Jen has got to be one of the coolest teachers I had while attending. She is still young but by no means underestimate her for that. She totally knows what she is doing. She does understand that you have other things in your life than just math. Jen is the only reason I passed Math 27 finally.

Go to class and you will do fine! I am horrible at math, it takes me twice as long and twice the work to keep up but by going to class I was able to get an A- in the class! She is very helpful and understanding. Tells you what you need to know.

Very Good Teacher! Makes you feel very comfortable in taking an advanced Calculus glass. Great motivator and she is always there to help you out. She is not intimidating and dose not make you feel stupid if you don't understand the problem. The only problem is that she teaches kind of fast but she will kindly go back over anything you miss.

Wonderful, helpful person. Very open to students and goes with an attitude like "I hated when MY professors gave me pop quizzes so I think they are stupid and I won't give you guys any!" Tests were easy but I feel like I couldn't apply what I learned to the real world...just solve text book problems. But if you just want a good grade she's awesome.

Not only a great teacher, but extremely friendly, reasonable, and wants you to learn. Willing to explain and teach. Very clear and just overall fun. Remembers names, makes class feel personal and her instruction personal as well. Will explain until you get it, and if you get it faster, there are harder examples she gives to her "math nerds."

She is uber friendly and funny! She makes calculus so easy that if you try to read the book, you wouldn't understand it. She has memory tricks and step by step lists to solve everything. You only need the book for math HW. And she brings cookies to class! Love her. Considered changing my major b/c of her.

If you take math with Jen you won't regret it. You have to work hard, but she makes math understandable-which is so much more important than an "easy" teacher. You just have to know how to study! She is very approachable and friendly. I can actually say I am enjoying my Calculus class, and I didn't think that was possible! :)

Jen is the absolute best!! Math has forever been the most difficut subject for me and now I get it! Jen wants you to understand and is so helpful. I wish she taught in my elementary school days when I was struggling. Every teacher should be like Jen. Her chocolate chip cookies are pretty darn good too!

Jen is the absolute best math teacher I have ever had, and one of my favorite professors overall. I had previously taken Calc 1 with another professor and failed, and I honestly think I would have failed again if it weren't for Jen. Her class is the main reason I realized, "Hey, I'm actually capable of this stuff!" I can't thank her enough!

Jen is the best. If I could take her for my whole calculus series, I would craft my entire schedule around it. She brings levity to an otherwise traditionally dry subject. Really good teacher. Her lectures made sense and were understandable. She collects homework and sometimes has pop quizzes of 1 or 2 problems called problem of the day. There is a lot of homework to do and you need to do all of it to really pass. On the exams she isnt very hard grader and will give you a lot of partial credit if you make a mistake.

Best math teacher I have ever had. She is a little dorky but it keeps her class fun. You always know where you stand in her class and the grades are posted by the next class. I took calc in high school and it made me hate math. I retook it with her and got a high A. Awesome teacher

Jen is an awesome teacher. Clear, intelligent, helpful in every way. Makes Calc fun and easy to comprehend. Put in the time and you'll do well. Final is brutal. I got an A on every exam and then like a D on the final. Literally orders of magnitude harder than than regular exams. And she likes star wars so... bonus!

Jen is the Shiz. She is extremely helpful, she explains the lectures very well. She does not waste your time what so ever, we usually get out of class 20 minutes early every day. She is a contagious soul and just an all around amazing person. She explains concepts very well and the tests/quizes are pretty easy. If she is teaching a class, take it.

She is an amazing teacher. She wants her students to be able to succeed. If you are not great at math, I would HIGHLY recommend her as a teacher. She breaks it down step by step and makes sure you understand the material before moving to the next chapter. Have to show up though and as she says in her syllabus, "math is not a spectator sport".

This teacher is amazing! She is funny and makes the learning easy! You have to go to class to pass even though its not mandatory. I enjoy going to the class and most of the time she gets right to business so you get out of there early most days of class. I would take her for every math course if I could! I hate math and she made it much easier!!!

Jen's amazing. She would liven up our class with some story about her kids and/or Star Wars. So not only is she fun, but she is also a great lecturer. At first I hated math, now I actually kind of like it since I get it. She teaches you in a way that's very easy to learn therefore making homeworks easy and tests easy. Great teacher she is very clear in her lectures and stays on track. Do the homework and listen to her and you'll be fine. The tests are easy if you understands the concepts, no tricky questions.

Great professor, makes Calculus fun. Has a lot of good memorization devices that she passes on. She gets excited about the subject and it carries over to the class. She held office hours in the same room after class ended, which was super useful. Gives you stickers on your homework and tests. Class seems easy, but only because you learned it well.

