will do well in the class.
Jennifer Molina Stidger is AMAZING. Her passion for Anthropology is absolutely contagious. I'm going into my senior year of college and she is hands down the BEST professor I have ever had. I've taken two courses from her and they were both wonderful. If you get to be her student, count yourself lucky.
Profa.Molina is a good teacher. She is helpful and always avail. My only complaint would be the multiple choice exams. I'm not a lazy student, I work very hard for my grades, and those exams were not easy at all. Expecations are a little 2 much. Short answer exams were the best. She responds to emails quicky and makes class engaging.
Awesome teacher. She was very helpful to me (older student w/kids). I loved everything that I learned in this class. Take her class, you will love it. Thank you Profa. Molina!
Prof. Molina is passionate about her subject, makes it relevant, and is obviously experienced at teaching core required courses while weeding out apathetic community college students. However, the grueling nature of the syllabus and almost nightmarish tests that I will remember on my deathbed, leave even motivated students gasping for air.
Don't let the smile fool you! Yes, she is intensely knowledgeable & zealous about her topic, but unless Anthro is your life, I do not recommend her... especially online! Her workload is ridiculous, even for an "A" student... and she expects you to take in and test on Master degree level content for an Intro class. Stay clear. :(
She knows her stuff! Very helpful if you come to her. Her class does have a lot of work but this work helps on exams. I learned a lot in the class. She is a really good teacher. Makes people want to come to class. Take her!
Ahh what can I say as a non-anthropology student? It's a lot of work and yes it's a science class so expect to do a lot of hard work. The teacher is kind and knows her stuff. She tries to make class fun. I guess take her if you want to learn Anthropology.
Awesome professor. Gives you clear study guides. Responds to emails and is always available to help. Super friendly and helpful. Class is enjoyable, relaxed, and will gladly answer your questions. Always positive!
Online class: At first it was hard to navigate, but once you get it it is easy. DO NOT rely on being able to look answers up for tests online... they are timed. This is a good class to take online. She is very helpful!
My favorite teacher so far! I have her tv class and she makes the material super easy to understand. I love her note taking worksheets. She writes everything thing out and when it comes time to take the test she makes a study guide which is AMAZING! She also is very passionate about the subject. Take her class!!!
I took her for Forensics and she is such a sweet lady. I had a great semester with her. It is easy to get a good grade if you use your time wisely in class. There is lots of group work and group tests.
Reading is definitely required in both texts if you plan on passing the class. She is the most helpful teacher and is willing to extend her time if needed. The class has a lot of really fun hands-on activities to help study. Group and individual tests, and if you're present for class - it's almost impossible to fail! HIGHLY recommended!
Jennifer is a very good professor. She is very helpful, organized and awesome. If you are looking for an easy class don't take it cause you have to do the reading which is very interesting and worth reading. She uses blackboard so you are constantly aware of your grade. Not only does Jenifer have all these qualities she happens to be very HOT!!!!!!
Wonderful teacher. She's passionate about what she teaches and that always makes a world of difference. She told you exactly what she expected from you and while the material wasn't always a cake walk, it's not hard to ace her class. She is very approachable and understanding so don't be afraid to go up and ask her something. A+ for Jennifer!
Jennifer is the best professor I've ever had at Sierra! She made the class so much fun and interesting to learn. All of the lecture notes, readings, and questions of the day are the key to success in her class! She's just amazing I recommend her to all my friends! :)
Took her anthro class online. All the lectures were on itunes and her lectures were very thorough. She is nice and very motherly. Make sure you take notes, if it's online watch all the lectures, and then study.
Loved this class! Professor Molina is a great teacher and really wants her students to succeed. She has a website for her class where we could post questions and comments to each other. The night before each test, she would get online for an hour and we could all ask questions for the test. It helped a lot! I would recommend this class!
I loved this class. It is not a class to be taken without care. Reading is mandatory to pass, but the readings are well worth the time to read. Read the lectures and participate and read the Ning Blogs and you will pass.
I took this online in the summer which made it harder, but Professor Molina-Stidger has a very organised online presentation and is super computer savvy. Weekly discussion and online assignments. The book was absolutely necessary and online tests were hard with multiple choice and essay. I'm an A student and had to work for it in this course.
