Her first test was so hard it took nearly two hours to finish in a class that is one hour and fifteen minutes. I was late to my next class. She is impatient and kind of rude.
If you can learn it from the book, then you can handle the professor because she expects you to already know it.
Mrs. Schneider has her CPA, and really knows her Accounting, but lacks effective teaching skills. She often flies through the material and expects you to immediately catch on. She was good about giving some extra credit opportunities though(you will definitely need them). Do not take unless you can teach yourself Accounting!
This class is difficult by nature. It's not a class you can just slid by in. You actually have to do some work...read the chapters, do the assigned homework, and go to class. Schneider offers her help to anyone who asks for it. She does fly through the powerpoints, but she does it because she expects that you've read the chapter.
Mrs. Scheider is a very nice lady. She wants to help students out, but she is not talented at teaching. You will have to teach yourself most of the information. If you struggle with memorizing and math, don't take her. She's a great Accountant, but not a great teacher.
She is a hard teacher! You have to do the work to get the grade. She is a very compassionate teacher! I walked away with an A... worked my butt off but she is great at what she does!
She expects a lot out of her students. She is not going to just give you the grades; you have to earn them. I loved her! She is caring and really makes every effort for her students! She knows her stuff..... Do not take her if you are not up for the challenge!
She is a good teacher, will stop and work with you on anything you don't understand. Her test are hard and make you study but she tells you what to expect.
Grades and tests primarily conducted through Cengage. Extremely willing to help additionally if she sees you putting forth effort. DO NOT MISS due dates on Cengage she will NOT change the dates no matter the excuse! Over all great teacher, I will definitely be taking 2102 with her except this time online!
She is a great professor! Most tests and homework are done on Cengage! She will do everything she can to help you, but accounting is a hard class! Do the work go to class and you will do great.
This whole class is done online (even though it's not an online class)and the work required is ridiculous. Plan to spend hours doing all the required CENGAGE stuff. I stayed with the class doing all the practice tests and exercises and has had an 89 going into the first test but then made a 55 on the test. Nice person, prepare to teach yourself.
Great Teacher! Most of the work is online via cengage. Read the chapter & go to class. She doesn't just give you the answer she makes you think and figure it out on your own, which helps in the long run. There is no reason not to get a 100 on all the homework. I'm a freshman & I came away with an +A. Put forth an effort and you'll be fine.
Class is all taught through Cengage. The first thing she tells the class is: "I AM NOT A TEACHER, I AM A CPA." That should be your first clue to drop the class. She does not teach, and abuses the T.A. the majority, if not all you learn will be because of the T.A. horrible teacher! DO NOT TAKE THE CLASS! Save yourself while you still can
You have to do the work, but pretty much you have to teach yourself if you planning on passing the class. She is terrible teaching; she goes way too fast and expects you to know the stuff right away and she barely covers the chapter. I would choose somebody else.
WORST teacher I have ever had. Extremely unhelpful, unclear, and rude. Do not take her!
This teacher is terrible goes way to fast. Does not explain thing in a clear way and can be very rude. get frustrated if you do not know something after she goes over something.
Great teacher with tons of real world experience. SHE WILL NOT BABY YOU. As with everything in the grown-up world, accounting is best learned by doing it yourself with some support. Do your homework and you will be fine. I entered the class thinking I was going to detest accounting, but after taking both accountings with her I might major in it.
She is not a teacher she is "professionally qualified" to teach accounting. Honestly she expects you to teach yourself the material and if you don't know something she is unhelpful with a short temper. I didn't need a bad grade so after the second test that I studied for and failed I dropped the class.
I took a short session online class with this teacher, and it was by far one of the most stressful classes I've ever taken. Unless you have no life and enjoy doing online assignments for 8+ hours every night, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS.