I struggle with Math and previously had to drop the same class exact class. Jenn made Calculus seem not scary, completely manageable and gave me confidence. Jenn's lectures are to the point, she helps you develop a clear action plan to solving problems and she takes the time to learn your name. I would recommend Jenn to everyone and anyone!!

Jen has a relaxed and straightforward syllabus with a great teaching style. Always has an open door with convenient office hours. Posts self-written notes, lecture notes, and previous exams online. Does an excellent job going over homework and newly learned material.

Calculus is by no means an easy subject to learn, but Jen goes above and beyond to help you through it. Be prepared to do a lot of homework as with any calculus class, however, she is very forgiving about missing or late homework, quizzes and tests and will let you make up for it. Hands down the best math teacher I've ever had.

Professor Sanders is, by far, the best teacher I have had at Cuesta. She is kind, approachable, and knows her material. Even more important, she has a great way of explaining difficult material in a very straight forward way. If she is teaching any other class I have to take, I WILL take it.

I had to retake this class because my first teacher failed miserably in teaching me anything. Jen is so helpful and fun. By far my favorite teacher here at Cuesta, she made math suck just a little less.

Jen makes Calc II very clear and easy to understand. She is very organized, and you'll know about every quiz, HW, and exam well in advance. Her exams are not very difficult, generally easier than the hardest problems from the HW. She is very happy to help during her office hours. She totally deserves her outstanding reputation!!

Jen is amazing! She explains material in a simple context and honestly wants every one of her students to succeed. She printed out the notes for us but you have to attend class to fill in the blanks. Shes not a push over but shes flexible. We had a couple of group quizzes and she fully prepares you for the exams and final. Take her if you can!!

Jennifer is a great, fun-loving radiant person, who shows a very apparent love for teaching. She was always making jokes and making sure we understood the material. The class was much too easy for me though, but she made it fun.

She makes math fun, and really explains lessons in multiple ways, in order for everyone to understand. She also gives some extra credit on quizzes/tests. Oooh!! I feel honored to have taken and passed math 003 with this professor. I was so confused at the beginning of the semester and she wasn't there to give and grade the work. Jen genuinely cares where your understanding of math is, and if it is not where she is in the lesson she will do whatever it may take to get you there.

Sanders-Moreno is everything a community college professor should be. Helpful, caring, straightforward, approachable and smart. She gives students what they need to be successful. She is my first choice as a math professor.

If you have to take stats, Jen Sanders is the professor to take it with! She is cool, laid back, and has a great teaching style. I'm not sure I would be passing stats if it weren't for her method of teaching! Do ALL the homework and you'll hang! She is a fair grader and always willing to help and answer questions. Not wild about stats, loved her.

Jenn is the best math teacher that I've ever had in my life. I was a D and F student in high school when it came to math and I waited until the last possible semester to take math out of fear of failing; I have an A in Jenn's class! Every exam has a take home portion; some quizzes are open note; extra credit; and you can have a notecard on exams!

Very empathetic and relatable. She's really good at reading the room and adjusting her teaching style, fun and energetic. Great pick if math intimidates you, but she loves the subject and the math nerds too. I would skip class and read the book, but always came away with a much better understanding when I went, she makes hard stuff easy somehow.

Absolutely amazing teacher. Textbook is technically required, but just for the homework and you can find a PDF/rent it from the library for free. You could probably just take pics of the homework questions straight from her book. Astonishingly the best math teacher I've had in my life. PS: Attendance is only mandatory for the first 1 or 2 weeks

Jen(nifer) is by far my favorite math professor I have taken thus far. Her and Denise Chelsen are highly recommended by me. I am not a math fan, never have been but I took stats this semester with Jen and I have done really well with her teaching style. She gives you all of the resources you could ever want and really takes the time to teach.

I had Jen for Trig, Calc I, and Calc II. She has been my favorite teacher by far here at Cuesta. She wants you to do well and not only understand but appreciate the material and it shows. Attendance is definitely recommended but if you miss multiple lectures it isn't the end of the world as she puts up a set of clear notes for every lecture. 5/5

She is absolutely wonderful. She really cares for each student and makes a huge effort to learn everyone's names. If you don't understand something she will go out of her way to help you. Definitely recommend her. She is full of life and cares for everyone. The first two weeks she takes attendance after that you can choose to go or not.

I hate math, but I loved math when I was taking her class! This teacher I will always remember because she cares about her students, has a sense of humor, shows many different methods on how to get the answers... and I just like her as a person! If you want to take math and she's an option.. take her!! you wont regret it unless your not trying!