Take her class.I found it very easy. Even if you do not take it online, most of the class assignments are submitted online. She does chatroom review before every exam. She answers any questions you might have. You get to also review with classmates. She is super sweet and makes the class fun.Gives study guide and two free short answer questions.
Loved this teacher! Amazing! Her tests are kind of hard, but read and you should do fine!
Amazing teacher. Passionate about her field and wants you to learn. I took online and she offers video and voice thread options for your lectures as opposed to just reading the lectures. Responds quickly and grades quickly too. If you need to satisfy your science credit I totally recommend her! She offers lots of EC and wants you to succeed.
Great teacher! She maintains communication well especially for an online class and always come across as friendly. Can't recommend her enough!!
One of the best professors I've ever had, and it was an online class, so that's saying a lot! Extremely helpful and responsive, very clear presentation, and genuinely caring and passionate about her subject. Being able to communicate that in an online setting makes it that much more amazing! She was very encouraging and helpful. Best class ever!
I got a B in this class with little to no involvement. I never studied or looked at the learning material and still managed to pass... it would have been an easy A if I did. She is a very friendly teacher and responds to emails rather quickly. The only downside of her class would probably be that there is a lot to study. Nice teacher.
Professor Molina is the BEST! Her class is definitely hard (tons of reading that you HAVE to do) but she makes all of her lectures interesting and the reading is pretty interesting too. You have to study though, I got a D on my first test (that has NEVER happened before) but she encourages you to keep going and make it through. I Recommend.
Professor Molina is an amazing instructor. She is determined to set her students up for success. Do all of the "Q of the day's" very thoroughly, and you will be very successful in the course. You learn a lot of very interesting information. I wish I could take her forensic course, but I transferred to Sac State. I highly recommend Professor Molina.
Extremely helpful and grades very fairly. If she did not remind the class about a big assignment, she may postpone the due date. Course material can be rather difficult to learn, but the tests don't expect too detailed of information. Almost always one extra credit question per test. Reading the books and understanding the basics is crucial.
This teacher is awesome! She is so open minded with a students responses for all topics in anthropology. She covers the material so well and makes the class interesting. She is very down to earth and is willing to help a student through her class. I highly recommend. Class is fun, exams are easy if you attend class and study! Book is necessary.
She is there to help! The BEST professor on campus by far. Reading the text is a must and attendance is crucial. Her class is never boring but expects you to learn everything. I highly recommend this class to anyone.
Fantastic teacher. Very funny and down to earth. I found Cultural Anthropology more interesting than I thought I would because of Professor Molina. I loved her. The tests are hard though, especially the multiple choice. Just fyi.
She is awesome! made a hard class easy, fun, and interesting!
I thought the tests were pretty difficult. I also could have studied more. I took this class online and would often procrastinate til the day things were due. Overall, I thought it was an interesting class and would recommend to everyone.
I took this class online in the summer, and it was quite simple. I was able to do all of my work for the week in about 3 or so hours, and she seemed lenient on what was required for discussions. She also let me turn in extra credit a little late for an A, so I think she's pretty great. The subject is somewhat interesting, but I was happy to be done
While she is an excellent professor in terms of her teaching, she is also quite rigid & difficult at times. I was 30 seconds late to class & received an F on a typed paper for it being "late." She truly treated students like they were still in high school with lots of busy work. I prefer other profs in the department.
Took online because I wasn't interested in physical anthropology but needed the credit. Turned out to be an interesting class. The reading isn't terribly heavy for an online class and the textbook she uses is to the point. She also assigns relevant articles as reading which makes it more interesting. She's also very involved for an online professor
Jennifer is one of the best teachers I've had, her study guides out-line the tests so do them! And attend her online review chat on Canvas she offers the night before tests because she goes over things YOU WILL see on the test! Do the questions of the day they are simple and add up fast! Overall she wants you to get an A just as much as you do!!
Professor Molina is by far one of the greatest teachers I have ever learned from. Her methods are very hands on and class attendance is important in order to fully grasp the material. Homework is minimal and fun if you are interested in anthropology. Very clear about grading and feedback. Always has a smile on her face, definitely take her!
Prof Molina is amazing! You learn a TON of information and LOVE doing it! Do the "Question of the Day", show up to class and you will do well. She is always available for help. She loves what she does and her passion is contagious! Take her!
