Her midterms are m/c and 10 short answer questions. She's nice.

Young, entertaining, and fun. Makes for an enjoyable class.
Don't need to go to class, just read your text.40 M.C.and 10 fill in the blanks.
VERY sexy! Very nice and easy class
take this class!! study text, copy notes from library.. get an A
gives bonus assignments, need 2 know ur stuff if u want an A
Clear notes, have bonus but lots of extra stuff and tricky MC Qs
had to w/draw, but my fault i guess-her exams are pretty hard thou', nice and lenient
GREAT CLASS... i would reccomend this class to anyone!!! Really interesting course materials, losta videos, and great clear notes. Tests are very fair, and short, but useful projects.
As long as you know all the terms in the text, it's a piece of cake. the MC tests are easy, yo just have to read the carefully. She even posts her notes online so you don't even have to go to class. But she is a nice, interesting and helpfull.
Great personality, helpful and clear. She puts in her best, and if you put in yours, you have an A- at the very least. Hottie too.
Really nice lady and clearly very knowledgable but for some reason this class is VERY boring, notes are on WebCT so you don't really even have to go to class. Tests are decent if you do the study guide and read you should be fine in B or higher range.
very good teacher, clear, engages the whole class not just few favourite students and sexy too.
Tough but fair. Introduces each chapter with a video. Tests are multiple choice. Final is not cumulative. Read the book and study guide and you'll do fine. I wouldn't go so far as to say she is sexy but she's definitely not hard on the eyes.
not as easy as everyone says she is..it was ok..the online notes helped but some content on the test requires REAL studying..
She is not as easy as people say she is.. the wording on her tests is sometimes difficult to understand. The lectures are also very boring. You actually need to sit down and try to understand the stuff.
nice person, great instructor, very interesting class.
She is a great teacher.Very smart and likes to have fun in class at times. however she can also get serious. This type of personality along with her appearance makes her kinda sexy and attractive. Her Friendly attitude and smile made me look foward 2 class
she sucks!worst teacher i have taken!make me sleepy during class!!
Excellent teacher. If you have questions she encourages you to visit her office and "ask, ask, ask". Tests are multiple choice,u study,u pass! Really helpful and fun in class! Her lectures are not boring at all, unless it's an evening class and it's the end of the day for you. She's awsome!
Definitely not an easy course, but most of the material you'll need to know is in the text. VERY hard for me to stay awake in class, but most people didn't have trouble at all. Jennifer is very nice and approachable; I definitely recommend her.
verrrrrrry good teached BUTTTTTT wordings in her tests are terrrrrrrible. u actually have to spend most of the test time to figure what the question is.
Awsome teacher. Super clear and easy to understand. Use the study guide! Resonable studying will get you an A for sure. Just think about it befor you answer...
Very clear, helpful, organized. Excellent teacher. Material is difficult. Use the study guide/CD/WWW, practice tests are key.
She is a very nice teacher. You do not even need to go to class, all the contents are on webct.Class is a little bit boring, but very clear.Exams are ok, marks pretty fair.
Very nice and understanding. One of the best teachers at langara.
she seems nice at first but she's not. Her classes are useless, just read the book and the notes online and go to class when you have to.
teaches as if she actually wants you to do well, unlike some teachers who go out of their way to make it tricky and difficult. no one should fail if they go to class now and then and spend a couple of hours with the study guide.
One of the best teachers at Langara. Wicked class, if you don't sleep at the back...
Pointless to go to class b/c lecture notes are straight from the text AND are on Webct. Quite biased: makes it clear she dislikes you (probably for not going to class -- why put notes on web then?) I thought she was a psychologist -- she should rise above it.
Extremely boring class. Seems nice at first, but patronizes people when they talk in class. Nods her head and says "uh huh" and "yup" (100 times)-obviously can't wait till you stop talking. Lecture notes are on web and are all from text --just read the text.
Okay..I don't know where these last few ratings came from (probably those who like to sleep at the back of the class) BUT this instructor is awesome! She cares about her students. I've never seen her patronize. Her classes are interesting. She provides her lecture notes ahead of time - well organize
One of the best instructors I've ever had! You go to class, you study lecture notes (on WebCT) and text book, you get an A. She's nice but that doesn't mean she gives marks away. You actually have to do some work.
she's an incredibly boring teacher. like a few others have said, classes are pointless since her notes are from the txt so just study that.
