As long as you show up and go to class she is the best professor you can get. She is super easy and fun and will help you with about anything you ask her to do. Really cares about her students.

She's super sweet. As far as the class goes, it's just normal math, but she goes over everything in a way that everyone has a chance to understand. She tries to make it easy on everyone. She really cares, as all professors should. Attendance is "mandatory," but she usually posts all her notes and announcements on canvas, so I wouldn't stress it.

She made our class sing a song about the quadratic formula. Shes such an awesome professor that understands the stress of being a freshman student and helps with that. There is homework but its work at your own pace. So much fun going to class! Bring her coffee and youll leave class early! Definitely recommend her as college algebra class!

This professor is amazing. Tests are online with no time limit and gives you about a week to complete one test. If you have a question she is always more than welcome to help you understand. She makes sure you make a good grade and get your work turned in. Highly recommend!!!

Professor Reed is a BLESSING to UNCCs math department. I am no where near a math person but she helped me through it. Professor Reed is willing to help all students that line up at her desk after class and I really appreciated that. She truly understands that not everyone who takes stats is a math major and teaches it in a way everyone understands

By far the best math teacher/professor throughout all my years of schooling. She makes things so easy to understand and she is very nice. Rarely uses the full class time (it's a late class) and all the homework/quizzes/tests are online. You also have unlimited attempts to do the homework. Easy A, highly recommend!!

Professor Reed is amazing and kind and she's incredibly open and accessible to helping students. The course for me was very hard because I'm not a math oriented student but Professor Reed is very helpful and wants to see all of her students succeed. I recommend taking her for sure.

I loved her class! She is super nice and it was an easy class to get an A in. She lets you use your notes on all the quizzes and tests. Don't buy the textbook, we never used it. All our homework was on hawkes

She is so sweet. I have a very hard time with math but she has made it enjoyable and getting a good grade in this class is within reach for me which is rare. I cant wait to take her stats class.

I literally changed my schedule to have this woman as my professor again. (Had her for MATH-1100, will be taking STAT-1222) She is so caring and understanding. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Seriously she is absolutely the best and really great at explaining the math she does to someone (me) who isn't really really a math person.

I am not a math person AT ALL and am going to finish the class with a high A. I switched into her class and am so thankful I did. Her lectures go by fast because she is clear and thorough. She also drops lowest grades.

Nothing but kind words to say about professor reed. I had for general math and emailed her basically begging her to teach me for STATs too. She is so amazing, has great lectures and lots of opportunities to get an A. All you have to do is try. Seriously she is amazing I can even put it into words.

Professor Reed is a very good professor, her lectures are very descriptive and if you take notes it will make your life very easy in her class. The exams come basically straight from the homework. She does give tons of homework, but it is not very difficult and will be a good way to study for test. It is an easy A if you really apply yourself.

Professor Reed truly cares about her students, she also makes sure to give opportunities to raise your grade. Class is pretty much mandatory because you have to get notes but she usually let us out early and never overloaded us with information. Reed will provide a website so you can buy access to do your homework, do not buy the textbook.

Prof Reed is great! Lectures are very clear and she really cares about her students. Prof Reed always answered questions clearly and posted all lectures (online and in-person) onto canvas. She provided good exam review and was easy to contact through email.

If you have to take Intro to Stats take her class it's as simple as that. She is the nicest teacher ever very caring.

She is nice, and she worked with me a lot to understand what imaginary numbers are. The only downside to her is she uses hawkes learning which can get very repeditive. But overall she helped me a lot.

TAKE HER! She is the best teacher for this course. She will sit down with you and go through what you need help on. She sends out lots of videos to help you better understand the concepts and takes notes with you in class. She really cares about her students and will do fun things that will make you want to come to class.

If you have to take Statistics take it with Professor Reed!! Best professor I've ever had. I was so nervous about taking this course. I have not taken a math class since high school and it was always my worst subject. She makes math easy and fun. Homework assignments are tedious but as long as you complete everything you can absolutely get an A!

Professor Reed was amazing and caring. It's rare that you would come across a professor that's understanding and generous as this one was. If you need to take STATS, I recommend taking Professor Reed. Her communication was excellent. Please believe all of her 5 star ratings on here. I was never afraid to ask her a question in class or after class.

Prof. Reed is very understanding and flexible reguarding class work. If your ever struggling, if you reach out, there is a good chance she will be able to cut you some slack on some of the homework. I'm definitely going to try and take her higher level math courses as well.

I suck at math to put it simply, and I have an A in this class. She makes things easily understandable, you have plenty of time to get your work done, get out of class early, and never feel overwhelmed. Shes awesome and honestly one of the best professors Ive ever had. Take this class

LOVE HER. W TEACHER. W CLASS. She's by far one of the best professor at charlotte. She cares a lot about her students and her tests are very clear and straightforward. Lots of group work but just pay attention to her lectures/videos and you'll be fine.

Really kind and takes time to address anyone's questions. Downside is she is very busy due to teaching high school math classes as well. Because of that, her office hours are slim to none but she provides her phone number for texting at any time convenient to students for questions or updates. She has a supportive mom vibe.