She is awesome! I would recommend her to anyone! I loved coming to her class everyday and she made the class so fun and engaging. She teaches at a good pace, so nothing is overwhelming. She does online chats the night before the test and posts the written question for tests ahead of time. Great study guides that help with being successful!
Professor Molina-Stidger is an amazing professor whose class I really enjoyed. You can tell she really is passionate about the curriculum. I took this ONLINE and her personality still brightened the class. A lot of reading, which is CRUCIAL for the exams (lectures, too.) She offers extra credit. DO IT and READ if you want an "A"!!
There's absolutely NO WAY you can take her class and not fall in love with anthropology. If you are unsure of your major, take Prof Molina and become an anthropology major!!!!
Amazing teacher and all around individual. Gives out really hard tests but at the same time is just challenging you to actually have comprehended what you have read.
This class is self explanatory. There are usually three discussion boards per week and one response to another student is mandatory but this class is very easy! Make sure that actually read the readings or you will not pass the test. Tests are easy if you just read! TAKE IT! You will not regret it .
This class starts off with a very thorough syllabus which covers everything you need! This class was a lot of work- read, read, read! Read, take notes, watch the lectures. Only one required discussion per week, one test every 4 weeks, & lots of extra credit. Luckily it is worth all the work- very engaging & interesting, & Prof Molina is great!
Loved this professor! How she teachers her class is so organized, it was easy to succeed. Lots of extra credit, ended up with a 103% in the class. Just make sure you do the work (Q's of the Day). She's so enthusiastic and good at what she does, I'm so happy I took her class. Physical Anthro was ended up being SO interesting. Take her!!!
Professor Molina is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She made the class interesting, exciting, always had structure, and was very educated and passionate on all the material. She truly is an inspiration and changed my entire viewpoint on science in general because I did not like it before. Highly recommend this class!!!
She is so passionate about Anthro! Class is very clear and not hard if you take notes and come to class. She offers extra credit weekly and there are no quizzes. Only have 4 chapter tests. Fanastic professor who really cares about her studets.
Veryyy hard tests. Answers for tests are not directly in book, the answers are only thinking out of box. 4 tests and no quizzes. Discussion are a lot, and if you dont do it you will lose lots of points. Overall she is nice lady. Getting A is soooo hard.
Professor Molina-Stidger presented in such a way so as to be fun and engaging. We only studied material that was absolutely necessary. She was immediately responsive to all emails and graded quickly. She gives everything she's got provided you do your part. Best and most enjoyable on-line course I have ever done. Profa rocks!
She is a fantastic teacher. She gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. She only gives points for tests and discussion boards, so don't slack on those. I got an A by doing the reading, discussion boards, the review videos that she posts, and printing out the lectures. Very easy to reach outside of class.
Took her online class, was very easy. Answer two discussion board topics, read all the material she assigns, particularly the lectures and articles she assigns. Textbook reading helps but isn't necessary. 4 exams, offers lots of extra credit.
Well organized class! Professor Molina-Stidger has a passion for teaching this subject and it shows in her lectures and handouts. The tests were hard but she gives you extra credit opportunities just in case. Take this professor!
Prof Molina is beyond AMAZING. I took her Forensic Anthropology class. Outside the usual study-time of a few hours a night, if you strive to get an A, simply do the assignments, extra credit, and study well off of the study guide for the 4 exams she has. As a biology major, she made anthropology very interesting. DEFINITELY TAKE MOLINA 13/10.
She makes anthropology very interesting and makes sure everybody understands the material she is covering in class.
IN LOVE. Jenn is absolutely amazing and if you can land a seat in her class, take it! she really makes learning fun and her class is so easy. She provides MULTIPLE extra credit opportunities and is a very clear grader. Everything we review in class is on the test. she does assign daily assignment but their easy.
Great lectures and very enthusiastic. Would definitely take her again if I could
i normally never write posts on here, but honestly you guys i really felt the need too. The BEST professor i have ever had in my 3 years at sierra college. She makes learning fun! her note- taking is outstanding! I really wish there were more professors like her around. Do your question of the days, write down her notes and you'll get an A!