Jennifer is a really friendly person and a good teacher. She tries really hard to make the class interesting and get the students involved, which is so much better than someone who justs lectures to a room full of blank faces. She also puts all her notes online, which makes it really easy to follow along. Definately recommended!
She likes things simple - that's why we get only multi choice exams. Dr.Poole doesn't like to ask you directly but instead she'd likely to let you make use of the theories she taught in class. She's very helpful in terms of answering your questions, but her notes are absolutely junks, forget about the note, just crunch the book and you'll be fine~.
she is an easy going teacher. there are 4 assignments and 4 term tests. she is the only teacher with 4 term tests, each from 2 chapters with exception of the final which is 3 chapters. the other professors have 3 tests each from 3 chapters which is harder to study for. her tests are tricky though because she tests on very small details.
Lovely professor, but sometimes class activities waste too much time. I'm a person for captivating lectures, questions and activities with a class over 60 ppl is 2 time consuming and unproductive. The most irrating this is that the chapter is never covered in time for the exams. Its better to get the whole picture than focus on a small area
she's hard, please make easier test on second and third and finals thanks
her exams are tricky, dont see those questions from text or lecture. very detail. omg lose that please
She is very experienced in terms of teaching quality and lecturers. BUT, lecture notes could be more helpful! I dont really get anything of the notes. The classes could be more interactive using experiments. Overall she just read the book take a look at notes and you do OK

Whao i agree to the person below me, i think she is an attractive young lady, she makes the class more interesting, if i could i would ask her out, she is bautiful...Mrs. Poole, you are one fine teahcer!
one of my fave teachers.very nice, helpful, fairly easy marker.some m.c. Q's hard. short answer questions easy.study text for m.c. and notes good for short answer.take her classes!:)
A nice professor, nice person... what else can I say? Take a class with her and don't have any doubts.
She's a really nice teacher, but her lectures are a bit on the boring side.

SHE IS SUPER NICE. VERY CLEAR ON NOTES AND LECTURE MATERIAL. PROVIDES GREAT MOVIES FOR FURTHUR KNOWLEDGE. HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOUR. TAUGHT ME LOTS ABOUT DIFFERENT DISORDERS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER SHE IS FAIR AND CARES ABOUT HER STUDENTS.... AWESOME........
Awesome teacher. Lectures easily understood.

She is a wonderful teacher! Very engaging, gets students to participate a lot, makes it interactive and gives lots of handouts to illustrate different concepts (helps a lot first thing in the morning). Her tests are clear (half multiple choice, half short answer, and she gives you a choice of many questions). All notes are posted online LOVE HER
Jennifer is a VERY GOOD teacher! Lots of very CLEAR NOTES. 3 Mids: all MCs, around 40-55 Qs, Not hard, review HER NOTES and the TEXT. Three papers - not hard, clear, if want to get an A-ask her before handig it in! Lecture is pretty interesting as long as you LISTEN to her concentrated. She is very Helpful! What else can i say... C'mon TAKE HER, y
Jennifer is a very great prof. with very clear notes, clear presentation of lecture materials and fun discussion in class. She's not intended to trick you in exam and quite straight forward. Highly recommended to upcoming students.
TAKE HER!!! So easy!!! Nice too!!! I'm a slacker & I got an A-
easy teacher! her tests are all 50 multiple choice. final exam only on the last 3 chapters, not on the whole semester! read the text book for the tests if you want to get an A.
hard teacher
Jennifer is a good teacher. I only printed out her notes from WebCT, and listen to her in lecture instead of copying her overhead notes. She is good at explaining concepts/theories,and her midterms are very easy. Just read the textbook and do the study guide, and ace this class.
Jennifer is an amazing teacher. She is clear and... wait for it... INTERESTING!!! That doesn't happen often! I don't think anybody should take her so that I won't have any problems getting into her classes in the future! I very much look forward to having her teach my classes in the future. She's amazing.
I'll tell u the details in short. A lot of students are in her class, she has her notes on webCT, but if u don't attend her classes it might be hard to understand each subject cuz she goes over everything in details which is VERY helpful, she doesn't care a/b attendance as long as u turn in ur work, tests are simple, n u MUST read the txtbooks!!
She was an awsome prof it's been years now but I still remember enjoying her class. She is so pretty.