Professor Reed is absolutely fantastic. I dread math classes, but I'm leaving her statistics course with a high A! She's so nice, and with RealizeIt assignments you can always go back and redo them for a higher grade. I found her class to be pretty easy. You'll do a lot with your group, but even those assignments were straightforward and simple.

When it comes to being a helpful mentor, Professor Reed is as good as you can get. As someone who has struggled with math in the past, I can confidently say the professor did a great job at making sure the class was able to understand the material being taught and is overall an incredibly nice and caring person as well.

Coming into this class i was anxious because math is not my strong subject, but professor reed really does care for her students. The homework is a pain, but just keep up with your work. The test are just like the practice and the final exam, is really easy. Just STUDY!

She offers surveys throughout the semester for extra credit. Attendance is mandatory the first few weeks and then she only occasionally takes attendance. She has been my favorite professor so far.

Dr. Reed is the best math teacher I have ever had. I've always been horrible at math but this semester, I've truly excelled. She is super helpful and easy to talk to. There is a lot of group work though, which I got lucky with a good group. Overall, I suggest everyone should take a class with her as she has really gotten it all figured out.

She cares about her students understanding the material but also about your well-being. She made this class super doable. One piece of advice is to watch the videos!! Also start the RealizeIt homework early!!

I love Ms.Reed she treats her students like her own kids just so respectful and understanding. I missed my exam because of a flat tire and without hesistation she let me take it and extended the deadline for me. She is so helpful when it comes to teaching she'll help you understand any problem so fast. I never felt mentally burden by this class.

Professor Reed is amazing! Her class is not hard, you just have to pay attention to the videos she plays in class and participate in group work.

Professor Reed is one of the few mathematicians at UNCC that are easy to understand and help you. She moves on a whole class, homework is easy, test are identical to pre-test, she docent mind helping during and after test. She has the only TA's who are competent enough to actually assist you with questions. Overall would take again.

She explains content clearly and is easily accessible if you have further questions about the content or the course. There are weekly home works online but they're easy if you use the lecture notes. Attendance is mandatory but she often ends class 10 or 15 minutes early. There are study guides for all tests and she prepares you well.

Great teacher, she simplifies concepts, and doesn't mind helping all students individually. Really cares about students understand the content and is flexible with her assignments and grading. Will answer any question you have no matter how silly.

Prof Reed was great but she can be strict sometimes. I recommend not to use your phone while she's talking. Her lectures sometimes feel like you're back in high school, and she takes attendance seriously.

She is pretty strict on attendance and switches up how she does it depending on the day. There are lots of EC opportunities throughout the course, and easy assignments as some quiz grades. Lecture-heavy, she does not stop talking for the entire 75 minutes.

Professor Reed is a great teacher, she doesn't assume you know topics and goes over the basics. I highly recommended her, Im not good at math and got an A in the class! Attendance is done by a google form online and theres a word of the day that you have to be in class to have, if you go to her lectures you'll do fine in the class.

Although algebra is rough, she tries her best to explain each set of problems we go through. She is very informative on algebra and is a great teacher! As long as you show up to class, take notes, and do the homework, you will pass!

I think Reed is a great teacher. Her class is not overly hard and as long as you have a basic understanding of math you will do okay. My only complaint is that she does not respond to emails. I always had to reach out to the TA to get my questions answered.

Amazing professor that I would recommend everyone. She really knows how to teach Statistics. Homework every week but it is not horrible. There are 4 tests before the final with plenty of time to prepare for each one. She is very understanding with sick days. Obviously not always an easy class because stats isn't easy but she is very helpful.

There are very few professors who cause a lasting impression and Professor Reed has definitely left a positive one on me. She is very thorough and detailed. She is also very good at teaching. I would definitely take her again.

She was a great professor and taught at a beginner-friendly level. I'm horrible at math, but I did okay. Do good on the homework and tests because the final is 25% of your grade. Just attend class and watch the videos, and you'll be okay. The people you also sit with at your table will be your group for the whole semester, so pick carefully.

This Professor is the best one; she cares for her students, is lovely, and sweet. If you need any help, she will do all the necessary arrangements to help you. If you can retake her for any provided class, please do; she's the best. I'm not a big math person, however, she helped me a lot for me to earn that grade.

The class itself is not difficult; it is just a lot of information per unit. My only complaint is the TA, Cory, who is passive-aggressive and generally not the best teacher when Reed is absent.

I came into this class being scared I was going to fail my first college math course, but she started with the basics. Teaches so well and engages with the class. The tests are VERY similar to the practice tests. There was a few pop quizzes towards the end of the semester, but they are insanely easy and like two questions. Attendance is mandatory.

Echoing basically every other positive review, Ms. Reed is an excellent and very kind teacher. Her grading isn't super harsh despite being a test-heavy class and she always explains everything in a way easy to understand, but will elaborate as needed. Genuinely takes criticism and takes it to heart. I didn't find the class hard, though some do.