I did not enjoy taking this class at all. It was by far the hardest class I have EVER taken. She doesn't respond to emails very quickly, and she's not very clear in her responses. She doesn't really seem to care that much either. The exams are extremely difficult, and confusing. She expects way more work than an intro class should.
I love professor Molina! She is so passionate about this topic and great at teaching it. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. This class is a lot of hands on material which makes it fun and time goes by super fast. She responds to emails extremely quickly. This class is an easy A if you show up. Lets you use a notecard for the quizzes :)
She is an amazing professor! She explains the concepts clearly, gives plenty of review for exams, and several options for extra credit. Extremely approachable and answers questions over email/canvas very quickly. The class was a lot of fun and the homework was pretty easy. Don't be fooled, you will have to study, but you will enjoy this course!
No. Just no. Don't do it! Lol hardest tests I have ever taken and the teacher is alright. I don't really see where some of these other students are coming from. You must work hard to even get a C in this class. She expects you to go into the course already knowing everything. Sooooo not helpful. Ugh overall not a good class
Unless you already know everything about anthro, I wouldnt recommend. The work load is way too much and the teacher expects the students to just get it. Exams suck and are ridiculously hard. Not worth taking her if you just want to bust your butt for a mediocre grade.
Jennifer is the best! I don't think I've ever had a more kind and enthusiastic prof. There was a never a day that she didn't have a big smile on her face. It's clear from her great lectures that she really cares about the subject matter and wants her students to understand it. Tests can be difficult, and somewhat unclear at times.
Prof Molina is an amazing teacher. Her lectures are 10/10 full of great information. She mixes it up and keeps the class very interactive. Very knowledgeable and up to date in her field. Very fun and interesting!! DO YOUR QUESTIONS OF THE DAY, take notes, and study well (I 100%'d 2/3 of the tests) and you'll easily pass. Take her! She's fantastic.
So many mixed reviews for this teacher. I guess I can see why. She's nice, but the class is hard and she doesn't seem sincerely interested in the topic or helping her students succeed. Doing well in the class but wouldn't recommend or take again.
I was skeptical about forensic anthropology and this teacher but wow I have never loved a class more! I absolutely hate group work but the way she structured the groups it makes it very enjoyable! I love how she incorporates hands on time throughout the class and the first exam is set up so you can touch the bones and identify them :) super easy!
horrible class and horrible teacher. tests are impossible and the teacher doesnt prepare you for anything. pointless class
Her class was very hard, but she knew her stuff. I took it online and didn't do very well on the last test, but still managed to get an A in the class - barely. Online setup is not confusing at all - set up in modules. Her class averages are "always C-B range" - her words, not mine. She offers some extra credit.
super hard content, and not interesting to learn at all. she's a great professor in that she's nice and does offer extra credit and responds to students quickly BUT she doesn't grade on canvas when in a online class and that's frustrating alone. She doesn't show you what answers you got wrong on the exams and they are SUPER HARD.
Jennifer is a great Professor! She is very passionate about teaching and it is clear that she cares for her students. There is so much extra credit and many easy points just for showing up and doing the work. DO THE QUESTIONS ON THE DAY, they are easy and worth lots of points. Honestly just do the work and you'll pass.
Overall great professor. She is really quick at responding back which is always good for taking an online class. Make sure to read and study the textbook chapters, articles, and lectures.
Y'all im real life obsessed with this teacher! I have never had such a caring and thoughtful teacher who makes learning THIS fun. This class has nothing to do with my major and after taking it with Prof. M I wish it did! Fun, easy, but you do need to study for the few tests we have which really are NOT hard at all if you apply yourself! Take her!!
She is so helpful and friendly. By far my favorite teacher at this school.
I wish I could have this teacher for every class. I'm appalled that there are bad reviews on here for her. I took three of her classes and changed my major because of her. She is super helpful and WANTS her students to succeed. She gives detailed study guides and as long as you study, there's no way you'll fail. Do the ?s of the day. She is AMAZING
I've absolutely enjoyed being the student of Professor Molina. To do well in her class you must read, take notes, and do the questions of the day - and of course the extra credit. With the amount of reading, she gives it really prepared me for the UCSB. Because of her, I have grown to love physical and Cultural Anthropology. I highly recommend
Really nice professor, and the class is super easy even if you do the bare minimum. Gives student the opportunity to use note sheets for exams, that you hardly need to use since they are so easy.