Jennifer is an awesome teacher. She gives you clear notes, and simple assignments to help earn your grade. The tests can be tricky. Make sure to read the text and understand topics/terms that are bold and italicised and you should do fine. The topics were interesting and I feel that I learned to use my text & ended up getting a great grade:)
tests are somewhat tricky..and it's kind of mandatory to attend her lectures cuz lecture materials come up on the tests! if u read each chapter twice and review the lecture notes, u will do fine.
She is a very good teacher, notes are clear , she makes class interesting , very nice and extremely helpful
awesome professor!
The professor gives very difficult exams.=(
Very nice person. Her tests can be tricky. Be sure to read the textbook. There are always questions on the test of stuff she talked about it lecture so it is important to go.
she's so pretty and really nice! tests were a dream.. just do what you're supposed to do: read the book! very easy. for the short answer, write as much as you can think of. there were questions i was unsure of, but did that, and somehow got full marks.
A really great teacher. Her tests are easy if you attend class regularly.
She's good.a darling.v.helpful.fair marker,bt I sumtimes think she shudv b****an english prof coz she looks 4 tenses, sentence structures extensivly :P easy midterms, but LOTSA other stuff:essays, articles, seminars, and posters :( she's still great!!!her clases are interesting with videos.she posts the notes online.so just print them b4hand and chill.
Jennifer is so cute!! I really liked her because she was very sincere &helpful. Like people have said she posts her notes online, so just print them and go to class because she goes pretty fast paced if you try to just copy them down. And tests were pretty easy always 100% multiple choice & there are no essays yessss!!
Notes are all online, you really don't need the textbook. Exams were 50MC. Show up to class, pay attention, and read the notes; it'd be pretty hard to fail.
Jennifer always keeps the class interesting by giving us simple yet amusing examples. She is very kind and is open to all sorts of questions. I like her all-mcq exams !
I LOVE HER! Such a great teacher! Excellent way of teaching, and if you do not write the notes in class (which is all powerpoint) they are always available to you on the internet. She is a teacher that WANTS YOU TO DO WELL. Excellent teacher.
Jennifer is a super nice teacher, but her classes are dry and hardly filled with information. You are able to pass this class not attending the inclass portion. Her lectures are full of minimal examples and a lot of unanswered questions.
This is the second psychology course I have taken with Jennifer. She is a very kind and approachable teacher who is always willing to help. Tests are somewhat hard so make sure to study lots. I would definitely recommend her!
BEST TEACHER! her NONCUMMULATIVE midterms and finals only consist of MC questions. She made the class really interesting. Definitely did not feel bored eventhough the class was in a lecture hall with so many people around
Jennifer is a great teacher. She's very open-minded and encourages her students to be as well. Psyc2320 is a very dry course in general but she tries to make it interesting. She's big on group discussions, posts all of her powerpoint notes online, and is well organized and always prepared. Watch your grammar/punctuation-she will dock a lot of marks
Previous posts are pretty accurate. I found her a little disorganized compared to other instructors & she was a little vague in expressing her expectations but DEFINATELY take this course with her over anyone else. Her tests are pretty easy if you read the text and do the online practice quizzes. I got a B+ in her course with avg/below avg effort.
Jeniffer researches the topic at hand before teaching the class. She is very professional and has a very integrative and interactive approach to teaching. She is helpful, productive, and overall her tests consist of what she teaches.
Jennifer is really about the students. She does research before hand and does these powerpoints every class for us to process information easier. She's very approachable as well, so don' t be afraid to ask anything. And lastly, for term tests, you HAVE to read the text book, because most of the questions are from there.
If you don't like sitting in class 4 hours a week take the hybrid course! Although i felt that i didn't need to go to class, she made it fun and interesting! Test were very easy (all MC) and online work was just posting a few discussions online. easy 10% right there. i highly recommend taking her!!
She is an awsome teacher! She is very enthuastic which makes me not want to fall asleep while listening to her lectures. She always has interesting slides up to show us and gets us to actively participate in lectures. Exams are multiple choice. Hybrid course is quite easy!
Really sweet and caring, and a great teacher! I would take her again.
Took her course with a WWW component. Follows text, attending class was not mandatory as long as you read the textbook it should be fine. Great instructor, will give help when needed. Multiple choice midterm and final was not difficult. I recommend reviewing the study guide as some questions are similar to those on the exams.
really fun and nice teacher. say "OK" alot during the lecture, which is funny :P but she is a really good and passionate teacher.