Do NOT take this professor! We were told on the first day of class that if we couldnt learn without her teaching us, to drop the class. I should have taken her seriously, she will not teach. Ther are only 4 test, a final, three short papers, and presententation. There is a ton of homework, at least three sets every week. This class took all my time
Worst professor I've ever had. She berates students every chance she gets. She is extremely rude, and short tempered. The assignments are tough and unnecessarily long. She does not teach, but expects you to know the material. The book is confusing and difficult to follow. I've learned nothing, wasted 20 hrs a week for her. I want my money back.
She was great at explaining things when she would. It was all hw and classwork we didn't really have lecture or work together too much. The online he was good for learning the stuff, but tests were a completely different style on paper so it messed me up. She has strange deadlines and you have to pass assignments before we go through that chapter.
Accounting with Prof. Schneider was so tough and draining. What she asked of her students was so unclear, that I had to ask some classmates for help, which was rendered by very few who understood the material. As for homework assignments, she first assigns the practice version(not parallel to the actual), which was not very helpful to grade.
Most coursework is done online through Cengage. Test are also on Cengage, but are formatted very differently from the HW assignments. She likes to talk about her professional experience in accounting, and says that she is NOT a teacher, and that should speak for itself.
DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!! She will not help you with a border line grade i took her for Accounting 2101 and everyone in my class scored below a 65 and she did not curve the final in any way. Was extremely rude to me when me and a group of students who were boarder line and needed to get out of the class asked what we could do for a C or a curve.
Shes a CPA more than a teacher. Homework is due the night before she "goes over" the material in class. You have to get a certain grade on practice hw to unlock real homework. No forgiveness if you mess up. She DOES NOT teach in class, and if you ask questions she treats you like you are stupid. Class is in a computer lab but you cant use E-Book...
Not kidding when I say, she does NOT help you at all in an extremely hard class. All work is done online before she goes over anything and she expects you to know how to do the work..? The tests/HW is on Cengage but dont be fooled bc the test looks NOTHING like the HW and she doesnt prepare you. Makes students feel stupid if they dont understand.
Shocking that a prof thinks you can learn all of ACCT2102 on your own. She does not help you whatsoever. You're to go home, do the homewrk (that she doesnt teach you), understand it, ask questions, then take an online test. No curves at all on anything. Very rude with a huge attitude about everything u dont understand. Dont see how shes still hired
First of all, be prepared to be talked down to. She is not a great teacher, but excels at condescending. Don't skip class, she'll withdraw you. Tests are tough and if she tells you not to worry about a topic, study it twice as hard. LOTS OF homework through Cengage. Watch all the cengage videos for each topic and you will do fine.
She will help you, if you go to her office hours. She is a bit bitter, but she does want to see her students succeed. If you show initiative, work hard, and ask questions, you will do well in her class. She is very fond of her top students and will do what she can to help.
Do the work and she will notice. I was on the edge of passing and I went to her and showed I cared for the curriculum and I passed. Show that you care and she will grade you well.
Doesn't teach. Believes in a "flipped classroom." So basically, teach yourself, don't ask questions, and I'm just here to draw a paycheck while I make you look like an idiot every lecture. If you even remotely care about your GPA, DO NOT TAKE HER. Regardless of your schedule, find another professor, just trust me.
She does not teach, just goes over problems in class while you teach yourself at home. If you enjoy accounting, its not that difficult, because all tests are multiple choice. She is very rude and not cut out for teaching. Avoid if possible.
This was the hardest class I have ever taken. it is the class not teacher. She assigns homework before the lecture. There is so much to teach she wants to only go over the things causing problems. I did not have time for a tutor or meetings and she literally called me to go over questions. Stern with high expectations but wants to help you succeed
I struggled through this class, but I think it was more of material being hard than the teacher. One thing that bothered me was that she assigns the homework before she discusses it in class, so it's extremely hard to do homework on a topic you haven't been taught. It got frustrating, but at least she's willing to answer any questions you have.
This professor was extremely rude. She did not teach the class at all. She expected everyone to teach themselves, and if you asked a question, she would make you feel extremely stupid. Literally 50% of the class dropped by the end of the second test. Avoid her at all costs.