She is absolutely incredible. I wasn't thrilled about taking this class, but it's easily my favorite class I've taken in college. She is part of all of the lectures, she updates canvas weekly and enters grades in immediately, and she's so caring and interesting.
Lectures are amazing and she has a ton of skeletons. Explains everything very well and will answer all questions even if it's about things outside of class. Super sweet. Funny. Buble personality, study guides cover everything on tests. She will clarify any questions. Tests are hands-on and straightforward. Light HW. Offers Extra Credit.
Professor Molina is amazing! She truly wants her students to succeed and really has a passion for anthropology. I took her online class and she was really good at helping you with whatever materials you needed covered with the written and video lectures. I also took her online/lab class which was so awesome too! She also gives extra credit!
I love this professor! She is always so excited to teach her students which makes learning her material so much easier and enjoyable! Even if you're not into anthro, I'm sure by the end of the semester you'll gain some interest in it! Definitely would take again!
Really good at explaining what the topic is for that day . Knows what shes talking about . Really nice and the class is easy if you do the work . her note taking skills are really good .Just do the work.
Prof. Molina is just a little ball of energy! Passionate about the class and her students and it shows.
Professor Molina is amazing. She's really helpful and wants you to pass. Her tests aren't hard if you play attention and do the reading but the reading isn't a lot(take it from someone who hates reading for class) She offers extra credit throughout the semester and homework is super easy. Overall 10/10 recommend!!!
Jennifer is absolutely amazing! Answering the question of the day is the only homework where you can submit online or at the beginning of the class. You do have to share your answer once and that's it. She has us participate in kahoots before the exam and lets you use a notecard on the exam! Easily one of my favorite teachers and would take again.
Professor Molina is a wonderful teacher, she really loves what she does and knows her field well. Her field experience really contributes to this being a wonderful and real hands on course. As long as you study terminology and attend class you will do well and even have fun.
She is an absolutely amazing professor! The content can seem intimidating in the beginning but the resources she gives you and the way the class is structured everything is easy and FUN to learn. Always excited for this class! The readings are interesting and it is never too much at once. She is passionate about the subject and encourages questions
This class has 4, 100 point exams that are pretty much your entire grade. There are opportunities for extra credit. This professor is super nice, always shows up to class with a smile and a bunch of enthusiasm. She is clear on what she expects on tests. I would definitely take her again.
This teacher was so awesome. She was nice and also had fun reviews that prepared us for the tests. Class consists of 4 exams and a daily question. Gives 15 points extra credit that can shift a grade. Absolutely loved her.
She was so awesome and sweet, and you could tell she was very passionate about anthropology. Her written lectures were detailed, and she also provided video lectures which are very helpful. Use the study guides to prepare for exams and you'll get an A. Great professor!
Had her Anthro 001 bio class and she is an amazing teacher. She is super cool and nice. Also there is never homework and overall an easy class. The tests are not difficult because you can use a notecard (: I recommend this class 100 percent. SHE WAS MY FAVORITE TEACHER FOR THAT SEMESTER! Seriously take her class you won't regret it
Tests aren't THAT easy but they are doable. Just do the work and you will pass. Jennifer is very nice and communicates well.
You honestly don't need the textbook, she covers everything in class. Memorize the notes, you'll get an A. Do the extra credit, easy over 100%. Great class. Great professor. Nice, caring, and ***experienced***. Would absolutely take this and other of her classes again. You won't regret bioanthro with her.
This online class was super easy as long as you kept up. The tests were pretty easy if you read the lectures and kept up with the videos. The week consisted of videos and discussion boards that were interesting to watch then easy to answer. Professor Molina was really understanding, offered extra credit & made the curriculum interesting.
Jennifer is a great professor. I've personally taken her for Anthro 1 and 10, and she is such a great teacher. Her lectures are super clear, her class is super easy (as long as you pay attention) and she always has interesting stories. Molina-Stidgers teaching style is very easy to follow, and she is a super sweet professor. Definitely take her!
Great teacher. This class seemed very intimidating at first but you'll see really quickly that she makes everything easy to understand. A lot of hands on work in the classroom. More of a lab than a lecture oriented course. She's gives great information and the class was always interesting. Just pay attention and try a little bit and you'll be fine.
