I`m taking her right now and she is awesome. Her lectures are organized and clear, her tests are based on the notes she gives and if you miss the date of your speech, she lets you make it up. I thought I would hate this class but I dont :)

She's a very smart lady. She's a super hard grader and a little unfair(takes too many points off without having a point system) for grading. Emails the notes which is cool. Comes off cold but is really sweet when you talk to her one on one. Show her that you're working hard (kiss ass).

At first i wanted to take the all famous Anderson for Speech, but i'm glad i didnt, Prof. Rosenberg is THE BEST,i actually had fun in her class. I MISS HER CLASS! I will never forget it.

she is an extremely hard, but fair grader. i got B's on all of my speeches, but still got an A in the class by doing well on the tests. the tests are SO easy, just follow the study guide and you'll do fine. She is very very very nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend her, just don't slack off and do your work.

I can't be sure if Prof. Cohen helped make public speaking easier for me, but I do know that she was nice and helpful throughout the course, and although I got a B average on all my speeches, her super easy midterm and final helped me earn the A I needed. This isn't a class you should be afraid to take, Prof. Cohen is a good teacher.

GREAT!!! The best I have taken so far! I am ESL, but I got an A. Speeches are the most important. 2 tests, that I did not prapere for, but if you are in class awake and not dumb, you'll get atleast a B. 3 speeches. If you follow guidlines and put some effort - al least B. 2 speech revies (of classmates, you choose) - write what you think. BEST!!!!!

makes you feel really comfortable! i hated speech and was deadly afraid of it, but by the middle of the semester, i got over it. alot of preparation for the speeches but tests are easy. highly recommended!!!

Speech 101&122 were definitely my 2 fav classes. A lot of fun. I was deathly afraid of public speaking b4 her class, now I want to teach the same classes. She is an amazing teacher. She is very liad back and easy going. She allows some make ups and the test are pretty easy (you can pass them without reading the book, I did!!) She knows lectures are boring and keeps them short when she can. A plus is that she lets class out early most of the time. When I think about it, the only times we got out in time were speech days.

Professor Rosenberg is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. You will actually look forward to going to her class. If you put effort into writing and practicing your speeches, you'll do great. She's interesting, intelligent, fair, and very funny. I highly recommend her, especially for honors!

When I started the class public speaking was one of my worst fears. I'm glad to say its not anymore. This professor makes things very comfortable and is a really good person. A lot of group activities made this class fun and brought out the best in everyone. As far as grading, to get an A you have to really work it. I'm glad to have taken her class

Professor Rosenberg is one of the greatest professors yet. she is extremely student friendly- she wont bore you to death with lectures, instead she will put you in groups so you can understand the material better. she is VERY clear in everything she does. make sure you follow instructions and attend class, you will do fine :)

I took honors with her. A easy B but hard for an A. I got an A barely. She says she is going to be hard next time to her honors kids so do not take her if you do not have too. She is not too bad. You have to do three speeches and then there are minor assignments which are easy points to pick up besides her mid term. You will learn in her class.

One of the most genuinely helpful and approachable professors you will ever meet! Prof. Rosenberg will make you earn every single point in your grade, but gives you every single point you earn. You will learn something in every class meeting. Speech 101 is the ONLY class I have ever taken where I actually enjoyed small group assignments.

Mrs. Rosenberg is a wonderful professor. She's young and is still able to communicate with the students on their level. I do not look for easy classes, I like to learn and although I was suprised at the depth and difficulty of this class,she is open to constructive criticism. Also she is keeping the standards at Pierce high, which keeps up its good reputation, which is beneficial if you want to transfer somewhere besides CSUN.

Rosneberg's a sweetheart, and her honors class was such an easy A. You read stories once a week and take super easy quizzes, there are also a few papers which are a piece of cake. Speaking of cake, during the final you get to bring food and eat it. Take her, she's great, you learn stuff, and it's easy.

Wonderful teacher who teaches by example as much as by lecture. The book is audio, and not really necessary, everything comes from class. All lecture notes are online too. Knows how to keep the class engaged. Grades fairly, especially for something daunting like public speaking.