Why teach when you can just make students teach themselves at home? Class time is spent trying to clear up confusion on class structure. BY FAR the most POORLY structured and run class I have taken. Don't bother with questions, you'll get humiliated and made to feel as if you're incompetent. How she is still employed as a professor is beyond me.
Very hard teacher but makes you a better learner and helps improve self learning and problem solving skills.
She is a great teacher and beautiful as well.
She is not the easiest teacher but she does make you work hard and make you earn your grade. It's great the way she teaches because in the real world they just do the same thing make you figure out what you got to do yourself.
Does not know how to teach. Probably doesn't have any friends. Thinks that a normal class is a "hybrid class" which means that she expects you to learn by yourself instead of in class. Tells bad stories about the IRS and then laughs awkwardly by herself. Class average during tests was almost always a failing grade. Avoid at all costs.
Extremely arrogant. She blames the class for having a failing average and gives a very minor curve on tests in order to claim a "curve". Her teaching skill is absolutely non-existent. Avoid taking her class no matter what. I have never in my life seen a professor so unqualified. The only reason she has a job is the lack of other accounting profs.
She is not that difficult just learn materia on your own and you'll get an A. She's hot too
Just take an online class. She is not a great teacher, I plan to try the other professor next semester. A ton of self teaching, and her office hours are impossible to get to for anyone who has a normal job.
She is not an easy teacher but she really cares for students and wants everyone to succeed.
You have to work very hard to do well in this class. I took the hybrid class. But if you showed effort she was more than willing to help you. Very nice and wanted to see us succeed.
Jennifer Schneider is that Russian gymnastics teacher that *metaphorically* screams at you and kicks your butt when practicing for the Olympics. She is smart. You will be better off sitting in the front row, phones away. If you have a decent knowledge of math, and do those prior things, you can easily get an A. There are 0 surprises in expectations
She is awful. She does not know how to teach. She understands accounting but cannot reciprocate. She will get defensive any time you ask a question and single you out for 10 mins of class time that you payed for. I was lucky enough to pass with a B. It was all self taught. Half the class will drop before last day to drop without a WF.
She is honestly one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She makes students feel terrible when they do not understand the work. She immediately gives students examples to work on in class and expects you to know the material before you arrive. I would literally rather take any other professor at UNG, especially for an intro level class.
The class itself is already hard. Her grading sucks. If you get one thing wrong she mark the whole thing wrong. ALOT of homework. Each assignments are at least 3 hrs long and yet its only 10% of the grade. No extra credits. She won't post answers online. MUST know every detail of the chapt. If you fail she just assume you didn't put in time to stud
Just don't risk taking her.
Since this class was only 50 minutes long, the only way to get through 12 chapters in 1 semester is for students to read at home and come prepared with questions to ask. I did that and got an A. She won't have time to teach everything. The long homework really helps in understanding the material.
Professor Schneider knows what she is talking about but is not a good teacher. She goes at an extremely fast pace in what is an already very difficult class. There's a lot of homework assigned that is tedious and time consuming. Tests are extremely hard as well. Be prepared to work tirelessly everyday to try to pull an A out of this class.
I took this class last semester and i have to say one of the most difficult teachers to teach this class. They were 50 students in the class but only 13 were left. One thing wrong on the test well the whole thing is wrong. This is an introduction class but she teaches it like one of the higher level classes. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!
shes not a good teacher and gives so much homework that you have no time to actually do it unless you do not work.
You'll spend around 10 hours a week, out of class, completing assignments online. In class, a practice problem will be assigned and you'll be expected to complete it with minimal instruction from the professor. Unless you read the textbook, or complete your assignments early, it's difficult to understand the few concepts she covers in class.
Not the best teacher, but it's clear that she only has her job because of her features. Not bad. She has jokes, but sometimes I question my laugh if they are actually funny or out of sympathy.