Professor Molina made this class incredibly interesting with a huge variety of options and ways to learn. In some weeks, there was A LOT of information but she has an amazing way of making you take it all in through lectures, videos, live lectures if need be, articles and her unique ideas and method for Discussion Board is AWESOME!
This is one of my favorite professors for my general education. She is so passionate about her subject and made the entire class feel that passion as well.
I took the class at 8am and it was great. There are tons of extra credit opportunities! Professor Stidger is SUPER nice! Make sure to show up because of in class activities. Question of the day due every class and everyone must share theirs one time during the semester. The 4 tests are easy and a notecard is allowed. Its a yes from me dawg.
You can tell professor Molina really cares about the success of her students. She is clear and organized. Her online lectures were just like being in a classroom and she made the class fun and interesting by incorporating videos and activities. Make sure to read the articles, they will be on the quizzes. Use the textbook to supplement lectures.
I adore Professor Molina! I personally really like the way she lecture. She hand writes notes as she goes so you always know which information is most critical. 4 exams with note card but you always know what will be on the exam and I rarely needed to look at my notes. Really supportive when I was struggling in my personal life. Take her classes!
Oh gosh, where do I begin. Shes such an amazing human. Wonderful lecturer. Really engaging and motivational. Extremely clear instructions and is there to help you along the way. Shes by FAR the best professor Ive ever had. I wish I could take her again next semester. Honestly you MUST take Professor Molina.
By far one of my most favorite professors I've ever had. She's literally the sweetest person ever, and is a lot about seeing every student she has succeed. Her class is straight forward, minimal homework, and she provides a bunch of opportunities for extra credit. You can easily get the grade you want, just focus, do study guide. it's an easy A
I took this class online and even online she was super caring and attentive and helpful. Her personality came through and I hope I can take her in person too. Of course, because it was online, there was a lot of reading.
She was amazing and super passionate about her class. She wants you to to succeed and makes class fun even through online class. Lots of fun video clips to watch and be able to relate to. The test are a tad hard but not too bad if you study and she holds a class chat before to test to help with uknown answers to her study guides. She is fantastic!
She is the most dedicated, inspiring, caring, friendly, passionate educator that Ive ever met. Professor Molina provides so many resources and cares deeply about all of her students' learning successfully. It sounds hyperbolic but taking a class with her has changed my life for the better. Please do yourself a favor and take a class with her!
Prof Molina is a GEM! I cannot recommend her enough. She is extremely helpful and provides many useful resources. Her lecture videos are both entertaining and engaging. She cares so much for her students. TONS of extra credit. Tests are fairly simple and straightforward. I wish I could take her for every class. Please take Prof Molina if you can!
Prof. Molina is a doll. The class is one of the best I've taken. The written lectures could be written a little better, but you learn from them and the textbook is good. Prof. Molina is supportive, understanding, and really enjoys the subject and teaching it. Watch and read everything, and you will pass this class. Good for GE.
I took her anthropology anth 0001 online class with her during a summer session. Her homework was not due until the sunday night of very week. Consisted of a test and discussion every week. It's possible to receive a fair amount of extra credit in this class helping your grade when you need. She cares about student and the class a lot.
This class was really easy. The Professor made the class really accessible and easy. I didn't really use the textbook but printed out the lectures, watched the videos, and did the reviews she provided. Easy A if you stay ahead of things.
Absolutely wonderful. Jennifer is the best. Took her for bio anthropology online (summer, 6 weeks long) and she made everything quick, easy, and painless. Plenty of EC opportunities, easy tests and DBs. She made me consider changing my major I loved her class so much. Fun, cares about learning, always positive. Not a lot of work. TAKE HER.
Professor Molina is a super sweet and passionate teacher. I took her 6-week summer course and it was honestly one of the easiest classes I've taken at Sierra. Tests were super easy, some questions were straight from her study guides; you read 3-5 articles every week, as well as discussion boards and videos here and there. Easy class, great teacher!
Amazing! I did not have any interest in subject nature of this class, I took it because I needed it for a science credit. Now I am considering taking more anthropology classes because of her. She is a fantastic teacher, one that all teachers should aspire to be like. She responds to your concerns so quickly and is truly here to support. 10 stars!