I took the half-online course. Her lectures were always interesting and she encourage students to actually critically think about the material. Very friendly and approachable. She did indeed say "OK" a lot but its not really noticeable unless you're really looking for it :P
Easy marker. Did her best to make Research Methods an interesting class... which is a really difficult thing to do. Becomes visibly annoyed with irrelevant/repetitive questions (which is awesome).
Very helpful teacher and willing to answer questions. She makes the lectures more fun and they helped me learn more. Exams are all MC and based on the readings
Jennifer is a great teacher and a very approachable nice person. Her tests and all MC which can be a little tricky. She's HOT too lol. I definitely would take her again
Great teacher. Energetic, helpful and always keeps the class entertained. Exams are easy and based on the textbook. Quite a bit of reading to do prior class. Do ALL the activities and discussions for easy marks.
Really nice teacher, helpful. Online activities are extremely easy (easy marks there). Just read the text understand it and attend class
Good teacher, very friendly and quite helpful.
At first I thought she was very nitpicky about our papers and assigns but since being at UBC I have gotten As on all of my papers! Definitely take her class because she will set you up with the skills you'll need down the road. I have written a paper in most of my psyc classes and I'm so glad I got the practice in her class - shes very supportive!
She is the bestttttt. Her classes are fun and learn a lot. she explains everything well. the tests are fair and if you study you can get a good mark easily. SHE CARE ABOUT STUDENTS ALOT. TAKE HER FOR SURE YOU WON't REGERET
Jennifer is GREAT. This course is super straight forward, and she gives plenty of opportunities to raise your grade. Do the bonus activities! The mixed mode class had tight deadlines, but homework and assignments are doable as long as you do the assigned readings and interactive activities!
Jennifer is amazing! Research methods is a really heavy course but she guides you along seamlessly. She is very clear in her lectures, and goes out of her way to help you if you seek it. You can tell she really knows what she's talking about and that she really cares. Only wish she taught more classes!!
Jennifer is awesome!I'm taking her mix mode course and we have some easy online assignments and once-a-month discussion in class. Her quizzes are all MC questions. Take her class! Easy to get high marks :)
Teaches a multi-model course. Dr Poole is extremely helpful and attempts to use many forms of resources to teach. Very engaging class.
she seems very judgmental... like if you have a low mark. she views it as if you're not trying hard even if you are. i did end up with an A in her class it's just this vibe i get from her like she never wants to talk to you when i try to ask her some ques
Dr Poole is an incredibly thoughtful and caring proff. She is engaging, interactive and uses multiple ways of teaching the material. Keep up to date on the online quizzes and assignments and with a little study you'll ace this class and have a blast!
For me, her class was a bore! She's a nice lady and all, but I felt like I was in a kindergarten class. Lectures just recapped textbook where she would ask you to think about something already discussed (why?), and her MC tests were actually very tricky. Had to study beyond the textbook.. Overall, wasn't moved from Dr. Poole.
She's nice and all but if you take her course you're going to have to expect to spend a lot of money... and a lot of time on assignments than gaining something from her lectures which seem more like being in a game show by force.
I'm in her social psychology class and I find the class kind of boring. Not necessarily because of her, she's a really nice person, but the material itself is really convoluted and dry. If you ask for help, it's there. Sometimes I don't feel like she is clear enough though. Also a tougher grader.
I would take a class with her again.
She is a really nice teacher, she puts in a lot of effort in her lectures, she LOVES engaging the class in fun classroom activities. She is just a REALLY good teacher. Would definitely take her class again! :) She is easy to approach, if you ask for help she will definitely help you as much as she can.
Brutal teacher wouldn't recommend taking her class.
She's great! Helpful and considerate. She is available to help and answer questions and she is supportive. She prefers to be addressed professionally, so always give her the respect of calling her Professor. She's a great teacher!
Jennifer was such a genuine, lovely, and especially caring as a prof and person! I took the mixed mode with her, her lectures were engaging and she thoroughly explained each topic in detail. Her exams/final are m/c, along with 4 short answers. Keep up with Launchpad activities throughout the term. Thank you for an amazing semester, Dr. Poole! :)
Take the mixed mode course with her, the online portion should be an easy 20 percent of your grade if you put the time in, and it will give you everything you need for the exams. Her lectures kind of just repeat stuff from the textbook but this helps you remember the important stuff and gives an idea of what will be on the exams. She's nice too.