All of the warning comments are very true, just don't even risk taking her even if its your only choice. By far out of my three years in college she's been the worst professor I've ever had
She's one of those professors who thinks you just need to read the book, come into class with some questions, and be alright. The problem with that is that the book is so dry, boring, and confusing. Plus, she only goes over answers in the workbook problems she gives us and doesn't tell us how to get those answers. LOTS of homework. Teaches too fast
Knows what she is talking about but is not a good professor. She makes her students do the work & figure it out by ourselves. She says she wants us to be "self-taught", but the way she does it is horrendous. We are left almost on our own in a class that is already hard to understand. Thinks we can learn just by reading the book, which is confusing
Don't know who told her to be a professor, she provides the most negative environment I have ever been in. If I can be any help to any future students, please take this class with a different professor and if she is your only option at your campus spent the gas money to drive to another one, so worth it!!!! 11/10 do not recommend!!!
If you miss more than 3 classes, you will be dropped from the class. She takes attendance every day. This class is pretty much self taught, so if you can learn outside of the classroom, you'll be alright. Homework is through Cengage and will probably take about 10 hours per week. Over half the class will drop right before the last day.
Dont take if you want to teach yourself. She is very strict and harsh. Welcome to class. Today we will start talking about chapter ##. I assume you have read & completed chapter assignments. Do you have any questions? No? Wow! No question on the chapter I havent covered? Fine. Heres a test. You should have prepare for class better
She makes it EXTREMELY clear that she does not give ANY opportunity for students to help get their grades up. Half of the class dropped out. My best advice that I learned from her tests is MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL and that youre not just working problems out. The wording completely changes on the tests than they are written in the book
Awful class, terrible teaching style, prepare to teach yourself because she does not like to teach. This was an entirely self taught experience. She also brought with her negative feedback towards the class, calling us a failing class and continued to go on about how bad of a class we were.
In Principles of Accounting 2, she expects you to remember EVERYTHING from Accounting 1 perfectly. There is LOTS of online homework in Cengage. There is also homework out of the book (have the access pass too). She will make you feel dumb if you ask a question or even get the slightest thing wrong. Please take somone else. Anyone else. I beg you.
Miss one line on a balance sheet or income statement, then better believe she counts the entire thing wrong.
Just don't take this class. That's all i can say.
She is all about participation in class and likes peer to peer teaching. Class is mandatory and part of your grade. There is lots of homework. Be prepared to work for your grade.
Its a tough class. Period. Attendance is mandatory because you probably wont pass if you ditch all the time. She does this for YOUR benefit. Yes, she grades tough, but the tests arent super hard if you actually study. Cengage assignments help understand the material. Do the work before coming to class and lectures will make sense. I liked her!
This is THE WORST professor/teacher I haveacct ever had. She's an awful person that will humiliate you with questions on untaught material every day. In this class, you will teach yourself and the tests are nothing like what you study. I feel completely ripped off by the school for allowing her to teach. Don't take her class!
Won't let you leave to go to the bathroom, or she will chase you down and tell you not to come back to class. We are in college, and we are adults, not high schoolers. I had to drop her class because the online homework was the only thing teaching me. We only did problems in class, but never had time to go over them. Avoid her course at all costs.
I thought I had seen it all. I hadn't. Genuinely the worst professor I have ever had. Miss more than 3 days and you kicked out. Made a girl cry in class. Does not teach you anything, self taught class. Wants to see you fail. I am an accounting major and now hate accounting lol Would never recommend Jennifer Schneider to literally any single person.
She is not a very fun teacher at all. She expects you to understand every single concept before her even going over it with you in class. She also DEMANDS that you have a physical copy of the book, even if you have the ebook. I did not enjoy her class at all, and I would not recommend her to anyone really.
Worst. Professor. Ever. You teach yourself in this class. She goes over a few problems in class but mocks you if you don't know what you're doing. If you don't come to class prepared, she'll call you out. Like a middle school teacher in her bad attitude and strict rules (no bathroom). Made me cry in class. I make all A's, almost got C in this one.