I think that she made the class very enjoyable and anybody who puts in the work can pass. There is A LOT of homework and videos, but if you have the time to do it then there should really be no problem. She loves what she is doing and seems to know what she is talking about.
An amazing professor. One of my favorite classes I've taken so far, and Molina was helpful the entire time. She takes lots of feedback and implements it into her class. If you're trying to fill out a GED course definitely take this one you won't regret it.
The tests are really difficult and only allow you to work on one problem at a time so there's no skipping back and forth. There weren't many opportunities for homework that resembled questions on the tests and was overall really difficult.
Prof. Molina was one of the nicest and most accommodating profs I could ask for while being online. She emails back quickly and does everything she can to make her lectures fun and interesting. She also gives a lot of extra credit on exams and in general to help boost grades. Really was an easy A because of her teaching style. HIGHLY recommend.
Prof. Molina is one of the best teachers I could've asked for while being online. She is very accommodating and goes out of her way to make lectures fun and interesting. She did her best to give us good review material for exams and the exams aren't hard at all if you keep up with her lectures. I definitely highly recommend taking her class.
Jennifer is a great professor! I was a bit disappointed that the material in the textbook wasn't used on the exams or pop quizzes. She has you read a ton of articles and to also participate in forum discussions that are logic based. Textbook reading is optional. Exams were test heavy with complicated questions. Videos on lectures were helpful.
This has got to be the best professor of all sierra college. This class was extremely interesting and very balanced. There was a lot of review helo for exams, and a total of 4 exams throughout the semester. Discussion boards are fun and not complicated. Please if you need anthro take this professor. I assure you she is the best-hidden gem at sierra
One of the best professors I've had at Sierra. I'm a STEM major and yet she managed to make me enjoy this class. Very upbeat professor.
she is literally the best professor ever. my time at Sierra with online and everything, she was the only prof who actually cared about the students and wanted them to learn. she gives you so many amazing lectures and materials to watch and read. she makes the class fun and exciting for online. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Teacher she is so nice and not strict i would definitely take her class again she teaches very well. I got the text book but didn't use it as much
Such sweet sweet soul. Amazing lady and an absolute legend. She was going through cancer treatment throughout the course and didn't bat an eye. Passionate and learned. Fun and engaging. Leaves your heart full up over hominids and apes.
The best professor I've had. Lectures are engaging. Offers tons of exam reviews, do them and the exams will be no problem. Super passionate about anthropology and extremely willing to help/answer questions. Offers 10pts of EC. Weekly you have one discussion post to do and watch about 3 fun and short lectures. If you need to fulfill GE, take her!
Professor Molina was amazing! She was super sweet and genuinely cared about the material presented! There aren't many assignments. Mostly discussion boards and exams. If you read the material you will be able to pass! She makes it very fun and makes the readings interesting.
Professor Molina was amazing! Definitely take one of her classes if you have the opportunity. She is very funny and cares a lot about her students. And you can tell she is passionate about the content she teaches. Easy assignments and exams as long as you read the assigned lectures, textbook readings, and articles.
I loved Professor Molina so much! An angel on earth. Take her without a doubt!
I just finished the summer class, and it was jammed-packed but not stressful. The course was six weeks and fast-paced, but I still passed even with a full-time job. So keep this as a summer class if you hate the drag of school being out.
This class was amazing and Professor Molina was extremely helpful! She offered multiple ways to study such as kahoots, crosswords, and pre-exam quizzes. She offers many opportunities for extra credit and provides many resources for success on the exams. Definitely recommend!
I love Professor Molina! She is such a sweetheart, and extremely passionate about what she teaches! You can really feel the enthusiasm, even through the video lectures. There is lots of extra credit opportunities, as well as many ways to learn materials. She truly cares about everyone succeeding and sets you up for success! Loved this class a lot!
Such a nice and caring professor who genuinely loves the curriculum she teaches. Assignments consisted of just discussion board posts, which are easy if you complete all of the required readings. Take good notes from the book and lectures and you'll be fine.
This class was great, super interesting, and intriguing. Professor Molina is amazing and knowledgeable, very caring, and easy to talk to. She gave me a second chance to make up a quiz that I missed, and with all the extra credit assignments was easy to bring my grade back up.
