She's nice and very clear about the test. Just study from the notebook. Dont even have to look at the textbook.

Take this professor for anything she teaches. She made every class interesting and her teaching is clear. You actually learn something! Take notes and you basically don't have to read the book! She is very nice, lienent, and there for her students.

Awesome teacher! She knows the subject and, the most important, knows how to explain everything in clear, orginized manner. You will learn a lot and you will enjoy this class. I had to work on my A for quite a bit, but tests don't have challenging questions and all the answers for the test were discussed on the lectures. Just study handouts.

I LOVE Dr. O'Neil!!! Do yourself a favor and TAKE THIS CLASS. The "A" is yours if you want it. She's entertaining and knows her stuff. You'll learn alot. Textbook not needed, she has her own lecture notes, study them and you'll be fine. Great for Healthcare majors and even easier for those who don't like Science.

I LOVED Dr. O'Neil. She does not keep a grade for attendance, but I would say it is mandatory to receive an A. She gives wonderful notes and compares Biology to real life situations in a clear way that ANYONE could understand it, even me - a former "science-hater". Wish she taught all of the sciences. Dr. Oneil is very funny and nice, but I wouldn't consider her an easy teacher. She explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and gives you all the tools you need to study, but her tests are hard and you HAVE to study. You'll never find her class boring. If you're not a science person, you'll probably struggle

Prof. O'neil will probably be the best bio teacher I ever had! She makes it interesting so you're not bored to death, and has no problem going back if u get lost. You have to be in class to get all her notes because she doesn't teach from the book. As long as you come to class, study your notes and take advantage of most extra credit you will pass!

Dr. O'Neil is definitely one of my best professors ever. She makes the lecture a lot more interesting to learn. I would say her tests are not really easy; however, you can get high grades if you read the book. It would help a lot for the department final too. Nice professor. Lecture's shorter than it should be. You may feel comfortable but sometimes it's a problem. Some questions are out of what she discussed in class and short powerpoint may be difficult to understand. If u aren't good at English, a little bit challenge in the first, but you'll be ok at the end. Tests are heavy but help for final exam

If this is your first time take her class, be prepared for yourself. Biology is a heavy class, but as soon as you come to class , study the pp, do ems for credits. Then you will be fine! Tests are easy if you study, but difficult for who not review. My first test got 70, but 92 the next one. Shes nice and understanding.

Shes one of the best HCC has to offer. Shes very caring and provides plenty of opportunities for extra credit.

Great Professor! I took her for Bio 2 online over the summer 5-week session while working full time and it was all manageable. She uploads video lectures for each chapter and has practice quizzes which are all great reviews for the 4 online exams. One final which you have to take in person. You do have to work and put in an effort to get an A.

She's extremely lecture heavy but she makes them interesting. She's kind & knows her stuff. She gives lots of extra credit opps & quizzes are pretty easy. Her exams are more difficult bc she makes them herself & they're based on if you know the concept/critical thinking & not just memorizing the answers. Put in the effort and you'll do just fine.

She's an amazing professor. Loved her lectures she is very detailed and wants you to know everything. If youre not a bio major maybe don't take her. Ms. O'neal is a good professor. She will give you a review sheet to help you prepare for each exam(70%)of your grade. There are quizzes after each chapter(20%) of your grade will help prepare for the exams also. The final exam is (10%) of your grade. She gives extra credit. Be ready to read and study. Dr.O really cares. She explains a lot in her lectures. Quizzes can be tricky but they come directly from the lecture. She makes the class interesting. Test are not hard. She drops lowest quiz grade. She is a great professor, you will be well prepared for any major you are going to, you have to study the lectures and pay attention to everything she say in the lecture and you will do great.

Some of the material was hard to understand, but the professor always answered questions. Attendance is not mandatory, but if plan to miss class you will get your notes from classmates because she doesn't have her full notes on powerpoints. She writes the notes during lecture on the board and doesn't allow for pictures to be taken. She is a great!

One of the absolute best professors in my entire education history. Bio 2 is hard but she made is so easy because of her lectures. She is clear on what will come in the exam. You follow what she says you will succeed in her class. The way she teach she will actually make you remember the stuff even after a long period of time. 4 exams 1 final

took her for summer 1 and she was really nice and even though it's more fast pace she did an amazing job at helping us learn and take everything. all the test questions were on stuff she taught and was all on the study guide.

Took this class for Summer 2023. Literally just study her lectures and you'll be set for the tests and quizzes. Attendance is very necessary for this class because it is combined with lab, and the notes that she writes while teaching is very crucial on her test. Overall, this class was very fun and I would take it again for sure.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. O'Neil as my Biology 2 professor for the mini summer session. She is incredibly down to earth and an absolute genius. Highly recommend her. The 3 hr summer lectures honestly flew by thanks to her engaging teaching methods. Can't recommend her enough. If she has a spot open, definitely take it!

Dr. ONeil is a very caring professor, I had an very tough personal life that interfered with this class a lot and I was still able to manage a C. Its easy to make good grades in this class if you devote the time to it. She gives quizzes after every chapter. 4 EXAMS and the final are proctored on respondus lockdown browser.

Dr. O'Neil is easily one of the best professors. She provides you with all of the tools necessary to be successful in her class. She's a quick grader, gives good feedback, and is accessible outside of class. There's occasional homework, 10 quizzes (the lowest is dropped), 4 exams (the 4th is optional), and a final. Plus, loads of extra credit.

Very good professor, she really knows her information and is willing to slow down and explain herself. Does leave occasional homework but nothing too crazy. The only con is that she can be very rude at times and snap at her students with smart mouth responses, teaches great but have tough skin if you wanna take her class.

Even though I took her online, she is very well organized, responds quickly, and is always positive and constantly sets reminders and even fun little gifs to cheer you up over holiday breaks. Shes the best and her homework are easy! Each gives you a week to complete.

This was nutrition and it was very interesting, real life stuff. She is very kind and helpful. Tests are video monitored so you must do a good amount of reading/memorizing throughout.

Even though I failed her class she is an amazing professor. I failed because of myself I didn't study as much like I should've. She replies back on time, and provides extra credit. The Labs were pretty simple same with the quizzes. As long as you study and write notes down you will pass the class trust!