Jennifer Schneider gives lots of homework in and unreasonable amount of time, does not let you go bathroom during class (and asks you to leave class if you try). I have seen her embarrass classmates, and will not give you credit if one thing is wrong on accounting sheets. At all cost, do not take her.
If there is any positive comments about this woman, it is either her or a former student of hers that she gave brain damage to. In my class everyone despised her. She doesnt teach anything and embarrasses students who are confused about anything.
I wish I had read these reviews first. Think twice before you take her. Her emails are condescending. She will dance around any question. You are your own teacher and student, and she is an observor that is a huge critic.
Jennifer Schneider is not a good professor at all. Avoid this woman at all cost. Her ability to teach is non existent. She assigns homework that takes over 2 hours to complete, and then reviews it in class. If you get something wrong she does not explain why. If you miss 2 classes, she will drop you from the class with no notice. Should be fired.
Prof. Schneider is very professional and gives you all the tools needed to succeed in the class. This is accounting, the class is will be incredibly difficult and you CANNOT take shortcuts if you wish to pass. PLEASE LISTEN TO HER WHEN SHE SAYS REPETITION IS THE BEST PRACTICE! Cengage will be your best friend as it gives you practice exams/problems
Do NOT take this class. You will struggle so much. The midterm and final are worth enough to cause you to fail if you have a bad day. Who puts a midterm at 30% of your grade. She is the rudest teacher Ive EVER had. Would never recommend someone that disrespects their students so much.
Schneider goes down the rows of students and calls on everybody in class to do problems. She has a very condescending attitude and enjoys when you answer the question wrong so she can tell you off. Even if you get the question right, she will ask more questions about the course that you will get wrong so she can have the satisfaction of you failing
I had her for both Acct 2101 and 2102 and would recommend finding a different ACCT professor. She expects you to learn all of the content on your own time and only uses class time for questions. However, good luck asking your questions because she does not want to help you out.
She's really just not a good teacher and doesn't seem to care about trying to be. Every class felt like a passive-aggressive battle between her and the students.
This is one of the worst professors I've come in contact with. She does not have clear instructions or due dates. She may reply to your emails quickly, but she will have an attitude about it. Don't take her class.
Prof. Schneider was possibly the worst experience I had. We paid for a fully in person course and she managed to only show up 1/2 the time. She got to stay home while we sat in the classroom via zoom (not what we paid for). Not to mention she uses Cengage which locks you out after every submission so you get no study materials for a hard class.
She does not really teach. She barely shows up to class. The way she "teaches" is she pulls up the textbook on the projector screen and reads it to us. She likes it when you fail the test. The total test grades are worth 57% so it worth a lot of the final grade. She did not even know how to answer some of the Gleim questions she gave us.
I was forced to take her when my first professor quit and UNG put me in her online class. Her midterm and final count 60%. This is an online class, but you have to take her tests at a certain time and only have 60 mins to do spreadsheets before the test shuts down. Her final will be in person, even though she has not taught anything.
Please do not take this teacher at all cost. Her test is 43 questions and gives you an hour to complete the test. Most of them are multiple choice and the rest are fill in blanks. This is an accounting class and she expects you to do calculations one minute per question on the test, which is hard.
Worst professor. She does not teach. All assignments were through Cengage which she sets a 60-minute time limit on. No way to finish and I am a fast test taker. Had to leave questions blank; she says it leads to integrity so would not listen to students and change amount of time given. Final will be in person even though I am in online class.
Hands down the worst professor I have ever had... I got thrown into this class because my professor I signed up for quit. There is no effort to teach the material needed to succeed, it's all textbook and Cengage assignments. The textbook is confusing and provides no detail. Lastly, the tests are impossible to finish with the 60 minute time period.