By far one of the best professors at Pierce, such a great teacher that this is the second class I have taken with her. Stimulates class with interesting topics for discussion and utilizes group activities to ensure the entire class understands the material. Most speeches are extemporaneous with note cards, timed, 4 speeches total.

Took this class Spring 2010. Was very relaxed and easy. She gives a grading rubric for the speeches so you know exactly what she is looking for. just know your topic, give a natural delivery and you'll be fine. 4 speeches, 2 multiple choice tests. She has a great personality and is easy on the eyes...

The best professor ever, literally. She is very understanding & caring to her students. Also makes the class fun so that you won't die out of boredom. Lectures aren't overwhelming and exams are very easy. Speeches can be hard if you don't like public speaking, however she will help you throughout the process if you go to her for help.

She is so sweet, helps you when you need it and is understanding if an emergency comes up. There are three papers, a final project and lots of in class activities. All notes are online and is willing to help you get a good grade on the three papers that are an integral part of her class.

She is one of the most genuine professors. Her class is so interesting and insightful. Learned a lot and had tons of fun doing it. She is very understanding when it comes to grading and extremely sweet and helpful. Her class was one of my favorite lectures. I was comfortable with public speaking before taking her class, but I learned so much from Professor Rosenberg. She is so knowledgable and did a great job of teaching us how to give successful extemporaneous speeches. Our class became really close by the end of the semester because of the group activities she gives. I definitely recommend her!

She really makes the class comfortable enough to want to give a speech. She is not very specific on grading the content of your speeches or what exactly you do once giving your speech (ex. hand placement), but she is very clear on what she expects. 1 intro speech, 1 Informative, 1 persuasive, 1 culture(informative) and a impromptu speech. 2 tests.

Took her Fall 2016 and I miss her class already. Such a fun and engaging class. She gives great feedback and helps you overcome your stage freight. Genuinely and amazing professor who is easy to talk to. You can make several friends in the class as well. Don't slack off, it's too much of an easy class to be lazy.

Favorite professor I've ever had! Had her for both comm 101 in fall 2016 and comm 122 in spring 2017. She is so organized, thoughtful, caring, and overall generous to all of her students. Grading is fair, she prepares you well, and gives feedback. She is also available to help you outside of class and responds to emails well. REALLY recommend her!

Comm 122 is very fun and engaging! Gives you a whole new different perspective because it's about intercultural communication. Don't skip class cause she does take points off because of in-class activities, which I did oops. Your final is a presentation and you have the option of doing it solo or duo but no more that two per a group.

Lectures are direct and relatable. Lots of group discussions. Don't be afraid to talk to her when it comes to improving grades. Assignments require you to have time in your schedule to do off campus activities.

By far one of the most caring and inspirational professors at Pierce. Her main focus is collaborative learning and she is deeply passionate about bettering higher education. PLEASE take her, you will not regret it!! You're the best, Professor R!!!

Best proffesor ever!

Professor Rosenberg is honestly the most fun professor I have ever taken at Pierce college. She is a passionate professor who really cares about the success of her students, which is unfortunately rare. I cant recommend her highly enough. Whether this class is for your major or just an elective, you will not regret taking Professor Rosenberg.

I truly enjoyed her and she seemed pretty fond of me too. Her feedback was always really helpful and she catered to everyone's needs. Super chill and not crazy or robotic so I am so glad I took her for Comm. Doing the speeches were pretty easy, we had about 5, intro, informative, persuasive, impromptu, and Music speech for our final.

Professor Rosenberg is such an amazing teacher!! Shes sweet and caring. She uses the book. PRojects are all powerpoints. This class has helped me alot speak infront of my other classes and made me be a better people person. Highly reccomend her!!!!

One of the easiest classes i've taken. Don't need to take notes because she posts study guides online that the exam are based on-- most of it is common sense anyways. You have to do a few paper but REALLY easy and short. 1 final group project- again, really easy. 3 exams. We didnt have a final exam. She's also very chill with absences/tardies.