Her ANTH 10 class is really interesting, and the workload isn't too bad. She's really passionate about the subject too and a really sweet person. I highly recommend her.
One of my favorite teachers ever. She is so caring and gives so many opportunities for extra credit and redoing your work. Her exams were fun and easy if you do all of the test prep she provides. She is very accessible and such a fun teacher. Take her class and anthropology will become a favorite subject.
Prof Molina has great lectures and provides a review sheet before each test. She also has a review game before each test and those questions are usually on the test. She grades very fairly and pretty much sets you up to do well in her class and wants to see you do well. Make sure to study and pay attention and you should do well.
Professor Molina was one of the best professors I have had, her energy and passion towards the subject was amazing. She was also incredibly knowledgeable in her field, Forensic anthropology was such a fun class to take and I am really glad I took it with her. I cannot recommend it enough
The most amazing teacher I have ever had!
I think everyone else's ratings speak for themselves. Professor Molina is great. She clearly cares, the workload is almost non-existent, and the material itself is very interesting. Every week, there's usually a short article you read. Then you make a post and a response to someone else. That's literally it. There's no reason not to take this class
Professor Molina is a phenomenal professor. I took this class because it was a requisite for my graduation. I was not expecting to end this semester wanting to learn more about anthropology. They say the teacher is responsible for making the class interesting for the student. Professor Molina has mastered this aspect. TAKE THE CLASS,U WONT RGRET IT
She is such a good professor. LOVES her job and anything anthropology. So helpful and makes class fun,
I took this class to fulfill my life science, I took Professor Molina's Bio Anthro ( Lecture not lab)class online and she's amazing! The textbook is online, you do not need to buy anything for this class. You do need to read the weekly articles, and take notes because those will help you with DB posts. 4 Exams in total and DO Kahoots will help.
She is a really good professor. The only thing I hated about this class was the assignments. There's a lot of memorizations in this class and assignments. Shes a great teacher but the assignments were a lot. If your considering taking this course just know their is a lot of work involved with this class. GREAT TEACHER though
This professor is awesome! Her lectures are fun because she integrates photos and stories from her own research trips all over the world. She is also so positive and makes learning fun. There are not many assignments except for a discussion post once a week so that means the course is lecture/reading heavy but it is manageable.
Not very caring, not responsive to questions. Lectures were very confusing.
Professor Molina is an amazing teacher who genuinely cares about her students' success. The class is relatively easy, with discussion posts and helpful study tools like Kahoots. unstuckstudy ai was a great supplement to prepare for exams.
Started with her Anth10 class and also took her Anth1 class because I like her so much. There is very little workload and she makes the class engaging. Very easy to get a high grade in her class even if you don't know the material from the start. She uses Kahoots to review in class before the test and all of the questions there are on the tests
I took Anthropology 1 online with Jennifer Molina and even though we weren't face to face, she is AWESOME! She's very passionate about Anthropology and that helps make her class enjoyable. She does her best to fully prepare you for the exams and she wants you to succeed! I really enjoyed this class, it was difficult, but not overly so.
Loved this professor! She offered so much extra credit!! 10 points individually & extra credit on each test! One discussion a week that was fun and simple! Watch the lectures sped up-take notes-read articles & you'll pass no problem! She is a wonderful professor I would love to take another one of her classes again!
I absolutely loved being in Professor Molinas course, she made learning about death enjoyable. Before taking this course I wasn't planning on doing anything related to Anthropology, but she inspired me to keep going within the Anthropology field. In this specific course you will have to memorize bones, but she helps you anyway you need it.
She is literally the most bubbly person ever even at 9am. Everything we are going to be doing during the week is said multiple times so we are not lost. she clearly says when exams are and allows a note card of notes if needed. will listen to any question you have. overall a great listener and teacher. i would definitely take this class again!!!
Took bio anthro for gen ed, and it ended up being my fav class. We had interactive activities every day (crossword puzzles, looking at fake skeletons, kahoots, etc.), and she gave us prizes from other countries! I am an introvert, but I didnt feel pressured by the class discussions. She also wrote everyone a letter on our final day of class
I've never had a negative experience going into this class. Professor Molina is the kindest professor on campus, and her content is amazing. You have to take her Anthro class!