Worst professor ever. I was put in her class after my in-person class was canceled. She does not teach and gives one hour for tests that are over 40 questions. I never get the whole test completed. When I email her for help, she doesnt respond or offer any mentoring or suggestions.
The tests are impossible to finish... The midterm and final are worth 60% of your grade. I'm in her online class and have to take the test in person which makes 0 sense considering I live almost 2 hours away from the campus. As an online professor, she provides no lectures or videos to understand the material. She's a complete waste of opportunity.
Have no idea how she has a job. I would not take her if she was the only option. For an online class, she forces you to go to an in person final exam on the Gainesville campus in the middle of the day. If you work, you better be prepared to take day off. Puts 60-minute time limit on accounting tests. No way to finish the tests in that time.
Classes are usually reading through the chapters. Tests were based off the homework so if you do that repeatedly you're fine. You have to really understand the concepts before you can pass a test, so plan on doing real studying in this class.
Horrible experience! My first and only C at UNG, and I was thankful for it. I start UGA next semester, and up until the last day I thought I would be retaking this class. This was the most stressful experience of my life and I wished I had listened to all of the reviews, but I thought how bad could she really be. She is that bad!
By far the worst professor I have had and the most difficult class I have ever been enrolled in. Despite getting high 'A's on all of the homework assignments, I failed the first two exams (very different than the homework and have a tight time limit). I exhausted available resources and generally earn high grades, but worried about even passing.
This will be the hardest class you will ever take. Tips: Do the assignment 1 practices (retake the quizzes), re-do homework assignments by hand & take notes of them, do the textbook practices, learn everything in the textbook (EVERYTHING), support each other in a group chat, and get 100's on the homework because it might save your grade.
Took the class online but required to go to campus for in person final. The final was scheduled at the same time as my actual in person class, but u have to let her know the first week of class about any scheduling differences. She was super rude in person, made people go get a UNG ID made if they did not have it for the final. Takes it too serious
had her for my online acct class so I get to save myself from embarrassment this semester. basically, cheat on every test because they were not proctored so that gave me a little way into the grade I wanted. she doesn't not answer any of my emails back in January and doesn't care to help you. please get Chegg, it will save ur life and your grade.
Not accommodating or caring AT ALL!!
The class offers no extra credit for you to boost your grade. On top of that she has a very strict no exceptions policies that students should be sure to watch out for. There will be no time in which you can complete any of these tests in a reasonable manner. I highly recommend that you DO NOT chose Prof. Schneider as your Accounting 2 teacher.
Tests are worth 57% of the grade. Not from the homework, classwork, or quizzes but from the CPA exam. Hard to pass. Classes are just scrolling through the textbook. Rest of the grade is data analytics, Connect HW, and discussion posts. Lets you resubmit data analytics but must show screenshots of your work. Possible to make 100% on the other 43%.
So much hw. Got mad at a student for going to the restrooms. Hard tests
No Matter how hard you work in this course she is a very hard grader and gives no extra credit. Midterm and final exam are 30% of your grade if you take it online. I promise you to take another professor that will help you out when your are giving your everything. Even if you work hard You might not pass the class.
want a professor that belittles you when asking questions? Here she is!! want a professor that power trips you the first week of class? don't freight, you'll have to beg to be put back in the class. how about a professor that makes you go to campus on a Saturday for your exams? is the class online? also yes. want to not learn acct? here she is.
there is no extra credit, tests are 80% with the hw being nothing toward your grade. you have to go to several pros events that are not accessible there are no exceptions to this. she has a poor attitude, is rude when you try to work with other students. she doesn't teach she just assumes you will teach yourself. you will just hurt your GPA in it
You have two cengage assignments due each week BUT they only count for a small percent of your grade. The midterm and final are worth 80% of your grade and there must be taken on campus on Saturdays. If you fail one you fail the class. You cannot reschedule the test no matter what.