Great professor, she clearly puts a lot of work into making the material easy to understand and there is a reasonable amount of homework. Exams aren't too hard, you can get an A+ on them if you do all the homework and exam review material. Highly recommend.

This professor is so sweet and she taught so well in her lectures. There is quite a bit of homework, but it really helps your understanding of calc. She really helps her students understand the steps in solving these problems, and she is great!

Very good entry level stats class. Lecture videos are short, yet leave you with a solid understanding of each concept. online quizzes are a breeze. Extra Credit short discussions are offered online. Definitely highly recommend for your math requirements!

Jen was an amazing professor. She really cared about the success of all of her students. In fact, if something came up (canvas issues) she would then push back assignments to accommodate everyone. Her lectures were very helpful and covered topics that were all on the tests. I would recommend taking her class to anyone!

Math247 Statistics- She is an amazing teacher who works hard to help you understand Statistics. She provides great lectures, notes, and videos you can review for extra help. I got a B+ and worked very hard for it.

Amazing professor! By far the best professor I've had at Cuesta. Stats is hard, but she helps out so much and is always there for you if you need it. If you need to get your math requirements out of the way, register for her class before you're waitlisted.

TAKE HER CLASS. Her lectures are really clear & gives papers to fill out for notes. I adore her! Do her hw, qz, & study and this will be an easy pass. idk why i gotta B though lol I just didn't prepare myself for the actual first exam. She does have a good amount of quizzes and at least 5 exams plus a final. Lots of valuable resources in canvas.

She's amazing. She can teach you stats with 5 minute videos and you'll get it. Just MAKE SURE you take notes. Without them you'll be sorry. Quite a few timed quizzes but they're not to bad. The exams are easier if you do the written portion first before the timed. (Plenty of time on exams) She's so sweet, she has a high pitched voice, it isn't bad

Mrs. Sanders was amazing! She is the kindest teacher you'll ever have. On every assignment she will add a nice comment! If you ever need help, she is happy to help! This class was super informative because I do want to be a math teacher so this gave me some insight and ways to help students! The material is super easy because its elementary level.

I hadn't taken any complex math for almost a decade and managed to get an A in this class. Attendance is not mandatory, but Jen is so good at teaching that if you show up everyday, pay attention, and ask questions, you will pass the class. I would say my only critique is that she is a Steelers fan, once you get past that shes the best.

She deserves every good review that she gets, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to handle calc after struggling in precalculus but her teaching methods and attitude made it so easy to study, do well, and understand the material. i love her so much you guys dont understand. i literally hated statistics in high school but her lectures made everything so clear and she is the cutest person ever. i passed, and learned so much due to how well she explains everything, also she allows for tests to be taken with notes and posts all lecture videos. i wish she taught other classes.

Jen is undoubtedly the best math teacher I've ever had. I came out of high school after struggling a bit in precalculus and I wasn't sure how I would manage in calc. But Jen made hard topics so easy to understand and I was able to get a really good grade. I would take her a million times over 11/10

If you haven't taken a Math class in years, and think you won't succeed, take this class with professor Sander-Moreno. She was AMAZING!!! She truly cares for all her students and wants them all to be successful in her class. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, my anxiety level went down, and I actually enjoyed the lectures. RECOMMEND!

Easily the best professor I've ever had. If her class fills up and you're able to put off taking this class, do it and sign up with her next semester! She made the material so easy to understand and allows open note exams. The lectures aren't required in person, only the first 2 weeks are required then your welcome to listen to her online videos.

Don't need to write much, take her class. Best professor I have ever had, and is super chill about grading and second chances if you miss anything or turn in late work. Makes any material easy to follow and understand, it felt like I was in a kindergarten class (in a good way!). If you can get in her class, absolutely do it, you will succeed!

I would take her for every single class if I could. She is VERY good at explaining Statistics. Her lectures made it easy to understand and follow along. I wish every teacher would teach the way she does. Highly recommend. Stay on top of the work and you will do great.

Math is not my strongest subject but Mrs. Sanders-Moreno made Math easier to understand. She is such an amazing teacher that cares about her students and shows it. She is the best Math teacher I've ever had in Cuesta College. She is so down to earth and treats you like a student. As long as you do the HW and watch the PowerPoints you'll be fine.

Best stats teacher, I took a different teacher last semester and I ended up dropping his class because it was unenjoyable, I ended up taking this teacher this semester and she makes the lectures so easy to understand and makes them not too long. I would take this teacher again for any other math class

Loved this class everything was on canvas and no textbook needed which was awesome. Provides StatCrunch as well so no extra purchases for the class are needed. Thorough with material and makes it easy and fun to learn.