Professor Rosenberg really cares about her students learning. I learned so much through the outside school projects she gave us. Also, She led very engaging discussions in class. She made the class fun and also stretched us to learn more about others and their cultures.

I took her class during summer and her class was just the perfect class for summer. you can relax and still get A. Jennifer Rosenberg is very nice and make the class a very comfortable place for the students to give their speeches. during summer we had 4 speeches which were very easy. all you have to do to prepare for the speeches are practice.

Best professor I've ever had! She is so caring of her students and makes every lesson relatable and easy to understand. She's big on group participation which is great because she allows everyone to give their opinion on the topic we're discussing which keeps everyone involved. I also took her Comm 101 class and would take her again :)

Amazing, caring professor. Her tests were based on the notes, which she provides on canvas so you don't have to write them if you don't want to. Her lectures are captivating and she includes a lots of group discussions. She gave a couple papers and one presentation but they weren't that difficult. On our class's final she let us take it in groups.

A lot of group work during class but very easy class, she helps you get out your shell. The writing assignments are submitted online and shes very caring

I hate public speaking, but I would take this class 1000 times if it meant having Professor Rosenberg as my teacher again. I've never had a professor give feedback like she does. By the end of the class I was literally excited to do speeches just to hear what she thought of it. She made giving speeches so easy and I would die for her.

This teacher is great you will not regret taking her. You can tell she cares about her students. You actually learn a lot in this class about the real world and real world problems which I think is really important and useful. This class is active and fun you wont fall asleep haha. Overall just a great class.

It was a Winter hybrid class. She is so nice and understanding. When I would do my speeches, I felt I did HORRIBLE, somehow she would always give me an A. I was so scared of taking this class, I HATE public speaking, so if you hate it too take this class. For some can be easy A, but since I didn't like public speaking, was challenging but not hard

I took professor rosenberg and seriously learned A LOT. She really ttells you exactly what she wants and always responds very very quickly which I can appreaciate.

Professor Rosenberg is an excellent professor. Class consists of two midterms, a final quiz, and several papers. I took her in-person though in Fall 2018 from 9:00 AM-12:10 PM on Friday's. She was always accessible in Office Hours. The semester afterward I finished with an AA in Comm Studies and an AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences, got a B.

She has very clear modules to complete every week. All her assignments are very entertaining to do since they have to do with your own life. I took the 8 week course and this class was so worth it. If you do every assignment theres no way you can get less than an A. I would take again and actually miss her class when it ended. TAKE HER!!!

This is by far the best class Ive taken . I learned so much and Mrs. Rosenberg is truly amazing . Im sad this class will be ending soon. I would definitely take it again . She gives great feedback and always responds to you quickly. You should take her class, you work regret it !

Absolute sweetheart of a teacher. Shes caring nice understanding and its almost impossible to fail this class. Beyond fair and gives feedback on every assignment. Also very accessible outside of class.

I took her online comm 121 class. She has very clear grading and assignment criteria. As long as you complete your assignments you will pass this class. I did not get much use out of the text book. She is caring towards her students and I would recommend this professor.

Took this class online the professor is amazing 10 out of 10. Her class is super easy she provides notes and quizzes are super easy they are based off the notes. She has discussion posts that are really easy and about two projects and she grades fairly easy. Definitely recommend this class

Follow the rubric and you will be fine. Have two give 2 speeches. Just do them and you will pass. Quizzes might have a few tricky questions but nothing confusing or hard. She I was understanding when I asked for a mental day off. She allows her students to express themselves in the assignment. Easy to reach outside of school, responds fast to email

What a wonderful human being and excellent teacher. Show up (mentally, too!), pay attention, follow the curriculum, and you'll do well - but engage with the teacher and your classmates and you'll come away with so much more! Professor Rosenberg genuinely cares about all of her students and is extraordinarily helpful - you just have to ask.

Professor Rosenberg is so sweet! She always leaves kind comments on the work I turn in and seems very kind. Just make sure to do all of the work or your grade will go down, though its mainly discussion posts or quizzes. If you want an easy A, take this class.