For the online course, you can expect to only use Cengage, with the exception of 3-4 Data Analytic excel assignments worth 5% of your grade. This class is just reading the textbook & completing 2 HWs per unit. If you struggled in ACCT 2101, expect to struggle in this course too. She responds quickly to email. Utilize GROUPME if you can.
Listen to the other reviews on here!!! This class truly is THAT HARD. The only thing that really impacts your grade is the midterm & final (which is on campus). She is extremely un-helpful when you have questions. This is 100% a class you have to teach your self
Out of all the classes I took at UNG, this was the worst professor I have ever took. 3 tests are worth 77% of your and are CPA questions. Class average for every test was failing. Teacher is extremely rude and loves to see her students fail. No wonder she is divorced. Can not control her life at home so she tries to control her students. SAD TO SEE
professor was a disrespectful woman. called me out for using the wrong calculator in front of the class the calculator I was using was allowed during class time just not during tests. then she pointed out that I got a question wrong and didn't bother to help me. If you need to leave for the restroom you have to just leave for the whole class.
Doesn't teach the class at all, it is all taught on Cengage. Assigns "Data Analytics" assignments that are not taught AT ALL, and are on excel so if you do not know much about excel you are screwed. If you ask her for help she will not help you, more than likely because she doesn't even know how to do them. Listen to these ratings I PROMISE YOU.
I think shes a great professor. Clear criteria and objectives. Hard class, but if you study the material you should pass. The online platform (Cengage) was very helpful for me. She doesnt put up with nonsense or people leaving the class - as it clearly states in the syllabus. She knows her stuff and is willing to help if you just ask.
I had this professor as my advisor as well and I have requested a change in advisors through the dean. This woman is awful and doesn't help or care to help. She favors students and has never shown one ounce of supporting me personally or academically. If it is your job to help students, and you don't- why are you in education? AVOID HER AT ALL COST
Look out for Data analytics. I once sat in her office & cried out of frustration because she did not teach how to do it & I was having TONS of problems with it. I left feeling stupid and demeaned. She blamed my problems on not knowing accounting material but I told her over and over again I did not know how to do the pivot table in Excel.
Took her 5 week audit course over the summer and it was hard but not impossible. 80% of your grade is based on 3 tests. Read the book and do the practices quizzes on Gleim (really focus on these). The homework is super easy and will only help your grade. I had zero negative or bad interactions with her. She was always pleasant in my experience.
Took her this past Spring, and it was certainly a rollercoaster. Tests graded heavy, 3 absences then you're dropped, long Cengage homework, and data analytics. Just read the textbook!!, listen when Dr. Jonick comes in, and go to class. She appreciates you coming to her for help especially outside of or after class, as it shows willingness to learn.
This professor has a reputation for being tough and unhelpful. The class is challenging, with mandatory attendance and exams on campus. Leverage study tools like Unstuck study and stay dedicated to passing this course.
I cannot say enough terrible things about Jennifer. She's condescending, unreasonable, and unhelpful. You have something due almost every single day, the data analytics assignments she gives out take forever and she will not EVER extend a due date or take late grades. If you think it wont be that and take her anyways you will regret it like i do.
Despite audit's reputation I was pleasantly surprised that the class wasn't too bad. A lot of extra credit and the tests weren't too over the top. However, Schnieder herself isn't the best teacher and usually just delegates the duties to the students, making them teach the class. She also has arbitrary, stringent requirements for her homework
This is a hard class, but Prof Schneider really wants her students to succeed. I appreciate her dedication to teaching.
Professor Schneider was not a very good instructor. She is rude to her students and all of the learning responsibilities are on the students. This is a fully self taught class. If you wanna save your GPA then it's best to not take her.
This was the worst professor I've ever had
Professor Schneider was very nice from my experience. HOWEVER!!!!! As far as teaching goes she was the worst professor I've ever had. The class is completely self taught!! Your job is to read the textbook and come to class with questions. I'd recommend everyone to take her advice and go to tutoring. And please whatever you do DON"T SHOW UP LATE!!