Dr. Poole is a very good at teaching her students. She is available for office hours and always responds to email. Exams are straight forward, study/read material and you will pass with good grade. Exams are mc with for short answer questions. Great course, amazing caring teacher.
She is an amazing professor i ever had. This course is easy but u really need to devote your time. Visit her weekly she will give you good feedback. Moreover the online module of this course is easy and grade booster. I would definitely recommend her.
She is an absolutely amazing teacher. She is really kind and understanding. Ask her for feedback and she will give you the best help. Her classes are really fun. There is communication among students. She is a fair grader. Overall she is the best.
Jennifer is a very good professor. She is very "for the student" and works hard to make sure that we all get the best marks that we can. She comes of a tad pretentious at times, but it happens so rarely that it didn't really affect me at all. She's sweet, very nurturing to her students, and all in all, is a great choice for a psych prof.
Jen is a very good prof! Her eam are straight forward,MC and short answers. Just read the text and you will get a good grade. She uses launchpad and participation marks to bump your mark up. Strongly recommand her.
Jen is a great prof! She uses launchpad to boost our grades up and it worth more than the midterm. Speaking of mid-terms, they are straightforward, MC and short answers and would cover four chapters. Plus, the final is the same thing. Also, at the end of the semester, she would recommend us to attend research groups for bonus marks.
Take her class because she is awesome!
She is a super amazing professor who is always ready to help her students. Her way of teaching makes the lectures super fun. I will always recommend her.
She is perfectly Lit. One of the best lecturer I have ever met. She is really caring and easy to go.
Jennifer is an awesome teacher. Expectations are really clear. She's a very fair teacher. She allows you to miss a few classes and deducted your lowest mark from quizzes and homework. I really enjoyed her lectures . She is eloquent and easy to listen to. There's no term paper in the class! This class helped boost my GPA
Go ahead and take Jennifers class. She is the best.
Jennifer is really nice and her class is simple enough. Read the textbook, go over her slides, do the papers and show up to class. Tests are 90 mc but they are fair and you'll do well as long as you do all the online activities and read the tb. Her lectures are very enganging and they help you understand the studies taught. Excellent class.
Really nice and super engaging during class, took her mixed mode class and there is fairly a lot to do with the online portion, found myself only committing my time to reading and doing the online activities. 1 midterm and then a final both on 6 chapters each and tons of papers. Go to class, do papers, do the online activities and should be good
Jennifer is one of the best profs at Langara. Her lectures are information-heavy, but her slides make it easy to take good notes. I visited her office hours several times and she was always provided helpful advice and explanations. It is a straightforward course as long as you follow along with the textbook and Launchpad activities weekly.
Jennifer is really great at explaining concepts, providing examples, and answering any questions. I felt a disconnect between the online portion (& practice exams) & lecture content vs. the midterm and final exam. The online portion takes a surprising amount of time/effort and the exams are tricky! Really enjoyed the class overall.
This is a lecture heavy class, we have a big group project with a poster presentation and a research paper. As well as a midterm and final exam. HOWEVER, Jennifer makes the class very interesting, and she is very clear on what she expects from the beginning of the semester. You should attend all her lectures, and complete all online activities!
She is a great professor overall but her final exam is really tough and can easily take you from A+ to A- It is a tough course but she teaches it very organized and is very approachable. You have to put a lot of work. She is a tough grader though
Jennifer is an amazing prof. She's always excited when she teaches class, you can tell she really enjoys what she does. The research paper comes with a poster presentation. She's extremely helpful and will help you and your group along each step of the paper. She will help if you're unsure how to read your research data.
This rating is skewed because of the pandemic. Before the pandemic, Poole was a great professor. She was passionate about the material, clear, supportive, and accessible. However, after the pandemic she became the opposite: difficult to contact, resistant to help, high expectations, and didn't acknowledge the impact of the crisis.
She is very kind and helpful. She listens to everyone and tries to engage every student in the class. She comes up with some fun activities for group participation. She explains everything clearly. The slides are full of information. Anyone can get good grades easily. I would recommend this professor to everyone.
Jennifer is a great professor! All the notes and quizzes were done through Launchpad with everything in the textbook. She was very caring and was there to help if needed. Her midterms and final exam is quite challenging, especially the short answers; they need to be very specific from the textbook. She's someone I would recommend.
