TOUGH GRADER. Her tests are extremely long and sometimes feel impossible -- I would be surprised to see if anyone ever got an 100 on a test of hers. Also, I was .2 off of an A.. she wouldn't round. Her class is very lecture heavy and she almost discourages discussions. VERY material heavy and focuses more on the readings than the actual content

If youre looking for credits and a simple course this is the last professor that you should take. Im a business student and had to fill a requirement so I decided on the last open class PHY 101, it was the last open class for many reasons. The professor posts at least one assignment per week but expect two as well as in class work. DONT TAKE THIS!!

She's okay as a person, but her classes are so so boring. She assigns a lot of reading with quizzes every week and her tests are way too difficult for an intro class. She says attendance isn't mandatory for a grade but if you don't go you'll probably miss some in class assignment that you can't make up.

Not one to review anything, but avoid Mulnix. I was told a note card was allowed during tests--not the case.-30 points if an assignment is submitted a second past the due date. 1-2 quizzes a week, in class assignments you get a 0 for if you miss the class no matter what. Still hasnt graded final exam/submitted final grades that were due yesterday.

Mulnix's class is no walk in the park - her tough grading and dense readings can be a real challenge. But with unstuck study and consistent effort, you can survive her course. Just be ready to put in the work.

Her lectures are always great. A lot of reading but no textbook required. The homework is very easy. PAL sessions really suck and I always dread going to them. I would honestly rather listen to her talk for hours. Kind of weird grading for open responses on exams, but the exam multiple choice and homework is easy.

Profesor Mulnix is a great profesor but i wont lie her class is hard theres alot of reading and 14 quizzes which tbf isnt bad. The bad part is her grading there is 2 exams, together 60% of your grade you need to pass both and its memory based but too much to memorize 7 readings 50 questions and quotes from readings for the exams. Dont recomend.

This class is very very tough. The two tests given in this class are very difficult and a big part of your final grade. You have to retain a lot of information to pass this class. If that is your weak point, I would not recommend. I wish I had dropped this class when I had the chance.

Professor Mulnix is a great professor. She really got to know us by learning our names and our interests. She is great at getting us to think and create our own ideas. I like how she lectures. She's engaging and keep us interested. She clearly knows what she's talking about and she's very passionate.

Gives reading assignments and quizzes are only 4 questions. No homework so each quiz is crucial in order to pass. The readings are old and hard to comprehend and her questions are not straightforward in order to confuse you.

Super kind but class is kind of difficult. Grades are 25% groupwork 25% annotations and 25% for each of 2 exams which are handwritten and kind of difficult. Tests are long as well. I recommend her but there is a lot of work in the course.

Graded off online quizzes, classwork, and 2 exams. Mulnix is very well versed in philosophy and it shows in her lectures. She is always available to help and explain things in depth so it is easily understood. Going to class is key for understanding the concepts, but attendance itself isn't graded.