She keeps it simple and organized, making it easy for everyone to understand. Whenever you may need help, she would set a time and date for you guys to meet. Instead of expecting to be the extra superficial speaker or a professional TED talker, she appreciates more humanistic yet prepared speeches. She has the sweetest voice and heart.

Prof. Rosenberg is the best professor. Every week she posts a lecture (no longer than 10 mins), short discussion (no peer commenting), and a short quiz (no longer than 12 questions, answers are in lecture). The work for the entire week takes no longer than 20 minutes. 2 short essays and 1 final project during the semester. Easy A & she's so kind!

Great professor. Her class was interesting and easy. You only have a few essays and a couple tests throughout the year, and she gives a study guide for the tests. Great teacher and there isn't a lot of work for the class.

If you want an easy A, this is the class you need to take. I was a bit scared of this class because of the speeches but she made it very easy. I took her 5 weeks winter class, and it was just weekly short quizzes, discussions, and three speeches in total. She recommends the book, but I didn't get it and still passed with an A, so you don't need it.

Professor Rosenberg is great! She provides you with a free textbook within her modules. She publishes the modules far in advance so you can get work done early, if you'd like. The material is interesting, and will definitely help you be more mindful while communicating with others. This class is a nice relief when you already have a heavy workload.

Professor Rosenberg was great! She posts weekly lectures and notes to help you with the weekly quizzes. I took her for 8 weeks online, and she gave us so much time to finish everything. We recorded ourselves for speeches... they have clear grading criteria and she provides beneficial feedback. Bonus she doesn't make us do peer responses!

8-week online class but designed in a way where you aren't overwhelmed with work. She is so sweet and offers feedback on assignments, and you will learn interesting things factors in communication. Timed quizzes but are open note. Free book! She grades really fast and answers emails.The final wasn't bad. If you need the class, take it with her!

The most down-to-earth, caring, respectful, and intellectual professor at Pierce. 350 characters is not enough! Simple syllabus. Study guides for tests. No HW. Easy speeches. Cares deeply and will help in a motherly way too! Teaches from the heart and makes her lectures entertaining and keeps you engaged. I'd take her for a third time if I could.

Loved her class so much! Her lectures are easy and all the presentations are super fun to do as you can choose what they are about based on the presentation you will be learning. The class is easy as long as you do the presentations and are creative. The test can be hard if you don't read the book so just read it.

Had Rosenberg for two classes, wish I cold of taken her for more but honestly one of the best professors at Pierce! She is very understanding, her work is straight forward and is always willing to help out. I couldn't recommend a better person to take! She is super nice but please don't try to BS her she can see past it, kindness is not weakness!

Professor Rosenberg is amazing, she gives you good feedback. She has discussion almost every week, weekly quizes just watch the videos and listen to her instructions and you'll do good. She has 3 speeches which are okay if you prepare yourself. I was so afraid to fail this class but she inspired me to keep going.

Prof Rosenberg is a God-Tier Professor. I took her for interpersonal comms and public speaking and passed both with A+. She is super understanding about life happening as long as you communicate with her (she can't read minds). She gives you study guides for Midterms and Finals, and applies the lessons to real life. Seriously - take her class!!

She is one of the best professors I have ever had! She taught in a way I can't explain but it was more than just lecture. She respected your point of views and always made sure you understood the material. I would definitely take again!

I would recommend this professor to anyone. Rosenberg is a cool teacher and I can tell she cares for her students. The workload (for me personally) wasn't that hard; it was mostly presentations and group work. As long as you do what she recommends, you should be good!

It's very rare to come across professors that not only teach a class by following a syllabus, but also offer more than the subject name itself. Professor Rosenberg accomplished both. She cares deeply for her students and even more deeply for their success.

Turn in your work, and you will be fine in her class. She is a very respectful professor and doesn't grade very hard at all.

Once in a while there is a professor who not only teaches amazingly within the syllabus, but also challenges your thinking process outside of class. This professor does both. She is understanding, respectful, and most importantly you can tell she loves her job.