I took her online class and it was good. Not boring but not anything special but thats typical for a intro class. Be ready to participate, there is mini chapter activities and quizzes every week but they are really good for learning the information, I never fully read the text only the key points and I managed to do well
Nicest prof ever. Your mark is split into many small parts which is really useful (quizzes, homework content, mini-papers). There is a lot of reading and watching short homework videos every week but the quizzes are easy. Exams are 60m/c and 5 short answers, but if you prepare you'll do well. The content is pretty interesting too.
This is my 2nd course with her, she's the best! I genuinely enjoy what she teaches and she has great lessons that actually help you learn, retain, and like what you're in the class for. Be ready to complete the homework, there is a good amount but all due weekly and very manageable. Absolutely recommend!
One of the best prof I had so far. There is a lot of weekly mini quizzes, lectures videos , small assignments and some papers but manageable. The short answers on her exams are a little difficult as she excepts it to be detailed.
Jennifer is a great prof. I found her lectures to be engaging and informative. There were four mini papers to be done throughout the semester out of about ten topic choices. Her exams were straightforward and she is a reasonable marker.
It's obvious she cares about her students. She did a significant job in preparing us for the midterm/final. There is a decent amount of work to be done but it's all relatively easy and it helps a lot in learning the material and being ready for the tests. She's an easy maker and her exams are a good difficulty level.
This course has a very heavy workload. It is very interesting but the readings can get a bit much if you are taking lots of other courses as well. Dr. Poole is also very knowledgable and guides you to the correct answers. Each chapte has 7-9 mini quizzes, 1 chapter quiz, 1 reading reflection, 1 discussion, and 1 mini-paper option (you pick 4/10).
Dr. Poole is very knowledgable, you can tell by the way she explains the concepts in her mini-lectures. Her midterm and final exams were slightly difficult compared to her quizzes. There are 4 mini-papers you would choose to write out of 10 options. She is very good at giving feedback and is a quick marker! She also responds to emails quickly.
Jennifers super friendly, but the workload in this course was HEAVY. Every week you read a ch, do 9-10 small quizzes, a discussion board, reading reflection, chapter quiz, and you pick 4 mini paper write. Quizzes, DB, RR and ch quiz are easy, but for the final she's very particular about the short answers. Overall easy A if you put in the work.
She is very clear about what needs to be done each week, including a checklist. There's LOTS to do each week, but doing the work is not superfluous, it is all useful for understanding the content. Lots of marks for just completion. If you do the work, you will get a good mark. Love how clear and knowledgeable she is. Super fair.
The only reason I would not take a class with Doctor Jennifer Poole is because she told me not to. Get ready to have fun and receive a lesson you have never thought you would ever come about in your entire lifetime. Her class is unlike you will ever experience ever again.
Worst, Worst and toxic teacher in our solar system. Don't ever take her class. Never recommend.
The course itself is exciting. It is offered only online, and we didn`t have any interaction with Jennifer. You read and study everything by yourself. There are 3 papers mandatory and A LOT OF homework every week. Jennifer reacted to feedback after the first midterm and made the next one easier. Take if you`re genuinely interested in social psy.
Lots of homework
Homework and papers were manageable but the exams were hard for me.
-Work load was huge and overwhelming -Course load is time consuming and stressful when taking other courses -Hard marker -I felt as though this instructor is unaware of the barriers to education some students face -Too high of expectations and very inflexible
cares about her students learning and retaining info. tests were so hard! Even if you spent hours studying, they were tricky questions that other instructors' exams don't compare to. The weekly homework is overwhelming when balancing other classes. I love social psych but would not take this instructor again since I care about my GPA
From prerecorded videos, she seems sweet and nurturing. This online class was well structured considering there were no 'live' classes. A LOT of weekly assignments (she says to spend 10h per week on this class - do it, track your time). Exams short answer questions - DIFFICULT, she's a tough grader.
Heavy, heavy work load. In general, I don't recommend Psychology course as an elective.
langara please get another social psychology professor.
langara pls get a new sociology professor. Work load way too much.
Jennifer is caring and goes out of her way to help students as long as they reach out to her. However, be ready for a ton of homework. She expects at least 10 hours of work put into each week. Tends to be a heavy grader on papers and written exam portions. I wouldn't recommend taking her course with others if you care about having a job/social life
Grades are only given if you write a proper point to point description.
Though challenging, this class is well-structured. Lots of weekly assignments, but the work is meaningful. Exams are tough - she's a tough grader. unstuck AI was super helpful for prepping. Overall, an engaging course if you're interested in social psych.
